Castiel just barely slips out the door into the hallway and turns the knob as he closes it so the latch doesn’t make a sound. The light is always on in the hallway, and Dean always wakes up if too much of it pours into his room, so Castiel has mastered the art of slipping through the smallest space possible.
He breathes a sigh of relief once he’s in the hallway.
A small voice to his right lets out an amused laugh. He turns to see a particularly tiny woman wearing a very large plaid shirt and nothing else. Well, he supposes she could be wearing shorts under the shirt. It really is very big on her.
“You must be Castiel,” she says rather loudly, mispronouncing his name just slightly.
He walks over to her with a finger to his lips.
She puts her hand over her mouth in embarrassment before signing, I’m deaf.
Castiel mouths an “oh” before dropping his head and laughing. He then pops his head back up fast and mouths, “Are you Eileen?”
She nods eagerly and signs, You’ve heard about me?
Sam has mentioned you a few times, he signs back. He says you’re a very good hunter.
Her face lights up. You’re damn right I am. Still, that’s very sweet of him.
So, are you two…? Castiel looks back toward Sam’s room and then down at Eileen’s shirt.
Eileen’s eyes widen in embarrassment. He’s asleep. I was just going to the bathroom.
I was heading to the kitchen for a cup of tea. Would you like some?
Is there caffeine in it?
Not at 4 in the morning.
Eileen smiles and gives him a thumbs up before moving past him toward the bathroom. Castiel watches her go for a second before it hits him.
He looks down at his plain black t-shirt and too-small boxer briefs and wonders if Eileen could tell that these clothes aren’t his. And that he came out of Dean’s room instead of one of the countless other extra bedrooms in the bunker.
By the time Eileen pads into the kitchen, Castiel has two mugs ready with decaf teabags in them and he’s standing at the stove staring at the pot so he can pull it off the burner before it whistles.
It’s only a minute longer before Cas pours the water into the mugs and takes a seat across from Eileen at the kitchen table.
You’re an angel, aren’t you? Eileen asks as her tea steeps.
Summary: Bucky Barnes is absolutely horrified when his four-year old daughter tells him she’s getting married. When he tries to figure out what the heck is going on, he gets the best surprise of his life.
Bucky Barnes had no idea what time it was, but he knew it was way too early for a pair of blue eyes to be staring him in the face.
“Becca, go back to bed,” he mumbled, pulling the covers over his head. He felt the bed dip as his daughter climbed up and cuddled against Bucky’s blanketed form. A small hand stroked the top of his head, and he couldn’t help but smile. He pulled the covers off and greeted his little girl.
Summary: Jughead’s been neglecting his girlfriend in favour of the case leaving no time to see each other. It slowly gets worse until things escalate into a fight when you came home late when he’s been waiting to apologize.
Characters: Reader x Jughead Jones, Betty Cooper, Archie Andrews, and Veronica Lodge (mentioned).
Disclaimer: I do not own Riverdale or the characters involved. In this, like every other Riverdale fic I do, Jughead is NOT asexual in this.
Warnings: Swearing, fighting, neglect, and smut.
A/N: Finals are finally over and I’m free to write again!
It was a tough week to say the least with your boyfriend Jughead completely skipping the study dates you set. He had asked you out not even a full month ago in a sweet but very Jughead way that you appreciated dearly. Your teacher had put you together for a project that you were steadily doing the project solo and it was a lot of work to do.
You couldn’t believe how you barely saw him anymore with his obsession over the murder of Jason Blossom and he was spending it with Betty Cooper. That made you a little uncomfortable given she was a basket case and obviously mentally unbalanced from the Chuck Clayton incident. Jughead and Betty had gotten together earlier in the year for a month tops before it become glaringly problematic on how different they were. It was insane how little you saw each other when he lived with you. You were emancipated from your parents a year and a half ago and now you could see how it wasn’t that smart to start a relationship with someone you live with. He just didn’t care about you like you cared for him.

Y/N: Late night angst strikes again! I thought about this song and story all day at work. I’m still working on my multiple series, but needed a little change of pace. I’ve also been missing Steve lately. I was reminded of Chris Evans’ advice about his noisy brain so I included that. This got a lot darker than I anticipated. I have no idea how it’ll be received, so let me know your thoughts. I adore you all!! <3
Wincing at the unusually loud noise, you exited the elevator and tiptoed barefoot down the hallway toward your room. Rounding the corner, you placed a hand to the side of your head, hoping the incessant pounding would subside soon. You snuck forward quietly, high heels dangled from your other hand with a clutch purse wedged under your arm. At least you remembered to grab your purse this time.
“Have a nice time last night?”
You cringed. Only ten feet away from your room, you heard the one voice you hoped not the hear coming from the one man you were avoiding. Straightening up from your sneaking position, you slowly turned toward the voice.
[Image description: two photos of a woman standing outdoors in front of a tall, leafy hedge, one a full-length shot and the other three-quarters. She is white and has dark brown hair, short on the sides and worn curly off to one side on top. She wears glasses with frames that are tortoiseshell on top and clear, pink-tinted plastic on bottom. She wears a wool, tartan blazer in mossy green, light blue, and teal, a buttoned waistcoat in navy blue plaid, a floral chambray shirt in light blue, green trousers, and knee-high boots.]
Please forgive me if I throw all the patterns on at once; sometimes I just can’t help myself!
