but then there's so many great things from this scene alone

If We Were A Movie (Seventeen Preference)
  • AN: this was probably one of the best requests of all time, I felt so so inspired by it and I hope you guys like it to. I'm seriously thinking about turning this into a whole serious, where each of these is a boy x reader oneshot so pls lemme know what you think of that idea? <3
  • S.Coups/Seungcheol: The Classic High School AU
  • We all know that our boy Coups would slay as the classic high school heart throb. Nobody would fit the part better than him. He is the meaning of after school football practices and making cheerleaders' panties drop with a wink and a smile. He also has the heart and the smarts underneath his muscles and good looks to bring dimension to his movie character that would surprise the protagonist in the best way and make you fall in love. (I mean, who wouldn't fall in love with him, anyway?) Not only does his character fit seamlessly into this AU/genre, but he embodies the genre itself. The cheesy romance bits of the plot, the corny jokes, and the underlying message to never give up on your dreams that always acts like a big brother to the viewing teens, just like Seungcheol does. He is the classic high school movie - a perfect way to settle into the movie marathon.
  • Jeonghan: Pre-Millennial Crime Thriller
  • That sounds like a very complicated title, but our Jeonghan is a very complicated and beautiful man. At first I wanted to call this one "1920's Mob Film", but I felt that was far too narrow. Mostly because crime dramas set in the 1960's and 70's are becoming very popular and Jeonghan fits that style very well along with the 1920's. So I believe this beauty would fit perfectly into any crime or mob movie set before the turn of the millennium. Mainly during the 1920's, 30's, or the 50's and 60's. His hair was just meant to be tucked neatly under a fedora and paired with a sharp suit that would have all his enemies shaking in their boots the moment they saw him coming. Because yes, he does have that beautiful, angelic face, but I feel that's what would make him the perfect crime boss. He would be the devil hiding in the angel's armour. Nobody would expect it from him until just a few moments before their tragic death. Slowly, over time, they would learn to fear this beautiful man, understand that this was his town and this angel was playing God not because he deserved it, but because he wanted it. I just feel like he's the human embodiment of soft music box music playing in the background of a murder scene during a movie like this, and I love it.
  • Joshua/Jisoo: Zombie Apocalypse
  • Joshua would be the Glenn of a Seventeen zombie apocalypse. (And because Glenn is my all time favourite character of everything I paired little Jisoo with the genre.) He'd be the good guy who survives strictly because he is good to others, and somehow manages to maintain his purity and morality even when the world goes to shit. That would be the best thing about him. He'd believe that others are still good and he'd high uphold the belief that no one should get left behind. He would be the guy who would often almost get killed trying to save other people. He wouldn't actually have many apocalypse survival skills, but his kind nature would find him with people to save his ass over and over again, no matter what trouble they had to go through doing so. Most would think that a badass type of person would embody the zombie genre, but I really think someone like Jisoo is it. He has the heart warming arch of the story, the loveable characters (you know, the ones you really, really don't want to die but probably get treated like shit anyway), and somewhere deep inside him he probably has the really dark parts that any good zombie movie has. But really he's probably more of a zombie comedy like Zombieland or Dead Before Dawn.
  • Jun: Vampire
  • Jun being the vampire genre is about as certain as the sun rising in the morning. He's a vampire through and through. But I believe he's his own breed of vampire. Not a classic, brooding dark creature of the night like Dracula, or a modern emotional sparkly lover like Edward, but a mix of sexual, adorable, funny, sassy, and something still very human that would make his vampire easily a romantic comedy or teen movie. He'd be the type to go around telling people he's a vampire, almost trying to scare them, and no one would believe him because he just doesn't seem like the type. And he'd drink blood out of those girly reusable athletic cups with straws in public, with no one actually knowing it's blood. He would be a lot like the vampires from My Babysitter's A Vampire, but with a twist of sexuality, and something a little more brooding. Because deep down he has realized his curse - being stuck between death and life for an eternity and having to kill to stay strong - and accepted it. He would just be the perfect main character, as well as the fact that he just embodies every aspect of every kind of vampire that has been portrayed on screen before.
  • Hoshi/Soonyoung: Summer Adventure/Feel Good Flick
  • Some of my all time favourite kinds of movies are the feel good summer movies about teens going on adventures and making some kind of growing leap or major character development over that summer. Like Now and Then, Whip It, The Sandlot, or the Goonies (which yes, I know that one was set in the fall). I feel like the spirit of these kind of movies also embodies a lot of music videos, like SHINee's View, which I really love. Hoshi himself is perfect for this kind of movie because he is a feel good summer adventure in human form. He's all the happiness and bright parts, all the interesting dips and turns in the plot that really keep the movie going. He's all the road trips, all the eating snacks out of crappy gas stations, sleepovers in rickety tree houses, bon fires on the beach, the best kind of montages to a great summer song (maybe Adore U?). Overall he's just a happy, bright little puppy that makes you feel really happy and bright like a great summer vacation and a great summer movie.
  • Wonwoo: Werewolf
  • As much as Wonwoo could be the ultimate emo vampire as well, I believe that his darkness can be channeled into hairy beast of the full moon. I was torn between him and Coups for this genre, but ultimately moody with a touch of puppy cuteness won out over heartthrob. I also feel that he has the mature side of a werewolf thriller or romance, and the silly side for when the genre is targeted toward a younger audience, like the show Teen Wolf (which I love, all time fav). And I mean he's just dreamy, and doesn't everybody have some weird werewolf kinky deep down?
  • Woozi/Jihoon: Magical Fantasy Land
  • My first thought with this one is Harry Potter. Woozi would be the perfect little pastel unicorn prince, slaying enemies with spells and making them bow down just with his cuteness alone. Even if it wasn't specifically Harry Potter, maybe it would be an Alice in Wonderland or Narnia, any magical fantasy would fit his personality and looks perfectly. The adorable shell with a serious, take charge and save the world undertone would belong there and make him the leader of the group or in any position of royalty if there was one - especially if there was some kind of magical "chosen one", he'd be it. Him just generally being ethereal, wise, and talented embodies this genre and if he was in a movie like this I'd watch it over and over again.
  • DK/Seokmin: Superhero Standby
  • There's nothing better than a good, classic superhero movie. Even the ones that are being made and coming out in 2015 seem to have all the classic elements to them, and that's what makes them so easy to love. Just like DK - he's a very classic kind of guy. Classic looks, classic humor, appears very easy going and easy to be around. That's why he would fit perfectly into the world of any classic DC or Marvel superhero (personally I'd go for DC, but that's just my preference). He could slip seamlessly into the role of ordinary citizen by day, and tall, handsome, muscled city saviour by night. His hero would be charismatic, loved by all, and not only treat the citizens as victims, but as everyday people that he loved and cared for. And if we really wanted to stir things up in this genre, DK wouldn't be the hero - he could be the shy, polite damsel in distress to our heroic female protagonist. Either way, Seokmin as a person has all the qualities of this genre - the humor, the drama, the energy, and the overall childish glamour that draws us all to loving superheroes and their adventures.
  • Mingyu: Low Budget Indie/Grunge Film
  • This is a very specific style of film-making, rather than a genre, that Mingyu (especially with his gorgeous silver hair) would fit into so brilliantly. There is a bit of cross-over between this and feel good summer movies, with movies like The Kings of Summer or Moonrise Kingdom, but the more unique thing I find about this genre is that the subject matter of these movies (mostly) is a lot darker. Usually of the nature of drug use and sex and abusive relationships. And what would our happy little Mingyu have to do with movies like this? It's really more about his aesthetic. Movies like this are all about aesthetic - there's entirely blogs dedicated to grunge, and a lot of movie screen caps end up on there - and his looks fit in perfectly. The sharply chiseled jaw, dark, smoky eyes, built form, and most of all, the silvery hair that really says grunge king. That and in my opinion, in the setting of one of these movies, he could turn on a dime from happy-go-lucky into the mystery, badass, soul punk that the story calls for. With an outfit change he could slip right into the world of a movie like How I Live Now, Hick, The Basketball Diaries, or a show like Freaks and Geeks.
  • The8/Minghao: Something Supernatural
  • One of the genres I definitely wanted to use was a supernatural one. Seemingly ordinary people having extraordinary powers (like the movie Push), demons and angels living in the suburbs, basically anything that would be the everyday plot of an anime. In this world, Minghao would be perfect in the role of the protagonist's best friend, the one who undoubtedly panics when he finds out what's really lurking in his world. But the protagonist would have nowhere else to go, no one else to turn to, possibly running from the government because of your abnormality, and you knew that Minghao would have your back. So you told him, disclosed to him all the freaky shit that goes on just under his nose, and at first he'd freak out. He'd deny it, he wouldn't really be able to cope. But then his heart would be right there in it. He would protect you no matter what, until his dying breath, doing anything to make sure you were safe. He would be the air of lightness, innocence, and maybe even comic relief that this genre needs.
  • Seungkwan and Vernon: Buddy Cop Movie
  • I know it might seem a little cheap to have two of them under the same genre, but you can't tell me these two wouldn't be the perfect pair of buddy cops. Just like Starsky and Hutch or the girls from The Heat, they'd have the perfect combination of bickering and die hard friendship to make their movie interesting and heartwarming. Seungkwan would be the paper work minded, rule driven, uptight cop that would be 100% about justice and putting the bad guy away, but doing it right. He would probably have some cheesy sap story from when he was a child about why he wanted to join the force in the first place that Vernon would brush off, but it would really get him in the gut. Vernon himself would be more of a dirty cop. He'd have more of a skewed idea of justice, but he'd get his bad guy no matter what it took. He would also be one to make jokes and ignore his paper work and this would bug the hell out of Seungkwan to no end. Together they would be the perfect cops, always get their man (or woman), and have a few laughs along the way. (Personally I would kill for this movie but that's just me.)
  • Dino/Chan: A Chosen One Story
  • This is the Divergent, Maze Runner, or maybe even Hunger Games type of story. Even though stories like this can vary drastically in their setting and details of plot, they usually do have a lot of aspects in common. Dino has all the traits of a protagonist in this kind of story; being young and uncertain, but having a great, strong heart and likely being able to overcome whatever is thrown at him with a smile. Even if he himself wasn't the Chosen One, he would make a great supporting character/best friend to the protagonist. I'm not really sure how else to go about explaining this, but Chan would be such a great character in a movie or even a series like this.

Little Mix “Get Weird” for new 80s themed album - Track By Track Review

Since the year 2000, how many pop albums have been branded “retro” for their ‘return to the 80s/90s’ sound? Well I don’t know either but I will take a wild guess and say that out of the probably 100s of albums claiming to do this, not many have done it as successfully as British pop girl group “Little Mix” have done with their third album “Get Weird”, and while there are some missteps along the way, this album is surely one of the most enjoyable pop albums of 2015 (and 1987 if it had’ve existed).

Black Magic

If you’re from Oceania or Australia or are just one of their 101 million youtube viewers, you definitely know this lead single, “Black Magic”. The start to this retro era and the album, the Little Mix girls storm into album with drums pounding, magic spells and a very 80s chorus channeling “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper (1983). At #1 for 3 weeks in the UK, this song is surely a classic that will have your grandkids questioning when exactly you were born while you reminisce on your childhood favorites.

Love Me Like You

The Second song, and second hit single from the album, Love Me Like You continues the group’s 80s theme, with a song that could very easily fit in any quintessential 1980s teen movies prom scene, as their Prom themed music video also suggests. It’s definitely slower than ‘Black Magic’ but still just as fun, and even though the lyrics are mostly about a lost love the girls want to reclaim because no one can “Love Me Like You”, you’ll find yourself dancing and bopping more than you would crying and weeping.

Weird People

Arguably the most 80s (tired of me saying ‘80s’ too?) song on the album, Weird People keeps up the album’s pace and theme, forcing you into a sort of musical time capsule. The song with its funky bass and classic vocoder support vocal, could fit right into the opening or ending credits of any of the decades classic movies (Most likely Ghostbusters due to its “weird people” lyrics). It screams and perfects retro. If only it wasn’t in mp3 quality I’d suggest tricking your parents/grandparents into trying to say they remember it.

Secret Love Song (f/ Jason Derulo)

Unfortunately the 80s party theme is put on hold here for the sake of a ballad collaboration with Jason Derulo. Unlike their previous album “Salute” (2013), Little Mix’s ballads on this album fall short of their standard. This song is pretty, but if you’re gonna interrupt 10 straight minutes of false (most of their demographic weren’t alive for the 80s or even much of the 90s) nostalgia, it better be amazing. Derulo adds a nice touch to the song, and their vocals of Perrie Edwards and him together are great for an album selling award show performance, but does anyone find it weird when a group of already multiple people collaborate with even more people?

And we’re back! Hair, the first promotional single from the album brings us back to the party, but this time we’re lost in the time capsule. While the song isn’t 80s themed, it’s also not current, or 90s or 70s. It’s basically its own sound that you won’t find on the radio or any pop albums today. That what makes it so good, and such a good filler song, a sort of interlude into their best song next: Grown

Arguably the best pop song of 2015, the girls deny the advances of a guy because they’re “Grown Now” and can “Hold their own”. With lyrics like “Your voice dropped, you thought that you could handle me” (your future instagram selfie quote), amazing harmonies, a horn beat drop (Honestly who else is doing this), and a stripped back vocal bridge, this is pop perfection. The bass is loud enough for this to be everyone’s 2016 “No Scrubs” type of song. The only thing here better than this song is the live version, Edward’s run in the bridge is presented more successfully than the album version, a testament to her and the Mix girls’ vocal abilities.

I Love You

This is the first effective ballad on the album. While it sounds like it could also fit on Selena Gomez’ Revival, the vocals and harmonies from 4 different girls give the song the extra push above Revival’s ballads. While Selena is the calm, and Demi Lovato is the storm, I Love You by Little Mix is the perfect breezy hour before the two swap out. Vocals are served, falsettos are used, emotions are touched.

Another theme finally! This song is definitely a mix between 80s pop, late 90s pop, and Britney bitch! The lyrics scream “Oops I Did It Again”: “Oh my god, I did it again” While it is definitely a filler song (seriously girls, please don’t even try to make this a single, there’re many better options) it’s great to have another themed song, and add towards the cohesiveness of the album

Any 2NE1 fan would love this song. It contains the darkest, most current production off the album and reminds you immediately of Come Back Home by the Korean pop girl group with its powerful beat drop. Asian market single? Definitely girls, just stay away from ‘OMG’. In addition to polished production, the girls also serve amazing vocals, both soft and harcore, throughout the entire song as well as a indistinguishable chant during the bridge most likely the girls ending every other group’s career, watch out Fifth Harmony. (Update: the chant is from an ancient 13th century Medieval Latin poem, truly ‘weird’ for a 2015 pop album girls right? but i’m loving it)

When I saw this song on the tracklist I thought, “Well they have a song about Adidas, this can’t be any good”, but actually it turned out to be their most grown up song on the album. The girls explicitly sing about “shh (sex) with you” to an 80s style bassline. With high falsettos and little yelps here and there, as well as its sexually suggestive lyrics, the song can’t be interpreted in any other way, and that’s the best way to transition into adult music. When their next album has a “Parental Advisory” sticker, kids can easily say “Well mom they’ve been singing about the same things for years now”. Good jobs girls

Love Me Or Leave Me

A typical Little Mix ballad, any fan knows the formula. However the vocals from Jade serve a kind of emotion matched by current emoters such as Adele or Demi Lovato, if only this was her song alone she would have you crying, but depending on who you are, the last half of the song may do that on its own.

The End

A small tear appears in my eye, it’s been a wild ride through decades of pop and to different countries and genres and it’s finally the end, but I don’t want it to end (thank god theres 4 extra bonus songs on the deluxe edition, go get it, it has a better cover art too). As cheesy as it sounds, The End is the perfect title to this song, the 80s theme of the album, and the relationship theme of the album. This song was one of my favorites since they sang it live at radio stations across America in July. As a testament to the group’s live vocals and harmonies, the studio version didn’t live up to my expectations. Maybe the fact that Edwards & her ex-fiance Zayn Malik had just broken up gave the live versions an extra push of emotion, or just the fact that their vocal producers were rushing can excuse this. The song is still just as beautiful, but the vocals don’t sound as emotive or cohesive as the numerous A+ live versions. Nonetheless, it works as a great ending to the album, and i’m always here for this group and an acapella.

Once again I say that this is one of the most enjoyable albums of the year, and while it does show a downgrade from their last album (They were made for R&B inspired music) it remains above the previous attempt at pop, DNA, their debut album. However the best part about this album is that it’s different. While most other girl groups go from generic pop to R&B to grow up, these girls have taken the step in a totally different direction, and while it can be seen as a downgrade, I think it’s better to credit their creativity. I personally am very excited to hear where they go next with their next album (hopefully the 90s/early 2000s).

Silence (part one)

So here it is! My new NaLu AU in which Lucy is the new student at Magnolia High but she has a special characteristic… she’s mute.

Pairings: NaLu, Gruvia, Gajevy, Jerza, others.

Setting: High School

Summary: Being new to the school wasn’t Lucy’s only problem; try being mute as well. Also add in being bullied for her disability, but fortunately for Lucy a pink haired male swore to protect her. Befriending the mysterious man, Lucy realized she wasn’t the only one with troubles in her life.

Lucy shifted her head to the right, looking at the vast school from her fathers car window. She seen students piling in the doors going to find their classes for the new school year. A tap on her shoulder brought her out f her daydream. Tearing her gaze away from her new high school she turned and faced her father, a soft look graced his face.

“Lucy dear, I know that nervous. Hell, I’m nervous for you. But I assure you we got you in all the proper classes and the best teacher aid to help you around.” Hearing his words, Lucy gave a slight nod and her own little smile.

Mavis knew she was nervous to start public school after being homeschooled for her whole life. She gulped, turning her sights back on her second home for the next eight months. Lucy reached her shaking hand, grabbing the door handle; trying to find enough courage to open the door.

“Do you have your class schedule?” Lucy held up a piece of paper, signifying she had her schedule.

“Backpack?” He questioned, seeing the light blue bag hanging off her right shoulder. When Lucy nodded, he sighed. He didn’t want to see his baby girl part from him. The two had been inseparable since her mother’s passing, even though all he wanted to do was sit alone in his bedroom and cry himself to sleep during those dark times. But he had an obligation as a father to make sure his daughter had closure before he did. The sound of the car door opening brought the elderly man out of his thoughts.

“Have a good day, Lucy.” She heard her father call through the ajared door. She twisted around to see him, giving him a little wave before closing the car door. She shifted back to the school, inhaling a deep breath before she made her way inside the unknown territory.

“Room 107…” Lucy thought to herself. She swore she’d been walking around in circles for the last ten minutes. Seeing a hallway she’s been down three times, she spotted a group of girls standing by a set of lockers. Lucy froze in her spot.

Did she have the gall to go over and see if they could help her? It wasn’t like she could ask them, all she could do was point to the classroom and hope they had enough common sense to understand what she meant. Looking up at the clock, she noticed that she only had a few minutes to get to class. Well, that explains why there wasn’t as many students lingering in the hallways. Sucking up her pride, she made her way over to the group.

She stood in front of the group, a polite smile on her face. They didn’t notice her presence until about a minute after she presented herself. Lucy seen the group of three give her a disoriented look.

“What do you want?” Lucy nearly flinched at the girls rude tone. Trying her best to not turn around and run, she lifted the piece of paper and pointed to the room number praying to Mavis that they got the message. The dull look she received told Lucy that the trio didn’t get what she was trying to say.

“Room 107? What about it?” When Lucy remained silent, the girls tempers flared. “If you’re not gonna tell us you can get lost.”

“Yeah, beat it!” The girl who hadn’t spoken yet shouted before shoving Lucy. Lucy wasn’t expecting to get pushed lost her footing, inevidently falling to the tiled floor with a loud thud. The blonde rubbed her aching backside as the trio of girls laughed at their actions.

“Nice one Mary.”

“That’ll teach her for ignoring us.”

“Thank you Kyoka, Briar.” Mary said with a celebratory smile on her face.

“Hey!” A new voice shouted. Lucy looked in the direction she heard the rushed footsteps coming from, eyes widening at the sight. A pink haired male, clad in dark blue jeans, a light red shirt with a black dragon decorating the right side finished with a pair of red converse, was dashing towards them.

“Oh great its the freak.” Lucy’s enhanced hearing caught what Briar had just said. The footsteps kept coming closer to them, when he finally reached the scene he positioned himself between Lucy and the three bullies.

“Whats your guys problem?!” His handsome voice shouted angrily at the trio of girls. Hearing them scoff at the boy like he was a nuisance. One of the girls stepped up to him, even though the boy was a few inches taller than he was.

“Listen Natsu. That thing invaded our personal space and wouldn’t back off. So, we had to resort to violent measures.” She explained, the other two girls laughing in the background proving what the girl had just said was a lie. She spotted Lucy’s class schedule on the ground, picking it up.

“Its quite funny though, her having the nerve to come up to us like that. She probably doesn’t even realize who we are.” She pushed passed the boy walking over to Lucy. Crouching down, Kyoka look into Lucy’s brown eyes with her blue piercing ones. “Theres only one thing you need to learn this year newbie.” Lifting the piece of paper in front of the blondes eyes, Kyoka ripped the paper in her hands into pieces so small there was no possible way that Lucy could see which classes she needed to go too. She let the shreds fall to the ground, and stood back up towering over the defenseless girl.

“You’re going to learn that you don’t mess with us.”

“Will you guys just leave now!?” Natsu was getting angrier each passing second, but he wouldn’t push the green haired woman out of the way. He would never lay a hand on a woman no matter how angry he was. Kyoka’s blue eyes bore into Natsu’s olive green ones.

“Seeing as if we only have a minute to class, we will. Come on Briar, Mary.” Kyoka said to her followers, who just gave dirty glance towards the duo before following their leader.

“Bitches man.” Natsu mumbled to himself before turning his attention back to the blonde girl who was still on the ground. “Hey, you okay?” She turned her head to look up at him and Natsu could see the glassiness of her eyes.

He waved his hands around frantically. “H-Hey its okay! Don’t pay attention to them, they’re the meanest girls in this joint. Their like that to everyone.” He held out his hand to her, offering to help her off the ground. He noticed she was a bit wary, but took his hand anyway. He gently pulled the girl up, hand still holding hers.

“I’m Natsu! And you are?” Lucy just looked to the ground confusing Natsu. His confusion was short lived as the first bell of the school year rang. “Ah shit! I’m late on the first day!” His expression turned solemn. “Erza’s going to kill me…” He seen the blonde put a hand over her mouth in a laughing way, but no sound was coming out. He was going to ask, but he didn’t want to be any later to class than he already was.

“What class are you going to?” When the blonde shrugged he gave a confused look.

“How don’t you-” Realization hit him. Kyoka had ripped up her class schedule. “Shit, well. The office will print you off a new one. Do you know where the office is?” Lucy shook her head no and Natsu sighed.

So much for trying not to be tardy once this year.

“Mirajane!” Natsu said making his way into the office with Lucy. Lucy observed as a gorgeous woman with long white hair and crystal blue eyes turned around to them, a pleasant smile on her face.

“Hello Natsu.” She responded. “Aren’t you suppose to be in class right now?”

Natsu sighed. “Yeah, well Kyoka and her followers ripped up this girls schedule and she doesn’t know where to go. Could you print her up a new one?” Mirajane looked behind Natsu too see the blonde, her face cutely flushed.

“Of course!” Mirajane beamed. “Can I just get your name sweetie?” The blonde’s face fell. Her heart beat racing feeling the stares of the other two in the room. She walked up to the counter of the front office, about to grab pen and paper when the sound of a bell chiming caught the trio’s attention. They turned their gaze to the front door where a short man clad in a brown suit waltzed in.

“Natsu Dragneel what kind of trouble are you causing now? It’s only the first day.” He grumbled angrily. Lucy seen how Natsu put his hands up in defense.

“Its not me Gramps! Kyoka and her bitch twins bullied this girl and tore up her schedule so I’m just trying to help her out! Honest!”

Makarov chuckled at the boys statement. “May Erza have mercy on your poor soul.” The short man turned to the blonde, eyes widening instantly recognizing who the female beside him was.

“You’re… Lucy Heartfilia correct?” The blonde nodded, relieved that the situation was averted. “I’ve spoke to your father quite a few times and informed me of your condition. The teachers aid we had set up didn’t pull through, so we’re looking for other options. But we did inform all your teachers of your situation.”

Natsu looked between the two. Condition? Teachers aid? Contacting her father? Telling the teachers? He looked to Lucy, seeing her just nod like she has been.

What exactly was wrong with this girl?

Noticing the awkward silence, Mirajane decided to speak. “So one schedule for Miss Lucy Heartfilia coming right up!” She said in a cheery voice heading over to the printer.  She pulled the piece of paper, walking back to the counter and handing it to the blonde.

“Looks like your first class is room 107 with Mr. Clive. I’ll write you two passes. Whats your first hour Natsu?”

“Oh, uh, same I have Gildarts too.” Natsu stumbled out, not completely out of his thoughts just yet. Mirajane finished the passes and handed them to Natsu.

“Have a great first day of learning you two!” Mira said waving them off. Natsu nodded his thanks, walking out the office doors behind Lucy. Still wondering what was wrong with the girl.

“So, your names Lucy huh?” Natsu asked trying to make conversation as they made their way to the classroom. Lucy nodded once again, not speaking.

He scratched the back of his head, trying to relieve some of his nerves. He couldn’t take when people didn’t talk, he couldn’t stand silence. “You don’t talk much do ya?” This time he got a different reaction, one that almost made him feel guilty for asking. She bowed her head almost shamefully, shaking her head from side to side.

He was about to speak again when he realized that they finally made it to room 107. “We’re here Lucy!” He said as happily as he could, trying to cheer her up at least a little bit. He seen her look up, her chocolate brown eyes brightening slightly. Natsu took a deep breath and turned the door handle to the door.

When he opened the door, he seen Gildarts writing some things on the chalkboard. The door suddenly made a noise, earning the attention of everyone in the classroom. Gildarts black eyes glaring at the students who interrupted his lesson.

“Oh its just you Natsu.” He said so nonchalantly Natsu took a little offense to it. Gildarts looked past him to the blonde standing behind him. “And who is this?”

“This is Lucy.” Natsu spoke for her.

“Ahhh so you’re the Lucy I heard about.” Gildarts remarked. “Well Lucy I am Mr. Clive, your history and homeroom teacher. Its a pleasure to have you in class.” He gave a teasing look to the pink haired male. “And my apologies that Natsu’s the first person you had to meet at your new school.”

Natsu felt a vein pop out of his forehead. “What the hell is that suppose to mean!?”

“Natsu watch yourself, I know who Erza has first hour.” Natsu audibly gulped at the mention of the red haired she devil. “Now, go ahead and find an empty seat. There will be a seating chart tomorrow, also get out a sheet of paper and a pencil for notes.” He instructed before the two made their way to their seats.

He watched Lucy as she set her backpack on the ground next to her, thinking the poor girl couldn’t even find her locker. She pulled out a blue and pink striped notebook along with a silver glitter pencil. He coughed awkwardly and leaned over his desk.

“Hey Luce, do can i borrow some paper and a pencil?” Lucy gave him an annoyed look but complied with his wishes.

“Thanks.” He said, not really expecting an answer back. He leaned back in his chair, ignoring the lector that Gildarts was giving. Suddenly an idea popped in his head. If Lucy wouldn’t talk to him, maybe she would write him!

Instead of taking notes, he scribbled the question that’s been bothering him since the office on the sheet of paper and handed it over to Lucy.  He seen her give a surprised look at the paper and tilted her head in his direction. He gave a sly grin, happy to see her unfold the paper and read his question.

“Why don’t you talk?”

Natsu watched as Lucy sighed, her eyes downcast. He wanted to apologize but seen her write down a reply and hastily throw the paper back at him. He quickly took the paper to open it up and see her reply.

“Because I can’t.”

Natsu was surprised at her short answer. He wrote down another question before quickly passing it back to her before their teacher seen it.

“What do you mean you can’t talk?”

The glare she gave him made him uneasy. She looked like she was about to reply to his message when Gildarts spoke up.

“Okay guys I don’t feel like teaching anymore today.” The older man said dropping the chalk and plopping down in his black mesh rolling chair. “Instead, we have a new student joining us today. Lucy, would you please come to the front?”

Lucy froze in her seat. It took her a moment before she got a hold of her senses and slowly stood up, making her way to the front of the classroom and stood face flushing feeling everyone’s gazes on her.

“This is Lucy Heartfilia. Please make her feel welcomed.”

“I’ll sure as hell make that cutie feel comfortable.” Someone spoke out making the class laugh out loud. Lucy felt uncomfortable by the comment, both Natsu and Gildarts could tell.

“Thats enough.” Gildarts roared, silencing the class. “Thank you Lucy, you may sit now.” Lucy didn’t need to be told twice, already mortified on her first day of public school.

She looked at the note on her desk, most importantly the question Natsu had asked her. She sighed before putting her still shaking hand to the paper and began to write. She finished her reply and handed the note to Natsu who instantly took it. Lucy put her head down, not wanting to meet his gaze when he found out her secret.

He took the note and unfolded it, eyes widening to the size of dinner plates when he seen her reply.

“I can’t talk because… I’m mute.”

Another Drarry Drabble

I was talking to justanotherdrarryblog about how I hate when Draco is made out to be really feminine and girly and this idea just came to me.

I love the idea of both boys being equally strong and masculine and each having their own sensitive sides without the need for a specific “male/female” distinctions.

Anyway an image of Draco, all dirty and doing some form of manual labour burst in to my head and i went with it. So here it is…

———— ooooooooooooooooooo ————

Making his way up towards the castle from Hogsmead Harrry kept his eyes firmly on the ground. He couldn’t bare to look up and see the ruin and destruction on the place he had considered home for the past 7 years.

It was a hot summers day and sweat trickled down his back as he trudged up the hill amongst their small group.

“You alright mate, you’re quiet.” Ron asked as he nudged Harry gently in the side.

“Yeah I’m fine. Sooner we start work repairing the castle the better.” Harry replied, smiling at his friend while being careful not to let his eyes fall on the ruins ahead of them.

“Well McGonagall is confident the castle will be up and running by the start of term.” Hermione explained from behind Harry.

“Should be, hundreds of people have signed up for the clean up and rebuild team so we should get a good amount done over the summer.”

Harrys stomach tightened slightly at the sound of Ginnys voice. Things were still tense between them since their break-up and he hadn’t been alone with her since he called it day on their relationship a couple of weeks ago.

The chatter continued as they walked through the gates and met up with Neville, Luna, Dean and Seamus. Harry could see many familiar faces standing around waiting for their orders. In the month since the Battle at Hogwarts little work had been done to the castle and the evidence of that night remained scattered around the courtyard and surrounding sloping laws.

Harry was glad that everyone seemed to be too busy taking their orders and separating into groups to lavish him with the attention that had worn him down since May. He was becoming tired of reliving those final moments for everyone and thankfully everyone here today seemed to understand they were amongst the scenes of many deaths and theres was a respectful peace and quiet despite the crowds.

“Right guys, lets crack on.” Neville shouted as he lead his team off to the Greenhouses with Proff Sprout.

Harry was left in charge of a group of 15-20 people working in the Great Hall. They used levitation spells to remove most of the debris but a number of younger students had volunteered to help and unable to do the spells they were lugging huge wheelbarrows of rubble around to back to be sorted and the good bricks taken out to be used for the rebuild.

Even using magic it was a tiring morning and the sun was blazing through the broken windows and huge gaping holes in the wall. Taking a quick break to grab a drink Harry wandered through one of the extra large holes at the front of the Hall which lead outside to side of the Courtyard.

He found a small group of people all lifting rocks, bricks and boulders by hand and piling them to the far side of the courtyard. They were sweating in the heat and it looked like heavy work.

“Why aren’t they using magic?” He asked Terry Boot who was also taking a break and downing a bottle of butterbeer beside Harry.

“They’re parents of some of the muggle born students” he explained. “They wanted to help with the rebuild and so McGonagall agreed to let them come along. They’ve been at it all morning they must be knackered.”

Harrys heart tightened as he watched the group working mercilessly in the mid-day sun. Finishing off his drink he made his way over to help them anyway he could. As he turned towards the back of the courtyard however the sight that greeted him stopped him in his tracks.

Draco Malfoy was there, in a battered pair of muggle jeans and a dirty tshirt, heaving up huge boulders with his bare hands and passing them along to the muggle parent beside him to dump in the wheelbarrow.

Harry didnt know which was the bigger shock, Malfoy getting his hands dirty or working besides muggles. As he stood staring he watched Malfoys wipe his brow which was glistening with sweat. The white shirt he was wearing was filthy and clung to his chest and back with perspiration. His hair, which Harry was used to seeing neatly gelled and combed was dishevelled and his fringe fell in to eyes.

He looked incredibly sexy.

Trying to reign in wandering thoughts Harry found himself walking over, catching Malfoys eye as he looked up from the pile of rubble.

“Potter.” He said quietly in greeting as Harry approached. Up close Harry could see the dirt on Malfoys face and the outline of his chest muscles where he tshirt clung to him. His mouth began to water and he swallowed thickly.

“I’ll take over if you want a break.” Harry said to the man working beside Draco. He looked at Harry with a grateful expression before heading off to the refreshment tent down by the lake.

Without speaking, Malfoy simply carried on as though the interruption hadn’t happened, passing Harry the debris he pulled from the pile and Harry tossed it in to the nearest barrow. Harry found the physical work was satisfying and they continued for some time without speaking.

Harry tried to keep his eyes away from Malfoys toned arms as he lifted the heavy stones. Memories of Malfoys body crushed up against his own as Malfoy clung to Harry for dear life suddenly flooded Harrys brain. He had thought of that moment as they escaped the fire every day.

He had been unable to stop thinking about the way Malfoys arms had held him, the way his breath ghosted across Harrys neck and his heart had drummed wildly under Malfoys tight firm grip.

He shook his head, bringing his mind back to the present.

“Why arent you using magic?” He eventually asked.

“I wanted to do it properly, physically, with my bare hands. I used magic to help destroy the place. I want to rebuild it with blood sweat and tears if i have too.” Malfoy replied without looking at Harry.

Remembering how he felt when digging Dobbys grave Harry understood exactly what Malfoy meant.

“I get it.” He said simply and Malfoy stopped and turned to face him. His eyes looked hard and blazing and there was an expression on his face Harry had never seen before.

He held Harrys gaze for a moment, a small frown puckering his brow.

“Thank you for returning my wand.”

“You already thanked me.” Harry said, surprised at the sudden change of topic.

“Yes, but not in person. It was good of you to take the time to return it. I am grateful.” He said quietly.

Harry looked at the pale face in front of him which was so familiar to him now. Yet the changes were remarkable. Harry realised he had never seen Malfoy without a sneer or a snarl of some kind. Gone were the cold grey eyes and instead Harry found a pair of wide, molten eyes holding his gaze.

“It was no problem.” Harry replied and was mortified that his voice was broken and hoarse. Malfoy had consumed his thoughts for weeks now and standing here in front of him now, Harry had lost the ability to focus.

He had no explanation for where these feelings had come from. He found himself looking for mention of Malfoy in the Prophet and he had stared at a photograph of Malfoy leaving the Ministry hearings for longer than he’d ever admit.

Malfoy took a deep breath breaking Harrys daydreams. He looked up to see Malfoy wiping his face with the bottom of his tshirt, exposing his toned, sweat sheened stomach. Harry cleared his throat loudly and tried to pull his eyes away. As he looked up, he caught Malfoys gaze and heat pooled in his stomach as he found a blazing look in those grey eyes. He realised he was licking his lips and his stomach tightened further when Malfoys eyes flickered down to Harrys mouth.

“Do you want to take a break?” Malfoy asked suddenly.

Harry nodded, scared to speak and hear the longing in his own voice. He dropped the bricks he was holding into the barrow and turned towards the lake and the refreshment tent set up on the banks. But Malfoy was moving in the opposite direction, around the side of the courtyard to where huge piles of debris had already been sorted. Frowning, harry followed blindly, somewhere in the back of his mind aware that following Malfoy to an abandoned area of the castle was probably not his wisest decision but unable to find it in himself to care.

They walked silently for a few minutes, Malfoy leading the way. The noise of rubble being shifted faded in to the distance and soon, all Harry could hear was their footsteps as they scrambled over rocks and castle ruins.

Malfoy stopped abruptly and Harry walked straight into his back. He briefly noticed the smell of Malfoys sweat, which was sweet and mixed with the smell of his shampoo before Malfoy turned suddenly, facing Harry and standing just inches away.

“I’ve been meaning to contact you Potter. To say thank you for everything you did at my trial.” Malfoy said quietly and his voice was unrecognisable to Harry. He wasnt drawling or spitting vicious insults. His voice was soft and quiet and hearing it made something deep inside Harry burn.

“I only told the truth.” Harry replied, not at all surprised to find his voice was a whisper.

“But you didnt have to. If it wasnt for you I’d be rotting in Azkaban right now, and we both know it. I wanted to thank you, i just, couldnt find the words.” He went on, taking a small step closer to Harry as he spoke.

Harry was rooted to the spot, fighting every impulse to lean in and close the gap between them. Trying hard not to try and make sense of these new and confusions emotions thundering through him, Harry took a deep breath, his eyes travelling over the face before him.

“I guess sometimes, there are no words.” He whispered, leaning forward slowly and inhaling Malfoys scent.

“No, there arent.” Malfoy replied and he suddenly grasped Harrys face, cupping it gently but firmly in his hands as he pulled Harry closer and kissed him.

As their lips met Harry felt all the tension and stress inside him unwind and was replaced with a fierce, burning lust. His hands came up to snake through Malfoy’s hair and as his tongue traced a delicious line along Malfoys bottom lip, he heard a loud moan of pleasure and wasnt sure it came from him or from Malfoy.

Desire thundered through him and he felt every ache, every pain he was carrying melting away as Malfoy assaulted him with warm wet kisses.

He tugged at Malfoys tshirt pulling it up over his head to allow him to lick a trail down from Malfoys collar bone and circle his nipple. His skin tasted salty and as Malfoys hands reached around grabbing Harrys arse and pulling them closer, he bit down on Malfoys chest, leaving an angry red mark.

Their clothes were discarded with a desperate haste and as Malfoy pushed him against the wall, he caught a blazing look in his eye that made his cock stiffen further. He wanted Malfoy, needed him so much it was aching. He dropped to his knees and took Malfoys hard, throbbing prick in his mouth and sucked like his life depended on it. He could feel the tremors of pleasure rippling through Malfoy as he gripped his thighs and as moans and whispers of appreciation fell from his lips, Harrys arousal soared.

He felt hands in his hair roughly pulling him to stand and Malfoys mouth was on his again before he could catch his breath. As he was pushed hard against the wall he felt the coarse stone of the castle wall rubbing at his back, in contract to soft skin that was pressed up against his front.

“I want to thank you properly Potter..” Malfoy whispered against his neck as he sucked Harrys earlobes, sending a shiver down Harrys neck and back.

“Mmmm…” He replied, unable to remember how to speak.

“I want to fuck you until you cry with pleasure and show you how thankful I am.”

Malfoys voice was almost a growl and Harrys stomach felt like it had taken a blow from an angry bludger. Malfoy wanted to fuck him? The thought terrified him and aroused him equally and his cock seemed to twitch at the mere thought.

“Malfoy,” he whispered as the blonde dusted light kisses along his jawline.

“Fuck me. I want you to fuck me.” He heard himself say.

Malfoy stopped kissing him and looked up, their eyes meeting as they stood almost nose to nose. Something was alight, dancing in Malfoys eyes and he licked his lips before turning Harry slowly to face the wall. Bracing himself and trying to steady his breathing Harrys heart drummed wildly as Malfoy licked and kissed his way down Harrys back.

Not being able to see what he was doing was making Harrys nerves stand on end and as he felt a hot wet tongue trace across the back of his knees he sagged, resting his forehead against the wall.

Malfoy moved his tongue slowly up the back of Harrys thights and the sensation was making Harrys eyes water. He brought a hand up to stroke his now aching cock and he heard Malfoy gasp from behind him.

“Fuck Potter.” He growled before punging his tongue between Harrys arse cheeks and licking at his arse hole.

The shock made Harrys breath escape his body in one short blow and he was about to flinch away when Malfoys tongue swirled and made his head spin. He could hear himself panting and moaning and he would have been embarrassed if what Malfoy was doing didnt feel so incredible.

He grunted as Malfoy stopped and was about to beg him to carry on when he felt breath on his neck and a hand came across as Malfoy leaned on the wall infront of them.

“Tell me you want me.” Malfoy whispered at his ear as he rubbed the head of his cock at Harrys tight hot entrance. Harrys hips cantered back of their own accord, inviting Malfoy to breach him.

“Oh god, i want you Malfoy, i want to fuck me. Please, do it, i need you to it.” He groaned, the anticipation making him claw at the wall as his hands balled in to fists.

“Fuck..” Malfoy breathed across his neck ad he slowly pushed himself in to Harry. Once his hips were flush with Harrys arse he paused, taking short sharp breaths as he griped Harrys hips with hand. The other hand moved from the wall in front of them and grasped Harrys face, turning it slightly to face him. He found the corner of Harrys mouth with his tongue and licked a wicked, slow line before suddenly bucking his hips, thrusting in and out of Harry and pushing him in to the wall.

Stars burst in front of Harrys eyes and he hands were flat against the wall, doing everything he could to hold himself up right as Malfoy fucked him in to the stone. Their voices were broken as they each elicited moans of pleasure and as Malfoy pressed himself heavily against Harry, breathing hot breaths into his neck Harry thought of that broom ride and the heat from the feindfyre. If possible, his body felt hotter now that it didn then.

His climax was building rapidly and he brought a hand up to stroke himself in time with Malfoys thrusts. As he arched his back and pushed his arse against Malfoy he heard a strangled cry as Malfoy came hard behind him. The noise alone was enough to finish Harry off and he spilt his own climax against the wall.

Malfoys head dropped on to Harrys shoulders and his breathing was hard and fast in Harrys ears.

Wincing slightly as Malfoy pulled out of him Harry turned to face the other man, afraid of what he would find when he looked back in to his eyes. Relief crashed over him as he saw the same warm, open look that was there moments before. They held each others gaze for a long moment, before Harry spoke, unable to take the silence.

“I should be thanking you, for that day in the manor. I never did come and thank you properly.” He mumbled, still unable to get his voice to work properly.

Malfoy grinned suddenly and the sight was such a shock that Harry gasped quietly. He stepped up closer to Harry, wrapping his arms around him and pulling him close until their foreheads were pressed together.

“Im sure we can think of someway you can thank me.” He whispered, as he pressed a soft kiss to Harrys lips.

Tokyo Ghoul:re Chapter 35

So, not many questions this week. This week we focus on Kanae and Shuu’s relationship and Sasaki’s visit to HySy.

Shuu and Kanae

scarlet-flowers said: Do you think Tsukiyama is dead? I’d love to hear your thoughts on Chapter 35 with the Tsukiyama scenes.

So, leaving the flashbacks aside, we first have Shuu going crazy:

Then Kanae manages to pin him down:

And then some servants give some powder to Shuu; I assume it was a sedative:

After he calms down, he can’t remember what he did, so he asks Kanae why are they there and Kanae lies to him:

Then Shuu thanks them and apologizes to Kanae and everyone for his current state, in which he can’t do much and has to depend on them.

And then Shuu asks Kanae to take care of the family:

Anon said: What exactly happened to Tsukiyama after he finished throwing his fit? I’m probably wrong (and I hope I am), but it seemed as though he died? The last thing he said in the chapter almost sounded like last words. That, and that Kanae was sobbing. Also, thank you for all of your hard work! It’s always very interesting reading your analyses.

I assume he didn’t just mean his father but also the servants. They know Kanae and ask him for help; Mirumo even takes care of him ever since he was a kid, so Kanae must be one of the older and more important servants.

By telling him that the family is in his hands, Shuu is giving Kanae authority to take decisions during the time he is unable to do it himself, which based on his choice of words, Shuu probably think he’ll never get better.

As for why was Kanae crying, he’s quite sensible; having to use force against someone you deeply care for combined with those words would break anyone.

Of course, there’s still a possibility Shuu indeed died, but I doubt it: he’s one of Ishida-sensei’s favourites and he is really important to the story, so I don’t think he’s actually dead.

Thanks for the support! (*≧▽≦)

Anon said: Ooh it’s my first time submitting an ask! Ok so I’m confused about Kanae in the recent chapter? I don’t understand what Hori means by him “giving up his family” for Tsukiyama’s sake. Why did he smash his head on a tree several times and feeling so conflicted? Also, what did they put in Tsukiyama’s mouth when they were holding him down? A sedative? Thank you!!

Welcome! Thanks for the question. I still don’t know what Hori meant, but based on Kanae’s thoughts, I think she was refering to Kanae abandoning the Tsukiyama household:

However, given Shuu’s last words, he can’t leave now, even though it would be the better option to keep the Tsukiyama family safe from the CCG. That’s why he mentions this:

He smashed his head against a tree as a way of coping with the great amount of hate he has against Chie, Kaneki and Sasaki:

Anon said: on the panel where kanae says he’ll take care of shuu in page 7 of the update theres an “XI” on his forehead, i think. any thoughts?

Okay, so I actually struggled a lot to see it. Sorry if I messed up and you weren’t referring to that. To be honest, I doubt that’s meant to be a tarot reference. At any rate, it’d be Strength or Justice:

  • Strength:
    • Upright: Strength, courage, patience, control, compassion
    • Reversed: Weakness, self-doubt, lack of self-discipline
  • Justice:
    • Upright: Justice, fairness, truth, cause and effect, law
    • Reversed: Unfairness, lack of accountability, dishonesty

As you can see, it doesn’t really fit the context.

Uta and Sasaki

Anon said: Hello hello! I wanted to ask you if you had any idea or heard of ahat the meaning behind the painting/pic (looks like a demon or a deformed dog?) on the wall on the left panel of pg 18 on TGre ch35 is? Thank you!!!

I assume it’s just a mask design of some sort.

secondangels said: I’m not sure if it was just the light/shading, but did Uta’s hair look like it was turning white in the new chapter?

I think it’s just the light; Ui’s hair looked like that last chapter too:

Later on, however, his hair looks black:

Anon said: what do you think about Sasaki visiting Hysy at the end of the new chapter? Uta seems pretty open about the fact that he is a ghoul, being that he didn’t bother to put on glasses/cover his kakugan. do you think he’ll be pretend to be friendly with him like he did with Kaneki in the past, or will he harm Sasaki in some way? Kudos to all of your hard work, by the way.

Uta has never hurt Kaneki directly; while he did seem to have fun over his tragedy, he always tried to help Kaneki in everything he could, even going as far as to go to Aogiri’s hideout and calm him down there:

Thanks for the support! ヾ(^∇^)

Anon said: In chapter 35, when Sasaki meets Uta, he didnt hide his kakugan(the last panel), yeah we never see him with ‘normal eyes’, but still… Its kinda odd show it to a stranger.. even though he know Sasaki is Kaneki…

We need to consider that Sasaki is probably there because of this:

Either he remembered the shop (meaning he remembered Uta) or he had to investigate to find the shop. In that case, he probably figured out that the mask was a ghoul’s mask (his) and that it was probably made by another ghoul (Yamagata Tsumugi’s case was considered as weird by ghouls, so I assume not many humans make masks); I guess he was expecting to find a ghoul.

We also need to consider this:

Why is Haise at HySy? Does he want to know about his past or is he just curious as to why did Uta send him a mask? I doubt he’s there because of his work, mostly because the Rose case has nothing to do with the Clowns (as far as we know).

And finally, this:

Anon said: Can you tell us something about the Tarot Card 9 (Kanae’s tears) and Tarot Card 10 (Uta’s headphones)?

Longer analysis than usual because it feels weird to post something so small.

  • Tarot (IX) The Hermit:
    • Upright: Soul-searching, introspection, being alone, inner guidance
    • Reversed: Isolation, loneliness, withdrawal

So, either way, it means that Kanae feels alone without Shuu. Even further than that, the card shows a man alone with a single light; this means Shuu is Kanae’s only light. Without him, he feels like his life has no purpose:

The card also represents learning to be alone without feeling lonely, so Kanae will need to learn to live without depending on Shuu.

Reversed, it means that you don’t want to move forward because of fear, which supports that Kanae will have to leave the Tsukiyama family, but he needs to overcome his fear first.

  • Tarot (X) The Hermit:
    • Upright: Good luck, karma, life cycles, destiny, a turning point
    • Reversed: Bad luck, negative external forces, out of control

So, we have two contradicting meanings here, which I doubt are about Uta; rather, they are about his conversation with Sasaki and the possible outcome of it. It could be good and Sasaki will find out positive, important information about Kaneki and their past (which could lend to an easier personality merge), or it could be bad and Sasaki will have one of his painful flashbacks and be more unstable (which could lend to one of them disappearing). Also, assuming Uta behaves, Sasaki will probably confirm what Hinami said here:

This could make him even more curious of his past and the people who he used to know.

So, that’s that. I’ll be making a little analysis on the poem “Regenlied” tomorrow, as well as answering some questions about the recently introduced characters and Touka’s birthday art. Have a good night, guys o(〃^▽^〃)o

im gonna try to keep this short [failed] as to WHY this is complete and utter bullshit

gonna throw this out there now, i did like the movie for its MESSAGE not the bullshit narusaku assumptions, it did have its crappy moments but nothing’s perfect, moving on

where in road to ninja was there a POSITIVE narusaku moment? go head and try theres nothing positive in narusaku’s favor in this movie, NONE and here’s why

we get off to a bad start anyway, everybody’s got their parents to recommend them to become Jounin’s but Naruto and when Naruto trys to interrupt Sakura from being too hard on her parents she tells him to mind his business, wow so positive, but how is that an argument? dont worry there’s more

fast forward to Sakura’s argument with her parents as she leaves the house she runs into an already depressed Naruto and drags him off on an ‘escape’ date just to avoid her parent’s, hell even Naruto said it himself!

he’s well aware he’s being used as a decoy, yet this counts as positive? get serious but dont worry, there’s more

this by far is my most hated scene of the movie and if you watched it you can already guess what it is, the SWING scene omg that was just AWFUL i admit if SP wanted to paint Sakura in a terrible light they did a GREAT job at it, Naruto is already feeling shitty about his situation and everybody having familys and just look at what she says

are you fucking kidding me!? do i even need to explain why that’s bad for narusaku? just look at him!

Naruto is even getting fed up with it, and how does she respond? she doesnt realize her wrongs in saying that to someone who lost both their parents RIGHT AFTER HE WAS BORN and apologize, no, she ACCUSES him of taking her parents side and has the audacity and stupidity to say this

are you kidding me!!!????? did SP completely forget the manga!? because i cant believe Sakura would be that STUPID! do i even need to tell why this is fucking stupid? at the very early stages of the manga when they all still friggin genin Sakura said similar things about Naruto infront of Sasuke and what did he say?

nuff said…im fucking done with that scene, that was NOT positive in NaruSaku’s favor and im gonna leave it at that

fast forward to the AU world in which Sakura has everything she wanted, she doesnt have her parents to nag and yell at her and tell her how to take off her boots how to do this do that

and Naruto can clearly see that Sakura’s enjoying it and not really trying to get home

while she’s enjoying herself and her freedom how does Naruto feel? he wants to gtfo and go home

but does this change anything? NO, even when he encounters his AU parents hes beyond all furious and hurt because of course he wants his parents back but not as phony’s, and yes Sakura does appear sensitive, but not really, because the only time Sakura got her shit together and wanted to go home was on HER terms when SHE got lonely and missed HER parents for once and got played by Sasuke, yeah i feel the positive in that decision

oh but wait, we have this lovely scene here

ah yes, she rushes to Naruto’s house after realizing she was wrong and that she’s ready to go home but what does she find? now HE’s happy with HIS family in this fake world just like SHE was happy without HER family in this fake world, oh how the tables have turned, if it wasnt obvious, NOW NARUTO DOESNT WANNA LEAVE EITHER

then we get THAT lovely scene, looks happy doesnt it? NO! now Sakura wants to leave and Naruto doesnt even though they dont say it and they part ways, Im sorry but am I the only one who has yet to find anything positive? oh right

he saved her, gee i wonder how many time’s he’s done this in the anime and manga? get serious, no matter what Naruto will ALWAYS save Sakura as well as anyone else who needs it, but yes, this counts as positive but NOT in a romantic way, after all Itachi saved her too

but in the end everything goes back to normal and Sakura reconciles with her parents and apologize, Naruto smiles happy for her and brings up the date again but Sakura responds that she just BEEN on a really long date with him, AGAIN back to the negative, how the fuck was that a date? and just because it was comic relief does NOT make it positive in their favor sorry, and even though Sakura learned a lesson for her own situation and to appreciate her parents more, what about her lesson towards Naruto? did he get an apology? was she there for him after this? did she even give a pep talk? NO

know who was there for him and apologized?

Iruka muther fucking Sensei, he understood Naruto, he was there for Naruto, he APOLOGIZED to him for being hard on him before, he COMFORTED him by being there when he got home saying happy birthday and the words Naruto’s always wanted to hear when he came home 'welcome back, Naruto’

Im sorry but THATS what Naruto needed and Sakura gave NONE OF THAT during this movie!!! and dont get me wrong this isnt anti Sakura after all this is a movie and it ISNT canon and everything of Sakura officially as a character is 100% in the manga so i DO like Sakura and this isnt to bash her in any way

but i hate when people whether their pro narusaku or anti narusaku or whatever call this an narusaku movie because it WASNT, this movie had a much deeper meaning and message thats often overlooked, and that was the value of parents, to appreciate your parents because no matter what they will ALWAYS be there for you and when their gone its a pain you cannot imagine untill you’ve lost them and once you have you will always miss them

but it doesnt have to mean your alone, because even though Naruto thought he was alone and had no one, who was there for him? Iruka, but nothing can ever take the place of your parents, even so there are STILL special people out there who have a place in your heart and can lift you up when your feeling down

NaruSaku as a pairing was NOT pushed in this movie nor glorified in any way, SP did not promote NaruSaku they DESTROYED it, the message was family NOT narusaku

and for those of you who say this destroyed SasuSaku too, two words for you

chapter 700

anonymous asked:

top five favorite moments from disney movies?

In no particular order…

  • Mulan cutting her hair, this scene is just really powerful, the music track “Short hair” is gorgeous in every way and all the little symbolic things that happen in here are fantastic. Like Mulan picking up the scroll and leaving behind her hair piece (Meaning like..leaving behind her old self and taking on this new role and in Asia when a someone cuts their hair this drastically it means somewhat the same thing but more along the lines of moving forward and letting go of the past)  Everything that happens is breathtaking from her watching her parents and see how heartbroken they are, to Mulan paying her respects to her ancestors cause she knows whats shes doing could bring dishonor to her family. Mulan is my favorite hero from a Disney Movie, she’s just a fantastic character.

  • Rapunzel dancing in the town square, while I love the lantern scene this is my favorite from Tangled. Kingdom Dance in my opinion is the best track on the Tangled soundtrack. How Rapunzel interacts with all the people is adorable, just seeing how well she is able to is remarkable really seeing how shes had no interaction with people, kinda shows you that in her heart she still has a love for her people even if she doesn’t know shes a princess. Also here is where we get to see Rapunzel and Eugenes relationship blossom and my god how much I love these two, my favorite Disney couple. He buys her gifts and Rapunzel takes him to the library and reads him all kinds of books, while the scene is short it shows that in the short day they did so much together and I just find it adorable.

  • Circle of life from Lion King. Okay this whole movie is just a cinematic masterpiece so its hard to chose one moment from it, especially since it has my all time favorite villain, Scar (love him). Disney always does a great job at giving you a look into the story from the opening sequence but Circle of Life did it better then any other movie has. It tells you basically what the core of the movie is about and the circle of life is quoted many times throughout the movie. Plus who can’t help but sing along to this song, even if you don’t know the first part! All in all a remarkable scene.

  • Hellfire from Hunchback of Notre Dame. While Scar is my favorite villain, Hellfire is my favorite Disney villain song. This scene is so powerful, probably one of the most vile disney songs out there. Frollos lust for Esmerelda is so powerful that he is more then willing to kill and burn down Paris just to have Esmerelda as his own. “Destroy Esmerelda and let her taste the fires of hell or else let her be mine and mine alone.” The backing choir and the vocals provided by Tony Jay make this a hauntingly beautiful experience.

  • Any scene with Nani and Lilo from Lilo and Stitch, Lilo and Stitch will forever and always be my favorite Disney movie. While Frozen did a good job at portraying a sisterly bond, Lilo and Stitch did it a million times better. This movie took a chance at touching on some serious topics and it came out wonderfully. How Nani is doing all she can to take care of Lilo even though she is barely an adult. How Nani knows how different Lilo is compared to her “friends” but doesn’t try and change her, she embraces her sister for who she is and lets her express herself in whatever way possible, even if it is getting her collection of fat people photos developed to put on her wall. Nani is one of the strongest females in Disney imo and I can go on about her for ages. She is always thinking of her sister, like when they first got Stitch and the adoption lady said “Stitch isn’t a real name” Nani quickly stopped her because if Lilo thought it was a good name thats all that matters, then theres little things like how when she got fired because of Stitch she didnt put any blame on them, instead she responded with “The managers a vampire and he wanted me to join his legion of the undead.” This probably something Lilo has mentioned before and Nani said this to make Lilo not feel guilty about her being let go. At one point, Cobra comes to take Lilo away and Nani has to tell Lilo, in her own way that she won’t be around anymore. Aloha O’e is short and simple and packs a punch, theres no backing music, no shiny special effects, no long discussion but it alone is so powerful. Nani can’t physically say “We wont be together” so she sings her feelings in this short song and it breaks my heart everytime. I won’t go on about Lilo cause that will take too long LOL but yeah. Any scene with these two is pure gold and I love them so much.

Great! Another Lucaya shipper who grasps at straws, makes a big deal out of everything and pulls theories out of their ass. Like woah! There's a spear x2 and maya steps back and you can like see her in the corner behind. Meanwhile Lucas is quoting freaking Romeo TO RILEY. That stuff means nothing GAWD where the hell are you getting this from

Hum… Okaaaay… I suppose my latest post prompted this very abrasive “ask”. Where am I getting that “stuff” from? Well… I don’t know… Maybe the 7-8 years of my life I spent dabbling in theater (acting/directing), or, say, by applying some basic critical thinking skills?!

I always say YMMV, and my conclusions are always conditional - evidence from the show à l’appui - but that you are free to take however you want. Things are always up to interpretation and I love debating and hearing different opinions - if you’re able to voice them rationally. What you’re saying is, well, a little offensive for me, but it’s actually really insulting to the writers, the production crew, the actors, the editing team, and like the whole art form of TV/film/performance arts.

Do you know that people discuss and specifically select props and choose when and how to use them? Do you know that, in theater, actors are directed as to where, when and how to move on the stage (sometimes even with colored tape to indicate exactly where they need to move) - there’s a reason it’s called performance arts; it’s physical. It’s not just delivering lines and standing there all pretty and costumed. There’s a whole nonverbal dimension to it (like there is in life tbh, and if you don’t get that, you must have some piss poor communication skills). Why am I harping on the theater thing? Well, that particular post is about two scenes that take place on an actual stage and are tied to one of the most famous plays in history. There’s a whole lot of meta and weight and symbolism involved by that fact alone. And the fact that this is TV?! well, TV has all that and more, a tool that theater doesn’t: a camera, that can frame, pan, zoom in/out, track, select angles to present the subject in even more detail. It’s visual. You have cinematography and editing, where people pour over all their material and string it together to form the complete message. Of course you’re not gonna absorb all that detail by just casually watching the show - I DIDN’T when I first watched the show, like so many others. It’s not grasping at straws: all I’m doing is, literally, taking what’s SHOWN on the show, and assembling that evidence, providing a supported interpretation.

Oh! and Maya is actually pictured, in that gif set, at a certain point directly in the middle of your screen, with Riley *between* Lucas (who’s facing that way) and her. She’s not just coincidentally there “in the corner” - and as I said, why not have her just out of the scene, why choreograph her movement, and go out of your way to keep her in frame? Because it means something. You tell me what it means if you don’t agree with my take on it, but don’t deny it’s there - I’ve giffed it for posterity. If you don’t like it, scroll down and ignore, no one’s forcing you to look/read.

And as for Lucas “quoting” Romeo to Riley, I probably would be wasting my time if I got into the irony and the subtext for that (*cough* role-playing *cough* tragedy *cough* go read the play *cough* it’s Romeo and Juliet and Farkle).

And if you’ve got more flaming remarks and hate to fling my way:

(Woah, this got out of hand… Oopsy. I guess I serve an extra helping of sass after 2 glasses of wine.)

this is from someone who has known you since you were a fat scene bitch: you need to get over yourself and figure out what you're going to do with your life before your daddy decides to stop paying for your fancy shit and fake-ass rock star new york city life. it's pathetic that you have shit to say about your old friends when your the one who thinks your some fucking princess beauty and theres no way your paying your own rent. id say come back to volusia mall but youd have no friends here, so.

ok i know i rly shouldnt be encouraging ppl like this but im in a typing mood and i think its time for ppl llike you, whoever you are, to learn a lil bit about my life that you have chosen to exclude yaselves from-

first of all- i don’t have “fancy shit”, and my dad doesn’t pay for anything. my parents each have their own nice houses because they are both hardworking professionals. i know as soon as i moved away to pursue my career (and surround myself w ppl i have things in common with for the first time ever) that rumors spread about my dad’s job because he’s a lawyer. my parents had me when she was my age – considering how many of my former “friends” have children of their own now, i’m sure you can understand how difficult their lives were, and my dad was a PUBLIC DEFENDER for the state of florida for 10 years (go look up dat salary). he’s now worked his way up to a higher position because he does a great job, but my parents have never ONCE bought me a THING since i turned 18 (when i got my job at the mall while i was in college and bought my own gas to fill up the car i bought to drive all my license-less friends around). when i moved to new york, i lived with my boyfriend until i was able to pay my own rent by saving my own money that i made from my own music (that i also made on my own). my parents raised me to work for what i want and believe that no matter what it is i aspire to do, working hard will get me there. i live in a comfortable apartment with a good friend because i am lucky to have found such a nice situation that i can afford, and the reason i can afford it is because neither of my bedrooms have windows.

people wonder all the time how i make money, and it’s not that complicated- i make about half my money from shows, and the rest from licensing songs (people paying me to use them in their films/tv shows/commercials), writing for blogs, acting in films and short films, DJing, and planning/hosting/promoting parties. my “rock star life” (lmfdaooo) does not exist- i go to a lot of parties because my friends are part of an industry that is based on parties and entertaining. i go on tours that are much more emotionally and physically taxing than anyone really understands- i spend a lot of time in gross vans, shitty hotel rooms all alone, and traveling by myself which is a thing that fucking terrifies me. i would certainly not be able to afford to do many of the things i do if they weren’t part of my job, and i am grateful to have a cool job that allows me to have fun. then again- all of that comes with a hustle that makes my life a lot more hectic and stressful than i’m sure it seems to a town full of people who work their hourly jobs and spend the rest of their time drinking beer and lurking my instagram. i don’t understand why people i used to care about decided to vilify me as soon as my life changed, but it certainly wasn’t my decision at all and im sry for whatever i did to make myself into ur enemy and i still don’t know what that could possibly be— but i also don’t care. anyone who’s bored enough to spend their time leaving me anonymous messages just to try and hurt my feelings seems like kind of a lame ass anyway, and i hope yall read this and screencap it to ya facebooks and go back to the junkyard saloon for ya folk-punk shows. i’m very happy to be very far away from all your catty attitudes, and i’m really sorry that you’re still stuck inside that world.

Kat's Rant [Grab Popcorn]

Hey there Darlings, take a seat and just grab some popcorn because this is going to be another Kat Rant. –Insert cute little tune-

I’m going to be covering quite a few bases today which would be why it’s alright for us to call some things bad writing and how it’s not just because were upset about Beth. Then were going to move on to why even though people think Gimps can’t pull this off he actually can. After that were going to visit Beth Greene’s character development because If I have to read once more about how she’s so flat and one dimensional and how she’s a background character I may end up throwing a banana at that person. Last but not least, why it makes perfect sense and is completely logical for Beth to be alive even though most of us really believe she’s alive.
