Summary: Y/N (Your Name) annoys her boyfriend, Isaac, with a lot of dumb / flirty puns.
A/N: I love puns too much, I swear so this was really fun.. Feedback is always welcome, and I hope you loves enjoy.
“Now what’s on the menu?” I asked my boyfriend, Isaac, with a cheek grin as he raised an eyebrow at me, “Me-n-u.”
“I swear to god, Y/N,” He groaned, shutting his locker and walking toward the lunch room with me close on his heels, snickering.
“I’m sorry I wasn’t part of your past. Can I make it up by being in your future?” I teased the curly haired boy as we walked to our lunch table. As much as I was annoying him, I saw the smile at that one. Isaac took a seat in between Scott and Boyd as I sat in between Erica and Stiles.
“Uh-oh, is Y/N telling bad puns again?” laughed Stiles, upon seeing the annoyed look on Isaacs’ face.
“Something’s wrong with my eyes,” I started, and Isaac sat up in worry, “because I can’t take them off of you.”
“Get out,” Isaac deadpanned, as the group looked at the two of us in amusement. I pouted, stealing a fry from his tray.
“I once heard a joke about amnesia, but I forgot how it goes,” Stiles joined in with the puns, and I gave him a high-five.
“I love every bone in my body, especially yours,” I winked at Isaac, who choked on his water, and went bright red. Erica let out a whistle as Scott clapped Isaac on the back, laughing with Boyd, Lydia, Allison and Erica.
“A bicycle can’t stand on its own because it’s two tired,” grinned Stiles as the group groaned as we continued spitting puns out to the group.
“Shut the fuck up,” Isaac groaned, slumping in his seat as Stiles and I pouted, but remained quiet for the rest of the lunch.
“Bet you can’t get Isaac irritated in five minutes,” mumbled Erica, as we sat in the loft with Peter, Malia, Cora, Derek, Boyd, and Isaac. I smirked, and shook her hand, looking at Isaac.
“Baby, love is an open door,” I called to Isaac, earning a groan from him but looks of curiosity from Derek and Peter, “So are my legs.”
“I swear to god, we will break up,” He threatened, as I giggled with Erica. Even Peter and Derek had small smirks on their faces.
“What? You mean, you don’t want me to open my legs for you?” I asked, with raised eyebrows, chuckling as he became a red.
“N - n - not what I meant,” He stuttered.
“I don’t need a spoonful of sugar to make me go down,” I winked as he choked on his breathe, while everyone else burst out laughing.
“If you make one more pun, I will literally stab you,” Isaac gritted through his teeth more as I let out a playful angry sigh.
“That was easyyy,” Erica sang teasingly, handing me five dollars. I giggled, and argeed, high-fiving her. I didn’t realize Isaac had gotten up, until I was thrown over his shoulder, letting out a little squeal.
“I will take you on the going down though,” I heard the smirk in Isaacs’ tone, and I blushed as Erica and Cora whistled as he carried me out to my car.
“Archie, you know my parents won’t let me go on a date with you. You know they think you’re a bad guy.” I replied to the love of my high school life, Archie Andrews. Archie was a great guy. An amazing football player, musician and a good and honest person, but for some reason my family didn’t like him.
“Come on, please! I’ll take you to Pop’s and you can tell them that. Maybe if they know where we’re going they’ll be more likely to let you go.”
“You’ve asked me 6 times before and every time they’ve said no. You must really love me, eh Andrews?” I smiled and blushed, did I just say he loved me? He looked down at his hands and smiled.
“Maybe I do. Look, do I have to come over and ask them like its 1940? Because I will.”
“I’ll ask, I promise. Okay?”
“Okay.” And with that Archie walked away to join Reggie and the boys for football practice.
Later that night I sat in my room getting ready for mine and Archie’s date. My legs were trembling as the though of having to turn him down again crossed my mind. I really didn’t want to break Archie’s heart again and I was afraid that if I had to turn him down for the 7th time he would move on to another girl, which would be devastating. I was unsure what to wear, since if I was too dressed up my parents would surely suspect something, but I didn’t want to look like my everyday self either. So I pulled on a pair of leggings and a dress, hiding the suspicion (well maybe just a little bit). My hair was pulled half up as usual and the faintest bit of lipstick adorned my lips. As 7pm approached I became more and more nervous. Not because of Archie, but my parents. At a quarter to 7 I walked downstairs, purse in tow, trying to be as quiet as possible, but sadly, Betsy, my dog started barking.
“(Y/N) dear, where are you going?” My mother asked. I wanted to lie with every ounce of my body, but I couldn’t do that to my mom. She was my best friend in the world, I couldn’t break her trust.
“Uh on a date with Archie Andrews, we’re going to Pop’s, I promise. No funny business. I’ll get him to walk me home. It’ll be fine mom. I swear. I’m a good girl, you can trust me.” I answered. She looked me up and down before shaking her head.
“No, I’m sorry. It’s not me, it’s your father and he’s in a mood so I will not ask him. Call the boy and tell him no.”
“But mom, Archie’s a good boy.”
“(Y/N) that’s what they all say, then you’re tossed aside when they get in your pants. It’s all guys want.”
“Mom that’s not true, Archie-”
“No if’s, ands or buts. I said no.” I hung my head as she walked back into the living room. As I was climbing up the stairs I got an idea. What if I snuck out through my parents room? Their room was connected to a ladder that ran down the side of the house. I could easily climb down and walk around the back of the house and still get to Pop’s by 7. A smile crossed my face. I was still getting my date with Archie Andrews.
As I got back to my room I decided a dress wasn’t really a great idea when it comes to climbing down the side of a house, so I changed into a blouse and made my way to my parents bedroom. Betsy had noticed but rolled over and continued to sleep. Relieved, I opened the window and threw my purse over my shoulder and made my way out onto the ledge, closing the window from the outside.
When I reached the ground I made my way behind my house and walked towards Pop’s where my boy would be waiting for me.
As I reached Pop’s, I saw a familiar red haired boy in the window. I pulled back the door and stepped inside, walking over to where he was seated.
“Wow, I was starting to believe you wouldn’t show.” He giggled, sending chills through my spine.
“Yeah my parents don’t know i’m here…” I let off, unsure whether I should’ve said that or not.
“You didn’t ask them?” His eyes lit up, full of shock and fear.
“Oh no, I did, they just said no so I snuck out.” As I finished my sentence Archie laughed, earning a two blushed cheeks from me. I couldn’t believe I was actually here sat across from him.
“(Y/N), you there?” He asked.
“Oh yeah i’m sorry I drifted off.” I laughed and Archie reached his hand across the table to hold mine, ever so tiny against his.

“Yes it is a big deal Cal!” You retort loudly, “Its a fucking great deal!”
“(Y/n) come on, let me talk” He sighs, dragging a hand through his hair yet again.
“You kissed another woman!” You exclaim, “So go on then, explain that to me”
You fold your arms and wait for his response. Saying the words aloud made a disgusting sick feeling boil in your stomach. Your boyfriend was kissing another girl. Though he was drunk, out of his mind, it killed you. And after the events of you not coming home last night, he knew something was wrong. So here you were, in the midst of your biggest argument yet.
“Who was she?” You question quietly, the hurt tugging each word from your lips.
“Just some girl, she came over to us in the club with her friends” He shrugs, “She meant nothing”
“What was her name?” You ask, jutting your bottom lip out to stop yourself from getting emotional.
“I dont-” He starts, “Like I said, she meant nothing to me. It was just a drunken mistake” He nods, hopefully.
“You know, you keep saying that she meant nothing” you point out, “But she still meant enough to you to completely jeopardize everything we’ve had for the past two years” You state harshly and see him wince at your words.
“Don’t say it like that” He shakes his head, standing up to your level, “I’m not letting this be the end of us”
“You lost the right to fucking say that okay?” You snap, “When your lips were on hers, you lost that right”
“(Y/n), I kissed a girl after about a thousand drinks and I can’t even remember anything from that night. Honestly, I can’t even picture myself ever, ever doing that without being off my head drunk. But I remember waking up without you beside me and how horribly cold the bed felt. I remember how panicked I was when the guys said you hadn’t come home. How as soon as I saw your face, I felt awful. Not because I remembered anything but because I was terrified that there was something that had happened to make you that hurt. I could see it in your eyes and I hated the thought of someone ever making you that upset and then-“
You cut him off now, “I just-” you stop as a tear slips from your eye, “I really can’t be around you now” You nod.
“Babe-” He starts.
You simply shake your head and grab your bag to leave.
“(Y/n) you two aren’t leaving things like this are you?” Harry sighs, evidently being woken up as soon as the argument began.
“I’m sorry Harry, you can talk to Cal about the reasons for that” You mutter, quickly walking past and leaving the flat as soon as your legs would carry you away.
You had spent the entire day away from the flat today. You needed to clear your mind, take some time to yourself. Though, as darkness fell over London, you knew you had clothes to at least get from the apartment before you planned to stay with Ethan instead for the night.
“Jesus Christ do you not turn on your phone?!” Lux exclaims as you walk in the door and he instantly wraps his arms around you.
“Sorry, I just needed a bit of time” You sigh.
“What’s gonna happen with you two?” He asks, dragging a hand over his hair with evident relief to see you safe.
“I don’t know Cal” You shrug, “It’s just every time I look at him, I see her. I see his lips on hers and his hands on her wais-” You stop, “It’s just, its gonna take a lot”
“No. Its just gonna take time okay?” He nods, “There’s no way in hell you two could ever find anyone as perfect as each other. We look at you, and we see you together, and it just fits you know? Nothing changes that”
“That’s what I thought until last night” you purse your lips, “Thanks for everything Cal”
“Why are you saying this like a goodbye? You’re still living here, we’re still gonna be friends” He frowns. Lux was the type of person that hated the thought of things changing in the group. And the thought of two of his best friends splitting up was something he certainly didn’t want to fathom.
“I meant, just thank you” You sigh, “I’m just gonna grab some clothes”
You head towards your room where the door is closed. You know Cal is on the other side and you know that there’s a sound you didn’t want to hear. He was crying.
“Cal” the word escapes your lips as soon as you push the door open.
“I don’t want to lose you (y/n)” he manages to whisper and the words shoot a dagger to your chest.
You felt awful. You had caused this pain. You’d caused him to cry for the first time since you’d first met him. Here he was sat in your shared bedroom with an empty computer screen, a messy bed and an even messier mind. And you’d imagined if ever in this situation, you’d curl up with him and pizza and Netflix and make him forget all about what made him so emotional.
You swipe a hand over your already filling eyes to stop yourself from falling into the same state as him.
“I can’t lose you” He croaks.
You still can’t respond.
“I thought about what my life would be like without you and it made me feel sick. Because I couldn’t imagine not waking up on a Sunday morning when you don’t have work without you beside me and your hair spread across the pillow and the view of London being our only focus. I couldn’t imagine not going on spontaneous trips with you to the most random places and almost always resorting to Nandos when we got hungry. I couldn’t imagine not calling you my girlfriend. Not having you in my life” He manages to speak, “And if you let me, I’ll spend every single second of the rest of my life making up for last night. And I know its going to be difficult for you to ever forgive me or forget about this but I need you to know that I’ll do everything in my power to prove you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me (y/n) (y/l/n)”
And with a tear falling from your eye, you find yourself staying.
“I have destroyed the pictures in their possession,” Ulaz
says, quietly. Shiro closes his eyes, sucks in a ragged breath. Ulaz is holding
out a thumb drive. “I have checked and double-checked. These are the only
copies that remain.”
