but with bugs instead of demons

i want to emphasise how much i love adventure time for how GROSS it allows its female characters to be we always see finn and jake doing yucky bodily stuff but for once it extends to the other sex! like marceline is this really cool demon vampire queen, described as ‘sexy’ by other characters, who we also see picking her nose (and wiping her snot on the settee), not washing her hands after using the loo, digging bugs out of her belly button, and actually being drawn as the ugly shapeshifting monster she occasionally is instead of being prim and proper all of the time. there’s a muscle princess and a slime princess and raggedy princess and they’re all in-depth characters who independently rule their own kingdoms despite not being ladylike at all bubblegum is a real fucking sociopathic dick half the time who gets way too caught up in her goals and puts literal lives on the line in order to get what she wants it’s just nice to see girls normalised as actual humans for once. or vampires/bubblegum/slime. whatever.

13x01 Coda

Saw a post about if Cas’s coat stayed with him or if Dean took it.

The coat stayed with Cas.

Dean stood there for too long thinking about it too hard. The sheet fell relaxed over the face in front of him, making Cas seem somehow even more gone than Dean was willing to accept. If he took the sheet off, it could have been just Cas asleep.

But angels don’t sleep. They just die.

I haven’t gotten all the details figured out, but I did want to put this out there so everyone will have a taste for the story. Also the title might eventually change, but I’ll notify everyone if it does. It’s mentioned in the shot, but I’ll let you know here that Yugyeom is a nephilim (half angel, half human hybrid) and Bambam is a demon.

Favorite TMNT character by each incarnation? You know, best Leo, best Raph, best Mikey, best Donnie, best Splinter, best April, best Shredder, you get the jizz :)

OOOOoooooh this sounds like fun and it will take me a while haha *cracks knuckles* Lets do it! But to make this easier I’m going to just go off the animated series. So I’ll be comparing the 1987 series, the 2003 series, and the current 2012 series. So without hesitation lets get started.

Leonardo

1987: This version of Leonardo was the charming superhero save the day type. He was always helpful and always wanted to do good things. He also got very carried away with things like readin, playing video games, etc. But he was still a very likable character.
2003: This version of Leonardo was probably the most well-developed so far of the 3 versions. He was very serious and focused on his training but when you see the hell he went through you understand why. Hell he gets a permanent part of his shell removed and he is so dedicated to protecting his family you can’t help but feel for the guy. He was also an extreme badass in combat.
2012: This leonardo is definitely more like an actual teenager than the other 2. He’s a big nerd and loves anime and star trek knock offs. He is a still a badass though (especially in the season 2 finale). Sometimes he can be a bit of a jerk though but its understandable when your brothers don’t listen to you and other times its cause he IS a teenager and acts like it.
Winner: My favorite is definitely the 2003 Leo still, after you see what he goes through and how he overcomes it I cant help but root for him.

Michelangelo (my favorite)

1987: Okay I’m just gonna say it. I friggin love this Mikey. He’s so likable, he’s so funny and HIS FRIGGIN VOICE! I absolutely love Surfer voices. “CHYAH DUDE COWABUNGA” No one can give a battle cry like this Michelangelo. Cowabunga became a household saying when I was a kid at the beach and pool. The only bad thing I can say about this mikey is the fact they took his nunchucks away in later seasons cause they were “too violent” and replaced them with a grappling hook which was lame.
2003: I liked the fact this Mikey was one of the most competent fighters out of all the turtles. He was creative and had a spider-man way of talking so much his enemies could not concentrate…especially Raph. Though he had many negative qualities. Don’t get me wrong I love Mikey but this one would always make corny jokes and references and then brag how he is was a champion in an Inter-dimensional tournament. That got really irritating at times.
2012: Greg Cipes was perfectly cast as Michelangelo. He was born to be him and this Mikey is pretty fun and a likable dude. The only gripe I have with this Mikey is they make him to be a straight out idiot at times, like he needs someone to hold his hand. That is my one gripe with him. Mikey is my fav and I get that he likes to goof around but he should always have a filter of when its right to and when to be serious. They’ve been fixing that through the season so I’m not too worried.
Winner: Come on dudes it goes to the 80s Michelangelo, To me this is the greatest interpretation of Mikey we’ve had so far and GOD I LOVE HIS VOICE. No one can say Cowabunga like him.

Donatello

1987 and 2003: Honestly when I go back and rewatch both series they are pretty similar. Though 1987 Donnie wanted to be excepted by the whole world while 2003 Don didn’t and just cared for making inventions to expand his knowledge and to help his brothers.
2012: This Donnie is very eccentric and excitable and he’s in love with April (eecchhh not a fan of that). He’s always making inventions like the previous 2 but his main focus is to make retro mutagen to stop the Kraang. Honestly some episodes he can get on my nerves but one episode I really loved him in was the Ep he was teaching a vigilante how to use a Bo Staff and how to train for Ninjitsu.

Winner: This is a Tie

Raphael:

1987:
This Raph is waaayyy different than the other 2. He’s still cynical but he’s comedic with it. He’s very similar to Michelangelo and is constantly breaking the 4th wall. He also has some of the best one liners in the series. Even though he’s different from the other 2 I like him and later on in the series they tried to make him more aggressive than the others.
2003: This Raph was like the Wolverine of the series, Always loved to fight and was constantly training. Also he was such a badass and Mikey called him their secret weapon. He also has that tough Brooklyn accent which I loved they gave the 1st Live Action movie one.
2012: This Raph has his ups and his downs to me. On one hand he is one of the strongest fighters and is a great asset to the team. But on the other hand this Raph can just be a straight up jerkish bully sometimes and I hate that. If he’s angry I get it but I don’t like him picking on his bros the way he does. I know he is growing as a character so I can’t fault him too much and he’s becoming more and more likable as the series goes on.

Winner: 2003 Raph because he’s just a badass and he’s a lot like the 1st live action movie raph which was my favorite incarnation of him.

Splinter

1987: This splinter was very wise and had a great voice that fit him. He did seem like an actual martial arts sensei you could have. He just didn’t do much, sure he got into fights every now and then but it was nothing too spectacular.
2003: This splinter had a much deeper story and even had a few arcs of his own which were very entertaining. My problem with him was his voice though. It seemed like he was trying too hard to sound like an Old Martial arts master.
2012: This splinter is just incredible. You can tell he was a badass Martial Arts master and now that he is a rat he incorporates that into his fighting. His voice is awesome and his fight scenes HOLY DAMMIT CHRISTMAS! You see why he is the master of the turtles and his stories can actually be applied to actual life.

Winner: No surprise here the 2012 splinter by a landslide

April O’neil

1987: I’m just going to be blunt, I had the biggest crush on this April as a kid. She was just too frickin sexy in that yellow jumpsuit and those Tig Ol bitties….mmmmm so nice. Though she was kind of a shallow character
2003: The pale one lol I thought she was pretty cool. I liked the fact that she was also a scientist and could match Don in techno babble and intelligence. I also like how she learned martial arts from Splinter to protect herself and became not only intelligent but a warrior…..that pale skin though
2012: The Booty teen haha, unlike the others this one is actually a teenager…..and part mutant…wow. She’s got a likable personality and can defend herself since she’s learning from Splinter. She can come off as whiny sometimes but she always gets the job done…..though she does have some annoying ‘Teenage’ tendencies.

Winner: 200——-I really should give it to her, but I’m shallow and 1987 April is a hottie so that’s my personal favorite haha

Shredder

1987: This shredder was only intimidating in the first 5 episodes of the show then he became a joke. And just a typical whiner of an 80s villain. It’s kind of pathetic really. Don’t get me wrong I loved James Avery’s voice but the character was too much of a wimp to be taking seriously.
2003: THE FIRST VERSION, which I guess is the Utrom one…Not the Demon one or Karai. I’ll say this. THIS SHREDDER HAD THE BEST GODDAMN DESIGN OUT OF ANY SHREDDER’s in History for his first few appearances

before we found out he was an alien. To me that took away some of the badassness of this shredder cause its kind of like. Oh I’m really good at video games so Im kicking your ass instead of training. That bugged me but the design was incredible.
2012: This version of Shredder took what I loved about the 2003 shredder and keeps it grounded. He is a lethal martial artist who was like a brother to splinter but then turned to the dark side. He even stole his daughter, that’s just cold. His suit looks meh to me though

Winner: 2012 Shredder with 2003’s armor now that would be incredible.

You know what bugs me

Greed island was made out to be this badass game. Unattainable. Unheard of. It’s a game that can KILL YOU. This game sells for billions of dollars.

And yet, and yet

Inside the game you imagine violence and war and demons and monsters and villains and just every level of hxh hell

Instead you get rock paper scissors, dodge ball, some kind of yugioh spinoff, and the jackass known as the bomber

*bangs fists on table*

Basically, I wasn’t expecting it at all after just coming off the yorknew arc.

Since I saw your Thoughts on all 4 turtles from the 1987, 2003, and 2012 shows what are you thoughts on Splinter, April, Casey and Shredder now?

Aight lets do it

She can come off as whiny sometimes but she always gets the job done…..though she does have some annoying ‘Teenage’ tendencies. also she’s got powers

Winner: 200——-I really should give it to her, but I’m shallow and 1987 April is a hottie so that’s my personal favorite haha

Casey Jones

1987: This one is a Massive Psychopath with a fetish for Breaking things and never once takes off his mask. He’s literally insane haha

2003: This one is much more tame, still has an anger issue but he’s in his right since the Purple Dragons burned down his shop. Unknowingly to him he was trained by the turtles when he was a kid getting bullied and he grew up to be a buff badass vigilante. He has an Arc and a story and he’s a likeable dude

2012: This ones a Teenager like April so he acts like it at times. The only thing I do not buy about this Casey is he’s this scrawny Hockey playing kid missing teeth and he’s fighting on par with Cyber Ninjas and Alien Robots and Buff Street thugs. Not saying he couldn’t learn but its just a shocker to me seeing him fight and beat all these foes who should outclass him haha

Winner: 2003 Casey cause he reminded me a lot of the 1st live action movie Casey haha

Shredder

1987: This shredder was only intimidating in the first 5 episodes of the show then he became a joke. And just a typical whiner of an 80s villain. It’s kind of pathetic really. Don’t get me wrong I loved James Avery’s voice but the character was too much of a wimp to be taking seriously.

2012: This version of Shredder IS A BEAST just a straight up BEAST! He took what I loved about the 2003 shredder and keeps it grounded. He is a lethal martial artist who was like a brother to splinter but then turned to the dark side. He even stole his daughter, that’s just cold. GODDAMN he will fight every single Muhfugga and kick their asses by himself if he has to, SO FRICKIN BADASS!  His suit looks meh to me though

Winner: 2012 Shredder with 2003’s armor now that would be incredible.

Okay so I got this idea from that alternate universe request. What if they go into another universe but instead of themselves being extremely fluffy with each other, they're flirty. Like Marco's parents.

Here you go! The italics is the other dimension and the normal type is regular tomco! Enjoy!

——————————————————————————————-

“I’m looking for the demon known as Tom.” Marco smiled cutely. And Tom laughed.

“Well I don’t even know a Tom, whoever he is I think you can do a lot better. Maybe you and I should go out for a cup of coffee.” Tom teased. Marco snickered.

“I’ll stick to my fire hazard love-bug, thank you very much, sir.” Marco played along.

“What are they doing?” Marco asked. Tom face plamed.

“Flirting.” He responded. They watched their alternate universe selves through Star’s mirror. “Oh my god look at them… why are they so much cuter than us?” Tom asked. “Like how come we don’t do cute banter like that?”

“I don’t know!” Marco cried. “We’re always so shy around each other. They’re acting unphased…. And hold on. Is alternate universe Marco taller than me?” Marco asked. Tom bit his lip and looked between the two. “Tom?”

“Um… maybe… a little bit?” Tom admitted. Marco threw his arms in the air.

“I knew it!”

Tom and Marco walked along the sidewalk, stepping around each other like they were dancing while walking. A few steps later Tom purposely tripped Marco so he could french dip him in the parking lot of Walmart. Marco looked up and giggled.

“You did that on purpose!” He laughed. Tom shrugged, he leaned down and pecked Marco on the lips.

“Maybe.” Tom teased. He pulled marco up, and spun him around.

Marco groaned. “Oh my gosh! They’re so cute I’m going to be sick!” Marco huffed. Tom watched them closer.

“Did parallel me just french dip you in a parking lot? That’s smooth.” Tom gave himself credit. Marco shoved him.

“It’s not smooth! It’s tacky. Parallel you is tacky, Tom.” Marco crossed his arms. “And parallel me is better looking than I am. Why is he so much more attractive than me?” Marco asked. He looked over at Tom; who avoided eye contact.

“He’s not-”

“Tell me the truth, Tom.” Marco demanded. Tom fidgeted nervously. “Is he better looking than me?”

“No.”

“Liar!”

“Marco, you look amazing today.” Tom told his boyfriend. Marco smiled brightly and looked down at his hoodie and skirt.

“Thanks, Tom!” He smiled. “You’re so sweet.”

“Okay now they’re just being extra.” Marco huffed. Tom nodded in agreement.

“Alternate you doesn’t even look that sharp if I’m being honest.” Tom admitted. “Both of them look slightly different and it’s giving me anxiety.” Tom explained.

“Yeah… what’s up with alternat Tom’s eyes? It’s got the spikes going down… but a lot longer than your’s. It’s too much.” Marco shook his head. “I don’t like these guys. I don’t like them at all.” Marco admitted.

“Me neither, nobody is THAT comfortable with another person. That’s not real. That’s fairytale bullshit and I don’t buy it.” Tom agreed. Marco nodded.

“Exactly! I mean… I love you and am comfortable around you, but there is still so much stuff I’m nervous about.” Marco explained.

“You just can’t totally get rid of your insecurities. Nobody can.” Tom added. “These guys aren’t real. What teenage relationship is like this?”

Tom held Marco’s hand and they talked for a while. “You know, I’m so happy that you said yes.” Tom smiled. Marco tilted his head and smiled.

“Why would I not? I loved you ever since we were kids, Tom.” Marco told him.

“Remember how nervous we used to be around each other?” Tom asked. Marco laughed again.

“I remember.”

Tom and Marco stopped. “Did he say ‘since we were kids’?” Marco asked. Tom nodded.

“Yeah I think he did.” Tom responded. “Marco look… I think they’re both wearing wedding rings.” Tom added. Marco clapped a hand over his mouth.

“Oh my god they’re married! Tom, this is a future dimension. This makes so much more sense!” Marco fell back off his chair and Tom started laughing hysterically.

“No wonder they’re so comfortable around each other I thought they were just weird!” Tom cried. He sighed in relief though. “Thank goodness I thought we were just doing something wrong!” Tom cried. Marco nodded.

“Me too! I thought that this was just… wait… does this mean that one day… me and you?” Marco blushed. “Are like… gonna get married?” Marco asked. Tom fell out of his chair in shock.

“There are a lot of dimensions… maybe let’s just… see how this one plays out.”

but why....why trump...i did not subscribe to this blog to be assulted by demonic images

Dawg this is a blog that includes syphilitic and scorbutic lesions.

That said, I find that Trump provides a helpful guideline for life:

Never Touch Anything That Looks Like Donald Trump’s Hair

That article also has a helpful tip for caterpillar stings that I left out: Swear. A lot.

And it’s an apparently legitimate suggestion! Though, any exclamatory remark has been shown to help, if you prefer to scream “SPELUNKING HEFFALUMPS” instead. ;D

It Was Something

Summary: /Stydia/ In which everyone on the show starts to notice the connection between Stiles and Lydia.

Author’s Note: So this is my first fanfic ever basically so no hate please. This is what would happen on the show between Stiles and Lydia in a perfect world basically. I tried to avoid out of character cheesy stuff cause that’s not like they’re relationship at all so hopefully I did it justice. Not trying to imply any Scallison really but hey use your imagination if you want.
_____________________________________________________________________

Things had been oddly calm after they defeated the nogitsuné. It left everyone on edge for a while. Not that they minded having a break or anything, but when was the last time the next calc test was the biggest of their worries?

That is, until, something even stranger than shape shifting teenagers and demonic bugs plaguing the town catches everyone’s attention. Everyone’s attention aside from Lydia and Stiles themselves.

Maybe it was because everyone could finally look at what was in front of them instead of having to figure out their next attack plans. Everyone knew that Lydia and Stiles had become close after everything that happened, but they never really saw just how close. Everyone knew about the multiple occasions in which Lydia’s banshee powers magically led her to Stiles, but this was something different.

It was just little things people began to notice. The way they sometimes mirrored each other’s movements. Lydia had taken to Stiles’s tendency to spastically throwing his hands up in defeat whenever someone wouldn’t listen and Stiles had taken to Lydia’s tendency to roll her eyes and lock her lips in frustration. Sometimes they would even give Coach an identical, incredulous stink eye at the same time whenever he said… Well just about anything.

Then there was the way that their new tendency to touch became so casual. Stiles would talk with Lydia at her locker, and hold her numerous textbooks for her when she began to struggle. The way she was always fixing the hems of his sleeves when they were uneven. The way one of them would gently place their hand over the other’s when they worried over something, and Scott could literally feel and hear the rapid, anxiousness of their pulse begin to go down. The way she would momentarily grasp his hand or he would place his in the middle of her back and lead one another outside when the fire alarm went off. Sitting at the lunch table, Stiles would reach over and brush a stray piece of hair away from her face like it was the most natural thing in the world, and she would say thank you without so much as a blink. Scott and Allison would share looks. Allison would cock her head and Scott would raise an eyebrow. Nobody needed to exchange words to be able to tell what everyone was thinking about it.

He would stop by her chair in the library, leaning over her so she would have to crane her neck only slightly to look up at his face next to hers, and ask her if she needed a ride home. The way his body loomed over hers wasn’t intentional, it just seemed like a natural way their body’s began to move in sync; his arms bracing both sides of her and the way she sort of shrunk herself inward toward him. The way she didn’t even flinch when his voice spoke oh so close to her ear to keep quiet amongst the studying students. They way she would just say, “Sure,” and he would nod and leave like it was no big deal, as opposed to how the whole scene may have panned out one year ago. Allison would look up across the table and notice these things.

It was the way that Scott noticed how Stiles and Lydia texting, for no reason, became a regular occurrence. Or the way that when everyone thought something was going down, the two of them would show up together, a plan already in mind. The way that Lydia began to sit in the empty seat next to Stiles instead of Allison when they would all go out to eat. The way that their after school studying session became a weekly thing.

It was nothing cutesy, like a new couple in love, giggling and whispering sweet nothings in each other’s ears keeping it a secret from everyone else. It was something deeper, more serious. It was this apparent connection. Like they were tied by a string to one another. Whenever the string felt like it was going to snap they would tie each other down, and the string grew stronger over time, after everything they went through.

It wasn’t much, but it was something.

I went off on a rant when I came across this post on my dash and I decided to just make my own post about it to not commandeer the reblog:

To anyone wanting to derail conversations about Dean’s offense in the last scene by arguing this– the discussion of “did the people Dean massacred deserve to die or not” is kind of missing a huge point of that scene. Sam was rightfully horrified that Dean painted that room red with human blood (definitely partly because omg human life at what cost?? but also…) mostly because of the effect doing that is going to have on Dean.

Even if the really jacked-up logic that the people he murdered ~deserved it held up, that still would have NO pull one way or another on whether or not what Dean did was still terrible, because murdering people takes a toll on the killer, too, one way or another. Especially if that killer is a Mark-wearing murder-addict.

What Dean did fed the Mark in a way overkilling monsters has not. This bloodied Dean’s hands in a way it hasn’t been ever before. He killed people, just regular people. Not people who were possessed by angels or demons or had turned into some sort of monster (and I won’t get into the whole vessels issue bc that bugs me a lot too, but I’m just going with in-universe Winchester logic right now to make this point). He killed just weird, awful, regular people, something the Winchesters have tried to avoid, so much to the degree that in s2, even when Gordon was trying to kill Sam, Sam still opted to get him trapped by the police instead.

And most recently, in Thinman, Sam comments on the fact that Dean killed human beings, even though they were the reason tulpas were killing people all over the nation, because they didn’t have to kill them. Sam says “are we good here?” to see where Dean is at and Dean’s headspace isn’t even considering what he’s done as too drastic, which is why Sam then points out they were just people. The moment Dean chooses to stab that man was dramatic because it’s a supposed to be a ~drastic change. Killing people is something that bothers them. This isn’t what they do. Because making a choice to kill PEOPLE is a new step in a bad direction for Dean. It’s what lead him to the ~dictatorship of s9, jonesin’ for that Blade with his entire being and becoming destructive to all those around him, including himself.

So okay fine, try to sell that those people deserved to die, okay that’s shitty but let’s go with it… but why should that minimize any of the horror Sam felt at knowing his brother was capable of this (especially after he swore he had it under control) and what this means for Dean going forward from here?

Why aren’t Dean fans more horrified by what this means for their favorite character?

Even if these Dean stans don’t value human life enough to actually believe these men deserved to die, why are they cheering Dean on in the midst of one of the most horrific and spectacular relapses I’ve seen on recent TV?? I would be really worried and really upset if I were them, not patting him on the back.

This wasn’t heroism, it was an addict going on a binge.
