but then it turned out to be debbie

I want to be a cryptid but not like I want to turn into mothman or bigfoot I just want to be regular old me but hanging out in the woods in a t-shirt and jeans and people look for me with binoculars and they find me hoarding stones by a riverbed eating lil debbie snack cakes and the government tries to conceal my existence

Since people don’t seem to understand what “Men’s Reproductive Rights” means,

I will explain it in a way using popular characters.

This is Nancy Hicks Gribble from popular animated show King of the Hill. One of the biggest controversies and stories about her is that throughout her marriage, she spent 14 years of it cheating on her husband , Dale Gribble

with muscle bound Native American masseur, John Redcorn.

During one of their frequent…encounters, Nancy becomes pregnant and has a son, Joseph Gribble.

Now obviously Joseph isn’t Dale’s biological son, but Dale is not smart enough and too trusting of his wife to question it (he has even caught them in bed together and incorrectly assumed his wife was just getting a massage). It is obvious to John Redcorn however. So what does this have to do with men’s rights? Well since Nancy kept the continued affair a secret, Dale has been taking care of Joseph, another man’s son, with the false assumption that it is his own. John Redcorn, who desperately wants to be a part of Joseph’s life, is unable to do so properly because the son believes that Dale is his father and Nancy refuses to be truthful. So one father is being tricked/forced to take care of a child that isn’t his, while another man is being refused his right to parenthood.

Need another example?

This is Lana Kane from the television show Archer.

Lana had a beautiful baby girl through artificial insemination.

However it came with some issues. She stole the sperm from soon-to-be father Sterling Archer

while he was having a cancer scare. Throughout the series, Archer has made it clear that he isn’t ready for a baby yet, so his stance on this would probably be clear. She then impregnated herself without telling him or getting his permission, got him to drown and then revive to save her because she was pregnant, then only after the baby was born, did she tell him it was his baby. Not soon after, she demanded that he “man up” and “take responsibility” for the care of the child, while she simultaneously refusing him any and all parental rights when he shows interest in the baby’s future, even stating that she would rather lose the baby than have Archer raise her. Comments on Archer’s wording of watching the baby as “babysitting” was met with similar responses as Lana’s of “It’s your baby, take responsibility” and “if you are the father, it is just parenting”. This all with him not getting a say in the baby’s creation and again, having no parental rights.

This is yet another problem that men face. At any time, a woman can either get pregnant through consensual intercourse and leave, steal a man’s sperm, or even rape him, and have complete decision on whether the child is born, and almost always gets custody of the child. At any time, the woman can come back into the man’s life and reveal that the man has a child (one that he didn’t ask for or plan for), and immediately demand the man pay back child support. The mother typically gets it. Men who would like to be a part of their baby’s life, no matter the cause of the pregnancy, can easily be refused that right due to court biases favoring women.

How about another?

This is Deborah Gallagher from the television show Shameless.

Deborah is pretty desperate for a relationship. blame it on teenage hormones, blame it on her family’s influence, but she makes some bad decisions because of it. Deborah befriended fellow high school student Derek Delgado.

They get into a relationship, and Deborah encourages him to have intercourse with her. When he brings up the need for a condom, she stresses that it isn’t needed because she is on the pill. It turns out that she lied about being on birth control pills, actually wanting to trap Derek into a relationship by getting pregnant and starting a family. Derek, shocked by the thought of having a baby, and concerned with the future that he had hoped for, moves out of the state to think and get away from Debby. Debby has also done something similar with a former boyfriend, Matt Baker, who she had originally lied to about her age and eventually raped while he was passed out drunk at a party. Her desperation for a relationship would have probably led to a similar scenario, if it wasn’t almost certain that Matt would have gone to jail for Statutory Rape (a different issue men face)

Derek’s story is actually similar to many men’s. He was clearly not ready for a baby, but was tricked into it. He had a whole life planned worked out, but the baby changed that drastically. The common response is “he should have thought about that before having sex”, which is not the same response a woman would normally get. Consent to sex is only consent to a baby for a man. Debby was ready for a baby, and he was not. But who cares about what he thinks, right? So now he must either halt or even cancel his life plans and dreams to take care of the baby, or leave the baby behind and deal with the guilt of his biological child growing up without him because he wasn’t ready.

You cannot keep shouting “my body, my decision” when it comes to a baby. A baby is more than 9 months. It is a life changing decision that could cost tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of dollars. It is a decision that takes years of dedication, potentially the rest of your life. Men should also get a choice and a say, but often don’t. not when they are raped, not when they are tricked, not when they are not ready for a baby, not when they have other plans in life, not when they want to be a part of the child’s life, nothing. That should be a problem. That should be considered an inequality.

Summary: Mickey comes to a Gallagher party after being released from prison. Ian has a panic attack and Trevor tries to help, when Mickey steps in, he finds something out he wasn’t expecting.

Word Count: 2228

Notes: Loved this request so much!! And I have a half marathon tomorrow so I’ll be super busy, I’ll try to get something in though :)

Mickey was released from jail and back home for about thirty one hours. He and Ian didn’t have time to talk yet, other than through Svetlana. He was informed that the love of his life has a fucking boyfriend, and what does one do in that situation? Mickey doesn’t have a single clue of who this guy is, but he already hates his guts.

Today though is supposed to be another Gallagher party, and Mickey cannot deny that he is thrilled to be able to go— he’s missed it, he’s missed that whole family. As he walked to the house with a cigarette between his lips, a sort of nervous sensation was growing in his stomach; he had a feeling that something was going to go wrong tonight, so he was going to do his best to be on his best behavior in front of Ian and his boyfriend.

Without knocking, Mickey walked into the house. To his surprise, Liam was the first to greet him. The little boy ran to him with spread arms, so Mickey picked him up and gave him a hug. “Missed you, Mickey.”

“Missed you too, buddy,” he smiled and put Liam back to his feet. “Where the fuck’s everybody at?” Mickey asked and searched the living room.

Liam pointed towards the kitchen. “There. Ian’s there too.”

For the same reason as always, Mickey’s heart fluttered at the name. “You know me and Ian aren’t together anymore,” he said with a sad smile.

Liam nodded. “He’s in there,” he repeated. “He’s a little weird today though,” the boy said with a shrug and then ran into the kitchen.

What does he mean by weird? Shit. It was inevitable for Mickey not to worry. He shook it off though, for the time being, and made his way into the kitchen.

Everybody’s faces broke into surprised smiles— except Ian. V jumped up to go hug him, which means she was a little drunk already. “Y’know Lana said you were coming, but I didn’t think they’d ever let you out of the slammer!” She giggled, and so did Svetlana.

Svetlana then got up with Yevgeny in her arms, and went to go place a kiss on the ex-convicts cheek. “Take baby,” she said. “Everybody miss you while you were gone.”

“I fucking missed you guys too,” he said in disbelief. He then planted a kiss on his baby’s forehead.

After that, everyone greeted him and told them how much they missed him. Throughout all of it though, he couldn’t believe how proud he was of Debbie and Carl. Yeah, Debs went nuts for a while to have the mindset of having a baby, but she’s good and being responsible. Carl’s a military boy, following in Ian’s footsteps.

The only person who didn’t run to hug Mickey was Ian. It was like he was intentionally avoiding eye contact with him. All he said was, “Hey, Mick,” in an extremely sad voice.

Following that though was the boyfriend. “Who’s this?” He spoke with no worry because he clearly had no clue— poor guy.

“I’m—-” Mickey started, but got cut off by Svetlana.

“Ex-husband. Yevgeny’s father,” she said with a smile. All of the people in the room were giving him the same apologetic look, but he didn’t lash out, he just nodded.

Trevor stepped forward with his hand out. “Oh, cool. I’m Trevor,” he was ready to shake Mickey’s hand, and the ex-con wanted nothing to do with it. After a hit on the shoulder from Svet though, he extended his own hand, and squeezed Trevor’s so tightly that a finger might have broke. “Ah, um, nice tattoos.”

“Yeah, nice to meet you, man,” Mickey said with his voice thick of sarcasm. He turned his head to look at Ian, who didn’t even seem to be paying much attention. He was rhythmically tapping his fingers, and only focusing on that. Mickey’s body tightened at the sight for some reason.

Fiona noticed all of the tension and stood back up. “Well okay, now the everyone’s here let’s get this party started!” Everyone let out a cheer and grabbed a beer— unless your Lip or Ian, they grabbed a soda. Mickey grabbed a soda as well because even though he and Ian weren’t together, he didn’t like when Ian felt like the odd one out.

After a few minutes of mingling, the group made their way into the living room, where there was more room. A few people asked Mickey about his time in jail, a few asked him what he’s going to do with his life now that he was out, and truthfully it was hard for him to answer either.

Suddenly, Frank walked into the house. “Party!” He shouted and ran to the kitchen to get a beer.

“Oh, fuck,” Lip said in annoyance. That annoyance seemed to be immediately replaced with worry though because he turned his head to see Ian’s reaction, but the redhead didn’t even seem to notice Frank, he was still fidgeting.

Mickey noticed both Ian and Gallagher father, who was coming out of the kitchen and noticing Mickey. He walked up to him with his usual cockiness.  “Mickey, how did the joint treat you?”

“Fuck off, Frank,” he shrugged.

“No beer?” Frank asked in shock. He then seemed to be hit with a sudden realization of Ian as Mickey was scoffing. Frank looked from Mickey to Ian, and patted him on the back. “Good man,” he said and then walked away.

Mickey shrugged again and sat down. It was killing him to not go over then and just jump on Ian; all he wanted to do was go kiss him and tell him how much he needed him, but he couldn’t. The sight of that scrawny little boyfriend made Mickey shutter.

Ian was uncontrollably tapping his feet. He wanted to go talk to Mickey so badly, but he was sort of scared. He had a boyfriend. Yeah sometimes he forgot to get a refill of his pills, but his life was together; he couldn’t set a match to it now. Suddenly, it started to become hard to breath. He turned to look at Mickey, but he was standing up. “I gotta piss,” Mickey said. Ian watched him walk until he was out of sight, and that’s when it started.

He was full on hyperventilating, but it wasn’t so bad yet. Then someone placed a hand on his shoulder and he jumped. When he turned to look at who it was, he couldn’t tell. Everything in his sight was blurred and before he knew it he was clutching onto himself like an anchor. Silent screams were coming out of his mouth, and tears were running down his eyes.

“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” Trevor said in worry.

“Shit!” Fiona yelled and put her beer down to approach her brother, and everyone followed in her lead.

Trevor tried to rub his hand on Ian’s back, but Ian screamed and flinched some more. “No! No! No!” He yelled, causing Trevor to jump back.

“Mickey!” Debbie yelled for the Milkovich boy. She  knew that Mickey was the only one who knew how to deal with this, even if it’s been a few years.

On que, Mickey ran back into the living room. He saw the distressed redhead sitting on the ground, and his heart dropped. “Fuck, has he been taking his meds?” Mickey asked frantically as he made his way over. Everyone shared questionative glances, and then looked at Trevor for an answer.

“I-I don’t know!” Ian’s boyfriend said guiltily.

Mickey forcefully grabbed Trevor by the collar and flung him out of the way. Doing what anybody else wouldn’t, he sat on the floor in front of Ian and pried the boy’s hands away from his eyes. “Shhhh,” he said and wrapped his arms around him and soothing rubbed his back.

Ian’s sobs grew to be more violent, but his arms were clutching around Mickey. “I’m right here. Listen to my voice. Focus on me,” Mickey softly ordered, and when Ian obliged he spoke more. “You gotta breathe, Ian. Please breathe with me.” He started taking deep breaths and waited until Ian caught on. After a while he did, and they kept doing it until Ian could control it.

He was still crying despite the fact that he stopped hyperventilating. The redhead shoved his face into Mickey’s neck. “Don’t leave. Please don’t leave again.”

“I’m not fucking leaving. I’m not,” Mickey responded and kissed the side of Ian’s head. He did not plan on getting sent away anytime soon. “Hey,” he said to get Ian to look at him. “I love you.”

Ian nodded and another tear rolled down his face. “I love you too,” he whispered.

To everyone else it sort of looked like the boys were part of a movie. Though no one other than Trevor was shocked by the words that were being exchanged, it did make their hearts melt. These boys have gone through so much together that they’re practically bound to each other. No amount of separation can really end them.

Mickey was aware of all of the eyes on him, but he didn’t mind. He planted one last kiss on the boys head and pulled back to look him in the eyes. “Are you takin’ your pills?”

Ian looked down guiltily. “I, uh, kinda need a refill,” he mumbled.

“I’ll get it later,” Mickey said and then stood up with an undeniable rage in his eyes. He went straight for Trevor, and pushed him. “You’re supposed to fucking know this shit. You’re supposed to take care of him, fucking dumbass. You’re his boyfriend aren’t you?” He pushed again and got ready to punch, but Carl pulled him back.

Trevor’s mouth dropped open— speechless for a moment, then his eyes filled with confusion and anger. “Who the fuck are you?” Suddenly his eyes widened. “Holy shit. You’re who he talks about in his sleep.”

Mickey smirked. “That’s me, asshole.”

Trevor scoffed. “Y’know what, I don’t give a shit who you are. I’m with Ian now, you fucked up. You have no place being here—”

“Travis, Trevor, whatever your name is,” Frank cut him off. “I would like to inform you that won’t win this one. I’m up to see a good fight if you two want to go at it,” he nodded.

Trevor scoffed, but before he could speak, Mickey did. “You’re a fucking—”

“Mick,” Ian cut him off. “Don’t.” He shook his head and stood up. “I’m really sorry, Trev. I tried to move on from him, really tried, but it didn’t work.”

Trevor frowned. He was truthfully saddened by all of this. “Y-you love each other?”

Both boys nodded. “Yeah, we do,” Ian said.

For some reason, Trevor turned to look at the other people in the room. Some gave him a nod, others gave him an apologetic shrug. “Sorry, man,” Kev said.

Trevor let out a quiet sound of pain, and put his head down. “I-I’ll go,” he started to walk away.

“No. Now wait one second—”

“Mickey—”

“Ian, shut the fuck up. You people,” he pointed at everyone, “should fucking know better than to let his pills run out. Did you just fucking stop checking? Since I left you stopped worrying?” His voice was cold.

Fiona and the other siblings all looked down with loads of guilt. Mickey was right, they should’ve been more attentive. They’ve been through this before, they know damn well that it could get out of hand. “We still worry. Just thought he could handle it on his own—”

“I can handle it on my own.” Ian’s voice was stern.

“You still need help though, man,” Lip said. “Just like I do with the whole fucking alcoholic thing.” There was a mix of seriousness and kindness in his voice, it showed that he was not fucking around. Ian nodded.

Fiona frowned. “W-we’re sorry.”

“Guess I didn’t know as much as I thought about you, Ian,” Trevor shook his head and then proceeded to leave.

“Fucking asshole,” Mickey said before turning back to Ian.

The redhead looked mentally drained, like he usually does after a panic attack. He looked at Mickey with soft eyes though. He’s really back. All he wanted right now was to be held. “I’m tired, Mick,” Ian said quietly.

“Go on up,” Mickey gave a slight smile. “I’ll go get your pills and then I’ll be right there.”

Ian shook his head “I need you to come with me. Haven’t had a full night sleep since you got locked up,” he looked down in embarrassment. “Fi, can you go get them?” His sister nodded.

Mickey slowly walked over to the redhead and grabbed his hand. “C’mon, let’s go to bed.” He then led them up the stairs, leaving everyone in silence.

The Gallaghers, Kev, V, and Svetlana all looked around at each other. It truly was heartwarming to see a member of the Milkovich family care so much about someone— it even touched Svetlana.

Kev let out a dry chuckle. “Guess none of us should be surprised that that was the outcome of this night.”

“That’s because Orange Boy and Mickey love each other,” Svetlana said.

“They really do,” Debbie smiled. “I’m glad Mickey’s back,” and so was everyone else. With Mickey being here, everything’s the way it should be. Everything fits right.

Imagine... Carl Gallagher #2

Request: Can you do one where the reader is V’s cousin and is baby sitting the twins and meets Carl and he is nothing like she imagined from V’s stories, he’s sweet and taller than she thought, you know?

Pairing: Carl x Reader

Warnings: swearing, fluffy lil Carl .

“Please Y/N! It would mean the world. It’s only for a few hours i promise!” Veronica begged through the phone. “Fine. What time do you want me to be there?” Y/N asked. “Six?” Veronica asked. “Okay, I’ll be over in a bit then. Text me your addre-” “CARL! What did I tell you about going through my drug cabinet!” Veronica yelled. Y/N held the phone away from her ear. “Is that Carl Gallagher again?” She asked. “Yes… he’s a little shit and he knows it. Did you know he got caught taping-” “ten pounds of heroine to his nephew Chuckie. Yes V I know. You’ve told me everything about this kid.” She cut her cousin off. “He spent a year in juvenile prison for fucks sake” she said. Y/N rolled her eyes. “Is it bad that I kind of want to meet him?” She joked, though she was partially serious.“No way! There is no way in hell I will let you meet Carl Gallagher. He will destroy your reputation within a week” she said sternly. “I give it three days!” Y/N could hear Kev say. “Anyway, I’ll see you at six. Thank you so much Y/N you are a lifesaver.” Veronica spoke. Y/N said her goodbyes before hanging up.

***

Y/N sat on the floor with the twins on either side of her. The girls had been nonstop crying for an hour now, Y/N had tried everything to keep them occupied.

They weren’t hungry, nor sleepy. She made sure their diapers were clean and dry before giving them each a toy that Kev and V had recently purchased.

A knock at the door had pulled Y/N’s attention from the girls. She picked them up, one on each hip, she placed Gemma in the play crib. She kept Amy close to her as she looked out the window to see who was there. She wasn’t used to the neighbourhood. She noticed a guy, around her age, standing at the front door. Y/N unlocked the door and opened it. “Hi?” She said, swaying her body to comfort Amy. “Can you please quiet the twins down? We can hear them from next door…” Y/N sent a confused look. “Sorry, who are you?” She asked confused. “Carl…Who are you?” Y/N raised her eyebrows. This was the infamous Carl Gallagher? “I’m Y/N, Veronica’s cousin.” By now the girls had finally gone quiet. “V didn’t tell me she had such a beautiful cousin.” He winked. Y/N blushed slightly. She was a bit confused as to how he could be so bad. He was definitely not how she pictured him to look like. He’s much taller and he has nicer hair. She expected him to be grubby and greasy. He’s the exact opposite.

“Mind if I come in?” He asked. Y/N nodded and stepped out of the way, letting him walk inside. “You aren’t going to steal anything are you?” She asked, concerned for the cabinet that was in the corner of the room. “The only thing I’ll be stealing tonight is your heart” he said slyly as he took a seat on the couch. Y/N put Amy down in the crib beside Gemma. She smiled to herself at the comment Carl had made. “Veronica told me all about you.” She stated. She took a seat on the floor by the twins. “Yeah? Tell me about yourself then. It’s only fair” Carl ran a hand through his hair, he pat the seat next to him and Y/N cautiously made her way over. “Well you know now that I’m Veronica’s cousin. Uh, I’m seventeen years old. I’m a sophomore, and I work part time at a pizza place downtown. There’s not much else to me” she explained.

Carl had been looking at her lips for quite some time now. She had become a bit self conscious that something was stuck in her teeth. “Can I kiss you?” He asked. She knit her eyebrows together. “We literally just met” he didn’t say anything. Y/N looked to his full lips and took in a deep breath before nodding. Carl leaned in and pressed his lips to hers. Time had stopped. Y/N closed her eyes and melted into the kiss. The door opened and the two pulled away quickly.

“Oh hell no!” Veronica yelled. Y/N looked to the front door with wide eyes. “Shit” Carl got up from the couch and booked it out the front door, weaving passed Kev and V before they could do anything. “Looks like we need a new babysitter” Kev joked. Y/N looked to her cousin with a guilty look. V crossed her arms over her chest and huffed. “Unbelievable” she muttered, walking into the kitchen. Kev picked up Amy and Gemma and kissed their foreheads before turning to Y/N. “he ain’t all bad” he whispered, joining V In the kitchen. Y/N ran a hand through her hair and let out a breath of air. Secretly, she hoped they needed a babysitter again, really soon.

Not A Burden

Summary: Ian is prone to having panic attacks. One day when Mickey and Mandy are at the Gallagher house, Ian has one and no one knows what to do but Mickey.

Word Count: 1185

For the past few years the Gallagher family has been aware of Ian’s anxiety disorder. Unfortunately, Fiona knows that they can’t afford to get him the medication he needs to control it. Despite any impossible efforts to fix this ordeal, Ian insists that he can deal with it on his own.

What the Gallagher clan does not know is that Ian has the help of his secret boyfriend of four years. Mickey Milkovich is the scariest and meanest thug on that Southside of Chicago. While Mickey has these threatening traits, he has a soft spot for the redheaded Gallagher boy that no one can know about other than the two of them because his father is the most homophobic piece of shit alive, and if he’d find out, they’d both be dead.

Today the Gallaghers are throwing a party for Ian’s birthday. In attendance will be Fiona, Lip, Debbie, Carl, Liam, Frank, Kev, V, Jimmy, Mickey, and Mandy. Luckily, Mickey is Mandy’s sister who is Lip’s girlfriend and Ian’s best friend, so the Milkovich boy’s presence does not set off an alarm.

“Mickey,” Mandy yells. “Give Ian the gift we got him!”

Mickey scoffs. “Fuck off,” he spits and makes his way over to the redhead.

“Mickey,” Ian says and hands him a beer.

“Firecrotch,” the dark haired boy nods. “Got your fuckin’ gift or whatever,” he rubs the back of his neck and takes a swig of beer.

“Thanks.” Ian takes it and places it near the others before retrieving to the area he was in to talk to Mickey. The two boys stand together and hold a normal conversation until they realize they don’t want any suspicion.

After an hour or two of drinking and talking amongst each other, Fiona announces that they should all prepare to sing happy birthday. Everyone runs to gather around Ian who is sitting in front of the big, messy cake. He has a big smile on his face, but Mickey can’t help to feel like it’s fake as he watches the boy instead of singing.

All of the cake has been eaten, so the family and friends retreat back to the living room. Ian is pacing back and forth but keeps a subtle smile on his face the whole time.

Once Mickey sees Ian start to scratch at his leg, he makes his way over to the boy. “Hey, you okay?”

“Mhm,” is all Ian says.

“Ian, seriously, you’re freaking me the fuck out.” Mickey stares at the jittery boy.

Ian nods. “Need a water,” he mumbles and bolts for the kitchen, leaving Mickey worried.

Suddenly a loud cry comes from the kitchen making everyone to run to see what happened, but Mickey already knew.

They find Ian scrunched up in the corner of the room with his eyes shut tightly. “Ian, sweetie, it’s okay.” Fiona slowly approaches her brother, but he screams out again causing her to back away and fall into Jimmy’s embrace.

Frank snorts and takes another beer. “He’s crazy,” he says and falls over due to drunkenness. Most of the other people in the room are surprised he can even pass out with such loud screams coming from the boy next to him.

“It’s a bad one,” V frowns. “Fuckin’ anxiety attacks scare the shit outta me.”

Lip puts his head down. “When it’s bad like this we just gotta let it pass, it always does.”

“Are you fucking serious?” Mickey’s voice surprises everyone.

“What do you know?” Lip looks agitated with the Milkovich boy for thinking he knows more about Ian than he does, but in all honesty, he does.

Mickey scoffs and pushes him out of the way. “More than you, asshole.”

In this moment, he doesn’t care about the people around him as much as he should. He ignores the protests of him approaching Ian mainly because he barely noticed them, he only can notice a distressed redhead crying in the corner.

“Hey, Ian,” he squats down next to the boy. “Can you hear me this time? It’s Mickey.” Ian nods. “Can you tell me how bad you’re feeling?”

Ian lets out a huff. “B-b-bad.”

Mickey frowns at Ian’s words. He then inched himself closer the the boy. “You remember what I did to calm you down last time?” Ian shakes his head and continues the loud screams. “C’mere, baby, give me your hands.”

Ian slowly places his hands out for Mickey to take. When Mickey grabs onto them he pulls himself so close that their foreheads are touching and Ian’s hands are on his chest. “You feel my breath, right?” Ian nods. “Breathe with me, and focus on my heartbeat, nothing but my heartbeat.”

After a few breaths Ian’s cries began to lessen. Once he was in control of his body, he clung  himself to Mickey with tears rolling down his eyes. “I’m sorry I always do this to you, Mick,” Ian says with a shaky voice. He continues to cry into his boyfriend’s shoulder.

“Shhhh,” Mickey runs his hand through Ian’s hair and holds him tightly. “It’s okay, it’s okay.”

Finally Ian contains himself and pulls back to look the older boy in the eyes. “I really am sorry that I’m such a fucking burden,” he huffs out.

“Hey,” Mickey grabs Ian’s face and wipes the tear remnants away. “You’re not a fucking burden.” He pulls the other boy down to place a kiss on his forehead. “I promise you.”

Ian nods and thanks him with a passionate kiss for being a wonderful person. When he releases from Mickey’s embrace he sees nine faces with their jaws dropped. He immediately stiffens up and grabs hold of Mickey’s shirt. “Are you gonna run?” Ian whispers.

“Nah,” Mickey says. “I’m stayin’ here with my fuckin’ boyfriend.” With that being said a huge smile amounts on the redhead’s face. He feels happier than he has all day.

Ian tried not to laugh at the expressions on everyone’s faces. It makes both boys proud to know they hid their relationship so well though.

“Um,” Kev raises his eyebrows. “Holy fuck.”

Fiona has wide eyes and a pale face. She looks between the two boys who were tangled up on the kitchen floor. “What the fuck, Ian? I knew you were gay, but you chose Mickey of all people?” Ian frowns at her rudeness, but Mickey doesn’t seem to mind the remark.

Mickey then curiously turns to look at Lip whose eyebrows are raised high despite being the only one with knowledge of the relationship.

“Did you say boyfriend?” Debbie asks skeptically and the boys attention focuses on her.

Ian nods. “I’m his boyfriend,” he exclaims. Mickey laughs at the happiness in Ian’s voice.

Mandy looks the most shocked out of everyone. “You’re fucking my best friend?” She looks at Mickey. “You’re fucking my brother?” She says to Ian. “What in the actually hell?”

“Don’t tell anyone, guys! We’ll explain later though, I wanna go to bed.” He stands up, pulling his boyfriend with him. “C’mon, Mick!” He keeps hold of Mickey’s hand and walks up the stairs, leaving everyone even more confused.

Gird your loins: In true Shondaland fashion, Grey’s Anatomy is prepping for an epic event in the season 13 finale. “There’s actually two events going on at the same time that are pretty big that affect the entire hospital community,” says EP Debbie Allen, teasing that many relationships will either be embroiled or solidified as a result — Alex (Justin Chambers) must make a hard decision in his relationship with Jo (Camilla Luddington), while Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) has some news for Riggs (Martin Henderson) that brings their relationship to a turning point. But there could also be lives that hang in the balance “You should be worried,” Allen cautions. “There’s cause for worry. There’s an amazing cliffhanger that will have everybody thinking, ‘Wow, where is this going?!’” Don’t freak out (or do!), but there’s actually several, which “plant more seeds that fuel the fire for what is going to happen next season,” Allen says. Probably best to watch with tissues and tequila!

“Carl, I have something to tell you, but you have to promise me that you won’t freak out” I say to Carl as I put my hands on his shoulders to try and get him to sit down on the couch. He nods at me when we are both sitting down so I put his hands in mine and begin to speak. “Carl, I went to the free clinic today” He nods at me listening to my every word.

“I’m pregnant, Carl” I whisper out, hoping he can hear me.

“Are you fucking kidding me?” He stands up and is now yelling at me “How could you let this happen? This is so fucking irresponsible of you”

“Are you fucking serious?” I don’t know what the hell he thought was going to happen when he started yelling at me.

“Are you seriously blaming this on me?” I am so mad at him I can’t help but stand and begin to walk away, I turn around to say one last thing “Maybe if you ever went to school you would know that it’s the sperm, which in fact comes from the penis that will get someone pregnant” and with that, I walk out the back door to go to the backyard.

This is where I see Fiona sitting and smoking on the stairs, I hated Carl in this moment. I felt like I was over reacting because how else was a 16 year old boy going to react to his girlfriend being pregnant. I heard the front door slam as I sat down with Fiona, I could feel the tears trying to work their way to the surface of my eyes but I wouldn’t let them. I didn’t want Fiona to see me crying because of Carl.

“What’s up with you, Y/N?” She looks at me and I give her a confused look “You came out here, sat down and didn’t say a word. You never walk into a room without saying a word” She nudges me with her shoulder and a fraction of a smile comes onto my face, I don’t feel like smiling right now.

“So, what is the problem?” Fiona asks me again and I feel like I have to tell her, she is like a sister to me even though I already have two.

“Don’t be mad” I look at her, I know she doesn’t want any of the kids to have children at a young age, I was here when Debby got pregnant and I saw how she reacted then.

“Fiona” I take a deep breath “I am pregnant” I tell her the same way I told Carl, maybe it will turn out differently this time. She lets out a deep breath and puts her head in her hands, I hear a low groan coming from her.

“Okay, we can deal with this” She stands up and starts pacing back and forth “You can just get an abortion like I did”

“I can’t just get rid of it, you know my family doesn’t have the money and they aren’t even going to let me in the house if I tell them that I am pregnant” I quickly say back, she knows all of this and still says it.

“I think Carl ran away, I told him and he said it was my fault then left” I told Fiona “I don’t know what to do, Fi. My life has gone to shit in just one day, how am I supposed to do anything with a baby” Fiona sits down beside me and hugs me. She hugged me until we heard the front door slam shut again.

We walked back inside and like I suspected it was Carl, he was sitting on the couch when I walked into the kitchen to get to Debby’s room. I didn’t want to have to deal with Carl right now and I can’t just go home.

I make it to Debby’s room when I hear yelling coming from downstairs, it’s Fiona and Carl of course. Whenever they didn’t agree on something the whole house would know about it, Debby looked at me knowing it was my fault as soon as I got into her room.

I tell her everything that has happened and she was so excited for me, she said that it would be so much fun to have kids at the same time. But I can only see it as the rest of my life being taken away from me, I can’t do anything I want to do with a kid. She keeps talking to me to keep me distracted from the fight going on, I could only hear the muffled sounds through the wall.

I was laying on the bed looking at the ceiling when there was a soft knock on the door, I could hear the door opening slowly then a soft voice was heard.
“Y/N, can we talk” I turn my head to face the door, it was Carl peaking his head through. I sat up slowly, I could never be prepared for whatever is going to happen to us.

I walk into Carls room and sit on the bed across from the door, Carl walks in behind me and closes the door. He comes over to sit beside me on the bed, we both sit there in an awkward silence waiting for someone to speak, I know it’s not going to be me.

“I’m sorry, okay” Carl sighs, he was the first one to speak after almost 5 minutes, imagine that 5 minutes of silence with someone who just yelled at you.

“What are we going to do?” He asks me, he thinks I have thought up my life plan in the last 1 hour, he is dumber than I thought.

“I have no idea, Carl” I sigh and look down to my fingers. I just want to go to sleep, I feel like this day has been going on forever.

“Hey maybe we can get on sixteen and pregnant and get money from being on the show” Carl jokes, but I can’t help but think about how good it would be to get the money from a tv show. I give him a weak smile and go to get up, Carl stands up behind me and reaches for my hand turning me around.

“I’m sorry baby” he points at my stomach and then looks back up to me “girl” Then he gives me a quick peck on the lips, when he pulls away he has a smirk on his face. He thinks he is so funny, making all of these jokes and it was but I couldn’t let him know that.

He sits back down on the edge of the bed and looks at me, he softly tugs on my wrist to bring me down to his lap. He gives me a kiss on the forehead then, places a kiss on the tip of my nose. My smile is weak and I can feel the sleepiness growing stronger so I get off Carl’s lap and crawl into bed, I lay down and nudge Carls back with my foot indicating for him to come lay down. He gets into bed and snuggles up behind me placing his arm over my waist and onto my stomach, he begins to draw shapes onto it until I fall asleep.

Tick, tick, tick.

Yoongi glances over at the clock on his desk, a little round orange thing. The minute hand clicks by relentlessly over and over again, and Yoongi gulps. Rearranges his tie. Jesus, why is it suddenly so hot?

Yoongi shifts in his seat, tries to find a comfortable position. He doesn’t even know why he’s like this, doesn’t know why his heart seems to pound just the tiniest bit faster, doesn’t know why his brain short circuits and his eyes are glued to the clock.

Panic

Summary: Ian has a panic attack after seeing Terry, and Mickey shocks everyone by the way he helps Ian calm down.

Word Count: 1831

“Lip!” Mandy screams from the shared bedroom in the Gallagher household.

“What, Mandy? I’m doing something!” Lip yells back to his girlfriend from the kitchen where he is feeling his youngest brother Liam.

She screams for him again. “It’s Ian. Come here now!” The eldest Gallagher boy hears the panic in her voice and runs up the stairs and into Ian, Carl, and Liam’s bedroom. When he enters he finds Ian sitting on the ground against the wall and holding his legs to his chest. He’s rocking back and forth and violently sobbing. “He ran into the house a few minutes ago so I ran up after him. He was doing this when I found him.”

“Hey, bud,” Lip processes Mandy’s words and tries to approach his redheaded brother.

Suddenly, Ian stops shaking and tenses up completely. “Leave me alone!” He cries.

“I’ll call Fi,” the girl says and exits the bedroom.

“Hey, Mands, tell Carl and Debs to stay downstairs and watch Liam.” Mandy nods.

Lip tries to talk to his distresses brother again. “Wanna tell me what’s goin’ on?”

Ian shakes his head. “Go away. Go away!” He struggles to breathe through the tears.

The older brother frowns at this sight. He doesn’t know what caused this or how he can help it. Praying for Fiona to arrive soon he sits and watches his brother, and thinks of what to do.

“She’ll be here in ten,” Mandy reenters. She looks at her best friend softly. “Hey, fuckhead, wanna say what’s on your mind?” She forces a smile, but Ian ignores her and begins shaking again.

“Fuck,” Lip says.

* * *

Fiona walks in the front door to see Carl, Debbie, and Liam on the couch watching television. She can tell they know something is going on because Carl is gripping the edge of the couch tightly and Debbie’s body looks very stiff. Fortunately, they know when something is worth joking about and when it is not, so they keep their mouths shut and wait.

“Hey, guys, where’s Ian?”

Debbie turns her head quick to look at her sister. “Upstairs in his room.”

“Fi,” Carl says. “What’s going on? Mandy seemed scared.”

The oldest sibling kisses each of their heads. “Sounded like he’s having a panic attack. We’ll figure it out and calm him down.” She smiles weakly. “He’s okay, just a little shaken up right now.” The kids nod and watch their sister make her way up the stairs.

She steps in the room to find Lip and Mandy staring at Ian with sympathetic faces. Her face falls when she sees her brother crying and shaking in the corner of the room. “How long has he been like this?”

“About twenty minutes.”

Fiona sets her purse down on the bed, and inches towards her brother. “Hey, Ian.” When he doesn’t respond, she steps closer. “You okay? Wanna talk about it?” She studies him trying to figure out if he can even hear her, but she doesn’t think he can.

She turns back to the other two people in the room. “Do we just wait until he calms down? I mean anxiety attacks normally pass, don’t they?” Mandy suggests.

“The fuck has got him so worked up?” Lip cringes at the thought of what could have possibly hurt his brother so badly to cause this reaction.

* * *

Mickey makes his way to the Gallagher’s front door in hopes to see Ian. He feels bad for ignoring Ian since the day everything went down with his dad, but he hates dealing with his feelings. He’s never cared about anyone before, so he tries to keep it that way, but it didn’t seem to be working.

He had a plan to walk in and ask where his sister was. He assumed that Ian would be with Mandy since they’re practically connected at the hip. It’s very convenient sneaking with someone who’s always around, just happens to be difficult as well.

Mickey walks into the house, and looks around. When he sees the younger few of the Gallagher clan, he walks in front of them to get their attention. “Where’s Mandy?”

“U-upstairs.” Debbie says shakily. “Might not want to go up there, Ian’s having a panic attack.”

Carl nods. “It’s real bad. Barely fucking speaking, but we keep hearing him cry.”

Mickey suddenly feels his heart drop. How bad? What happened? He runs up the stairs, completely disregarding Debbie’s protests. When he gets to the bedroom, he sees Mandy, Lip, and Fiona surrounding his secret lovers.

Is trying to help out worth letting everyone know who he truly is? Is Ian worth it? Of course.

“Get out of my way,” Mickey says harshly. “Let me talk to him.”

Fiona scoffs. “Why the hell would I let you talk to him? You’re Mickey fucking Milkovich.”

“Guys, move. He needs to talk to him, Fi,” Lip says and Mickey nods.. He’s the only one who knows of the relationship. Fiona and Mandy share confused and frustrated looks, but they both step out of the way.

Mandy looks to her boyfriend. “What the fuck does my brother want to do with Ian?” Lip ignores her and they all watch to see what Mickey is going to do.

“Hey, Gallagher.” Mickey cautiously approaches the redhead. “What’s up?”

Ian begins to cry harder. He covers his eyes and tries to catch his breath, but it seems nearly impossible. Mickey’s heart is breaking looking at Ian like this. Giving no shits about the others, he sits on the ground in front of Ian and prys his hands away from his eyes.

“Hey, hey, baby, I’m here,” he says softly. “Come on, baby, look at me. I’m here.” Ian’s shaky breaths begin to slow, and his eyes slowly open. “Can you tell me what happened?”

“T-Ter–”

Mickey feels anger bubbling in his chest as Ian tries to say the Milkovich father’s name. “Fuck,” he whispers.

“Listen to me, okay?” Ian nods. “You’re going to breathe with me. I’m going to count to ten and after each number we’re going to take a deep breath, okay?” Ian nods again.

Mickey grabs both of Ian’s hands in his own. “One,” they take a deep breath. “Two,” they breathe. “Now count with me,” Mickey says. “Three,” they say together. Once they get to ten, Ian is a little bit calmed down but still clearly shaken up. “Now what were you saying about Terry.”

Ian closes his eyes and tries to speak. “I-I saw him. He came into the Kash n Grab with–with a gun.” Mickey tightens his grip on Ian when he hears this. “I snuck out the back after I heard him threaten to kill me.”

“Ian–”

“I couldn’t even run to you because you didn’t want anything to do with me. I thought you hated me.” Ian chokes up another sob and digs his face into Mickey’s chest. “I thought you left me,” his voice cracks.

Mickey pulls him closer than he thought was possible. “Hey, I’m never leaving you. This is it for me, you understand? You and me, right? I’m not ever leavin’ you, Ian, I’m not. I’m sorry, I’m so fucking sorry for making you think otherwise.”

“I-I know you don’t want to hear this but I really love you, Mick.” Ian looks into Mickey’s eyes and expects him to run when he hears those words.

Mickey knows that Ian thinks he’s going to bolt after those words were said, which hurts him. How could he have treated him so badly? He knows he doesn’t deserve the love that Ian Gallagher is offering him, but he hopes that he can be good enough for him in the future. This boy meant everything to him. Instead of ignoring the words or leaving, he grabs Ian’s face and kisses him passionately. He felt all of Ian’s worries wash out when the kiss deepened. It was the first meaningful kiss they shared, and he loved it.

When they pulled back, the corners of Ian’s mouth began to curve into a grin. Mickey wanted to see a big bright smile, so to help it along, he said, “I really love you too.” Ian’s smile turned so big that Mickey’s heart fluttered. They kissed again and smiled into each others mouth.

Once they separated, Ian noticed everyone else in the room. Their mouths hung wide open. He wondered if Mickey knew they were there, but he assumed not because he couldn’t imagine him spilling his heart out with everyone listening. Mickey gripped his hand though, to tell him he knew they were there and that staying right next to him.

“Shit,” Lip said. “I knew you two were hooking up or whatever, but shit,” he speaks in astonishment. Mickey is surprised he’s not as mad as he should be now that he knows Lip knew about them.

Fiona looks at Mickey, then looks at Ian. “Mickey fucking Milkovich?” She questions Ian and repeats her words from before.

Ian rolls his eyes. “Yes, Fi, ‘Mickey fucking Milkovich.’”

“How long?” Fiona’s mind is racing.

“Three years now,” Ian smirks.

Mandy now looks annoy. “You fucking assholes! Three years and no one told me? This is who you’re always talking about, Ian? My brother!”

“Don’t be mad, Mands,” Ian says apologetically.

“Are you going to tell everyone?” Mickey worries.

She comes closer to the two boys and punches them both hard. “No, fuckhead. Dad would kill you if he knew! I’m mad you didn’t tell me. I’m your fucking sister,” she points at Mickey. “And you,” she points at Ian. “I’m your best friend!”

“You think I’d let him advertise this to anyone in the South Side? Are you fucking stupid?” Mickey snaps. “And dad knows.” He gulped.

Ian nodded. “That’s why he came after me, he caught us the other day,” Ian says sadly. “I thought we were going to die–”

Mickey runs the hands that isn’t holding on to Ian through his boyfriend’s hair. “Don’t got to talk about it. Too fucked up. I don’t want to relive it, and I don’t want you reliving it either.” Ian nods and lets out a breath of relief. Mandy tunes down her anger.

Fiona looks at them sadly. Then she opens her mouth as if she’s about to speak but pauses before starting again. “Did you say three years?”

“Yes, what the fuck,” Mickey exclaims. “He came after me with a crowbar and then we hooked up, not too hard to understand.”

Lip chuckles. “Wow, romantic. I didn’t know things ran so deep between you two.”

“Didn’t want it to,” Mickey looks at his and Ian’s hands. “But look where that got me.” He looks away from Lip. He wishes he wasn’t such a pussy about being with Ian, but then again it proves how strong their relationship really is.

“It runs fucking deep,” Mickey says softly looking at his boyfriend as if he’s speaking to him rather than answering Lip. “Really fucking deep.” Ian smiles at the words.

Hospital blurb

Pairing: Lip Gallagher x Reader
Description: Imagine Lip and Debbie being the only ones to come see you when you get hospitalized
Writer: Renee c:
A/N: I figured I’d write this little thing to keep everyone at bay cx

Someone knocks on your door and you expect the doctor, telling you the same thing he’s told you for the past day. You sigh before rubbing your tired, exhausted eyes, “Come in.” You hear the door open and you mumble to yourself, “It’s not like I can get up or anything.”

“Who asked you to get up?” You quickly look up to see Lip and Debbie at the foot of the god awful hospital bed you were in. Your boyfriend walks around the bed, quickly kissing the top of your head. “Sorry, we’re late.”

You shake your head as you look up at him, “No. No, thanks for coming.” You turn to look at Debbie still standing at the foot of the bed. She was holding a thermal container in her hands. “Hey there.”

She smiles, quickly rushing to your other side, “I brought you some soup. Shelia taught me how to make it.” She hands it to you and you take it gratefully.

“Thank you so much, Debs.” You reach out, trying to hide your groan as you hug her. You make sure to smile at her as you pull away, noting that they both heard you groan. Your back was in pain, and technically you shouldn’t be moving as much.

You had gotten out of surgery earlier to get rid of your gallbladder, and you had finally gotten all of the drugs out of your system to function correctly. That still didn’t mean that you felt like shit because clearly, you did. That didn’t matter at the moment though, your two favorite people came to visit you, and that’s all you could ask for.

[In Robert’s Porsche outside the Woolpack]

ROBERT: Thanks for taking over driving Aaron. I just couldn’t do it after all. You know we’ve come so far from me threatening you to not to touch my car and then having sex afterwards to me actually letting you drive it…and probably still having sex afterwards…well..eventually…cause your my husband now and we have all the time in the world…well…

AARON: If you mention the Plot one more time Robert!

ROBERT: We’re back now, we’re gonna have to deal with it!

[Out of Robert’s Porsche outside the Woolpack]

(RYAN: *groan…groan* I really need them to let Robert get a new car. I don’t know if I can keep getting out of this one with it so low to the ground. Damn my dodgy knee!)

(DANNY: *gets up and out with no problem* Don’t know what you’re talking about mate, it’s pretty easy!)

ROBERT: You’re missing her already aren’t you?

AARON: Who? Me mum?

ROBERT: No Aaron. Keep up. Liv, you know, your sister, the plot device that let us escape for five weeks.

AARON: Right right. So what if I am? It was nice being away from the Plot I know nothing about.

ROBERT: Let’s just hope a holiday cured all of our problems.

AARON: Yeah, it’s a shame it had to come to an end. It’s also a shame that your tan is so weird and blotchy? What happened? I told you to put sun cream on! (DANNY: Seriously though, what happened mate? Your Brazilian tan looked way more natural)

ROBERT: (RYAN: it’s not my fault the makeup department decided to go extra orange. They’ve always struggled with foundation for me. You look great though *heart eyes*) Hey, as of now, things can only get better. Nevermind, don’t believe a word of that Aaron. I’m pretty sure they put that in here for irony.

stories i probably will never write :: electra gallagher

Being a fucking Gallagher was a damn curse. For starters her father was none other than Frank himself. She could never stand him, hell he still doesn’t know her name and keeps calling her Erica. Electra was part of dysfunction family and they didn’t have rules in the house. (That was already a bad sign.) However she’s used to it. Her father, Frank was and still is an unemployed alcoholic and her mother, Monica is an addict. She never had carrying parents that took care of their own children. The closest thing to a parent was her older sister, Fiona.

It felt like she was the only one who wad willing to take care of her and her other siblings. When you live in a dysfunctional family like Electra, you never turn out to be an angel. She had her own demons but she never tried to show it as she found it pointless. She covered it up with partying, getting drunk and smoking.

But was it that really surprising? She’s a Gallagher after all.

Lip: have you ever thought, Mick, that just maybe Ian can’t love you like you love him?
Mickey: the fuck does that mean?
Lip: I mean, Monica couldn’t love Frank. Couldn’t take care of us. She wasn’t wired right.
Mickey: so maybe Ian’s gotta couple wires crossed, don’t mean he can’t love me. Don’t mean he can’t fight it, I can’t be there to fight it with him. I swear to god, Gallagher.
//Mickey pins Lip against the wall//
Lip: man, don’t get mad at me. I’m trying to help you out, okay? //Lip puts his hands up, falling way to Mickey. Showing he doesn’t want a fight. Mickey turns, punching the wall next to Ian’s bed//
Mickey: I love him, man. I love everything about the fucker. He’s crazy as hell and I know I’ve probably fueled his crazy instead of fix it, but I just want to make sure he’s okay. Protect him. Give him everything the world has to offer.

Summary: Mickey walks into a Gallagher party a free man. He and Ian have the reunion they deserve.

Word Count: 1809

Notes: I wrote this so fast, I don’t even know how.

It’s been a long time since Ian has seen Mickey— a really long time. He misses him more and more everyday, but he never fails to put on his brave face every morning. The reason he’s still strong enough to put on a smile is because he knows that it’s not over.

What Ian does everyday is fake it. He fakes being into his boyfriend— who knows everything about Mickey and seems to be very understanding. He fakes being happy. He fakes having energy, but he knows deep down that it will be worth it. He couldn’t afford to sulk around over Mickey because his family members would immediately think he’s falling into the depressed stage of his bipolar disorder. A secret though that he would not tell us that he had a ring in his top drawer waiting for Mickey’s return.

The last time Ian and Mickey spoke was about a week ago. Mickey promised him that he’d been home soon, possibly within the next two months, but as the days went on without speaking, it was making it hard for Ian to believe it.

Today though, the Gallagher clan was celebrating Frank’s return from his latest bender. Obviously the family could careless whether he was gone or not, it was just an excuse to throw a big party.

The party started around seven, but Fiona, V, Svet, Kev, and Ian were still getting everything ready. Ian and Veronica were setting up a keg, while Kev and Svetlana were coming in with the alcohol. Fiona was mainly just trying to get everything sorted, including Liam because he was jumping off the walls for some reason.

Once everything seemed to be ready, Lip walked in the house with Trevor on his heels. “Look who I found,” the older Gallagher boy said to Ian.
