Bloodcurdling screams filled the dimly lit room he was stood in, echoing out all around, it was hard to pinpoint where the screams were coming from but he knew all too well who they were coming from…..you.

“BUCKY! BUCKY PLEASE!”

Your desperate cries for him stung him like a knife to the chest as he desperately tried to get even within arm’s reach of you but hydra agent after hydra agent stopped him from doing so.

“Bucky it hurts! It hurts so much!”

Hysterical sobbing filled the room just as you somehow came into his view and your bloodied and battered form made him feel sick to the stomach. He tried to fight them off but it was a futile attempt as two men gripped onto his arms tight.

“Shock her.”

“NO! LEAVE HER ALONE!”

His words were met by deaf ears as one of the men in the room flicked a switch and your body contorted into shapes that didn’t even look physically possible. The pain coursing through you was too great to even scream as they hit you with shock, after shock, after shock until your body could take no more.

The brunette’s body tossed and turned in his bed, sheets tangling around his legs, as his face contorted into looks of both horror and upset. He wanted to wake up, make sure you were okay, but his own mind was refusing him the permission to do so.

Winter Shadow - chapter 10

Masterlist

Not the final chapter, as it turns out, because i’m just too poorly to write for more than an hour (please play your tiny violins in sympathy for my self pity).

So here’s the probably penultimate chapter. Would it help if I said sorry…?

The two Avengers made their way through the building, enjoying the heat outside the air-conditioned building, both squinting into the sun. It wasn’t long before a car pulled up, and the person they had been waiting for emerged.

“Ms Maximoff,” Natasha said, nodding and smiling, not knowing the other woman well. Steve was more familiar with her, drawing her into a hug, his words almost lost in her hair.  “Thank you for coming.”

She stepped back, and they all entered the building, the air-con prickling their skin in contrast to the heat outside.

“I’m happy to be here Cap, but like I said, I can’t promise anything. I’m not a magician, I can’t wave a wand and make things OK.” She paused as she realised his face had dropped.  “Sorry, that was harsh. I’m jet lagged and have no filters. I’ll try anything and everything, you know I will.”

“Okay,” You chuckled, pulling away. “You don’t really seem to enjoy it. What’s on your mind?”

Your voice startled him, he tilted his head to look at you. You smiled down at him with a playful look on your face.

“What?” He asked with furrowed brows.

“I said, you don’t seem to be very interested in what I’m doing.”

He took a deep breath and released it forcefully. His large, surprisingly soft hands, running up and down your sides.

“Sorry, sweetheart.” He winced, looking up at you. “I just had the weirdest conversation with Wanda the other day. I think she was hitting on me.”

A/N - <3

“So you can control space and stuff? I can’t decided if that’s cool or not”, Pietro asked softly still trying to come to terms with the new enhanced he was meeting. His twin sister, Wanda, slapped him gently on the arm disapprovingly. “I think what Pietro meant to say was that is very unique, we’ve never met anyone like you”. Their accents were very comforting, as was their friendliness or at least that’s what you perceived it as.

You were extremely tired as you’d just got back off of your first mission, it was the first time the twins had been able to speak to you so naturally they were curious, of course they’d saw you around the compound, but they were determined to get to know you more.

“It’s okay haha, and yes I kinda can and I kind of can’t. It’s…complicated”, you grinned but the smile didn’t quite reach your eyes, “It’s like this”. You raised your hand and wiggled your fingers. First, to demonstrate, you pulled a bottle towards yourself, “I can do stuff like that, but I can also do stuff like this”, then you created a little portal and sent the bottle through it. Instantly another portal appeared and the bottle fell through it.

So a little while back someone asked me to write a fic about the IW scarlet vision scenes. I’ve been pretty busy but it seems like there’s no better day to write this than Scarlet Vision Appreciation day. So here it is! Enjoy!

Wanda glanced nervously at the clock, the bubble of anticipation in her chest too strong to ignore. She stood suddenly, unable to sit placidly on the edge of the hotel bed any longer. She made her way to the window, pulling the curtain back just the smallest bit to peer down into the cobbled streets of Edinburgh.

He should’ve been here by now. She cast another look at the clock, a frown line setting itself between her eyebrows.

It had been weeks since they’d last been able to see each other and she always grew anxious when they were apart for too long.

The gentlest of knocks sounded on the door and Wanda felt her heart skip a beat. She was across the room without even realizing it, her hand hovered over the doorknob for just a moment before settling firmly on the cool bronze.

A man she had never seen before stood on the other side of the door and she felt her sudden burst of hope fade; leaving a hollow ache where it had been.

“I’m sorry, can I help you?” She asked, confusion coloring her tone. The man looked down at her, meeting her eyes with his own startling blue ones.

“Wanda..” He hesitated, unsure how to continue, but there was no need. Wanda felt her mouth drop open in a comical O of surprise. She would know that voice anywhere.

“V-Vision?”

The man in the doorway gave her a small, awkward smile. One she recognized instantly. For a long moment she stood paralyzed, mind running through the possibilities. How could this be?

“May I come in?” The man….no, Vision, asked. Concern etched itself in the lines of his face. Quite a handsome face actually.

Wanda started, realizing her rudeness and stepped aside to let him in. She closed the door softly, mind still reeling. She cast another look at Vision, taking in his full form, part of her still unable to believe this man could be the android she loved.

He removed his coat, draping it over the nearest chair. He worked slowly, as though giving her time to process what was happening. Wanda moved away from the door, taking a stance by the window, as far from this stranger as possible.

Finally, Vision turned to meet her gaze. Their eyes locked and Wanda felt the bubble of hope begin to crawl its way back into her chest.

His eyes. They might be blue now, instead of grey, but the expression within them was still the same. They were eyes haunted with the endless knowledge that their owner seemed to possess. Eyes that, when they looked at her, seemed to soften into gentle contemplation; as though she were the greatest, most tantalizing mystery they had ever beheld. Eyes that held her in their grip as though she was the only thing in the universe worth looking at.

“I did not intent to startle you with my appearance.” He began, never breaking his gaze. “It is a precaution initiated only recently.”

“Precaution?” Wanda questioned, still unnerved by the sound of Visions voice coming from this unfamiliar form. Vision took a hesitant couple stepped toward her, closing the distance between them, careful not to overstep her comfort zone.

“Thor has returned to Earth with some…unsettling news. It would appear that there are those who seek the Mind Stone and other stones like it in order to harness their power to claim dominion on this universe.”

Wanda felt her eyes automatically travel to Visions forehead, but the stone was not visible on this human form. Vision noticed her gaze and took another step forward.

“It is me, Wanda.” He said softly, blue eyes filled with the urgent desire to have her believe. If this really was Vision, and she was beginning to truly believe it was, then he could stand the distance between them no more than she.

Wanda took a step toward him, unable to fight the urge to have him near any longer. Vision took this as encouragement and gradually closed the distance between them.

“Both Mr. Stark and Thor agreed the stone is no longer safe. I learned that, as long as I focus my concentration, I am able to project this illusion over my true form. Neither Tony nor Thor believed it wise that I leave headquarters, but I could not stay away. I’ve missed you, Wanda.”

He took another step closer, gazing down on her with a tenderness that filled her heart with a love beyond expression. Finally, she truly believed him.

“Oh Viz,” She whispered affectionately, reaching up to cup his face between her palms.

Vision closed his eyes at her touch, letting his hand slide up her arm to hold her hand in place against his cheek. He turned his head tenderly to plant a gentle kiss upon her palm. Then just as gently he brought her hand up to rest on his forehead.

Wanda could feel it, the soft hum of the stone. Beneath this human appearance, was her Vision. She pulled her hand away, bending her fingers in an intricate pattern until a fine red mist danced its way across his face, pulling his true appearance forward.

There the stone sat, its yellow glow imbedded in the rich purple tones of his skin. She laid her finger lightly against the stone and watched it melt away at her touch, returning Visions appearance to that of a human man.

She allowed her hand to fall back, cupping his neck for a long moment.

“How long can you stay?” She asked quietly, afraid of the answer she knew must come.

“No more than the night.” He answered just as softly, his eyes sliding slowly over her face, rememorizing each curve. “While this appearance allows me some freedom, it is not enough to guarantee I will be not be found.” This time it was he who reach up to cup her cheek with his hand. “It is already extraordinarily selfish of me to put you at risk, even for this brief moment.”

Wanda slide her hand up his arm, curling her fingers lightly around his wrist so that he would not withdraw his touch.

“I do not care about the risk.” She said boldly, scanning his face just as longingly. “I love you, Vision.”

“And I love you.” He answered, bringing his lips down to cover hers.

Wanda closed her eyes, allowing herself to sink into the kiss, letting the heat to rise within her, stretching out into the very tips of her fingers. His lips moved firm against her own and she wished the moment would never end.

But end it did, as Vision pulled back the smallest bit, gazing down on her with a light smile upon his lips.

“Just to be clear,” Wanda said, “I’ll always prefer your true appearance.”

Vision laughed, bending forward to capture her mouth in another kiss. There was much they still had to discuss, but such things could wait a few moments longer.

I Wish I Could Hate You (Pietro x Reader) Part 16/?

Imagine being friends with the twins before they volunteered for the experiments and then being shocked when you join the Avengers and encounter them at the Hydra base in Sokovia.

This is an idea that hit me randomly honestly.  I used an original character instead of reader though.

Humans and Monsters: One

Wanda Maximoff has learned what it’s like to be the monster, the one everyone hates. Bucky Barnes has lived with being a monster for over 70 years. Wanda can’t help the draw she feels to the Winter Soldier, and she is hopeful he will let her in, giving her the chance to make him feel human again. And maybe she can, too …

Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Wanda Maximoff (WinterWitch)

This fic will follow the Cinematic Marvel Universe and is a mature rating. Do not continue past this point if you have not seen Captain America: Civil War or are not okay with descriptive sex to come later.

One

HYDRA Base, Sokovia

There were always guards—everywhere. The floors were cold, and her skin always colder. Wanda Maximoff drew her legs to her chest, the buzzing she’d felt like a constant headache was slowly starting to dull after days of endurance. The power—her new power—circled within her veins.

It drove her mad, to sit in a room that felt so much like a cell, alone as she listened to her brother beat himself raw against his own four prison walls. She’d called to him, tried to comfort him, but in reply to her attempts he’d only spit one word through his dry lips: “Fast.”

Wanda cursed beneath her breath. Her body had begun to adjust quite well to her new improvements, though her brother still needed time. That’s what she’d been told, anyhow. She was always assured he’d be fine—better than fine, he’d be powerful.

Two men came to her room. Keys jingled and the lock clanked open, the metal speaking harshly in the silence. Wanda looked over the guards with hesitance, her eyes—sunken with a need for sleep—narrowed slightly. “You’ve been given the opportunity to use the showers, if you so wish.” One spoke through the glass wall, his tone flat. The glass wall that looked into a lab full of busy men in white coats was her only window into a world beyond her small room. For days, she’d watch the bodies that passed by the glass and, sometimes, they’d watch her.

Wanda stood, her knees and ankles popping under the pressure of her weight. She’d spent most of her time curled upon her cot, shaking between the covers with a cold sweat that soaked through the flimsy gown they’d provided. Her hair fell around her shoulders in tangled tresses, and she could feel how dry her lips had become when she moved them to speak. “And my brother?”

“He is not stable enough for release. Just you.” Said the guard.

Wanda curled her fingers into her palm and felt a slight tingle in her finger tips. With a slow breath, she willed her powers to calm. She turned to the guard and gave a curt nod. The men opened the heavy door that enclosed her, and Wanda took slow steps across    the icy floor surface. “I’d like to see him, just for a moment,” She said softly as the men shut the door behind her and turned to set off in another direction. They exchanged a glance and followed closely as she walked to face her brother behind his glass wall.

On his cot, Pietro shook in his sleep and clutched the thin mattress, his knuckles white. Wanda put her palm to the glass, her lips parting. “Pietro, brother,” Her voice cracked, tears suddenly burning her eyes and threatening to fall. For the first time in days, Wanda saw her twin and his condition. Though his muscles had grown, his face needed a shave and his once rich brown hair had begun to fade into a shiny silver.

“I can assure you, Miss Maximoff, he is fine.” The same guard spoke up, drawing her attention. “Come—showers must be quick.”

Wanda tore herself away from her brother’s room and followed the guards. They led her down an empty hall, one at her front and the other trailing behind, the lighting harshly illuminating their path. Wanda’s eyes adjusted and she observed her surroundings. Doors aligned her way, each shut and no sounds to be heard. “What are in these rooms?” She asked, keeping her voice low.

“Rooms for those that work here.” The guard that did the speaking answered, not bothering to look back at her.

Wanda didn’t reply. She kept her fists curled tight at her sides, too aware of the loud footsteps behind her. The guard’s boots nearly clipped her heals, and she refrained from snapping. They were being generous in allowing her to shower, and though she felt guilty Pietro was still confined to his small room, she greatly longed for her skin to be clean once again.

“No more than ten minutes, understood?” said the guard, stopping when they came to the entrance to the shower hall. Beside them, a shelf was nailed into the wall with several clean towels stacked and ready for use. The guard grabbed one towel and a small bar of generic soap, “The water will shut off when your time is up.” He handed Wanda her shower materials and added, “There are two entrances to the shower hall—this one, and one at the other end of the hall. There will be guards at both. We are to wait here until you’re done.”

“And clean clothes? I’ve been in this gown for days now.” Wanda asked, her voice sharp.

“I apologize, Miss Maximoff, but there are no other clean gowns at the moment. You will have to do with the one you have.”

“Bastards,” She grumbled in a tone so soft only she could hear.

Wanda pushed through a set of double doors like that of ones she’d see in a hospital. The shower hall was lit by the same obnoxious bulbs from the hall. Her nostrils burned with the scent of soap and moldy shower tiles. Wanda looked to her sides, narrow shower stalls travelled either direction with a single entry curtain for privacy.

The towel hanging at the crook of her elbow and the bar of soap sticky in her palm, Wanda passed several shower stalls until she found one that looked remotely clean. She checked her surroundings once more before stepping into the narrow space and yanking the curtain closed. She stripped herself of her flimsy gown, and touched the parts of her abdomen that used to be healthy with muscle. Wanda ran her fingers over the bones at her hips and quickly turned around to turn the water on and forget how thin and fragile she felt. She would not break—not now.

When the water hit her skin, Wanda’s eyes fluttered shut and a sigh escaped her. The steam rolled off her skin and sent waves of pleasure across her body. The water worked across her scalp and through the knots in her long hair. She watched the grime melt off until her skin flushed with a fresh warm pink. That wasn’t enough, not yet. She grabbed her bar of soap and scrubbed at her body until she felt raw and her hand hurt from gripping the soap too hard.

Wanda jolted when the soap slipped from her hand and hit the shower floor with a loud thud, echoing in the shower hall’s eerie stillness. A sharp gasped caught in her throat, and she put out a hand against the wall to steady her on her feet. She cursed herself for being so jittery.

With eyes locked on the bar of soap in the corner of the shower, Wanda lifted her fingers. A red glow sizzled between her digits and she slowed her breathing to concentrate. By her own will, the soap levitated up to her free hand like she hadn’t even tried. Wanda grew a small smile.

A sudden noise shot through the shower hall—the harsh scraping of metal on metal. Wanda’s eyes rounded and she turned sharply towards the shower curtain. A part of her wanted to speak, ask who was there—but she remained still. It had sounded like another shower curtain being pulled open, or shut. Obviously, whoever had entered the shower hall had made it through the guards. Perhaps someone that lived in a room down the hall, Wanda rationalized her situation with a slight nod of her head.

Only a few short moments later, before Wanda had finished rinsing the remaining soap from her hair, she heard the sound of a voice.

“Fuck …”

Wanda heard the word clearly, confirming her suspicions the voice was that of a male’s. “Bastards,” She mumbled, harboring a new irritation for the guards that had fed her false promises of privacy while showering. She’d not be alone in a shower hall with an unknown male. Especially a male that worked with HYDRA, no matter the circumstance.

As quiet as she could be, Wanda shut the water off and toweled off her cooling body with haste. Goosebumps prickled her arms and legs, and she longed for more time under the heat of the water. She’d pulled her dirty gown down from the curtain rod and slid one hand through the arm hole when her shower stall was unexpectedly invaded.

Wanda shrieked as the shower curtain was jerked open so roughly she thought it might have been ripped. Within seconds, her power pulsed and erupted in its red glow around her hands. She lifted an arm to defend herself, sparks tingling beneath her fingernails. Before she could strike, the invader had her throat locked in a firm grip within his hand.

Wanda struggled for her breath, raising her eyes to meet her captor. With urgency, she clawed at the strong hand wrapped around her neck. He didn’t speak, his strength doing all the talking. Wanda let out a huff in plead for her release. Cautiously, the man retracted his hand. “They told me I’d be alone.” His voice was smooth and low.

Wanda looked the man over. She didn’t recognize him, but she hadn’t really seen many faces during her stay behind the glass wall. The man was tall, with dark hair that fell past his jaw and shadowed his face. It was almost impossible to see what color his eyes were, but from as much as she could gather at her distance, they were a shade of blue. When Wanda let her eyes fall farther down the man’s form, she came to realize the lack of clothing he wore and held her gown closer to her body in attempt to cover herself from the stranger.

With a bit of hesitation, Wanda’s gaze fell over one of the man’s arm. It was completely made of metal, shining in the room’s light and making her feel less powerful than she had hoped she was. Who was he? Wanda noticed the dark stains that covered his chest and arms, even parts of his face. Blood, she thought.

Wanda’s eyes narrowed sharply. Through her lashes, her pupils grew small and the natural color that decorated her irises bled to red. “You—”

“Miss Maximoff!” Wanda’s two designated guards rushed into the shower hall, armed with guns and ugly expressions across their faces. “Soldier!” One shouted at the man standing in front of Wanda with nothing but a towel around his waist. “Soldier, stand down.”

Wanda looked from the guards to the man only inches from her. The soldier. He looked down, his jaw tense and fists firm at his sides.

“Back away from the woman, soldier.” Commanded the guard. Silently, he moved back from Wanda and remained looking down at his bare feet. The guard turned to Wanda, “Miss Maximoff,” He said, “Are you alright?”

Wanda’s hand absently drifted up and rubbed gingerly at her neck. “I’m—I’m fine.” She stared at the soldier, finding herself curious.

“You get five more minutes to shower, soldier.” The guard snapped, “Make it fast.” He turned to Wanda once again, “Follow us once you are done dressing, Miss Maximoff. We apologize for this inconvenience.” They two guards walked to the entrance and stood waiting.

Wanda closed her shower curtain, slipped on her gown, and made her way towards the guards to be escorted back to her room. As she walked, she turned to look back at the soldier—but he was gone. She heard another shower running and wondered what had caused the guards to pursue the man with such precaution.

“Who is he?” Wanda asked as she followed aimlessly behind the guards.

A guard replied, “One of the most powerful weapons we have.”

CHAPTER TW: Weight Issues, Low self-esteem, Swearing

Part 1 Part 2

3: “As I’ll Ever Be.”

“Nikki, this is so kind of you, and I really appreciate it,” you chewed your bottom lip, trying to find the right words to say, without hurting the stylists feelings. “But-“

“You don’t like it, right?” she nodded towards the outfit, and you meekly nodded in return. “You’re right to, there’s just something that looks off isn’t there?,” she bit her nails in thought, “Well this is all I’ve bought with me, so it looks like we’re going to HAVE to go shopping!” she turned around to her team of unbelievably good looking women, “Girls, take a break, get a coffee or something. We’ve got some shopping to do!” she giggled like a schoolgirl before practically pulling your arm out of it’s socket, dragging you out the door

Your feet hurt from walking, your arms were weak from carrying the ags full of clothes, shoes and whatever else Nikki had decided to treat you with. You bundled into your room and slumped down on the bed, the only thing you had on your mind was a nap.

“Hey Sleeping Beauty, get your ass up, you’ve got to go get all pretty and shit” you were rudely awoken with a vigorous shake from the one and only Natasha Romanoff.

“Ok, I’m up, I’m up. What are you doing here?” you asked, trying to stifle a yawn

“Well, I’m here for a free mani-pedi, obviously. And to get you to the hair stylist, you’ve got to take care of that mane some time.” She laughed as you put on your very best, I’m shocked and appalled face.

“What’s wrong with my hair?” you laughed

“When did you last have it in anything apart from a bun Y/L/N?” she raised her eyebrow at you.

“I don’t remember…” you trailed off, looking at the floor.

“Well, then that’s exactly what’s wrong with it.” She smiled at her own joke, “Now, I don’t want to see you until you’ve been all dolled up” At that, she was up and getting the nail technicians attention.

The stylist waltzed into your room with all the equipment that she needed, and sat you down on her chair.

“So?” you asked the lady as she was running her fingers through your hair, scrutinising the ends with microscopic precision.

“Oh no no no, you’re not allowed to know. I’ve been told you’re not allowed to even get a peek until we’re all done with hair and make up” you sighed, this was Tony’s doing, and you knew it.

After around 3 hours of primping, polishing and styling, you were about to go and get your outfit on. You walked to the closet where Nikki was making the final touches to your outfit. You looked at it nervously.

“Don’t worry, it’ll look amazing. Here, go put these on.” She threw all sorts of under-garments at you, bras, panties, even stocking and suspenders. You held up a corset and wondered what the hell it was for, you gave her a quizzical look, “It sucks everything in, trust me. You’d look amazing anyway, but this, this is what seals the deal. Just in case you had your eye on anyone special” She winked and you turned a light shade of red. “Now, go and get dressed, you don’t have long” She hurried you into the bathroom where you proceeded to dress in the undergarments you’d been given. As you were about to leave, you caught a glimpse of yourself in the mirror for the first time and didn’t recognise the person staring back at you.

Your once straight Y/H/C, lack lustre locks were now healthy curls of deep red that hung just below your shoulders, your feathery fringe stopped just above your now perfectly groomed eyebrows. A blended, soft brown shadow was sitting in the crease of your eye and an inky black flick was on your eyelid, your eyelashes were thick and wispy, you blinked, fluttering them, making you aware of your lack of them up to this point. The lashes tickled your cheek and that made you laugh, causing your attention to change from your eyes to your lips. They looked soft and plump, covered with a deep blue-red lipstick and lip liner that made your teeth look whiter than they were before. Your face had been sculpted nicely, with a shimmery highlight bringing out your cheekbones. You felt amazing in the sexy lingerie that had been picked out for you, and turned your attention to the dress that had been picked out for you. You stepped into the dress and pulled it over your hips, the black velvet hugging you like it was made for you. The deep V in the front accentuated your ample cleavage and the way material ruched across your abdomen and down made it even more flattering, as it hid anything that you were self-conscious about, but showed off your hourglass figure, that you didn’t even know you had, perfectly. The black heels with the red bottoms that you had fallen in love with fit you like a glove and made your tanned legs look positively divine. You added your accessories, added your new perfume and with a satisfied smile, you stepped out of the bathroom into the bedroom. With your head held high and your shoulders back, you were finally ready to face the room full of expectant professionals.

You felt a wave of self-confidence wash over you as you posed for them, you smiled and laughed as they cheered and wolf whistled you. A small blush appeared on your face and you thanked them all. Without them, you wouldn’t feel anything close to how you felt right now. You felt beautiful, and that was such a rare occurrence for you, that you were so very grateful to everyone who had helped you get there. As soon as Natasha and Wanda had heard the commotion, they had practically sprinted to see your ‘Transformation’ as they were calling it. They stopped dead at the door and both of their mouths were hung open, at a loss for words.

“Well, what do you think?” you raised your eyebrow, hoping for a positive review from the only other girls in the house.

“You look so good Y/N, I’ve never seen you smile so big before!” Wanda came over and hugged the living daylights out of you, “You look amazing.” She whispered into you, you smiled and returned her compliment. You looked at Nat, preparing yourself for whatever she was going to say.

“Well shit, it turns out you’re hot as fuck. Good job Nikki” she looked at you and gave you a wink and held her fist out to Nikki to bump. “Are you ready?” she looked at you and you froze, were you ready? “He’s not going to be able to take his eyes off you.” She gave you a knowing look.

“What? Who?” you played dumb, hoping that they wouldn’t press the issue any further. The rest of the team left to clean up, which let you to have your discussion alone.

“You must think we’re stupid Y/N. We’re talking about Bucky.” You opened your mouth to protest Wanda, but she raised her finger before you had the chance to say anything. “And don’t you deny it. We see how you look at him”

“He sees me as a friend” you didn’t necessarily lie, you just didn’t tell them that you wished he saw you as more than a friend. Wanda sent you a look, and you didn’t need to say anything else, she knew.

“And? What do you see him as?” Nat pressed. Boy, she really wanted to hear the words come out of your mouth.

“I mean, of course I like him, who wouldn’t? He’s gorgeous. He’s kind, and funny. He’s charming and protective. I mean I should be so lucky right?” you finally admitted it to Nat, just not to the extent that you liked him.

“Well wearing that hun, you’ll be getting very lucky, if you know what I mean” she sent you a wink and you exploded with laughter. You picked up your phone from the charger and noticed a text from Bucky.

Limos have arrived. Time to board your carriage, Cinderella.

You made sure you had everything you needed, and headed out the door.

“Y/N, you go last, so you get the grand reveal.” You rolled your eyes at Wanda, ever the romantic.

You ascended the stairs behind Nat and Wanda, and you could hear them being wolf whistled and clapped by everyone. You took a deep breath and nervously turned the corner looking out at the crowd of people. It became so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. Everyone’s mouth was hanging open in a similar way to Nat and Wanda earlier. Your eyes searched the room for those familiar ocean blue orbs. When you found them, your heart started racing, and you could feel your smile widening. He looked so handsome in his tuxedo, his long hair in a slicked back style that made you want to run your fingers through it. He looked you up and down, and there was a brief flash of something that you couldn’t quite figure out in his eyes. All of a sudden, all of the men were rushing to you, reaching for your hand, fighting to help you down the stairs. All of them apart from the man who you really wanted to be there. He kept his distance, keeping his gaze on you at all times.

“Here, Y/N, let me help you.” Steve extended his hand to you, ever the gentleman.

“Hey, shove off Cap, I asked first” Sam pushed Steve’s hand away, replacing it with his own. You blushed harder, not used to all the attention you were now receiving.

“I think we all know, I was there before both of you.” You heard Tony move through the crowd and he took your hand and escorted you down the stairs. He leant into you and whispered “You look stunning Siren. Who knew right?” you slapped his arm playfully and laughed. He can be an ass, but him footing the bill for this make over made you feel very thankful to Tony, for everything he did for you tonight.

“Thank you Stark.” You looked at him, he picked your hand up, and planted a small kiss on top of it.

“Go get ‘em tiger.” He raised his eyebrow and as soon as he’d said it, he was off, talking to someone about something far beyond you level of expertise. You made your way over to Bucky, who’s stare you were painfully aware of the whole time you’d been stood in the foyer. Your eyes met his and he smiled at you and the dancing butterflies in your stomach were at it again, why did you react like this with him?

“Hey Buck. You don’t scrub up too shabby,” you mentally cursed yourself at your nervous laugh that followed.

“Neither do you, Angel.” He took you in his arms and you pulled him close, giving him a chance to feel your curves, you blamed your new found confidence at the sudden need for his attention. He didn’t complain, as he picked you up and span you around. He placed you back down and whispered into your ear, “You’re simply captivating, Doll” Your heart was hammering away so fast in your chest, you felt it could jump out at any moment. You felt your breathing hitch as he studied you, you glanced up at him, his eyes darkening with something you couldn’t quite place your finger on.

“Come on Guys! I want to party!” Sam called from outside. You hadn’t even noticed the foyer empty, leaving only you and Bucky stood on the logo in the entrance hall. Bucky placed his hand on the small of your back, the small touch sending a shiver down your spine.

“You ready Doll?” his low voice made your knees weak, and you could have jumped him there and then.

“As I’ll ever be.”

Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3

Every time you moved your arms a sharp pain would surge down your sides and focus on the spot of your belly that was wrapped tight in bandages and was sewed shut with painful stitches. Stitches that you may or may not have broken a couple of times.

You were sick of being stuck in a highly uncomfortable bed all day. The constant beeping of machines, and the dull smell of cleanness and medicine were driving you insane. You spent most of your days on your laptop, talking to those who visited you or staring out the door and windows. Wanda stayed with you as much as she could, but she was busy and couldn’t always stop by to keep you entertained.

The rest of the Avengers made a lot of appearances as well. They were all crammed into your room when you woke up, much to your surprise. So many flowers, stuffed animals, cards, balloons and much more from each of them.

They were all lucky that you were a very forgiving person, and also having a near death experience really made you open your eyes. As cheesy as that sounds.

Things were still a bit hesitant, from both sides. The Avengers were regretful and it showed in every action they did. While you were a bit cautious, you knew their eyes had been opened wide after they nearly lost you, but you were worried it wouldn’t last.

Wanda has assured you many times that the Avengers were not throwing you to the side ever again, and that you had nothing to worry about.

While you were stuck where you were recovering, the Avengers tower was now being filled with pictures. Pictures of you. There’s a wall in the family room that is filled head to toe with different pictures of the Avengers.

There’s a picture of Tony, Steve and Bruce last Halloween, all of them smiling and laughing. “Stark, spangled, Banner,” is what they went as.

There’s a picture of Natasha giving Clint a piggy back ride throughout every inch of the tower, after she lost a game of Monopoly to him.

There’s a picture of Sam putting magnets on Bucky’s arm while he was sleeping. The picture was the reason Bucky woke up, Scott forgot to turn the flash off. Sam leaped over that couch so quickly that he ended up spraining his ankle.

And the most favored picture of them all is you. Nobody remembers who took the picture, all they know is that they all love how happy you look in it. You weren’t even looking at the camera, your gaze focused on something a little to the left of both the camera and the photographer. Your hair was lazily done but it was pushed back with a white headband so everybody could see you. You were laughing lightly, your lips tinted pink and teeth as white as snow. Your eyes were sparkling so bright and they were filled with such happiness and love.

Nobody remembers who took the picture or what event they were even at, but they do know who your gaze was focused on. The man you were admiring from afar, the man that made a smile cross your features, the man that caused so much love to fill your eyes.

James Buchanan Barnes.

Percy Jackson AU

“We’re all family here.”

You breathed in the warm August air as you stood on the porch of the Big House. Everything was quiet and calm- well, as quiet and calm as a camp for dangerous, hyper-active kids could get. Camp Halfblood had been your home for years, and now, you were one of the most trusted campers- besides Steve Rogers of the Athena cabin,or Bucky Barnes, son of Poseidon, of course. You let out a little sigh, as your eyes rested on the the Maximoff twins, children of Hecate, who stood by Ro’s tree, not entering the camp.

They had sided with Kronos in the Titan War, and had defected after seeing the damage. The shorter one was Wanda, with her dark hair, and flashing red eyes that you could even see from here. The taller one was Pietro, with white, spiked hair and a mischievous smile on his face that was tinged with worry. The rest of your friends had volunteered you to be the welcome committee, and Chiron had agreed. So, here you were, standing on the porch, trying to work up the nerves to greet the twins. Taking a deep breath, you squared your shoulders, and walked up to the two.

The two looked up as you neared them, a warm smile on your face. “You must be the Maximoff twins, right?” You asked, holding out a hand. Wanda hesitated, while Pietro immediately shook your hand enthusiastically.

“Pietro Maximoff,” he replied, flashing you a brilliant white smile. “Son of Hecate and the fastest man on Earth.”

You let out a laugh, letting go of his warm hand. You turned to Wanda, holding out a hand, but she crossed her arms, sticking her nose up at you. Feeling a little twinge of sadness, you dropped your hand, sticking it in your pocket. “Well,” you cleared your throat, as Pietro sent Wanda a “what-the-hell” look. “I’m (Y/N) (L/N), a camp leader here, and a daughter of Persephone. Tod-”

Pietro let out a snort, and even Wanda let out a giggle. “You? A camp leader and a daughter of Persephone? The goddess of flowers?” His accent was thick with amusement.

“Absolutely ridiculous.” Wanda added, a look of glee on her face.

Your face colored, and you crossed your arms in annoyance. “Did you know that Persephone was the daughter of Demeter and Zeus?  And she’s not only the goddess of flowers, but also the goddess of spring and the queen of the Underworld.” And it’s not only Persephone, you added to yourself.

Both twins had a rather sheepish expression on their faces, and Pietro had the good grace to look down. “Sorry, (Y/N),” Pietro mumbles, and Wanda just shrugs.

“Ah, it’s cool, I was just giving you shit,” you joked, giving them a smile. Pietro visibly relaxes, while Wanda, which seemed to be becoming a regular occurrence, just shrugs. “So, now, I’ll show you around the camp. Does that sound good?”

Pietro nods enthusiastically, and Wanda, yet again shrugs. You start to walk down from Half-Blood Hill, down to the U-shape of the cabins slowly becoming larger. “After the Titan War this summer, Bucky made the gods promise to claim all their children,” your mind flashed back to seeing Bucky standing before the gods, refusing immortality and making a selfless choice. “He also made them promise that the minor gods could have cabins at Camp, and their kids could have a place here.” You added, a small smile on your face as you remembered his passionate speech, and the proud look on his father’s face.

“There is a cabin for us?” Wanda asked in disbelief, her eyes flashing red.

You nodded, smiling at her. “There is. You have two other siblings.”

Pietro gasped, and they shared a shocked glance. “C-can we meet any of them?” He stumbled over his words, and you could see his eyes flashing from cabin to cabin, like he was trying to recognize his mother’s cabin.

“Of course, Pietro. But first I’ll show you around the rest of the camp- we’re all family here, anyways.” He reminds me of an excited dog, you thought in amusement to yourself, as you lead them into main cabin area. Out of the corner of your eyes, Pietro walked closer to you, and his eyes flashed excitedly from cabin to cabin. Yup. He’s definitely a dog.

You came up to the first male cabin, which was the Hermes cabin. It was a lot less ran down, and better looking, and you felt a twinge of homesickness as you looked inside. “This is the Hermes cabin. It used to be the cabin for the unclaimed kids, and the kids of minor gods, but now it’s just for the children of Hermes.” You paused for a moment as they peered in, and talked quietly to each other in a different language.

Walking up to the next cabin, steam billowed out of the smokestacks on the top of the factory looking cabin. Gesturing for them to follow, you walked in, dodging a small machine that skidded out the door. “This is the Hephaestus cabin,” you said, raising your voice slightly over the sound of the hammering. “Tony! Bruce!” You yelled, and some of the hammering dimmed. Two black haired, sooty, heads popped out of the hatch on the floor.

The shorter one beamed at me, and the taller one just waved. “Hey, Flower Queen! Who do you have there?” Tony exclaimed, hopping out of the hatch, and wiping his dirty hands on his equally dirty pants.

“Wanda and Pietro Maximoff,” you introduced, as Bruce cleaned his glasses on his shirt. “They’re new here, and children of Hecate.” You pressed the word new, and you saw their eyes widen in recognition.

Tony cleared his throat, and ran a hand through his dirty hair. “Well, it’s nice to meet you guys, but we’ve got a big project to-” from hatch below the room, a big boom shook the cabin. Both boys’ eyes widened, and as fast as they appeared, they disappeared back into the hatch.

Turning towards the twins with a crazy grin on your face, you gave them a shrug. “It’s a regular occurrence, so don’t worry,” you said, a dismissive tone to your voice, as the three of you walked out of the smoky cabin.

“They seem-” Wanda searched for a word, and looked at Pietro for help.

“Out of it.” Pietro finished, and you laughed, as you approached the bright gold Apollo cabin.

“Get used to it.” You waved to Clint, as he fired off an arrow into a target. The blonde man waved back, before he shot of another one, getting a perfect bull’s eye. “This is the Apollo cabin,” you exclaimed, Wanda shielding her eyes from the glare coming off of the gold cabin. “He’s the god of the sun, archery, poetry, and healing. Clint here is the head of the cabin.” He smiled at the three of you, before focusing back onto his archery.

Thee twins had no comments, and they stayed quiet as you passed the Ares cabin, as Natasha gave you a thumbs up while she wrestled one of her heavily muscled siblings. The second to last cabin on the male side was Poseidon’s, and you could feel a grin forming on your face as you smelt seaweed and salt. “Bucky!” You called as you reached the front steps of the low, blue building, the Maximoff twins standing awkwardly behind you.

The raven-haired demigod popped out, his shorts slung low on his hips and a twinkle in his sea blue eyes. “(Y/N)!” He grinned widely at you, putting a warm arm around you. “Whatcha’ doin’, flower girl? Gardenin’ and what not?” He teased, his Brooklyn accent prominent, and you rolled your eyes.

“No, Seaweed Brain, I’m showing the newest campers around,” you explained, and Bucky’s attention turned towards the two standing on the front steps. Pietro did a little wave, his blue eyes studying the son of Poseidon. Wanda dipped her head, the daughter of Hecate watching the way you two interacted. That’s more recognition than she ever gave me, you grumbled to yourself, and the Sokovian’s lips quirked into a smile.

“Ah, I see, you got stuck on babysittin’ duty,” he gave the twins an infectious smile, and held  out his hand. “I’m Bucky Barnes, son of Poseidon, and the real leader around her, despite was Ms. Queen of Spring told you.” Laughing, you elbowed him in the ribs, as the twins shook his hand.

“She told she was, ah, the ‘daughter of the Queen of the Underworld’ and ‘to be respected’,” Wanda quoted sarcastically, and her twin laughed.

“Ja, she looked quite cute when she was flustered,” Pietro teased, and you could feel your cheeks getting red.

Bucky laughed, and you rolled your eyes. “Well, the does sound like (Y/N), always sayin’ ‘Just cause I’m the daughter of Persephone, does not mean that-’”

“Alright then,” you interrupted, ducking out from under the dark haired demigod’s arm, and stepping out of the cabin. “How about we leave, before you tell them all my embarrassing antics? See ya later, Bucky.” You had to drags the twins away from Poseidon cabin, as Wanda wanted to know every single one of your mistakes from the past year.

As you resumed the tour, and passed the two big cabins, and most of the female goddess cabins, you could still hear Pietro giggling under his breath. “The Queen of Spring,” you could hear, and the back of your neck reddened. “Flower girl.” He snickered, and Wanda followed suit. You sighed in annoyance, before perking up as you realized you neared the Athena cabin. Steve can tell them some magnificent stories about my awesomeness, and great battle skills. That’ll make them forget about Bucky’s stories.

Standing on the front steps of the Athena cabin, was the blonde demigod you called one of your best friend. Steve’s face lit up when he saw you, and he placed the book of battle tactics on the step besides him. “Hello, (Y/N), these must be the new campers. Wanda and Pietro?” He asked, flashing them a brilliant smile.

They shared a surprised, but pleased look. “Yes, you must be Steve,” Wanda replied, trying to hide her apparent confusion, while Pietro grinned and shook the blonde demigod’s hand.

A smile formed on your lips as you watched the three of them interact, and you zoned out. Steve engaged them in conversation, asked them questions, and paid attention to their answers. You could see them swelling with confidence, and you slowly zoned back in.

“-and she was once called herself ‘The Queen of the Daisies’!” Steve finished, and the twins burst out in laughter, while Steve’s gray eyes twinkled.

You gaped at the blonde demigod in betrayal, and you reddened once again. “Steve!” You said, your voice going higher in shock. “You traitor!”

He shrugged, giving you a smirk. “Hey, they are new campers, Daisy, they deserve to know all the old camp stories so they don’t feel left out,” he replied, giving you an innocent look.

Huffing, you crossed your arms across your chest. “Pietro, Wanda, I think it’s time to show you your cabin, before Wise Boy here bores you to sleep with one of his most delightful speeches about how fairy tales are just Greek myths,” you mocked, and Steve narrowed his eyes at you. Despite being best friends, you often quipped at each other, with Bucky coming in and breaking it apart. You knew you were going to pay for that remark later.

“Oh, of course, oh powerful Queen of the Daisies,” Pietro joked, his bright blue eyes twinkling with mischief. Letting out a huff, you spun around on your heels, and marched off to the left, where the additional cabins were built. In a blue flash, Pietro was right next to you, with Wanda jogging behind you to catch up.

“Look. (Y/N), we didn’t mean to-” he began, but you cut him off with a wave of your hand.

“I get it, Pietro, it’s just a joke, sometimes it gets annoying when people constantly make fun of you for the powers you have,” he opened his mouth to interject, but you fixed him with such a cold look that he closed his mouth immediately. “Here’s your cabin-” you pointed to a deep purple cabin, with flaming torches set up in front of it. “-and I’ll see you guys at the campfire.” Without another word, you left, walking towards the dark brown cabin next to theirs, that had vines creeping it, and flowers on the roof.

Pietro gazed at your retreating form, then turned towards his sister guiltily. “I guess I pushed it too far, didn’t I?” He asked, biting his lip.

Wanda shrugged, and laced her fingers with his. “Don’t worry, big brother. Remember, (Y/N)’s also the daughter of the Queen of the Underworld?” He hesitated, but nodded slightly. She smiled at her kind-hearted twin, and pulled him towards the Hecate cabin. “Come brother, let’s meet our siblings.”

Inside your cabin, you sighed, laying back on the bed. It was dead silent in there, with you having no siblings and all. You sighed again, and closed your eyes. You knew it was irrational for you to get pissed at the nicknames they said with love, but it just irked you. Sighing again, you felt your anger disappear. You were all family here, and families fought. It’d be fine by tonight.

Tony's Ringtone For The Team

Let me preface this by saying:All of these songs are classic rock. So yes today there might be more accurate songs, but Tony is a huge fan of that genre so I based it off of that!

Steve: Fly Like An Eagle by The Steve Miller Band

Clint: Back in Black by AC/DC

Bruce: Desperado by The Eagles

Thor: Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin

Nat: Shoot to Thrill by AC/DC

Sam:Livin’ on A Prayer by Bon Jovi

Bucky: Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen

Wanda: Witchy Woman by The Eagles

Pietro: Behind Blue Eyes by The Who

Vision: Sweet Child O’ Mine by Guns N’ Roses

Tony then proceeded to put himself as Iron man by Black Sabbath in everyone else’s phone. Everyone still has no idea how he managed it.
Sunshine (Part 2) (Pietro x reader)

You braced yourself at the edge of the helicopter, gazing down at the dark, churning waters with intense focus. “You guys ready?” You called out, turning around to look at Steve, Nat, Sam and Wanda. They all nodded and you gave grim smile as Sam made a face. “I don’t think I’ll ever get used to this,” he said, squeezing his dark eyes shut. You clapped his back. “Don’t worry, I’ve got you.”

Turning your gaze back down, you took a deep breath and dived into the water as the others followed, immediately moving your arms in quick, spiraling motions to encase you all in a watertight bubble. You turned and counted. “Alright, gang’s all here,” you noted. “Steve, plan of attack please.” You continued to move your arms as the bubble propelled slowly through the deep waters, underneath any lurking ships on the coast used to stop any intruders.

Steve held out a mini tablet in front of you all. “It looks like the main building is about 100 or so ft inland, but the beach is lined with patrol groups. As soon as we emerge, you take out anyone you see with some nice waves and Wanda knocks them out with her energy blasts. We can handle stragglers. I’m making a break to the building off the bat; the rest of you can follow. We get in the ground floor and move upward toward the 3rd. Nat, you’ll need to get us in that room if it’s encrypted. Take down whoever’s there, get Bucky and signal back to the chopper while we get to the top of the building. Sam can fly us up if we need it. Any questions?”

Wanda looked at Steve a bit concernedly. “What if the Winter – what if Bucky does not want to go?”

Steve’s jaw set in a hard line. “He’s coming regardless.” Wanda opened her mouth to say something but a glance from Nat cut her short.

You stopped moving the bubble for a second as you felt soft sand, looking up to see an emerging shoreline. You swallowed and closed your eyes, taking an exhale to center yourself. “Are you all ready? Wanda?” She nodded and you yelled out as you shot the bubble forward with startling speed, landing on the shore in a crouched position before snapping up to bring the power of the ocean and of the Avengers behind you.

-
You slumped low against the crumbling brick wall, firing off a round of bullets haphazardly into the distance as you tried to stop the bleeding in your shoulder. You had been hit while rounding the stairs – a blind spot – but that didn’t make the shot hurt any less. You peered out quickly and saw a thick metal door. “Guys, come in, I think I found where Bucky is but where the fuck are you all?! Steve?” You yelled out into your mic set, waiting for an answer. You stood up and your heart jolted as an attacker came at you, easily taking him down with a hard smack of water from the bottle held snugly on your belt. “Fuck,” you whimpered,“ the blood in your shoulder pouring out profusely now. “I’m hit and I have a visual but there’s no way I’m getting Bucky out on my own.”

Suddenly, a tall figure loomed before you. You moved to strike but he held up his hands. “Woah woah woah!!” He yelled. You sighed with relief; you couldn’t tell it was Sam amongst all the dust. “We need to get you back or you’re going to bleed out.” He moved to grab you. “No, we need to at least get through this door. Steve can take it from there once he reaches it; we can at least help get rid of any more threats. You winced but readied yourself, your palms distorted as the water reflected off them. You moved to the door – surprised that it wasn’t passcode locked – and froze the handle easily, kicking the door lock open. You and Sam moved quickly into the room only to be greeted with what looked like an empty armory. Sam swore. “Where the hell could he be, this is where Steve?” You turned around just to see a Brazilian man leering at the door slamming it shut as he rolled in a grenade. “SHIT,” you both yelled as you fled into a corner, your hands moving quickly to create a barrier of water around you both. The next thing you knew, you were lying on the ground, a metallic taste in your mouth and a pain like you had never experienced in your side. You tried to scream out, but you coughed up blood. As your vision went hazy, you saw a swarm of figured headed toward you. Your thoughts swam to Teya and Pietro as everything cut to black.

-
You felt a cool metal arm wrapped around your body, placing you on a hard floor of a helicopter.

“They knew we were coming, they had Bucky in a different room. The third floor was a decoy.”

“Do we call Pietro?”

“No, we need to stabilize her first.”

“He should know -”

“Dammit, he doesn’t need to know right now; either help me save her or get out of the way!”

Wanda and Sam’s voices swam around in the air. You tried again to say something but felt like you were choking. You felt like someone had lit your insides on fire. “Y/N?” Steve’s worried face appeared before you, but your eyes darted to the new addition in the background. “They got Bucky,” you thought distractedly before blacking out again.

Meanwhile, Natasha moved away discreetly, pressing a button on her phone as the others worked on your wounds. “Pietro,” she said softly but firmly. “I need you to listen to me. Y/N got hurt. We’re doing everything we can. We’ll be home in a few hours. She’ll be ok.”

-
Your eyes blinked open to the sight of a familiar blond standing near you. “Y/N,” he choked out, as he ran a thumb across your battered cheek. “It’s me, baby. You’re safe now.” Your chest filled with emotion at the sight of Pietro but your breath caught and you started having a coughing fit that sent you into a panic. “I’m dying,” you thought in terror. You saw nimble fingers pulling at a tube running out of you and suddenly, you could breath again, albeit in ragged gasps.

“Hey, hey, hey,” a soothing voice echoed as a strong warm hand cradled the back of your neck. It was Bruce. “It’s ok, Y/N. Your lungs inhaled a lot of really bad stuff from the explosion, but it’s ok. Try to breathe normal for me.” Slowly you were able to get your breathing settled, your focus turning to the intense areas of pain around your body. Your eyes filled with tears. “Pietro,” you rasped out quietly. “It hurts.”

He cupped your chin in his hand as he kissed your head. “I know, baby, just hang in there for me. I love you,” he said helplessly as Bruce gently nudged him aside to work more on your injuries. Wanda stood behind Pietro as tears fell from his blue eyes, his shoulders shaking as Wanda rubbed a hand across them. She murmured to him consolingly in Sokovian – you caught the word for “fighter.” You looked around confusedly. “Teya?” You asked, looking at Pietro. “Thor has her, but she probably shouldn’t see you -” Steve was cut off as Thor entered the room, a frantic Teya dragging his hand. Thor looked at Pietro apologetically. “She was insistent she saw her.”

“Mama!” She shrieked out as she ran toward you, her own blue eyes filling with tears at her futile attempts to jump onto your bed. Your heart broke and you wanted to hold her so bad, to tell her you’d be fine and that you loved her, but you could barely move or speak. All you got out was a hoarse, “Mama’s here, sunshine.” Pietro stood up quickly and drew her into his arms; she struggled against his grasp to try to reach you. “Mama hurt!” She yelled out and looked at you sadly, her bottom lip quivering. “Shhhh, princessa,” Pietro murmured to his daughter, his own voice hoarse and exhausted from crying. “Mama will be ok.”

She continued to struggle and Pietro loosened his hold, letting her small palm touch your bruised face. At the touch, you saw a warm, golden glow emanating from her hand. “How many drugs am I on?!” you thought thickly. But you heard everyone in the room gasp. “Wait, what?” you murmured, totally bewildered. “What’s going-” as soon as Teya moved her hand away, the glow left. You drew your hand to your cheek, amazed that the pulsing bruise had disappeared.

“Teya,” you and Pietro said incredulously together. Your daughter smiled slightly. “Mama hurt. Teya help.” “How does she -” you stopped as she reached again, this time placing her small hand on your bullet wound. You clenched your teeth at the initial touch but felt the pain draining away from the area, your eyes widening with disbelief.

You looked at Bruce, who was gazing at your daughter with amazement. “The combination of Pietro’s accelerated healing and your external molecular manipulation must have manifested itself into some sort of healing power that she can use on others,” he said excitedly. “This is incredible. She’s only 1 ½.”

Pietro looked stunned, letting Teya totally free as she crawled around you, lighting up your torn body at her touch. After a particularly intense release of pain –apparently your liver had been nicked in the fall – you started crying. “Teya, you fixed Mama!,” you whispered. “Thank you, my little sunshine.” She smiled happily and curled up into you.

You looked at Pietro with a weak smile. “Well, now we know what her powers are. Sorry she won’t be racing with you.” Pietro didn’t answer, instead he placed his lips firmly on yours as your hand reached up to frame his face. You broke apart and he looked at you intensely, placing his forehead on yours. “I was so scared, Y/N. That we would lose you. I couldn’t -” he inhaled sharply and you kissed him again. “I’m here Pietro, I love you.” “I love you too.”

You heard a sniffle in the corner and looked at Sam bemusedly. “Sam why are you crying?” You asked. “Well, my arm is in a damn sling, and second, your family is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen this is too much for me!” He yelled out. Everyone in the room laughed. You moved Teya to Pietro as he placed her at Sam’s feet. “Alright, kiddo,” Sam said, crouching down to her level. “Show me what you got.” She ran her fingers up and over the sling, emitting that warm, bright glow again. She pulled away and Sam looked at his arm in shock. “Oh my god,” he shrieked. “That was amazing!” He ripped the sling off and twirled Teya around. “Thank you, thank you, God bless this sweet child!”

“She really is sunshine,” you said quietly, recalling the way she lit up the injuries. “She always brings happiness.” You squeezed Pietro’s hand and kissed him again.

“Also,” you said with a small smile.“ “Nice to meet you, Bucky.” Stepping out of the corner of the room slowly, he nodded. “I’m sorry you got hurt trying to find me. But your daughter seems to have it covered,” he said, the corner of his mouth twitching.

The door of the medical ward suddenly burst open as Tony stumbled in, suitcase in hand. “Sorry, just got back from Miami, Jarvis briefed me – wait,” he broke off, frowning at you slightly. “Why do you look that good for someone who survived a grenade explosion?” You chuckled and looked at Teya, who was already running toward Tony in excitement. “Why don’t you ask her?”

wow this was way longer than I thought it would be but hope you guys liked it!!!!

Part 1

__________

It been awhile since I’ve seen Spider-ass, it was my personal favorite nickname so far. I kind of missed the like asshole, not that he actually was an asshole, he’s actually so nice it could make you vomit. That night was a cluster-fuck but I’d do it again to see that arthropod. I hated the way he made me feel, it was a damn clitché and I cant deal with it. My older sister, whom I live with, is constantly picking on my little “superhero crush” on him. She also picked on me when she found out I had a crush on Peter Parker, a boy in my Physics class. My response was just a fuck off, normally my response to a lot of what she says but in a joking and loving way. That is until she told me she got a call from Tony Stark, that gave me a shock. I honestly didnt believe her. I had heard about Spider- Boy getting a call but I didnt realize I would too. I called Tony Stark the next day, it was summer so I didnt have to worry about school. My sister, Kate, knows about my abilities so it made it easier for me not having to lie about going to the Avenger Tower for a few days to get a feel of the place and Tony offered me a new suit, which I am very thankful for. The car would be there in an hour to get me which led to me rushing around like a mad woman, throwing random bits in a floral backpack. I freshen up, running my fingers through my hair, fixing my makeup, I felt oddly nervous which never happened. I could be held at gunpoint and not even flinch an inch. I dont know if thats just me being cocky, which it probably is but I’m never nervous nor awkward not since I got my powers.

I say goodbye to Kate, she looks nervous, probably because this is my first time away for awhile without her since our parents died. I see a sadness in her eyes causing me to hug her a put a flower in her hair, its the only way I say goodbye, thats what flowers signify to me now. I mean, think of what you put on a grave. Kate starts to cry and thats when I leave, I cant deal with crying or maybe just sadness in general.

The driver is a tall man, like bigfoot tall. He is also wearing a uniform that sports the Avenger logo. He opens the door for me and takes my bag, I tell him its fine next to me but he insists. The ride there is quiet until I decide I cant stay quiet anymore.

“So, How are you?” I say just trying to make conversation. He looks in the mirror and smiles.

“I’m good, thank you Ms.” After that I give up trying to be friendly, I’ll save all my energy for the team. That is until he carries on the conversation so by the time we are at the tower I know his name is Franklin and he has a wonderful wife, they just celebrated their 41st anniversary and they have a daughter and son, both who are in college. When he opens the door for me he hands me my bag and smiles at me. I wave my hand in an weird way which causes Franklin to look at me oddly. A bright blue carnation pops up from the crack in the cement, I pick it and hand it to Franklin. Goodbye. I make my way into the lobby, my fingers are shaking so much they may fall off. I talk to the receptionist and after a few minutes she points me in the direction of the elevators and tells me a floor number. I was expecting someone to at least be there waiting, that would have calmed me a tad.

“You’re great, you have powers people wished they had. You are great.” I say to myself and then taking a deep breathe, composing myself. Im starting to feel my normal assholey self, Im cool. The elevator doors open and all the Avengers are standing and some sitting. I walk out, a huge smile on my face.

“Everyone, This is Rose.” They all wave, Natasha is first to shake my hand then Steve, wow, his eyes are blue. Then Sam and Vision. Wanda gives me a hug and thanks god that there is someone around her age there thats not Parker. Parker? That name sounds familiar but I ignore it.

“Dinner will be done in an hour. Wanda can you show her to her room please?” She nods and takes my hand, taking me to the elevators. When we reach the floor it opens up to a common room

“Tony decorated your room so if you don’t like it, blame him. Also Peter is on this floor as well, he stays in his room a lot either doing homework or something.“ Her accent is thick, it makes it harder to read her.

The room is the same green as my suit with a balcony thats covered in plants. Wanda leaves me to unpack and settle in which I’m thankful for. I turn on some music on my phone as I put my clothes into the dresser and closet since I will be here for a week. My music is interrupted by a knock at the door, I lower the music just in case thats what they came to complain about. I walk to the door and open is quickly.

It was Peter. Peter Parker. The boy I have had a crush on since the 6th grade. He looks shocked to see me, probably more than I am. I furrow my brows and awkwardly look at him. Hes probably yet to notice hes staring.

“Earth to Parker.” I say and wave my hands in front of his face. He snaps out of it, a blush spreads across his face. “Y/N? W-What are you doing here?” He tries to lower his voice as to act calm. I smirk at him, I want to joke with him a bit.

“Well, I figured, Peter Parker of all people can get a nice deal here so why cant I?“ He looked a bit frustrated, it’s adorable. I smile at his frustration.

“But, why are you here? Like in a room? Not in a lab?” The smirk returns to my face once more. I only send him a wink and walk back into my room, shutting the door behind me. I turn my music back up, drowning out all outside noise.

“Mrs. Y/L/N, Mr. Stark wishes to see you in his Lab.” The AI system says, nearly scaring me to death, I turn my music off and shut the dresser drawer I was putting things in.

“Please call me Rose, Mr. Or Mrs. AI system.” I says while walking into the hallway. I pass a room, which has music playing from it too, surprisingly good music. I peek in and notice Peter tinkering with something, he’s using the wrong screwdriver for the screw head. I can tell by the way he’s pushing it.

“Keep doing that and you’ll strip the screw, you’d be better off using scissors.” I say causing him to jump, I walk away and stroll down to Tonys Lab where I lightly knock on the door frame since the door was already open.

 “You needed me Tin-Can?”

“Ah yes, finally you’re here, didnt think it would have taken that long.”

“Got curious.” I shrug, sitting in a rolly chair across from his work space.

“Curiosity killed the cat.” He so sarcastic, it will be fun to bounce sarcasm off one another.

“Well, then, good thing I’m not T'Challa.” He chuckles, not looking at me too invested in his work. “I need you to come tomorrow and do some measurements and answer some questions for your suit, the whole all black and halloween mask thing just its working for you anymore.” I gasp dramatically and put my hand over my mouth, acting offended.

“I think it suits me really well.” He rolls his eyes at my pun, he’s just jealous.

“Mr. Stark, Ms. Rose, Dinner is ready. The rest of the team is already there.” Tony walks over the to door holding it open for me, I thank him and we make our way to the dining room. The whole team is sitting at the table, Wanda motions me to sit by her. Peter is sitting on the other side of me. Great.

“Why are you here?” Peter whispers, I chuckle, scooping mashed potatoes onto my plate. I honestly don’t know why he’s here either but I ignore it.

“Wow, I’d hope you’d be happier to see me.” I look at him, a sliver of plaid fabric catching my eye, his fly was down.

“Looks like you might be happier than I thought.” I chuckle, He looks down instantly flustered. Nat over hears to conversation and begins to laugh and soon the whole table knows of what just happened.

“Spiderling, Keep your pants on. I understand she is pretty and all but we can’t have you scaring her off with your Ironman underwear.” Tony says making Peter blush even more if possible

. “Actually, then are plaid. But Spiderling?” I look at him confused. Is he Spiderman? Fan-fucking-tastic. The irony is honestly great, has to be my third favorite type of humor after sarcasm and puns.

 “It’s Spiderman.”

“Yeah, I know Spiderass.” I lean back in my chair, scooping mashed potatoes into my mouth. A gush of realization sweeps over his face, the nickname, it was his favorite.

 “Rose?”

“In the flesh, oh dammit. My secret identity is out! Someone alert the press.” I state, sarcasm seeping from my words. Tony chuckles, it did sound like something he would say.

“So Rose is Y/n?” Peter says almost as if he is trying to sort out his thoughts.

“More like Y/n is Rose but I get where you’re coming from.” I scoop more potatoes into my mouth, god they are good.

“Wow, I’ve always thought you were cool but now you’re even better, if possible.” Peter rambles with a blush tinting his cheeks. Tony coughs interrupting the moment, I could punch him for it.

“wait, Spiderling and Venus fly trap are friends?” Tony scoffs, his head in his hands, rubbing his eyes in frustration.

“We had Physics together last year.” I state with a shrug and a slight smile. I dont know if we are friends or not, sure we have talked but not That much but the times I told Flash to cut his shit and to lay off Peter. I really dont want to scare him off.

"Yeah, I always thought she was bad ass and pretty but now I know shes bad ass and still pretty as always.“

"Nope, Spider-ling you have to quit flirting! Your awkwardness is going to scare her off.” Tony jokingly yells from across the table. By this time I have finished my potatoes and I lean over and try and start to Wanda as the conversation shifts away from Peter and I. “I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable.” Peter whispers, I can see the redness in his cheeks and the worry in his eyes. I grab his hand which is under the table trying to reassure him that he is fine, honestly I feel like I’m on cloud nine.

“Bugboy has a liking for Lady Y/N. How nice.” Thor says with a smile, which you happily return while squeezing Peters hand a bit and rubbing my thumb against the back of his hand. His cheeks heat up because of your actions but he’s doing the same as you look at his nice face.

__________

Once dinner was over with you all some how ended up playing Never have I ever with the team, it was Tony’s idea, You thought it was funny because Steve put up a fight thinking Tony wanted you and Peter to drink. You ended up with apple juice in place of alcohol with no complainants, it was Nat’s idea.

“Never have I ever colored my hair.” You say with a smirk making direct eye with Tony which makes him roll his eyes as majority of the team doesn’t even move the slightest as Tony drinks resulting in the rest of the team laughing.

“It was one time!” Tony yells in defense, crossing his arms over his chest with a pout placed upon his lips.

“Well, Know at least we know what to get Tony for Christmas.” You reply, stifling a laugh. “What color are you? Just so I know for sure.” Something flashes across Tonys face, an idea.

“My turn!” He announces, smirking at you now, you can almost hear him thinking, Oh how the tables have turned. You try to ignore it and put up a strong front. “Never have I ever had a crush on someone in this room.”

You were tempted to lie and drink but look over at Peter and he doesn’t move. You can feel the tension as you and Peter nervously stare at one another. Tony mischievously smiled like the Cheshire cat and spun the glass of alcohol against the floor, looking between you and Peter. Nat is glaring at Tony while Thor just looks kind of confused.

“Fine! I give! I like Rose and Y/N. A lot.” Peter caves making you grin and scoot closer to him slowly.

“Really? Even my sarcastic and idiotic ways?” You were talking about how you acted as Rose. You wanted to say how much of an asshole you actually are but then realize that Peter knows first hand. You still wanted to apologize for that.

“I like every part of you, especially the sarcasm and I see no idiotic.” He smiles shyly as you grab his hand holding it in yours. You can feel everyone eyes on you and it makes you second guess you actions but Peter leans in and you cant help but do you same. His lips are soft and slightly chapped, it was a quick but amazing kiss but it ended as soon as the teams started to Aw.

“Please tell me you feel the same because if not this will be very awkward.” He chuckles lightly, your faces still close enough you can feel his breath on your cheek.

“Wow, Parker I thought you’d be able to tell by the kiss but yes you dork. Of course I do.”

“Thank God but maybe I still need some reassurance.”
