but the quality is pretty bad

The complaints about the color palette in superhero movies is one of the most annoying I’ve ever come across. The color scheme really doesn’t determine quality of the film. Suicide Squad had bright colors and they added more jokes in and the movie still was pretty bad. I mean do we want stories that explore these characters or do we want expensive episodes of Saturday night live?? Bright Colors and Comedy are welcomed but it’s very low on my concerns for a film. Story, character development and the lasting conversations the movie sparks are way more interesting. If I walk out of a movie and have nothing to really explore then it hasn’t done it’s job.

Obligatory: Blake?

Oh look a character who is humanoid

general opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | actual love of my life
hotness level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically hot but not my type | pretty hot | gorgeous! | 10/10 would bang
hogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuff
best quality: wants to be just so so good, wants the best for absolutely everyone and to make the world stop sucking and for everything to be okay
worst quality: so so so hard on herself, everybody messes up and has bad things in their past but she just can’t let it go and feels like the best way to make all those good things happen is for her to not be there I’m cry
ship them with: Yang! But also like 8762346 other people. Weiss, Ruby, Pyrrha, Emerald, Cinder, Ren (not quite ALL of my ships are gay) to varying degrees
brotp them with: Whoever of the above she isn’t dating ugh
needs to stay away from: Adam, I just want her to be okay and he’s a psychopath
misc. thoughts: She is my absolute favorite and thank you for give me a chance to gush about her a little bit <3

Your blush is so much more obvious without your glasses, Yuuri <3

(or, guess who got into Ice Gays)

“su would be sooo much better if rebecca sugar storyboarded more episodes”

rebecca sugar is responsible for most of the show’s most reviled mistakes. from sugilite’s concept and design, to the human zoo + it being portrayed as an utopia, pearls obsession w/ rose and abuse bc of it,  to bismuths concept and imprisonment, to the diamonds sympathetic portrayal…

that last part specifically, she said that she disliked how yellow diamond was written in “message received”, so she took it upon herself to storyboard her and blue diamond in “that will be all”. whats the big difference in those two episodes? the first got huge critical acclaim. yd was shown as the cold, focused, ruthless dictator she is, with a pearl (slave) who is afraid of her. the second showed her as poor hurt and emotionally repressed, as suffering through her role as a dictator leader, on the verge of crying. with a pearl (slave) who happily served her. and blue diamond, the homophobic dictator, as a sobbing heartbroken mess whos WOAH suddenly gay.

sugar’s work on adventure time, tho extremely popular, also had a lot of glaring mistakes. she was responsible for the twist in fionna and cake- it was a fanfic written by the ice king. ok, funny..but the joke is that the ice king is writing 13 year old fionna/genderbent finn romancing him. or in “i remember you”, jokes likw marceline getting hit on by her father figure the ice king, or the looooads of ableism in that episode that tbh, as someone w/ mental illness in my family, made it hard to watch.

and tho she gets credit for starting bubbline in the show, all the bubbline eps by other boarders wrote them as…getting along, being nice to each other. she wrote them as having a lot of hate and repressed feelings. which creates a pretty bad pattern when u look at the gay relationships she writes in su- the unhealthy mess thats pearls love for rose, aforementioned portrayal of blue diamond… yeaaaa

tl;dr: rebecca sugar has some qualities as a writer, but still creates a lot of awful implications in near everything we’ve seen her do for su and at. she is responsible for most of the shows mistakes

“…she didn’t… recognize me?”

So I’m not feeling all that good today; I ended up recycling something I’d sketched earlier and colored and shaded it, hence the sloppy quality. Sorry guys. :(

But anyway this is Greyling’s and Ladybug’s first meeting! Not much of a meeting, huh? Ladybug gets hurt pretty bad by Tux and though she eventually fends him off with the help of a Greyling-possessed volpina, Greyling can’t help but feel as though something is still very wrong and makes the snap judgement to go see for himself. His intuition ends up being right on the money because as Ladybug calls for the Miraculous Cure, she passes out and falls off of the top of the building she was on. Greyling ends up catching her before her head can hit the rooftop below and though her battle wound is healed, she remains unconscious for a couple of minutes, with Greyling freaking out and trying to wake her up.

Ladybug thinks that Greyling has managed to send a second champion when she awakens, not recognizing him. How could she? All she has to go off of to this point is what her classmates tell her and what people submit to the Ladyblog, and neither account is terribly solid since they never actually get a good look at him.

But Alya, oh bless her, sends Mari a text a few minutes later absolutely FREAKING out over the pictures she got of Greyling cradling Ladybug on a rooftop. They’re distant but very clear. (”LOOK MARI IT’S YOUR FUTURE HUSBAND” ”BETTER MAKE A MOVE BEFORE LB SNATCHES HIM UP YOU’VE GOT SOME STIFF COMPETITION”)

Mari has a very patent Oh Shit moment.

But anyway, Hannah Baker goes on to live a long life with Clay Jensen by her side. And also, Jeff Atkins is alive and well. He passed English class and is now just happily playing baseball and hanging out with his buddy, Clay. Since Jeff is alive, there was never an accident so Sherri doesn’t go to jail. She just has to pay a fine for running over the stop sign and then she’ll be okay because she’s a pretty nice girl. Our little Tony Padilla can finally spend quality time with his boyfriend, Brad. They actually end up living next door to Hannah and Clay in the future. Zach Dempsey stops hanging out with bad influences and becomes a basketball-playing marine biologist like he wanted. Alex Standall and Jessica Davis both apologize to Hannah and they reform FML and they never break their friendship ever again. Also, Bryce Walker lands his ass in jail where he deserves to be. That’s the real ending and you can’t convince me that’s not what happened.
