but then he dumps her

lol i don't ship clary x jace cause i think it's so problematic. but i do ship clary x simon cause he treats her right. but honestly, i think they all should dump clary, i don't like love triangle dramas, cause it messes up friendships and in the end the ship i don't ship is endgame *cough* stelena/delena *cough*

SAME i mean i dont think its problematic personally i just still dont think kats a very good actress so i dont think clary has chemistry with anyone. and its weird because i feel chemistry from jace to clary but i’ve never felt any on clary’s side even though i know she’s supposed to have feelings for him D: the only ships im here for are sizzy and malec LOL

i dont think i ever introduced all my sonic gijinkas on tumblr but here they are..!

when I get anxious I basically need to doodle very cute things

I don’t want either Betty or Jughead to say they love the other in season 1, what I want is for season 2 Archie to “realize” that he has feelings for Betty and for him to confess them to her bc he thinks that she’ll dump Jughead and run into his arms bc “it was you all along~” but what actually happens is yeah Betty is confused and hurt for a while and when Jughead finds out what Archie said he’s crushed and thinks Betty will go to Archie bc “there were really only 3 ppl at that table” and “the good guy gets the girl” but one night Betty tries to talk to Jughead about it and he starts telling her that it’s okay and he’s not mad at her and then she cuts him off and says “I love you!”. And he just stops and stares at her and whispers “What?” and she reaches up and takes a hold of his face and says “I love you, Jughead”. And Juggie just breaks into the biggest smile you’ve ever seen and so does Betty and they kiss and I just. I want this. I want it.

I woulda given you the news but, y’know, you kinda made it clear you didn’t want to hear from me, so . . .

monop-olly  asked:

Wait what happened with the gay uprising in your school???

Okay, story time.

My high school was a public school with only 3 people out of the closet. A couple of girls we all vaguely saw holding hands and kissing a few times but nobody knew them, and myself.

When I started dating my girlfriend during my second year, I was pretty chill about it, I didn’t really care and her either, so we just did what every other couples did. She was still very private in her own way so people didn’t come to her that much, but I had the reputation to be a little too chill about it all. After a week or so, every two days someone would come to me to tell me they were bi or gay, a lot of my own friends did. One of my dude friends even wanted to talk to me in private so badly, I thought he was gonna ask me out and I freaked out… I only stopped screaming “PLEASE NO” when he yelled “I DON’T WANT TO GO OUT WITH YOU, I AM GAY TOO YOU DUMBASS” at me. All those people ended up befriending each other so in the end, we were a group of approximately 40 friends, with only like 5 totally straight people among us.

Our group of friends was very large so we were rarely all together, but when we were, well, we were kinda noticeable. So the other students started noticing too how girls and boys were holding hands and kissing, so other people started coming out in other groups and asked me about coming out stuff too. And it went on and on for a year. We started at 3 queer people and at the end of the year, the private High School of the same city was calling us The Gay High School.

Long story short, I was gay Moses in my second year of High School.

Witch Tip: How to foresight your next relationship

If you’re single, you probably wonder every so often when your next relationship will happen and how it will go. Asking your deck about your potential next potential significant other can prevent bad surprise and/or heartbreak. With the help of astrology, you can even guess the time range !

First and foremost, you need to be open-minded in your reading and analysis. Don’t do it with *that* specific person in mind, it will rig the whole process, because you might never get back/with that person, and the reading assumes you can.

I believe Time is like a probability tree: depending on your choices, you will get on a different timeline. But it doesn’t mean the timelines can’t reconnect at some point. Your choices aren’t always significant in the big picture and you can’t always escape a situation. Your journey can unfold in a million different ways, but at the end, you’ll reach the same destination.

I highly advise you to record the whole process in a file, it could be helpful later.

Now, here is an example of the reading you can do:

Concerning the time, you can ask your deck if you’re good with time guessing, but my favorite way is to check the sky.

Go to your favorite astrological website, and check your transits + natal chart for today. Where are Venus, Mars and Pluto ? Are they aspecting some of your personal planets ? Is there planets in your 5th, 7th house and 8th house ? (spoilers: if Saturn is transiting your 8th house, it’s gonna be pretty dry for a while)

Now, estimate what next aspects/placements would be meaningful and move forward the chart clock to estimate the right time. These clues includes:

  • Venus Return (when the transit Venus conjunct your natal Venus)
  • Venus, Mars, Pluto transiting your 5th, 7th, 8th house
  • Transit Venus aspecting your natal Moon
  • Aspects between the natal Venus/Mars and your natal Venus/Mars
  • Sun transiting your Moon and Venus sign
  • (don’t mind much the transit moon, it aspects your whole chart every month)

You need to have several clues to truly estimate a period, ex: Venus Return + Transit Moon trine Natal Venus.

Now that you have found a time range, you’ll use the transit of the moon or the sun to get the right day. The trigger can be a new moon, a full moon or the sun/moon aspecting your major clue element.

Note: I avoided a major heartbreak that way. I foresighted it 6 months before. Since I was distant with the guy I met on purpose, on the day I guessed, he got with another girl and dumped her a month later when his ex came back to him. When I learnt it, I was like “OMG it could have been me, OMG I almost got in so much deep shit”.

* I don’t recommend doing foresights if you’re already in a relationship, it could fuck it up

Okay so I’m slowly falling in love with the idea of Percy being a son of Aphrodite  because that au would be so neat like-

  • Percy still having his troublemaker smile and messy windswept hair and sea green eyes but there’s a certain almost uncomfortable beauty to him, inspiring a slight, undefinable uneasiness in most others because his eyes are almost too green and too deep and his crooked troublemaker smile dimples his left cheek in the most radiant way and even his messy windswept hair looks like it was supposed to be tousled in that way and all of his imperfections some how make him more appealing.
  • And because people don’t really understand where this uneasiness comes from so it just furthermore gets Percy labeled as a troublemaker at first glance.
  • Percy getting teased with/nicknamed ‘Pretty Percy’
  • Grover finding Percy at Yancy Academy because his smell is so potent that he knows that Percy must be powerful.
  • When Nancy Bobofit dumps her food onto Grover’s lap, Percy snaps for her to go jump in the fountain and to his surprise she actually does it and he’s never been so confused in his life.
  • (This of course starts the chain reaction that ends with him passing out on the deck of the Big House with the golden haired girl saying that he must be the one)
  • Annabeth Chase, Daughter of Apollo, gives him the tour around camp.
  • After Capture the Flag when Percy gets claimed there’s such a sense of disappointment from everyone - the kid who killed the minotaur with its own horn was a son of Aphrodite? Seriously?
  • But the disappointment is quickly replaced with shock when Percy disarms Luke at sword practice without even lifting his sword. He just told Luke to drop his sword, and without a second thought, Luke did.
  • Silena is the one who tells Percy about charmspeak.
  • He still becomes a master swordsman and is still one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful demigods of the series.
  • His charmspeak goes from being something that happened either on accident or in dire situations to being more potent then you could imagine. It freaks out a lot of people because he could tell you to do anything, and you would comply without a second glance.
  • He can actually feel love, whether it be romantic, platonic or otherwise. He’ll sense it between partners and families and friends, and he tries to describe it and how each love is distinct and different but no one quite understands - everyone except for Aphrodite that is.
  • One of his powers that he discovers later on in the series is the ability to manipulate love and everything that goes with it. It goes far beyond the trivial, relationship-ending things his siblings do. The love that he can feel and sense between people - he can ruin it, he can make it so it was if it was never there. He can turn that passion into burning hatred. He can turn want into obsessive desire. And that’s when he understands what Aphrodite says when she says that love can bring the gods to their knees.
  • He’s still the child of the prophecy. Aphrodite considers herself the oldest god, being created out of Ouranos. When he was defeated his immortal essence created the sea foam from which Aphrodite was born.

But now onto the cute headcanons of Aphrodite!Percy

  • Being absolute dorks with his siblings.
  • Playing princess dress up with Lacy and letting her do his makeup
  • Getting teased mercilessly by Silena for his totally obvious crush on Annabeth.
  • Using his charmspeak to tease and flirt with Annabeth.
  • Annabeth and him being jokingly known as the ‘flower’ couple of the camp because she’s sunshine and he’s love even though they’re both scary af.
  • Percy speaking fluent french
  • Percy speaking fluent french to Annabeth
  • Percy knowing that he’s attractive and being overly dramatic with hair flips and posing.
  • Percy using his aphrodite-esque powers and looks to become suddenly extremely alluring to Annabeth - which she then blushes and punches him in the arm while he snickers.
  • Percy breaking the stigmas that go along with being a child of Aphrodite.

alright, i see your frankly bs argument that jughead has had a crush on betty in the older comics and wasn’t aro/ace in them. let’s actually take a look into that

wow i can’t believe,, he’s so in love. he so badly wants to touch her in a romantic way.. how could i have been so blind??

like wow just. look at that face. he has such a huge crush on her wow

true love. he only wanted her for her cookies and literally dumped her when she burnt them once.

look!! the one time he willingly kissed a girl was because she actually fucking tasted like food! what a romantic

guys, it’s so clear he’s not aro/ace. he’s so interested and notices women all the time.

tl;dr jughead is aro/ace, always has been, and he and betty are really good friends.

tinkdw  asked:

I headcanon Ketch is all over 'alternative substances' ....

You know what, I think you’re right. But I don’t think his idea of a good time on drugs and DEAN’S idea of a good time on drugs is the same.

Dean is the “let’s split this joint and watch movies under some warm blankets and eat nachos” kind of dude

Ketch is the “let’s do cocaine off a stripper’s ass in the casino VIP lounge on a Tuesday afternoon” kind of dude

(Ketch is a thrill-seeking adrenaline junkie - motorcycle, tattoos, reckless awol missions/problem with authority, indiscriminate killing. Dean is not. Often they are poised as the same in canon, but their reasons for doing similar things are different, which I think would translate here as well.)

i love how much jim respects women and deconstructs gender stereotypes and the hyper-masculine hero trope in general

  • he loves cooking and cleaning and taking care of his household, a typically feminine role, not because his mom made him do it–she in fact sucks at cooking and rarely has time to clean–but because Jim just genuinely enjoys doing it.
  • he’s nurturing and compassionate. he enjoys taking care of his mom and best friend. he enjoys getting up early to pack his mom and best friend lunches. jim is shamelessly the Mom FriendTM.
  • his hardworking, single mother is literally his hero and he would do anything for her
  • “i am james lake, son of barbara”
  • the only time he’s ever willingly gotten into a fight with the school bully was when said bully insulted his mom. jim literally knocked him out and delivered the most iconic line: “she’s a doctor actually.”
  • he calls his best friend, toby, out when he mistakenly thinks toby’s insulting another woman, “okay so she’s not your type, you don’t have to be rude about it”
  • also gets fed up with toby when toby tries using ‘winning older girls’ as a reason jim should run for spring fling king
  • the gender roles are reversed between him and his crush, claire
  • she’s bold and confident. she takes the initiative, she asks him out, and its not until he’s sure she’s comfortable that he makes any real advances toward her.
  • claire’s also “the popular girl” but jim doesn’t care about her status. he doesn’t care about popularity. she’s not a prize to be won. he admires her as a person, and an equal.
  • claire’s also sorta “the smart girl” but she’s never just “the info dump” and jim doesn’t view her as such either. he doesn’t depend on her to tell him whats going on, like a lot of other male heroes i can think of.
  • between the two of them claire is more likely to be charging headfirst into the fray while jim is losing hair watching her. claire and toby both probably give jim gray hair by the time he’s 20.
  • jim is not brash and bold. he values safety. he’s constantly thinking about the danger around him. he’s patient. he works hard in training to be prepared for fights ahead of time. he takes his job seriously.
  • he actually reads the book. a lot of male heroes dismiss what the book has to offer, preferring to rely solely on their brawn (or, again, a “smart girl” to tell him what’s up), but jim doesn’t. he actually uses the book along with his combat training.
  • jim’s sensitive too. he literally cries.
  • he’s just really well-balanced?? he doesn’t lean extremely traditionally masculine or traditionally feminine. he likes cooking and taking care of his home, but he’s also into bikes and scooters and baseball. he’s an actual, well rounded person.
  • i can’t think of any one label you could pin him under except maybe “stressed”
  • he is a beautiful boy feminist i love him

feel free to add anything i missed

Ways Yvonne's character could have been written off (written by an amateur writer)

>Yvonne dumps him after the 20th time he picked Spencer over her in 7A
>Yvonne wakes up and Toby admits his feelings for Spencer.
>Toby is the one on the coma after the accident, when he wakes up he calls out for Spencer
>Yvonne catches Spoby kissing in 7x10
>Yvonne dumps Toby because she saw him kissing Spencer in 7x10
>Yvonne turns down his proposal because she knows he’s still in love with Spencer
>Yvonne wakes up and she and Toby find out she lost the baby (the pregnancy being the reason Toby wanted to stay with her)

When you get past her screeching responses to humor, Janice has never actually deserved our hatred. She’s never been anything but kind to the Friends and she was willing to give Chandler a shot when he was literally openly saying how much he despised her and basically just using her for sex and as a fallback. She’s also the only one who’s consistently willing to laugh at his terrible jokes, but that just seems to make him more full of hatred. In one episode, she helps him pack his apartment and move, even though he’s just lying to her. In another, she seeks comfort with Ross after their mutual divorces, and is treated like a garbage monster for sleeping with him … even though she and Chandler hadn’t been an item for a very long time. At Chandler’s request. Because he wanted nothing to do with her.

And about that time she cheated on Chandler? She made out with her husband, who she was in the process of divorcing. They actually end up getting back together, which means that, if anyone is an intruding third party, it’s Chandler.

Even if she hadn’t, Chandler never treated her like anything but a disposable pile of Long Island accents. He constantly dumped her at the slightest whim and repeatedly lied to her. If anything, kissing her husband was the best decision she made; she was getting with a person who wanted to be with her, unlike Chandler, a sentient ball of self-loathing and shit-talking made manifest.

Janice is just a regular person whose main flaw is that she gives Chandler the benefit of doubt too often, and she is absolutely demonized for it.

5 Fictional Characters Who Don’t Deserve Our Hate

Take Me Home

Saw Gerrera left Jyn in a bunker when she was 16. When she got the nerve to climb out, knowing she’d been dumped, a boy found her. He took her back to the Alliance and gave her a home. For a while. Until she left him.

It’s been a long time and Cassian needs her help to complete a mission the rebellion won’t support. Still tangled up and hurt from their breakup as teenagers, he knows this is going to be complicated.

(i’ve adjusted their ages from canon so they’re about the same)

Big shoutout to @captainandor, who did the Star Wars nerd once over. @kategecko for the editing once over. @ofhobbitsandwomen, @thewanderinguniverse, @happycos, @starmaammke, and @biteymadlady for the constant handholding and cheerleading. :)

i keep forgetting to share my theories about noora:

  • to me, in THE SECRET, she seems more guilty than sad when sana asks about dickhelm
  • the insistence of the girl squad to find noora a boyfriend and this season being about misunderstandings makes me feel that noora does not need a boyfriend
  • because she’s already dating someone and hiding them from the girl squad
  • but if the girls were to outright tell her they think she looks sad and are trying to cheer her up by finding her a bf then noora would confess
  • i think there was a weird emphasis in THE SECRET about her “coming back to norway” but that could just be me
  • i think noora lied about linn messaging her about eskild redecorating when she left the girls in that “getting hot in here” clip
  • she lied just after eva mentioned going back to her place so either it has something to do with avoiding eva’s place for some reason or it’s not related and noora had a rendezvous with whoever she’s dating (but we can see she is indeed holding her phone so she might have received a text…just not from linn)
  • she seems to keep refusing to let the girls in kollektivet
  • i think, in s3, we were meant to interpret noora talking about “taking a break” with dickhelm as her lying to herself and not accepting he dumped her when in fact she was telling the truth all along: she ended the relationship. but no one gives credit to noora. no one thinks she would ever break up with dickhelm, especially after s2
  • it’s still odd that she said “it will always be me and dickhelm” tho, if i’m right. but then that could just be that she wasn’t ready to tell the truth and it seemed easier at the time to pretend like they were still a romantic cliche
  • and i already said so but i don’t think she’s interested in yousef and i think she was trying to see if sana was. as her friend. she was playing matchmaker.
  • and that whole theory of noora already dating someone else, or at least having broken up with dickhelm, would go well with how the girls heard that dickhelm is dating someone in london and are shocked and think that he’s moved on too fast or is cheating on noora. so they see noora as the victim when she isn’t.

anonymous asked:

i hate rosita she's so extra this season :(

yeah, she is.

but then so was daryl back in season 2, after learning of sophia’s fate. he said incredibly cruel things to carol, as if his pain was so much greater than hers, and he was awfully rude to lori, dale and pretty much everyone else.

then in season 4, after hershel was killed, he acted like his grief and guilt were all that mattered, he kept giving beth – a teenage girl who’d just witnessed her father’s beheading – the silent treatment and then got drunk and acted like a total asshole, even physically dragging her out of the cabin at one point.

funnily enough, i don’t recall the fandom ever calling him out on any of these.

look, rosita is struggling right now and pushing people away is the most common, basic defense mechanism. rosita is actually canonically suicidal – she wishes she’d died instead of abraham and glenn because she feels like she’s no use to the group and they were. i’m not sure why she feels that way but if i were to guess i’d say abe dumping her the way he did did a number on her self-confidence. but of course she could just be dealing with survivor guilt, aggravated by the fact that she and abraham weren’t on good terms when he was murdered.

either way, rosita’s mission this season is to avenge abe’s and glenn’s deaths. she doesn’t care how and she doesn’t care what happens to her. it’s a very dangerous mindset, but she’s coping with her grief the only way she knows how. mind you, she still cares about the group – they’re her family and she would gladly die for any of them – but the events of 7x01 have made her bitter and reckless.

"Don't Ever Break Up With Me Again"

This joke of Mai’s is one of the most common points brought up by people who want to portray Maiko as unhealthy and Mai as abusive and controlling. However, the context of the last time Zuko broke up with her is what makes this joke. Because remember the last time Zuko broke up with Mai, she saved his life.

Mai and Zuko have broken up several times in canon so far, two of those times before her joke. The first time, Mai dumps Zuko after he flies into a jealous rage over her talking to another boy, throws that boy across the room, and then publicly insults Mai when she gets upset. After all of that, Mai doesn’t retaliate, she just breaks up with Zuko and tells him why. There’s no punishment, no attempt to control him, just the acknowledgement that she can’t be in a relationship with him if he’s going to do that.

The second time they break up, Zuko dumps Mai, by letter, in order to join the Avatar. She is furious. He abandons her, he commits treason, he probably puts her in a very awkward position with Azula and even the Firelord, and he doesn’t even tell her to her face. And she tells this to Zuko when she sees him again at the Boiling Rock. And then, almost immediately afterward, after he has locked her up, she breaks out to save his life and help him and his companions escape. And when she faces Azula afterward, she clearly expects to die for it. Again, there is no vindictiveness here, no attempt to punish Zuko for leaving her, in spite of the fact that she is obviously hurt. Instead she performs an act of profound love and sacrifice.

And this is why her joke in the finale works, because when she tells Zuko “Don’t ever break up with me again,” she is reminding him, and the audience of the last time he did, when she “sav[ed] the jerk who dumped [her].” Zuko, it’s also clear understands the joke for what it is, since after giving her a nervous, guilty, little smile, he relaxes happily into her arms.
