but then ended up making it worse

I’m not mad or disappointed with what Sana did today, as a matter of fact, the absolutely petty side of me wants her to ‘destroy’ Sara.

But Isak is right, Sana is a good person, one of the best and if she goes through with this she is going to end up regretting it which is just going to make her feel worse and I’m tired of Sana feeling like crap. There are 4 episodes left, I’m ready for the girl to have a little happiness.

Also if Noora’s ‘good things/news’ is about Yousef, I fucking give up.

Queenie's big Samurai Jack rewrite

If I were to rewrite Samurai Jack season 5, I’d start with episode 4 because it’s a mess.

First off Ashi wouldn’t be presented as a raving brainwashed lunatic. Yes she still has her mission to kill Jack, but she’s also angry that he killed all her sisters and says so outright. Also Jack doesn’t choose to spare her life just to prove to her that Aku is evil and he’s not. He’s doing it out of a sense of atonement for killing young women who he assumed were acting on their own free will but really weren’t.

So when they get swallowed by the giant monster Ashi still wants to kill him but Jack convinces her to stop because there’s more monsters trying to kill them both, and if she dies she can’t avenge her sisters and their deaths would be in vain. So Ashi begrudgingly agrees to a truce until they find a way out and doesn’t need Jack to carry her around like an infant. It’s more of a Teeth-Clenched Teamwork situation. Maybe at one point she saves Jack danger, but only because she wants to be the one to kill him herself.

When they finally do get out through the monster’s blowhole, instead of ending up on the ladybug island together, there’s a storm at sea that washes Jack and Ashi away to different places. This would give Ashi the chance to explore the world in episode 5 and question the beliefs her mother taught her without Jack’s influence. She goes looking for Jack because she still wants to avenge her sisters, and on the way she sees for herself the damage Aku has done and the innocent people he’s hurt.

Meanwhile Jack is still haunted by the Inner Jack, who makes him feel worse and worse about killing Ashi’s sisters. By the time Ashi finds Jack again she’s decided on her own to reject her mother’s teachings and stop Aku. Ashi starts traveling with Jack with the goal of helping him kill Aku, and then kill Jack to avenge her sisters. She hasn’t forgiven him so there’s still tension between them. The guilt continues to weigh on Jack’s conscience, so he keeps trying to atone for it by protecting Ashi.

Then the incident with the children at the factory could happen as it did in the show, Jack leaves with the Omen intending to commit seppuku, Ashi goes looking for him and meets people he’s helped along the way like in episode 6, and is slowly convinced that he’s a hero. She can still change her look to a leaf outfit but it’s more practical than the Tinkerbell skirt and has pants. She can still stop him from committing seppuku by reminding him of the good he’s done, but she’s also still determined to be the one who finally kills him in the end.

Episode 7 would have them traveling in search of Jack’s sword and they actually talk about their lives and get to know each other. Jack tells Ashi about how Aku took everything from him and sent him to the future and how he can’t age, Ashi tells him about her childhood in the cult’s cave and her abusive mother and her sisters, and they grow closer. Jack looks out for Ashi less out of guilt and more out of caring, and Ashi begins questioning whether it’s really worth it to kill him. The rest of the episode plays out the same way except Ashi’s battle with the army is shorter or doesn’t happen at all, giving more time and focus to her final confrontation with her mother.

Episode 8 is completely different. Now that Jack has his sword back, he and Ashi are looking for Aku and along the way the run into the Scotsman and his army. Besides his daughters he’s recruited more of Jack’s old friends to fight with them (the Archers, the Spartans, the Robots, the Triceraquins, etc) . They all have the same mission to destroy Aku so they join forces and travel together. While Jack catches up with his best friend, Ashi befriends the Scotsman’s daughters and is surprised by how different their family is from hers. They treat her like she’s one of them, and Ashi feels like part of the family.

The main plot points of episode 9 stay the same without the romantic developments. Jack worries that he’s putting Ashi and his friends in danger and tries to leave, Scaramouche reaches Aku and tells him Jack lost his sword, Ashi catches up to Jack in the Guardian’s ruins, Aku shows up and realizes Ashi is his child, and turns her into his puppet to kill Jack.

Episode 10 is a two parter. The Scotsman’s army follows Jack and Ashi’s trail to Aku’s castle and they attack. The battle plays out mostly the same except it’s longer, we see more of Jack trying to take back his sword, and more of Ashi struggling to overcome Aku’s power. Instead of Jack saving her with a love confession, she has a vision of her sisters encouraging her to live and be free. She rebels against Aku, fights him with his own powers, and gets Jack’s sword back. When Aku scolds her for disobeying her father, she says that Jack is her real father.

Part 2 has Jack and Ashi working together to destroy Aku in an intense final showdown. Aku can’t control Ashi anymore and Jack has his sword back, and they deliver the finishing blow together. When the fight is over Ashi still has Aku’s powers. They are a part of who she is but she can control them, and she offers to make a portal to send Jack home. Jack realizes that if he kills Aku in the past, the future and everyone in it will cease to exist. Jack chooses to stay and help repair the damage Aku has done. He and Ashi help the Scotsman and his family bury the dead and celebrate their victory. Soon all the world knows Aku is dead and everyone celebrates their freedom. Jack has a vision of his mother and father telling him how proud they are.

The episode ends with an epilogue set several years later. The world is in a new golden age of peace and prosperity. There are still dangers and villains, but Aku’s evil no longer infests the Earth. Ashi stays with Jack and uses her powers to help people, and Jack treats her like family and is proud of how far she’s come. He watches her grow older and wiser and make more friends. They reunite with old friends like the Scotsman’s family regularly. Jack is still ageless but he’s succeeded in his goals and is no longer alone. He lives out the rest of his days with his friends and found family until he finally dies of natural causes and bequeaths his sword to Ashi, leaving the world’s safety in her hands.

How to kill off a character

Remember when Bobby died and he got a whole episode dedicated to his death and the boys were really upset about it and we were upset but in a way it was okay because he was dying for his boys and it furthered the plot and stuff? Then later he ends up coming back as a ghost so we got him back for a while before having to say goodbye to him again seemingly for good, except we have seen him at least once per season in some way.

That is how you kill off a beloved character.

Bobby had been in the show for multiple years at that point and was a universally loved character by both the other characters in the show and the fans. Doing anything less for him would have been unacceptable. Sure, I wasn’t happy to see him go, I cried, but it was well written and executed in a way that felt right and the fact that he has never been forgotten just made it better.

Now let’s skip ahead to present day. To the death of a character who is just as important as Bobby was and who has been around even longer. Surely he would get similar treatment, right? Nope. Instead of a whole episode he gets one scene. Instead of being mourned over and cared about by the characters no one even cares enough to have any feelings about his death. Instead of progressing the story in a meaningful way his death doesn’t really mean anything. Instead of being remembered and coming back in the future we get nothing. He was here one scene being insulted and then the next scene he’s dead and gone forever.

If the writers had the decency to kill off Crowley in the same respectful manner that they did Bobby then it wouldn’t be so bad. Of course we would all still be upset and complaining, but it wouldn’t hurt so bad. Instead we had to watch a beloved character get mistreated over and over only to have him get thrown away never to return. In a perfect world, Crowley would never have died, but if they really, truly had to kill him off they shouldn’t have done it in such a painfully lazy way.

PLEASE TELL THE CHILDREN THE STORY OF MS. STUBELS

Grace fuck, why would you invoke her name like that???

Okay, fine, gather round children, buckle up because we’re going on a bumpy ride back to everyone’s collective least favorite place: 7th grade.

Some background: I went to a very small Catholic school. One class per grade (we were the largest with 19 kids), everyone knew each other whether they wanted to or not. Despite basically every teacher and faculty members insistence that we were The Best And Most Special Class In The School and that everyone loved having us, the longstanding 7th grade teacher Mrs. O’Hara decided to retire in the summer of 2008, meaning the school had to find us a new teacher for the upcoming year. This would be like, the first new teacher in the school in a while, and as she was getting the ‘best class’, it was viewed as a Big Deal. Somewhere in like July or August we got a letter announcing Mrs. Stubel, and it came with a list of books to pick for the summer reading, and that was basically all the information we had.

So…the first day of class. She seems nice enough. Very…ditsy, I guess? It was very easy for her to get herself off topic while talking. She constantly paced around the room, never staying in one spot for longer than a second, complaining she has restless leg syndrome. Which like, I’m sure she did, but she was in the middle of introducing herself and then went on a 20 minute tangent about restless leg syndrome without anyone prompting her. It was almost like you could see her scattered thoughts flying around her head.

So anyone, she eventually gives somewhat of an introduction- she had only taught in public schools before, and kept worrying she ‘didn’t know’ how to teach in a Catholic school despite the entire class insisting literally nothing was different, you just teach the curriculum, twice a week we have religion class with Sister Mary King, that’s literally it (she still talked over us in worry), she told us about her kids, she told us about her obsession with Emily Dickinson, stuff like that.

And then she hands us this worksheet.

She’s like, “Oh, these are just some basic questions for you to answer! Just so I can get to know you guys better!” like in lieu of an icebreaker game, which is fine, but…the questions. The questions were all “What is your most haunting fear?”, “What is your deepest regret?”, “Have you ever experienced the pain of loss?”, “What was your worst injury?”, “What was your worst nightmare?”, all questions like that, and then on the back she wanted us to draw a gravestone and write out what we wanted our epitaph to be.

We were twelve year olds, mind you.

Oh my God and one girl missed the first day because of her grandmother’s funeral, so when she came the next day and saw what the teacher was insisting she do for homework, she almost had a panic attack? And the lady still made her do it? Literally who wants to think about death anymore at a time like that omfg.

Okay, so then we get to the summer reading book reports, right? Now, she had given a list of maybe, 20 books that you could pick from, read it, and then present an oral report on it. You had to have notecards and you had to be able to answer questions from the class at the end. All in all, I’ve had worse projects.

So, on this list, she apparently put Madeleine L’Engle’s entire book series on the list…only she did not make it known that this was a series and not multiple stand alone books, so when reports started up it caused mass-panic of kids trying to put together plot points and make connections on what the hell they had read.

I was the only kid in the class who had chosen to read “A Wrinkle In Time”, and that has since lead to a series of events that…really actually scares me, I’m still incredibly freaked out, I’m not going to get into it right now because it’ll take away from the current story, but just know that I’m not above wondering if it only happened because I read the book for Stubel.

Anyway, so like, I got through the report okay. The class asking questions about it was fine, but the teacher kept asking questions that didn’t make sense, like, at all. My friend Angie has always had super neat handwriting and Mrs. Stubel got like, obsessed with her notecards and asked if she could borrow them for something. When we got our grades back a few weeks later, Angie had points taken off for not having notecards.

And then her teaching just…didn’t happen. She’d never stay on a topic, she’d always get herself distracted! We were not learning anything. And like, this wasn’t a class of advanced smart kids that loved to learn. By all accounts we should’ve been thrilled. But it got out of hand. It got to points where we had to start teaching lessons to ourselves, asking teacher from other grades for help, always coming home in tears, complaining constantly to our parents and the principal because this woman wasn’t teaching us anything. There were two kids who asked her multiple times for extra help, and she told them each time to ‘talk to me after school’, but then she’d leave immediately after school so they wouldn’t be able to talk to her. They finally brought up the issue in the middle of class and she had a breakdown, yelling about how nobody ever thinks that maybe the teacher has a lot of work to do, and maybe she’s entitled to taking off early, but when we tried to argue she shouldn’t schedule meetings and then break them off in the name of relaxation, she stormed out of the room and tried to get the principal to give us detention. (Which, like, our school didn’t even do, and she was the only one in the wrong during this situation) We are still in September at this point, and already at least ten kids have parents considering transferring them to another school. (And remember, there was only 19 of us, and most of the class had been together since preschool, so that was a big deal).

Then, she starts coming in with all the weird bruises. All the Moms™ immediately started gossiping that her husband had to be beating her, and that’s why she was so screwy in the head. But the way she talked about her husband made it seem like he *might* be dead, and we actually did witness her fall and smack her head into a doorknob once, so no one really knew what to believe. (Also, I’m not trying to imply that abuse would make someone crazy or ‘damaged’ or anything, this is just what was being said. I think they were trying to turn her into a more sympathetic character, because if you feel sorry for her you don’t have to hate her for frustrating your kids so much, and Hate Is A Bad Emotion.)

Also…this woman and Emily Dickinson.

She talked about Emily Dickinson every chance she could get. None of us knew who Emily Dickinson really was before she got there and you could see in her mind it was a capitol offense. She found out the curriculum didn’t have room to cover her (because like, we had a text book), and was way too upset about it. She started reading her poems whenever she found the time (usually somewhere in history class), and always gave us very detailed accounts about her dressing up as Emily and reading her poetry at the library.

Now, two things to note here:

  1. The library did not hire her to do this. She would literally just get in the mood, put on an Emily Dickinson costume that she made by herself, drive to different libraries, and just read poetry out loud to everyone there until someone eventually asked her to leave.
  2. The way she described these events…her tone, the look on her face, her posture…you could just tell that she was getting some sort of sexual gratification out of this? Like dressing up as Emily Dickinson in public and reading her sad poems is really what got this lady’s jollies rocking? Got her all hot and bothered? Which is…a lot, but why would you tell a bunch of seventh graders about it holy shit. What about that sounds like a good idea! What about that turns you back on!

So anyway, we learned a lot about Emily Dickinson against our will.

One of the Davids™ was reading a book for pleasure- which shouldn’t have been a shocker, a lot of kids always had books on them, but Stubel got really interested and asked if she could borrow it from him. He was like ‘sure, after I finish it?’ but she took it that day. He asked her for it back for like five weeks straight.

And…the strudels.

Okay, so the school was trying some dorky thing to promote ~togetherness~ or some virtue or something, I don’t remember the specifics of why, but each class had to make a huge themed poster and hang it on the wall outside the classroom. Which was like, whatever, not the most thrilling project but at least it allowed us to be productive vs just sitting there as the teacher runs about the room rambling about her family vacation from four years ago. Mrs. Stubel decided we needed a quirky nickname and after like three days of deliberation we were christened “Stubel’s Special Strudels”!

(points for alliteration or whatever, but no one actually voted for that and what exactly do strudels have to do with Catholicism? It became a big running joke amongst the kids)

Also, in case you were wondering, she didn’t explain the assignment correctly to us- so every other class had like these beautiful, artistic, well-themed and put together posters, while ours was just…literally a bunch of shit thrown together on paper. Nothing fit with each other, it was literally embarrassing to look at.

But then…she wouldn’t drop the strudel thing. Like she kept bringing it up. She got really into strudels and would just tell us random shit about them. Finally, someone jokes that we should get strudels one day for a party (like instead of a pizza party), and she’s Freaking Out and On Board. She really wants to buy us strudels and have a breakfast party now. She talked about it for like two days straight.

So like… you know in school when you would have a pizza party, usually the teacher would buy it? That’s how they always happened in my experience (not counting the last day of 10th grade when some kid had pizza delivered to the school for lunch but it didn’t get there until math class lol). But especially in grade school? Like if it wasn’t a PTA made party that’s super organized, the school would buy the food, right? Right?

Yeah, so she was like, if this is happening you guys need to give me the money. Just give me the money and then I’ll pick them up on my way to work!! And after some arguing some kids are on board. Strudels should only cost a couple dollars right?

And she’s like, oh no, I’m gonna get them from this high end bakery near my house so it’ll be special, but they’re not cheap and it’ll be a big order! I’m gonna need like fifteen dollars from each of you!

And at this point I’m just like…lady. Come on.

But she keeps insisting. She’s not gonna go until every student in class pays up.

And I’m like…I’m poor. I don’t even like strudel.  And some of the less-naïve kids are siding with me.

And then she pulls that “you guys are just spoiling all the fun for your classmates” shit, like the naïve kids who already paid up, so it gets to the point where we just gotta cave and give her the money.

(I ended up stealing it out of my Crazy Bitch Aunt’s wallet so it’s whatever, I guess.)

And then of course, shockingly enough, every morning she was met with “where are the strudels?” and every morning she went wide eyed, slapped her forehead and yelled in embarrassed horror “I totally forgot! Tomorrow, guys, I promise!”

Honestly, with how scatterbrained and confused she always was…like to this day I can’t tell you with 100% certainty whether she hustled us or was just actually forgetting about the damn pastries, I choose to lean towards the hustled us side because that’s just the type of people I’m used to, but if I found out it was innocent forgetfulness I wouldn’t exactly be surprised.

She couldn’t handle more than one person talking at a time. Like, we’d have break periods, or group work, or something and all the talking made her go wide-eyed and batty. She’d look overworked and anxious and would be darting around the room trying to do work or something but she couldn’t focus and she’d yell at anyone who tried to talk to her directly. I remember one time she was using this boys desk for something so he asked “where am I supposed to sit?” and she snapped “Sit on the ceiling for all I care!”. And this kid was the Class Clown™ , so he immediately grabbed a chair in one hand and started climbing the bookcase to try and reach the ceiling. She’s standing right next to this and doesn’t even notice. He got all four chair legs planted on the ceiling and was trying to somehow maneuver his way into the chair (I really don’t know what the plan was exactly- he was really tall and it was a small building, so I think he probably had the idea that if he can get his body upside down and in the chair, and stretch out his arms like a hand-stand to hold onto bookcase, he could arguably sit on the ceiling.) but he slipped. Crashed into my desk and the two desks next to me, knocked over the book case, broke the chair in half and hit the desks with enough force to knock them down lower. It was hilarious. Everyone was loosing their shit cracking up (he was fine) and it still took Stubel like five minutes to notice his lying out across the desks right in front of her eyes. She was pissed but how did she miss any of it in the first place? She was barely being helpful in whatever it was she was trying to do.

This was the year the Phillies were going to the World Series, and all the grades were having a Phillies Rally in the cafeteria so a news crew was coming to the school and each class was supposed to come up with fun little cheers for them to broadcast. Multiple cheer ideas were presented to her and she vetoed all of them, someone even suggested just singing the damn eagles theme song with replaced words and calling it a day but she vetoed that too, she was very adamant that she could come up with a cheer all by herself and it’ll be the best one (whoever had the best cheer was winning like an ice cream day or something idk). And then like…literally five minutes before the rally she just hands us signs with the letters and was like ‘we’re just gonna spell out Phillies it will be cute won’t it my strudels???’. We were the weakest class there, predictably. I think we lost to the kindergarteners. There might still be a video online of me yelling “ i “ passionately at the top of my lungs. It was online bc our cheer was so bland the news crew cut it out of the broadcast.

I literally can’t say enough about how she never taught us anything. She’d be going on some tangent about how she doesn’t understand the science behind skiing, and I’d be like “Okay yes but please can you just tell me where Romania is on a map???” And she’d start fights whenever someone actually wanted to learn. It was so easy to get her angry but so hard for her to stay on topic. Kids started teaching the class themselves! Like seriously, she’d be rambling and one of us would just go up to the podium, open the teacher’s guide textbook and just start reading out loud and talking over her. By the time she noticed we’d be halfway through a lesson. And we understood it better than when she tried! You know something’s wrong when pre-teens are more qualified for a job than an adult who supposedly went to school for this.

We were in the church having run-throughs for our upcoming Confirmation and she almost set the church on fire…fifteen different times. In less than half an hour. How hard is it to hold a candle?

Okay, and here’s when stuff starts kicking up. It was October 28th, a Tuesday, and it was our last day of school that week because they were having parent-teacher conferences the rest of the week. So we were just hanging out, watching movies in class and reading (lord knows we weren’t learning), and Stubel calls me over to her desk.

So like, she had given everyone little bags with candy for Halloween, but I get up there and she hands me an extra one. And she’s like “Molly I know your birthday is tomorrow and I bought you a present but I left it on my coffee table this morning by accident! So just have the candy for now!”

And I’m like….”Ma’am I’m like, the sixth birthday this year. You didn’t give anyone else presents?”

And she goes “Oh, I know but this is a special secret surprise. I just know you’re gonna love it! Do you wanna stop by my house later this week to pick it up or should I just give it to you Monday after school?”

And like…In writing this sounds like a non-threatening exchange, and like, it was, but I felt so uncomfortable holy shit. I’m looking over my shoulder and shooting my friends SOS signals. Something about this felt so weird in my gut omfg. I told her thanks and I’d just see her Monday.

So we flash forward to Wednesday- my 13th birthday, the day the Phillies won the world series, and also the day my mother innocently strolled into the school for her meeting only to be met with screaming, the sound of heavy destruction, and the school secretary Mrs. Daily running at her in a panic, waving her arms and yelling “YOUR MEETING IS CANCELLED YOUR MEETING IS CANCELLED GET IN MY OFFICE NOW!”

So my poor mother, who thought she could handle this whole meeting in a few minutes and barely be an hour late for work, is now barricaded in the front office with the school secretary, as the noises from down the hall get louder and louder. The woman explains that they had gotten so many complaints about Mrs. Stubel that this morning, when she got to the school, the principal Sister Patricia called her in and said “Listen, we need you to be professional and still have the parent conferences, but we have to let you go. We just don’t think you fit in well here, and the kids need to come first and feel comfortable in their school.” and like, I’m paraphrasing because I wasn’t there, but we all know she was very polite and professional about it.

Mrs. Stubel, however…was not.

She flipped her chair and stormed out of the office, and locks herself in the seventh grade classroom. She started wrecking the shit out of that place, screaming obscenities and the top of her lungs, they had to call the cops on her! She was locked in there for almost an hour! And let me just give you a nice little list of everything she did in that classroom:

  • Smashed three windows.
  • Threw everything off her desk and carved swear words all over it.
  • Got cleaning fluid that she knew would damage the chalk boards, smeared it all over.
  • Cracked the chalk boards by repeatedly smashing chairs against them.
  • Wrote swear words all over the walls and on desks
  • Went into students desks, ripped up their books.
  • Stole my glasses. (which were in my desk bc I only used them in class at the time)
  • Threw some desks around.
  • Carved swear words into the boards. (there was so much carving I’m assuming she just had a knife on her person, which has to lead to the question, did she have a knife on her while she was in class with us?)
  • Physically ripped the hooks to hang backpacks on out of the wall.
  • Knocked the closet door off it’s hinges.
  • Ripped up all the books in the bookcases and threw their pages all around the room.
  • Wrote lewd phrases inside student’s desks.
  • Broke multiple chairs.
  • Used her podium as a battering ram against the wall that’s in front of where the backpacks go. (the wall won but Damage Was Inflicted)
  • Set a fire in the trash can.
  • When the principal and other teachers started trying to get in, she tossed her rolling chair at the door to scare them off.
  • She was screaming curse words at the top of her lungs the entire time, and cursing the school and the kids and the principal and the church in general, and the school building was small, so all the parents and the smaller children that had to come to the meetings (who were locked in their respective classrooms in fear) heard everything.
  • So much more? But it’s 4:30 in this morning and this list is already long.

So my mom is in the front office and deadass the

entire police force

shows up, running down the hallway to the classroom yelling at her to stop, and it takes a while for them to get her out holy shit. They knocked down the door and she tried to escape out of one of the broken windows! But they got her and dragged her out.

So of course, in such a small school with very involved parents this shit spread like wildfire. The entire town knew within the day. The poor principal called the newly retired old-seventh grade teacher and was like “So we…need some help” and the lady was like “I already heard I’ll be there Monday” omfg. I remember I got a text from one of my classmates saying “if your birthday wish was for us to be set free from the beast I love you” omfg.

So, we eventually go back to school on Monday and everyone’s buzzing. The principal has us go to the cafeteria and she ‘delicately’ explains the situation, and that the old teacher is coming out of retirement for us, the school has a restraining order against Mrs. Stubel now and that she’s sorry we had to deal with this mess. Our classroom had to go under some heavy reconstruction before we could be let back in there, so for like two weeks we alternated between the cafeteria and the preschooler’s classroom, we had no books or anything, just provided loose-leaf paper and pens. It was like, surreal, but everyone was just so happy to be rid of her and to be in the presence of a competent teacher omfg. We eventually were able to get back into our usual classroom.

  1. It took a while for things to go completely back to normal, though. After the big spectacle she made, for weeks after she was fired we were all very scared of the possibility of Mrs. Stubel returning to the school with a gun in hand. It was always a topic we whispered about at lunch with wide eyes and shivers. Like…genuine nightmare scenario.
  2. About two weeks after she was fired, a boy in the back of the classroom gasped loudly during SSR, and when we all looked at him, he whispered in anger “She never gave us our freakin’ strudels!”
  3. About three months after she was fired, we were lined up at the door to go to Library when a few of us looked through the windows and saw something darting through the trees. It was fast and we couldn’t make anything out, so we let it drop. When the class and teacher returned half and hour later, the book she had borrowed months before from one of the boys was sitting on his desk. It was just laying there, the room was silent, nothing had been disturbed…but I have never seen a book look so threatening. People were freaking out. Someone kept insisting that she turned the book into a bomb. No one figure out how she got in the school, and no one could figure out how she got it on the right desk, as we had switched the seating arrangement since she had last been there.
  4. A full six months after she had left, it was nearing the end of the school year and our class was dicking around during our last computer class. Someone found a website (that we weren’t allowed to be on) that pulls up any police records attached to whoever’s name you enter, so someone decided to search Mrs. Stubel as a joke. We ended up finding out she had like six DUI’s.

Aaaaand that’s the story of the horrendous teacher I had for two months in 7th grade. One of my favorite party stories but tbh she still haunts me™ .

13 Reasons Why characters

Justin Foley: Massive dickhead. Barely redeemable. He has a tragic backstory and a shitty childhood. However, he’s a massive douche, who let a girl get raped and lied to her, he was willing to kill a guy to save his own back and only right near the end did he decide to admit he was in the wrong and even then we don’t see him do anything to actually help the situation. This guy needs some emotional help and needs to start being a much better person and only then would he ever be anywhere near redeemable.

Jessica Davis: At first I hated her for refusing to listen to her friend but then I realized this is similar to most girl as we are taught to trust our boyfriends more than our friends which sucks. However, she still tried to be nice to Hannah shortly after and a bit of communication could have helped their situation so much. I feel like she’s well and truly suffered enough and didn’t deserve any of the shit that happened to her. Already redeemed.

Alex Standall: As much as guys dont want to admit it and girl would deny it, these lists happen so often its unreal. I’ve seen groups of girls and boys alike make lists ranking others. Its not okay at all but its something that happens so often that it just goes to show how something so simple can be so harmful towards someone. He hurt two girls with this list, Jessica and Hannah. I feel like he is redeemable as he shows the most guilt to the point its shown he’s considering his own suicide. He knows what he did was wrong even if it wasn’t as hefty as some of the other guys. He was redeemed as soon as he admitted what he did was wrong.

Tyler Down: I don’t get why everyone is up Justin’s ass but hate this kid. They both committed a similar crime. One is a pervy stalker and the other took what was an innocent mishap and made it into something filthy and then distributed it. I hate them both but they are incredibly similar except one is the lonely isolated loser with a camera who was bullied beforehand and the other a popular jock with a bad home life. As far as I’m concerned if one has the possibility to be redeemable then so does the other. I feel like Tyler needs some serious help, the kind that Hannah needed but never got. Except where Hannah killed herself, this guy is going to kill others. I can actually see some parallels between Hannah and Tyler, the only difference one is a creep and deserves at least a years sentence in prison. This kid really isn’t okay mentally and thats shown throughout the series, do I feel sorry for him? No. But, he would be redeemable if he got help and it turns out that he didn’t shoot Alex like many people are speculating. As far as I’m concerned, you cant love Justin and hate this guy as they both did similar crimes except one let his girlfriend get raped. Both are creepy assholes. Also, at least the kid told the parents and people about the fucking tapes and Hannah unlike the other assholes trying to cover it up.

Courtney Crimson: She annoyed the fuck out of me when she was defending Bryce and trying to call Hannah a liar when it was already established that these tapes are all true. However, after actually taking some consideration into her character I can understand why she was scared and thought what she was doing was right. Yes this is the 21st century and her parents were gay so she must have known she’d be accepted. But its not that simple, she’s probably seen her parents go through shit and heard them say that her parents homosexuality would rub off on her. If she came out she would give the homophobes what they wanted, evidence to back their claim. I don’t agree with her further spreading rumours and defending a rapist. But with some compassion I find her story more redeemable than some of the others. Her character showed just how spiteful females can be towards each other. I feel like if she would just tell the truth, she could have been a redeemable character.

Marcus Cole: I haven’t seen this guy mentioned despite the fact he’s so much worse than both Justin and Tyler. He literally assaulted a girl in broad daylight and got away with it. And then when she dies he shows no remorse and even tries to stop the tapes from being distributed. He is one of the only two absolutely nonredeemable characters because he shows no remorse and only cares about his reputation. Whilst watching this I honestly got the feeling this guy has no compassion or emotions whatsoever and the only reason he didn’t agree with Justin wanting to hurt Clay is because he knew it could cause problems. He was only interested in calculating the best situations for himself and that makes him way worse because even at the end he didn’t think he did anything wrong.

Zach Dempsey: The ‘nice guy’ mixed in with the wrong crowd. He may actually be a kind and nice guy but his popularity made him feel entitled and when Hannah pushed him away he acted out in revenge. What would have been a petty revenge on its own took away some of a girls last bit of happiness. He obviously had his own problems and confidence issues and what he did wouldn’t have been so bad without the other things that happened.  He’s definitely a redeemable character.

Ryan Shaver: I don’t feel like he was focused on enough. He’s definitely a prick but he seems to be the only one to outright be like ‘yeah I’m an asshole’. He seems to be the kind to tell the truth and whilst still being a thoroughly unlikable character he does seem to want to do whats right. He know what Bryce did was wrong and he blatantly addresses the fact that Courtney is defending a rapist and is a rape apologist. I didn’t like him because of his lack of emotions however I did appreciate a character with a decent moral compass and I think hes redeemable but needs to take more interest in peoples lives outside of his stupid writing.

Clay Jensen: Actual sweetheart. Unfortunately, he didn’t see the signs but its shown throughout the series that he helped her feel both better and worse in some of these situations. However, he has nothing to be forgiven for as he technically did nothing wrong except not notice which he tries to make up for with Skye at the end.

Sheri: I guess she deserves to be forgiven when it comes to Hannah as she was just trying to be nice and after Clay is probably the nicest on this list. However, I feel like she let what others think help her to make decisions that aren’t as forgivable. However, she still deserves a chance at becoming a better person even if she does get put in prison for some time.

Bryce Walker: Let him burn. That’s all I have to say about this fucker, he is not redeemable at all. Kill it with fire. He has no reason for what he did other than being a giant jackass with money.

Mr. Trey Porter: Redeemable but a jackass. He’s one of those teachers that doesn’t actually give a shit about the students. The fact he told Hannah just to move on when shes been raped and is physically, verbally and sexually abused almost everyday is sickening and shows you just how good these anti-bullying campaigns actually are when teachers don’t even give a shit.

I know a few people do not like the show, however I think it was good because it showed plenty variations of mental health, abuse and bullying with out actually addressing them but still showing the consequences. We didn’t just get Hannah’s story we got all the others stories too and it shows how mental health and bullying really can cause a butterfly affect. This show may not have been perfect but it was accurate and important.

EDIT: When I measure how redeemable these characters are, I’m not saying what they did was okay. I’m measuring how forgivable they are or if they do deserve forgiveness at all. This is my opinion obviously, you’re allowed to think differently.

i promised more Miraculous x Hunter art and HERE YA GO

there is so much about this that I like and don’t like–there is something about this that still doesn’t look right to me (maybe the perspective?) but oh well. :/ sorry for my sketchy art style lmao

sometimes Gon(as Ladybug) tries to put the moves on Chat Noir(Killua) and sometimes he gets close to getting what he wants–but it usually ends up with Chat pushing him off a building from embarrassment XD

Steven’s Mental Health in Season 4...

…and why he didn’t save the Rubies, unbubble Bismuth, or confront his feelings about Jasper.

Because there is a reason, brought to light by the events of I Am My Mom, and it fits rather well with Steven’s character as of late.

Throughout Mindful, he doesn’t want to think about what he’s gone through because his personal trauma from it is just too great. But then it all comes crashing down at the end, and he forces himself to confront it, right?

Well no, actually. At the end of the episode, Stevonnie just lands in the field and smiles at the sky. At the time, I criticized this for being a quick resolution, but now I realize that that was never a resolution at all: It was just Steven burying his emotional problems even deeper so that not even Stevonnie could be affected by them.

That’s why he doesn’t immediately go to make amends with Bismuth or Jasper or Eyeball: The traumatic stress he associates with their encounters override any sense of empathy he has towards them, and he subconsciously tries to forget so he doesn’t feel that guilt and can just go back to the way things were before (much like a certain singing Diamond he’s heard so much about…)

I think that once Steven’s mental state improves, he’ll consciously try to make amends.

Take a look at the next time Steven’s issues came to a boil, Steven’s Dream: This time, all it takes is a simple question from Steven and a panicked outburst from Garnet to drive Steven into an angry rant about “everyone lying” to him. The problems from Mindful were still eating away at Steven, he probably just didn’t realize it because he was pretty much avoiding those thoughts altogether, and for a while, it was working.

So, Steven goes to Korea, Greg gets kidnapped, and now Steven has a whole new set of things to be guilty over. No matter how justified his actions might have been, Steven’s biggest character flaw is his guilt complex, so he inherently feels responsibility for what happened. (And this isn’t recent, we saw a glimpse of it in Message Received when he blamed himself for Peridot’s supposed betrayal)

However, in the episode Steven’s just too busy worrying about his dad to hear “Oh Steven we’re so sorry” and he rushes them into space. They run into the Rubies and Steven does say “We’ll pick them up on the way back” but pay attention to his tone of voice: It doesn’t sound like he’s saying “Oh no they’re out here we have to save them,” he’s saying “Yeah yeah those guys yeah let’s get back to work and save dad okay” because Steven wasn’t exactly in the best emotional state at the time. I can completely understand his subconscious just NOT wanting to think about the Rubies at all because the events of Bubbled leaving a lingering negative connotation.

After Steven gets back, he’s forced to confront his demons yet again in Storm in the Room, but hey! Everything’s fine in the end because Greg got pizza and it’s all smiles…

Until we get to Lion 4 and he’s right back in the thick of an existential crisis. Sure, he gets a talk with Greg and this is resolved in the end…but is it?

Because by the end of that very week, Steven is giving himself up to be executed in his mother’s place. And all it took was a small mistake he made long ago, and a scenario in which there were no other immediate options.

So, to answer the question of why Steven supposedly let others suffer throughout season 4, it’s because he is suffering himself. He’s been wallowing in it all season, and he hasn’t done anything substantial about it because in his mind that’ll just make things worse and make himself a burden to others. I mean, look at what happened every time his true feelings rose to the surface:

- Mindful Education: Connie almost fell to her death.

- Steven’s Dream: Greg got kidnapped.

These were things that were resolved in the immediate, sure, but long-term? Steven doesn’t want anyone to get hurt, and he’s been indirectly led to believe that by confronting his problems, he’ll just cause others harm.

So we get to I Am My Mom, and he’s given a way out: Sure, he *thinks* he’s doing it to save the Earth and his friends, but subconsciously he’s doing it because it’s his ticket out of the mess he’s been stuck living in for the past four seasons.

The takeaway I get from Season 4 is that Steven’s emotional issues are much bigger than anyone could suspect, and that a million “Sorry’s,” “It’s not your fault’s,” fusion therapy sessions, and sweet words & smiles can only help him so far.

This isn’t the season of Steven letting people suffer for no reason; It’s the season of Steven suffering himself without anyone taking enough notice to do anything, to the point where he inadvertently lets people suffer out of his own desire to not make things worse.

“Don’t worry,” Greg & the Gems probably told themselves after Bubbled, Mindful Education, and the Zoo arc, “Steven’s fine now. See? He’s happy, he must be fine. We told him it was alright, he must be fine. If there was something wrong, we would know about it. He’s doing fine.”

Well he wasn’t.

"Look mommy! She's got polka dots!"

(OR: A surprising ending)

So, I have very bad acne on my face. Since I don’t wear any makeup to cover it up- as that would make it worse- it’s always noticeable. Well, there were these kids- probably 5 at the oldest- at work the other day. One of them saw me as I was working, pointed at me and exclaimed: “Look mommy! She’s got polka dots!”

I immediately wanted to hide in shame. The mom didn’t say anything, and I walked away. Later I saw the kids again, and the same one pointed at me and said the same thing.

This time the mom responded, and, without looking at me or missing a beat, she said:

“Yes, she’s very beautiful, isn’t she?” And the kids replied:

“Yeah! Very beautiful!”

I went from wanting to cry of shame to almost crying of happiness. I hope that mom knows how much that means to me, that she would call me beautiful.

“God, you always look so hot” Harry Styles Smut.

Part one

This wasn’t requested, this was just another random creation inspired by the idea of Harry getting turned on by watching you get ready.

Includes: A tiny bit of fluff(?), a tiny bit of frustrated horny Harry, and smut ;)

I don’t know how many parts this will be and I think this part is bad but this will probably be two parts.

Masterlist

please enjoy!

LeFou 10/10

I originally thought that Disney would ruin LeFou. I expected him to be painted as an idiotic gay antagonist, only serving to make the LGBT community look worse.
Thank God, I was proven wrong.
//Spoilers Ahead//
LeFou ended up being a wonderful character and a great part of the movie. He was relateable and three-dimensional. He was misled and manipulated at first, but he was depicted as reasonable rather than foolish, only serving to make Gaston look worse. He was never particularly demonized at all, but rather elicited sympathy from the audience as they recognized the conflicting feelings of unrequited love that he felt. His humor did not go to make him look like a fool, but was witty and loveable and went to make the audience like him more. He honestly wanted to do the right thing and repeatedly tried to convince Gaston to do the right thing, but in the end he realizes that Gaston doesn’t care about him and that he was just too blinded by his love to see this before. He realizes he was a fool, but only for allowing himself to be manipulated. It is then emphasized that he dances off with another man, his sexuality not erased by his awakening. His story can easily be viewed as the sub-plot of the movie. He was redeemed and I love him.

I really can't buy that Yuuri had NO idea how he acted at the banquet! Sure it makes sense that he got too wasted to remember, but how could he not find out later from social media or the internet?! His phone would have been full of messages the morning after! Dudes suddenly stripping on a pole (am I also the only one wondering how the pole got there, too?) would definitely have ended up in several gossip blogs. Especially if skating megastar Victor Nikiforov got involved in the fun! Idk

At the beginning of YOI, we see Yuuri looking up news articles about his performance, even with Celestino actively encouraging him not to.

Not long after this, Yuuri goes off to the restroom and breaks down into tears.

As a sensitive person myself, I can say I’ve experienced painful moments like this in my own life. You eventually hit a point where your brain rejects any additional input because it’s protecting itself. If you see something else that makes the pain hurt even worse, it’s very normal to have a “NOPE” reaction and do everything in your power to avoid that additional pain.

We see Yuuri having another “NOPE” moment after his viral video gets posted.

He doesn’t read the comments on the video or look himself up on social media. Yuuri literally drops his phone and shuts himself off mentally from the world.

He’s not emotionally equipped to handle anything else. His brain rejected that information in order to protect him.

I do think it’s possible Yuuri never found out through others what happened at the banquet, though it would require work on his part to avoid it.

Maybe people did try to point out posts about it, and he just chose not to look. Maybe he shut his phone off and stopped logging into social media for a while until the news quieted down. Maybe Phichit or Celestino tried to mention it once, and because Yuuri got so upset and sensitive about the topic, they never brought it up again.

That “NOPE” feeling is awful when you get there. It’s an overwhelming sense of “I cannot handle anymore” and you just shut yourself off.

So yes - I do think it’s possible.

I want to talk about a situation involving a Taiwanese fanartist who draws fan art of Undertale. Her art is absolutely gorgeous, but unfortunately, someone attempted to kill her by offering her a cookie with NEEDLES inside of it.

It is believed this was an attempt to KILL her, not hurt her feelings, but actual MURDER. Of course, the Undertale fan who offered said cookie didn’t seem to understand the whole fucking point of the game.

LIFE MATTERS AND IT ISN’T OUR PLACE TO TAKE WHAT ISN’T OURS.

That aside, there are actually people DEFENDING this sick and twisted thinking.

…except she doesn’t draw pedophiliac art. She doesn’t even draw Frisk and Sans NSFW! But of course, our brave little social justice knights here have come to stop the evil of ships they don’t like!!

*groans*

In all seriousness, this is why I absolutely hate Tumblr and the Undertale fandom. It’s bullshit like this that is made as an excuse to murder an artist. The same shit happened to a fan artist in the Steven Universe fandom, but dare I say it’s got worse on Undertale’s end. It’s disgusting to see people like this actually exist. I don’t really agree with any ships that aren’t otherwise canon (ie Xayah x Rakan, Alphys x Undyne, etc) but do I go out of my busy life to harass a person who likes something I care very little for? NO!

And before any little triggered micro-aggressed polykin “minor” pops up here who demands that I apologize for their made-up sob story of Uncle Peewee touching their weewee and that the artist “deserved it”, I want to make it clear for 10 years of my life, I was sexually abused constantly by my uncle and my stepfather. I had no power because I was seen as a little girl (although I’m a nb now) and my mother wasn’t sure who to believe. Finally when my uncle got tried for rape, the system said they had no sufficient evidence, even though he had many of my little girl panties hidden under his bed that was dismissed as evidence. Her drawing this art has no emotional response out of me. I see nothing inherently wrong with an individual drawing art of FICTIONAL CHARACTERS. If a person drawing hurts you bad you feel the need to kill, you should seek counseling or find the closest nuthouse on the block before you become a threat to decent people.

that bitch face taemin makes at minho when minho can't remember his birthday. i think about it a lot.

concept: since that broadcast taem’s been popping up with a bday cake for minho on every 9th of the month except for december. the spelling of minho’s name on the cake gets worse each time - it starts with ‘choi mango’ and somehow ends in ‘alola exeggutor’ because taem’s salty like that

anonymous asked:

Who is your favorite character in attack on titan? why? did you like them from when you first started watching the show? or did they come in later? Who is your least favorite (out of the main cast)? Why? you've probably answered this already. sorry.

I have answered this in various ways, but I don’t mind doing it again. My favorite character, without hesitation, is this guy:

Erwin Smith wasn’t always my favorite. For the first 50 chapters that honor went to Hange Zoe. But in Utgard, when Erwin escaped the jaws of a titan and continued on to rescue Eren, I started paying attention.

It wasn’t his total badassery that got me–it was his humility afterwards. Erwin didn’t think his act was extraordinary. What was one arm when others had given so much?

I think his humility is further reflected in the people he surrounded himself with. A thug from the underground, an unhinged mad scientist, and freak with a nose is how outsiders would view Levi, Hange and Mike. And yet Erwin made those people his most trusted comrades. He elevated them to positions of power regardless of how outsiders would view it. He simply didn’t judge people. When a fifteen year old boy with bright ideas ended up in his military, he sat the kid down at the planning table and listened to his ideas. He made others listen to him as well

I’m going to mention one more thing I love about Erwin. There are a lot of people in this story with tragic pasts. Erwin Smith is no exception. As a boy, his father was killed for getting close to the truth. Worse, Erwin’s own actions served as the catalyst. What’s remarkable about Erwin, what makes him different from say Grisha, Zeke and Eren, is that didn’t become blind with rage. He wasn’t filled with a need for vengeance. He never became bitter or resentful.

Erwin Smith never lost his faith in humanity. He never stopped believing in those around him. The only person Erwin ever lost faith in was himself.

My least favorite character of the main cast is probably Eren Jaeger. I don’t dislike Eren. I just like everyone else better. Ducks and runs.

Tempest Team visiting coma induced Ryder twin

Lexi notices Pathfinder Ryder is always quieter after visiting their twin in Cryo. During regular check ups with the crew, she mentions to each individual that talking to coma patients can be beneficial

–Liam comes by every so often, tells stories about the different encounters the Tempest team has had. Tends to act out battles and accidentally knocks over medical equipment.
–Vetra doesn’t visit. She gets freaked out about what she’d do if Sid was the one in the coma. She asks Pathfinder Ryder what’s your twin’s favorite food and has a contact on standby to break out a case of whatever it is when they wake up.
–Suvi brings a small potted plant to rest at the top of the bed. Always says a prayer before leaving.
–Gil comes by and talks to your twin about poker strategies to use against everyone on the Tempest. Doesn’t think your twin will remember these tactics but if they do, at least someone on the team will present him with a challenge at cards.
–PeeBee comes by and doesn’t even know why. This feels like getting too close to Pathfinder Ryder. Too comfortable. Still, she’s seen the look on Pathfinder Ryder’s face after visiting Cryo so she goes. She doesn’t know what to say so she ends up stewing at the foot of the bed, pacing, then sighing exasperatedly and leaving.
–Kallo doesn’t know what’s worse. Missing your team because they’re dead and gone or missing a member because they can’t wake up. When he visits he mostly makes small talk then ends up talking about how the Tempest was built.
–Cora figures that your twin needs to keep their mind sharp, so she reads passages from her favorite asari commando tactics books to them. When those run dry, she starts reading botanical garden books. She bookmarks her favorites and also bookmarks some that she guesses your twin might like too.
–Jaal likes to make cards and bring them to your twin when he visits, because that’s what humans do. A new card each visit. They aren’t drawn very well, but he is rather proud of himself. One day, he realizes it’s pretty chilly in the cryo bay, so he makes a rofjinn for your twin. The doctor says it’s a very nice poncho.
–Drack, much to the doctors’ dismay, brings large kett and remnant weaponry into the cryo bay to talk your twin through how to dismantle and reassemble the gear. Your twin needs to be ready to kick some Andromedan ass when they wake up.
–Bonus: Reyes never actually appears at the cryo bay but every so often there’s a new trinket that appears at your twin’s bed. Sometimes a vintage ale. Sometimes a picture of him with a note that says “get well soon” on it.

Imagine:

You’re a famous archaeologist who’s sent on an expedition led by Captain James Conrad. The two of you hate each other as soon as you meet. To make things worse, you end up stranded on an island and have to stick together to survive. After endless fights, things start to change, and when James saves you from an animal, the two of you start to fall in love.

Hihihi. Are requests open? If not then just ignore this. If yes, then I have a request. What if MC leaves the RFA because Rika was back and everyone was focusing on her more. Mc decides that she's not needed or wanted anymore so she just disappears with the help of Saeran (since he still hates Rika for the whole brainwashing thing). It can be a mini-fic or a scenario or whatever. 😊😊 Love love love your work btw 😍 best author ever

Anon said:  Your headcanons are really awesome! I always love reading them. This is a bit sad but I have this HC that there were probably a lot of people who supported Rika being the first and original party coordinator of the foundation, so when MC took her place they think she’s not good enough and compares her to Rika, send her emails wanting her to leave. These start to get to MC so how does the RFA help her?

This one was interesting to do! Spoilers for the secret ends ahead. Also, in everyone’s except Seven’s, MC didn’t end up with anyone after the first 11 days.

General Scenario:

  • After the first party, you thought everything would go great
  • But everything seemed to go downhill
  • The lists get longer, and there’s more guests who knew Rika more than you
  • You’ve even gotten a few emails from guests requesting your resignation, because they believed only Rika was good enough for a job like this
  • After awhile, it started wearing down on you
  • To make things worse, a few parties later and Rika returns fully recovered
  • She works with you instead of replacing you
  • You find it really nice, but it only emphasizes your insecurities
  • Even most of the RFA seem to be falling back into giving her all of the glory
  • You just can’t take it anymore and you have a breakdown after one of the meetings
  • Saeran finds you and you accidentally end up spilling everything
  • You voiced that you just wanted to disappear
  • After a few minutes of silence, he agrees to help you
  • With his skills, you manage to run away without anyone knowing

Zen:

  • He’s really worried when you don’t log into the messenger after a whole day
  • He noticed you’d been down lately, but you always claimed to be fine
  • He drops by the apartment to check on you, and he finds it completely empty with your phone and computer buzzing with missed notifications
  • He tries to call you or find you in your usual spots, but to no avail
  • He informs the RFA and implores Seven to find you
  • He visits the hacker’s house to help where he can
  • Somehow, he had a gut feeling when he saw Saeran looking a bit guilty
  • Forcefully gets the information out of the younger twin
  • When he gets the address to your location, he goes to you right away
  • As soon as you open the door, he’s begging for forgiveness if he made you feel insecure like that
  • He’s voicing his worries and begging you to come back and somehow his confession slips up
  • This really moves you, but you’re still not ready to come back
  • For a long while, you only allow Zen to see you and he respects your wishes and keeps your whereabouts a secret
  • After several really long talks, he coaxes you back into the group
  • He’s so much more protective when it comes to guests’ comments though

Yoosung:

  • He had been very caught up with Rika back, so he kind of got absorbed in helping her whenever he could
  • He thinks you’ve been in the chatroom, but realizes you’re not when he compliments you on something and you don’t respond
  • He checks old chats and finds out it’s been quite awhile since you’ve joined one
  • It makes him feel worse when it seemed that the rest of the RFA had noticed a while ago
  • He feels horrible and guilty
  • He goes to Seven’s house to ask where you are, but Seven doesn’t even know
  • Saeran makes some vague comment with a bitter undertone, and it tips Yoosung off
  • They get into an argument while Yoosung is demanding to know where you are
  • Finally, he tells Yoosung how you felt
  • Yoosung is in shock and he gets super depressed for awhile
  • He knows you won’t answer, but he starts texting you every day saying how much you’re missed and loved
  • He does this for a month so it becomes habit
  • You actually are reading them though, and finally you decide to reply
  • He’s in such shock and apologizing so much through text
  • You refuse to take his calls or talk to him in person for a long time, so text is mainly how you communicate
  • Still, this starts to rebuild your relationship until you’re finally willing to meet him face to face again He takes the opportunity to show you how much he’s changed and to show how much he cares for you
  • It still takes time for you to fully trust him again, but he’s so steady and patient
  • He really does show you how wonderful and capable of a person you are

Jaehee:

  • She wasn’t close with Rika, but her coming back meant bigger parties
  • Jaehee got dragged into doing more work in the process
  • So, she really hadn’t been talking to you much
  • She noticed your absence when she texted for your opinion on something and you didn’t reply after nearly two days
  • She tried calling and emailing…but just came to the conclusion you were busy or ill or something
  • But the rest of the RFA notice the same and finally announce you ran away
  • Jaehee is really worried because she knows you wouldn’t run unless you had a good reason
  • She doesn’t tell the others and pours herself into researching your whereabouts
  • While Saeran was careful in hiding you, Jaehee knew your patterns and soon found a local cafe you frequented
  • She asks if you could talk, and you don’t have the heart to refuse
  • You tell her everything that happened, and she’s mad and crying because you didn’t tell her and you’re crying because she’s crying
  • You have this whole touching moment in the corner of this cafe
  • She doesn’t tell the others, and she won’t
  • She knows where you’re coming from and doesn’t force you to return if you don’t want to
  • She’is kind of angry with those guests who made you feel that way
  • She helps you rebuild a life in the town you choose
  • As long as she keeps in touch with you, she respects your wishes and keeps you away from the RFA

Jumin:

  • With Rika’s return, old wounds and scars from V started popping up within Jumin
  • He started distancing himself from the RFA, logging in less and working more
  • Finally, he just needs a full break and goes on month long business trip
  • While there, he sorts things out and figures it’s not fair to you because you worked just as hard and seem to care about him
  • So he comes back only to find you had run away awhile ago and no one can find you
  • His worry pushes him into action
  • He’s hiring people left and right to find you
  • Knowing he has the resources to actually find you, Saeran steps in and stops Jumin, explaining that you don’t want to be found
  • He has to eventually come clean about helping you run
  • Jumin was already a bit bitter when it came to Saeran because of V, but he was tempted to feel even more so now
  • But then Saeran disclosed your location
  • The younger twin had been watching you though, and he knows you haven’t been doing well
  • Jumin thinks he’s fine, until he finally faces you
  • His vision blurs with tears and he can’t help but hold you tight in his arms, pleading for you to never leave him again
  • You’ve missed him as well, so you’re willing to sit down with him and just talk
  • While he listens to your concerns, he reasons with you to go back
  • After all, he went through the same recently and he doesn’t want you cutting ties like that
  • He’s patient as you slowly make your way back into the group and heal

Seven:

  • He feels very uncomfortable with Rika there, especially after all that happened
  • He’s still talking with the RFA, but rarely, and he avoids Rika altogether
  • He’d also noticed you hadn’t been yourself
  • But because you thought he was having a hard time you acted like everything was fine
  • Before running off, you had made Saeran promise not to tell Seven anything, thinking he would be better off without someone incompetent like you
  • Seven noticed your absence almost immediately, since you practically dropped off the face of the earth
  • He starts thinking his old agency is out for revenge
  • Now he’s terrified for you life and works day and night trying to find any trace of you
  • Saeran watches as his brother loses sleep and peace of mind and he just can’t stand it anymore
  • He casually leaves a big clue open on his laptop
  • Of course, Seven finds it and looks for you immediately
  • When he finds you, there’s a mix of yelling and crying from him
  • He makes you tell him everything…from your feelings to your plan to the guest emails
  • He wanted to know every detail and try to help you recover
  • He understands you don’t want to go back with Rika there…and he doesn’t feel comfortable with it either
