Carben is a little nonbinary sweetheart with speaking difficulties and the ability to shapeshift into animals. Since he isn’t too familiar with his abilities, he can only shift into small creatures like bats or mice. Carben is very sweet and innocent and focuses more on protecting others instead of defending himself (protecting children is his highest priority).

Was thinking about Eleanor lately

I’ve seen a lot of opinions about how it was not in character for her and how she needed to redeem herself, but I absolutely disagree. Honestly she was a character to whom I was most indifferent in S3 but this things made me think more about her :D

Like I wrote in my [post] right after I played the final episode - my Javi didn’t forgive her, but that’s if looking from his perspective as an in-game character. But from my own perspective as a player I can understand why she did it and, let’s be honest, it’s absolutely okay. Like I’ve already said -  she and Javier’s group are not that close to each other and she can have her own priorities over them and mind her own business whatever it is, even in such way. She had to put her priorities and let’s be honest - it’s better to stay in a safe city where people need your skills than to escape somewhere into danger with people who are not even that close to you (don’t even tell me all that jazz about Eleanor/Javi because there was absolutely nothing, one-two dialogue lines without any other stuff didn’t matter and she’s not a legit romance option). I asked myself and probably I’d do the same. That was a decision of a practical minded person who doesn’t have to be demonized for it (she is not some pure cinnamon roll as well, she’s a living and many-sided person like all the other characters, don’t think so and just get yourself frustrated) or redeemed (because of all I said above, from NOT JAVI’S perspective there’s nothing to be redeemed from).

The only her miscount was in a fact that when it comes to plans and manipulations - Joan is a shark and Eleanor is just a little fish, Joan had her own games and plans so we all know what happened.

A GUIDE FOR EVERY STUDENT: HOW TO STUDY SMARTER AND NOT HARDER!

A lot of us have difficulty when it comes to learning all types of new information. Especially when we’ve got other priorities to worry about. After much experimentation, I’ve found that the following tips helped me make the most of my time and also helped me plan much more fruitful study sessions!

- Designated Study Area.

A coffee shop, the library, a desk, or even your bed. Figure out where you are most comfortable studying - The right location provides comfort, no distractions and is quiet. Another factor to consider is timing. Are you a morning person, an evening person or a night person? Combine the time with the location and there’s your study area!

- The Key to Success is Time Management.

Plan your time using a simple schedule template, or make a simple to-do-list. The trick is to complete short tasks in a reasonable amount of time; like going over 5 pages of a textbook in approimately 15 minutes. Keeping a written schedule keeps you in line, and this way you won’t forget the tasks you need to complete for the day!

- Note Taking.

Personally, I like to keep a hardcopy of the days lecture and just scribble down any information that I think is important. BUT, there are some pretty cool note-taking strategies out there that you can utilise. Check out The Cornell Method, Mind Mapping, and the Split Page Method. Active learning produces more results than passive learning - so write down those notes and stay active!

- Meet the Syllabus.

The syllabus outlines the most important learning outcomes/ learning goals, and thats pretty much all you need to plan a productive studying session.

Bid farewell to all that extra, unnecessary information.

- What is your learning style?

Are you a visual, auditory, verbal or kinesthetic learner? Experiment with all 3 and find out which one works best for you. You don’t necessarily need to stick with one! Do you study better alone or do you prefer group study?

- Bite-sized Learning.

Do not try to cram in a huge amount of information all at once. Instead, try breaking information down into learnable, manageable chunks. Combining this method with tip #2 will help you make the most of your time.

- Review, Review, Review!

It’s scientifically proven that the more you review material, the easier it’ll be for you to recall it when needed. So, take another look at your notes a couple of days after you make them, then again a week later, and so on.

These are the main tips I’ve found to be of help, and I hope they’re of use to everyone else!

You what I love the most about Sense8 is that even though all the sense8’s grew up differently and have different cultures, religions and priorities, they all accept each other fully. Not one of them is transphobic, homophobic or sexist. I think that’s beautiful because it shows that no matter where in the world you are, you have no excuse for being any one of the three. It shows that everyone can be a decent human being.

what if you instead of pleasing others, would start pleasing yourself.

what if you instead of making others your priority, would make yourself your own priority.

what if you instead of doing everything like others do, would start doing things your own way.

what if you instead of talking shit about others, would start complimenting others.

what if you instead of putting yourself down, would start appreciating yourself and your abilities.

what if instead of focusing on everything else, you would for once focus on yourself.

Long distance relationship needs a lot of patience and willingness to make it work. Communication is a must, it’s one of the tool for those who are in long distance relationship. You need to stay strong, you need to trust the person you love, you need to understand that the person you love has other priorities. Even if it’s hard sometimes but don’t ever think that you can’t make it. As long as you love the person, everything’s worth it. Believe me, it’s worth loving someone who’s miles and miles away from you. Imagine that your love meets half way and it feels like you two are in the same place. It’s so beautiful to love someone far from you, it only proves that you two have a strong heart who’s willing to wait for the right time to be together. That the distance can’t stop you from making the person feel that you are just by their side. Most importantly, don’t forget to trust each other and keep your love to your heart.

Many Republicans voted for this dangerous bill even though they didn’t like it all that much. They did this for a variety of reasons — caucus politics; pressure from Trump; a perceived need to show that House Republicans can govern; to increase the odds for other priorities. By contrast, the Democrats who voted for the ACA did so because they believed in it — and helped contribute to a historic coverage expansion as a result, though that may be in danger now.

The House GOP bill now faces very long odds in the Senate, precisely because it’s a moral and political disaster. One of the big moral questions at the core of the health-care debate is whether to vastly roll back the ACA’s spending and regulations that are currently enabling so many poor and sick people to gain coverage, and to again put that coverage at risk. The GOP bill puts this coverage in danger for millions. Thus, many GOP senators and governors — for political and principled reasons alike — are not going to accept the House GOP bill’s deep cuts to Medicaid and weakening of protections for people with preexisting conditions. The result will be a long, intense debate that serves to focus more attention — possibly for months — on the albatross that many vulnerable House Republicans just hung around their own necks.

Yesterday, Republicans partied about their vote. Now comes the brutal hangover.

Destroy them. End their careers. Take these despicable, cruel,  viciously evil people out of public office for the rest of their worthless lives.

Trump will give up on repealing Obamacare if the House vote fails

  • Trump will reportedly give up on health care reform if the Republican health care bill does not pass on Friday, according to Politico.
  • “If the president doesn’t get a vote to repeal and replace Obamacare, he will move on to other priorities,” White House Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney said according to NBC News. Read more (3/23/17 10:11 PM)

What changes will Republicans make to the AHCA? Here’s what’s proposed.

  • Lacking the votes within their own party to pass the American Health Care Act, Republican leaders offered a series of proposed changes to woo House conservatives to support the bill.
  • Repealing essential health benefits guaranteed by the Affordable Care Act. Those benefits include emergency services, hospitalization, mental heath care, prescription drugs and maternity care, among others.
  • Delaying repeal of ACA tax. The ACA levied a .9% tax on high-income Americans — those making more than $200,000 a year — to help pay for Medicare, according to the New York Times. The earlier version of the AHCA repealed this tax.
  • Adding money for states to deal with health care costs. Another change would provide states $15 billion to address health care needs — including mental health and substance abuse treatment. Read more (3/24/17 8:23 AM)

CBO report on the latest version of the GOP’s health care bill is even worse than before

  • A new report released Thursday from the Congressional Budget Office could put Friday morning’s already shaky vote in even more jeopardy.
  • The report showed that not only will the same number of people lose their coverage under the revised bill, but it actually lowers the amount of government cost savings. Read more (3/23/17 7 PM)
