but she searches for them

all jokes aside though bts worked really hard to get to where they are today they weren’t just some ‘viral sensation’ that gained fame overnight they don’t owe their popularity purely to youtube (or any website for that matter) they worked their asses off day and night and gave up a lot to do so so the fact that that woman had the audacity to say anything of the sort is just plain rude and frankly very disrespectful

i need me some jealous kara in my life, so of course i did what any person would’ve done and came with a bunch of headcanons to satisfy my own needs because that’s what self care is all about.

  • it all starts one afternoon, they’re downtown in one of lena’s favorite restaurants and kara’s talking excitedly about the new article she’s writing when lena’s phone goes off. usually when they’re together lena ignores it, she always says it’s business associates and insists they can wait but this time lena sees the name on the screen and smiles widely, “oh it’ll be just a minute kara, sorry” kara nods, motions her to go ahead and tries to focus on her pasta until she hears lena giggling “i can’t wait to see you! it’s been, what? six years?” something inside kara twitches. who is she talking to? most importantly who is making her smile like that?! that’s usually her thing. lena keeps talking to whoever is at the other end of the line as if she’s not there, beaming, chuckling… kara’s always believed herself to be someone non violent (for most the time) but she’s now wishing she could grab lena’s phone, throw it to the ground and break it.
  • turns out, lena says to her when they’re on the car ride back to l–corp, that one of her dearest friends from boarding school is planning a visit to national city and called her to see if they could get together, “her name is molly, we were together on science club and we hit it off right away,” kara knows it’s irrational to feel so… heated at the thought of lena hanging out with someone else because damn, she’s her own person and she’s allowed to have as many friends as she’d like but… it makes her extremely uncomfortable to think about lena laughing with someone that is not her. “i have to admit i had a little bit of a crush on her when we were younger,” and kara doesn’t know molly, has never seen her and certainly has no interest in doing it so but she already hates her.
  • “and then she said,” it’s game night, james and winn have paused mortal kombat to listen to her angry rant and alex is staring at her with wide eyes, beer in hand. “oh i used to have a crush on her, as if it’s the most trivial thing on the universe, did you know she was supposed to come tonight? i promised i would let her win at mario kart, but no! molly’s plane lands today and she called to say—i’m so sorry kara, i can’t make it, i’m gonna go pick her up, maybe some other time? can’t molly call herself an uber? does she really need to have lena’s attention all to herself? gosh it makes me so upset someone would be so selfish.” winn opens and closes his mouth a few times, not sure if he should say anything about the whole situation, james and alex are looking at each other, silently deciding on who should be the first to talk until finally alex breaks the silence. “kara… you don’t even know this molly person, didn’t you also say her and lena hand’t seen each other for years? it’s normal that they want to spend time with each other, catch up with what’s been going on in their lives.” kara crosses her arms over her chest and angrily stares out the window, she wants to bury her face on ice cream because though she knows alex is right she still wants to deck molly in the face.
  • lena is never late, if anything she’s always early to arrive to their lunch dates, but for the first time in months, lena luthor is fifteen minutes late and kara’s getting impatient, maybe she got caught up on work and didn’t see the hour, maybe she had to sign some contracts before leaving, maybe… maybe… she tries and call her twice but she doesn’t answer and that’s when kara gets worried, what if something happened to her? what if while she was on her way someone stopped her and hurt her? she’s tempted to alert the deo, tell them to search for lena’s location when she enters the restaurant a little breathless and with her hair disheveled. “kara i am sorry!” she sits down across from her and takes out her coat, “molly came over to my office and we started to talk, i didn’t mean to keep you waiting.” kara’s face goes dark. it’s wednesday, this is supposed to be their day, their afternoon, their time to be with one another without people interrupting and of course molly had to come and ruin it. “did you know molly has a motorbike? she dropped me off!” oh amazing, molly owes a motorbike, so does half the population of national city, she’s nothing especial. kara doesn’t feel like eating anymore and ends up leaving early.
  • she’s punching one of the walls at the deo repeatedly, each punch harsher than the last. her knuckles feel on fire but it’s working wonders to get her mind off lena and her new best friend molly whom today decided to invite her to the beach. “what is wrong with her?” winn whispers to alex almost scared of kara’s sudden display of anger, alex shrugs and tell him she has no idea since kara refuses to talk with anyone about it. “she’s jealous,” j’onn says without looking up from the file he’s holding and both of them open their mouths in surprise. “psychic, remember?”
  • “have i done something to upset you?” lena asks with her cheeks red in embarrassement and her voice breaking, “you’ve been avoiding me for weeks, yesterday you cancelled our lunch date because you said you had a lot of stuff to do but then you uploaded a picture on instagram with james in your pajamas eating popcorn. look kara, i know we all need our space sometimes but i’d rather hear the truth than finding out via social media that you’re lying to me.” she sounds so hurt and she’s almost on the verge of tears, kara feels awful she didn’t mean to make her feel bad, she was just tired of hearing her talk about molly and how amazing she was every single time they got together. “you want the truth?” lena nods eagerly and kara tries, she does, to keep her composure when she catches the necklace lena’s wearing… gold with rose pendant. “that is pretty,” she points to it and lena grabs it between her hands, “thank you! molly gave it to me yesterday.” kara feels her fist tighten.
  • “well the truth is that molly is annoying,” she says standing up from her place and lena’s eyes widen. “yes, she’s annoying and she’s keeping you all to herself. it’s almost as she’s holding you captive! she’s taking you to the beach and to that art gallery i was going to take you, you are eating potstickers with her, lena, that’s our thing!” there’s no going back now… “and she’s… she’ probably ugly too—oh she has a motorcycle, how original! you know what lena, i can fly! i could fly you from here to paris in less than an hour, i bet molly can’t do that. you know what else i can do? lift you up, with one finger probably, can molly lift you up? no i don’t think she can. does she let you win at mario kart?! she doesn’t, huh, does she even know how to play mario kart, does she?!”
  • lena looks at her in disbelief before she bursts out laughing and kara lets out a groan, “it’s not funny lena! i am much more interesting that molly will ever be and i’m—mphm!” lena’s kissing her, her cold hands are tangling themselves in her hair and she’s pulling her impossibly close and kara feels like she’s floating. for the first three seconds she doesn’t respond, but as soon as lena slips a warm tongue into her mouth her body reacts and she’s grabbing her everywhere. her face, her neck, her waist, her ass, lena gasps and they break apart. “sorry, i didn’t mean to… i just wanted to… you see this wasn’t what i had planned,” kara looks to the ground but it’s not for long because lena is grabbing her chin, making her look into her eyes and she melts.
  • “love… i can’t believe you were jealous of molly.” kara clicks her tongue almost offended, she was not jealous of molly, she’s about to say it, to assure lena she doesn’t feel such childish emotion when lena gives her a small peck on the lips and her train of thought is stopped. “she’s married… and has two kids!” kara wants to hide under lena’s desk for the rest of the evening.

No, Jane. Listen to me. You must not give up. You must finish what you’ve started. Why? Because you’re right.

Homecoming - A Jonerys Oneshot

Hey guys, here is a new little Fic of mine. Set after 7x06. I already wrote one where they’re having sex for the first time. You can find it here. But after the last ep I was inspired again. So here’s another one. Hope you enjoy :-)

Genre: Drama / Romance . Rated: E. Chapter: 1/1. Also on: fanfiction.net

The night was starting to ascend over Dragonstone and Daenerys stood at the window in the Chamber of the Painted Table and watched her dragons. They had anchored yesterday after a long week on sea of which Jon had slept most of the time. But to her relief he had looked better with every day. He was recovering in his old room right now Daenerys was hopeful that he would be completely healed in no time. She was alone in the chamber, Tyrion was back in Kings Landing planning their upcoming meeting with Cersei, making her fretful mind her only companion.

Within a few weeks her whole world had been turned upside down. It happened to her before, but this time was different, even more momentous. She had lost one of her children and it’s loss left a non -fillable void inside her heart. But she meant what she had said to Jon. As much as it hurt, she had now been able to see the white walkers for herself and knew why Jon had been so persistent about the threat they represented.

Jon Snow was the reason her world became so unlike the one she knew. Not just because he was the messenger who told her about the dangerous creatures that walked towards the kingdom she longed to rule over, but also because he, himself, changed it. Simply by entering it.

They’d just been acquaintances for a short time but she already couldn’t fathom how her life would look if he wasn’t in it anymore. She got a glimpse of that, when she had thought his life had been claimed by the icy waters that swallowed him. And she didn’t like the feeling at all. It has hit her then with full force, how much she really cared about him. Much more than what would be appropriate for an acquaintance or an ally. All this week’s in Westeros she had been so engrossed with her fight against Cersei and her demand towards him to bend the knee, that she hadn’t noticed that she and Jon had already got past that. They formed a bond way stronger than any bent knee would be.

It scared her how much her heart wanted him. She hadn’t felt anything like it in forever and even then it were the feelings of a young girl not that of a grown woman. In the years since Khal Drogo she had made so many life-experiences they had shaped her, hardened her in a way, so that she hadn’t known if she was still capable to love someone romantically.

But now she knew.

“What’s this?” Kent asked as he bent down the retrieve the mouse toy Kit had dropped his feet.

Kit stood proudly in front of her prize, waiting for his reaction.

“Thanks, Princess,” he said, giving her a quick rub on her head before he dropped his heavy bag by the door and headed to his bathroom. She could hear the shower turn on and the beginning, telltale sniffs of crying.

Kit pawed uselessly at his door in frustration. The toy was supposed to cheer Kent up, a sign of Kit’s willingness to share her worldly goods with him. Jinx had assured that it would work.

She laid down in front of the bathroom door, waiting for Kent to be finished. Absentmindedly, she groomed a paw while she cycled through a list of other things try next.

The fact was this: Kent was sad again.

Kit had started noticing it about three weeks ago, ever since Kent had come home after one of his away games. She hadn’t seen him so depressed in a long time. Lines of fatigue appeared on his face from sleepless nights and she could hear him sniffling quietly when he was alone.

She’d shared her concerns with the cat from upstairs, a persnickety tuxedo who lived on the floor above, when they met for their weekly session on the fire escape.

“Did he talk to his ex-boyfriend? That always makes my human cry,” Jinx asked.

“I don’t think so…” Kit hesitated. “No one has come over in a long time,” she had added.

“Yeah, but has he been spending more time on the computer? My human Facebook stalks her ex all the time.”

“What’s Facebook?”

“Never mind.” Jinx waved a paw dismissively. “Has he been on his phone or computer more than usual lately?”

“Well,” Kit said slowly.  “He’s been watching videos and it’s always the same human in them. He’s usually cooking something in them.” She paused to search her mind for the correct word. “Pies.”

“Maybe, he’s hungry,” Jinx offered with a shrug. “Or, he’s bored. Bring him a toy.”

Jinx hadn’t been much help, but then again, he wasn’t as smart as he liked to believe. Kit didn’t know what she’d expected, but nonetheless, she tried to bring Kent various things in hopes that something would make him feel better. Each time, the reaction was always the same: a pat on the head and a smile that never reached his eyes.

The sound of the water shutting off interrupted Kit’s thoughts as she perked up in anticipation. She followed Kent from the bathroom to where he flopped on the couch and started to flip through the channels. She jumped up, half-landing on Kent who winced.

Kit settled into the spot by his chest and it wasn’t long before Kent started scratching behind her ears. She was warm and content for a while, half-falling asleep with the low sound of the television in the background.

Before she drifted off, she heard Kent quietly whisper, “Thanks, Princess.”

A/N: Part III of CEO Harry! I sincerely hope this was worth the wait and that you guys enjoy it. Thank you for your lovely comments and support. As always, this includes smut, daddy kink and a shitload of angst. I hope you like it. ♥

Harry and Y/N are enemies in the business world but the perfect partners under the sheets.

Based on the song Wrong by Zayn ft. Kehlani

Part I. Part II. Part III. Part IV.

The sense of overachievement deeply ingrained in Y/N’s mindset is an innate weapon that can be both a blessing and a curse: when success is the rule rather than the exception, each failure, no matter how minor, feels like the end of the world.

Oliver Zhang represented all four horsemen during Y/N’s friday night apocalypse. She was certain she hadn’t experienced humiliation to its greatest extent until he stood her up at a VIP rooftop bar that overlooked the whole city and highlighted the blossoming nightlife she was letting go to waste -along with three hours of her precious time and a new outfit.

Unable to convert stress into drive whenever the gap between her expectations and the reality of her circumstances starts to diverge, she reverted back to a well-practised posture: that of spoiled brat utterly resolute in her decision to fuck shit up and get away with it.

The taste of defeat and the remnants of shame hovering on the tip of her tongue assumed control of her body and, naturally, what ensued was nothing short of wrongdoings she would gladly exclude from her future autobiography.  A videotape in fast forward, memories that her mind would disguise as dreams -and therefore wouldn’t regret- until the following morning.

What her brain did register was that at some point, her low cut silk burgundy dress came off.

And somewhere along the way, she ended up in Harry Styles’ bed.

Her resolve might parallel that of an all-powerful creature but she’s only limited to her human strength, and no human in recorded history has been proved strong enough to fight off the inevitable.

She missed the old Bucky. The Bucky that would come home every day and shower her with love and affection, but then he disappeared. The good morning kisses halted and tight goodbye hugs became loose. She tried talking to him about it, but he just brushed it off and went to bed.

The Closet

A/N: This was in my drafts and like I promised, here it is.

Warnings: None, fluff, slight angst i guess.

You snorted at the conversation you were having with your friends. “No way!” Veronica exclaimed. “I’m being totally serious.” Jughead stated with a wry grin. The current topic was about Jughead’s dog, and how “untrainable” he was. “There is no way he chewed through that bed. I helped you pick it out!” You exclaimed.

Jughead placed a hand on his heart. “Scouts honor.” “Oh shut up Jug, you were never a Boy Scout.” “You never knew because I burned all the evidence.” He snapped at Archie. Betty just laughed.

“Oh come on. It said extra durable, chew proof, and was verified for heavy chewers like your dog. What the hell.” You said. “I honestly don’t know how he did it. I left the room for like 5 minutes to make a sandwich and when I came back it was in shreds on the floor.” Jughead sighed. “Back to using old towels for him I guess.“

The four of you finally made it to Pop’s where you all sat in your favorite booth. After ordering, you all continued to make small talk about upcoming exams and such as other people form school came into the regular hangout spot. You all heard a loud gloating voice and groaned.

There he was, Reggie Mantle, in all of his annoying glory. He made eye contact with you and smirked as he stalked over to your table. "Hey guys.” he said maliciously. “Hey Reg.” Archie greeted, he being the only one who was semi-friends with them. Reggie made eye contact with you again before speaking. “Soooo, there’s a party going on later, at my place. And I just wanted to take the precious time out of my day to invite you all.” Everyone’s eyebrows shot up with suspicion. “And why would we ever want to go?” Jughead asked bluntly.

“Hey it’s just an invitation. Do what you want with it.” He said with his hands up in surrender. “Well, how about you take your invitation and shove it up your-.” “We’ll go!” Betty interrupted with a fake smile. You all looked at her in shock. “Yeah, we’ll all go. Just text Archie the address.” She said as Reggie grinned and walked off. Two glares were sent towards Betty. Specifically, you and Jughead.

“Oh come on Betty, you know parties aren’t my scene.” You complained. “Yeah, I mean this is by far the worst idea you’ve ever had.” Jughead agreed with you. “Guys, we never get out! Come on, we’re sophomores. And how do we spend our Friday Nights, staying home and watching Netflix?” “

Hey! I’m totally ok with that.” You said. “Yeah, me too.” Jughead added. “Well I agree with Betty.” Veronica said. She stood up from the booth and gestured for you and Betty to do the same. “Come on girls. We’ll get ready together and then meet the boys at Reggie’s.” Your shoulders slumped.

“But-.” “No buts y/n. Now come on, I’m not taking no for an answer.” She was about to walk off when she suddenly stopped and turned towards the boys. “If you both are not there, I will personally find you and drag you there myself.” She threatened, pointedly at Jughead.

The next thing you knew, you were being dragged out of Pop’s as you heard a loud groan from Jughead. Veronica took you and Betty to her house, which was rather large. Once you made it to her room you gasped. It was about as big as your house. Betty was doing the same thing.

“Oh this? This is nothing compared to our old house in New York, now come on, let’s find you two some dresses.” She threw open the doors to her closet and immediately started digging. She threw a couple dresses at Betty insisting she gontrt them on as she searched for something for you. She was satisfied once she pulled out a light blue dress, a red dress, and black dress.

She handed them to you and pointed towards the bathroom for you to get them on. You looked at yourself in the mirror and groaned, not believing you were actually going through with this. With another heavy sigh, you quickly undressed and pulled on the blue dress.

You stepped out of the bathroom for the other girl’s opinion. “I don’t know… I don’t think blue is your color.” Betty said as she looked. “Yeah… try the red one on!” Veronica ordered as you nodded in defeat and went back into the dreaded bathroom. You zipped up the red dress and walked out again, this time striking a pose. Both Betty and Veronica scrunched there noses.

“Yeah, I don’t think that’s the right one either.” “Oh come on,” you struck an even more awkward pose. “You don’t think this one’s it?” They laughed and pushed you back into the bathroom with only one more option. You put on the black dress and looked at yourself. You actually liked this one. You stepped out of the bathroom shyly and awaited the opinions.

"Oh my god, I love it.“ Veronica said as she rushed over and examined everything. "Ooooh yes, that one’s it. It fits you perfectly y/n!” Betty commented making you smile. It fit very nicely, hugged your figure, and made your boobs look pretty great. For the next two hours, you all fussed over shoes, makeup, and hair.

Once you were all satisfied with your looks, you all carpooled to the address Archie had sent over. You met up with your other two friends outside, where Jughead stood there silently hating the world as you all walked in. There was a bunch of people from school standing around in their own groups of friends.

When you five walked in, Reggie looked up to see who entered and grinned when he saw you. He left his little group to come and greet all of you. “Archie what’s up man?” He asked as they did the bro hug thing.

He turned to you. “Y/n… you’re looking very fine this evening.” You felt uncomfortable under his stare. Veronica noticed and grabbed your’s and Betty’s arms. “Come on ladies, lets party.” She said and dragged you away. You three started to walk around, mingled with other people drank punch, had fun.

About an hour into the party, someone suggested a game of seven minutes in heaven. Of course Veronica forced both you and Betty to play. In total, about 20 or so kids were playing. You all sat in a circle as kids took turns spinning a bottle and then disappearing into a closet for the next seven minutes.

When it was your turn to spin you sighed heavily, not knowing what to expect. The bottle went in circles, taunting you as it chose who you would be in the closet with. When it finally stopped you were filled with dread as you saw him grin.

"I-I don’t want to.“ You muttered to Veronica who didn’t care and shoved you towards Reggie and the closet. He took your hand gently and led you inside the dark space. The door was closed behind you and someone shouted from the other side, "seven minutes starting!"

You sighed quietly as you stood not even a foot away from the tall jock. "Why don’t you like me?” He asked sincerely as you looked up to meet his dark eyes in the tinted darkness. “Because you’re an ass to people.” You answered simply.

"I’m not an ass to you.“ He said. You snorted. "Is that supposed to mean something. You can tell a lot about someones character by the way they treat others.” You stated as his eyes met yours again. “What if I start being nice to other people, you know, stop being an ass."

You weren’t expecting that. "For what? What’s this all about Reggie?” You asked. It was very quiet for a minute or two before he spoke again. “I really like you.” He whispered. You gulped. “You would change the way you act… for me?” He nodded.

You smiled softly as you looked down. “How do I know you’re telling the truth?” You asked as you subconsciously stepped a bit closer to him. He leaned down and is lips were only inches from yours. “I’d do anything, to make you mine.” He breathed before connecting your lips.

You made no move to pull away as you liplocked. You enjoyed his kiss as he moved his lips against yours expertly. You weren’t expecting that either. The door opened quickly giving you no time to jumps way from each other, but you did, clumsily.

The other students laughed as they watched you both walk out of the closet. You saw Reggie about to open is mouth so you grabbed his hand, holding it in yours. He looked down at you shocked, but kept quiet as you both walked out of the closet, together.

ISAAC LAHEY X READER

STAY

Request: Can you do an Isaac imagine where you always leave your window open so he can sleep with you and one night you to get into a really bad fight and you close the window and he knows he messed up bad? Thanks

gif cred - fyeahdanielsharman

A/N: I tried to give this one a more happy ending than the last Isaac imagine. Okay, a lot more happy. ;)

x

Where he usually lay, creating a warm bubble of warmth as he tangled himself beneath the white sheets, was a cold and empty patch of mattress. If she buried her face in his feathery pillow where his scent lingered, she would breathe in his cologne, and it would almost be like he was there.

It was around ten, not that she was paying attention, and by this time at night the town would go still, lights would flicker off, and Isaac Lahey would sneak into her window wearing a big and dopey grin, but this time he didn’t. They would sleep beside each other every night, but it was never anything more than that, him bundled around her, or vise versa, a source of comfort for the two who didn’t feel like they had anybody else.

She couldn’t sleep, so she sat up abruptly and rubbed at her eyes, walking over to her mirror and staring at the disheveled figure that blinked in the reflection. She was wearing a lacy white tank top and navy blue sleep shorts, her hair in a tangled pony, and usually bright eyes were instead sporting dark purple circles. She yawned and reached for a knit quilt which she took with her as she sat on the ledge beside her window, head tilted onto the cool glass, blanket over her knees. She breathed fog onto the window, and rubbed it away so she could stare blankly out into the starry night sky. Though she tried with all her might not to think about it, to think about him, she couldn’t help it.

“I’ll see you later?” she smiled, nudging Isaac.

His smile wavered and melted away, “actually, no.”

“Oh,” she said with surprise, “how come?”

Isaac stared at her, his next words low and soft, “because I don’t want to, and because it’s never going to happen again.”

And thus a fight had broken out between the two, one that both didn’t last long, or make any sense to her. He’d snapped, one moment himself, the next moment not, and she wanted to know how she went wrong, or if she’d hurt him. Usually by this time she’d be sleeping, and Isaac would’ve pulled her right into his chest, his arms snugly around her as if she were the only thing keeping him alive, and she would drift off into him with a smile on her lips. The longing that churned in her stomach made her sink forward into her knees with a long sigh.

“Did I do something out of line?” she reasoned.

He was getting more angered now, his jaw pulsating, “no, it was my mistake to come at all.”

“But…I thought-”

“Thought what? Get over it, okay? Those nights meant nothing.”

It was so dark out by now that all the lights were blinked out except the sparkling ones in the sky. For a minute, she pulled open her window, letting the cool breeze from outside woosh across her face and send goosebumps to her skin. A part of her felt like if she opened that window, Isaac would appear, and it would all go back to normal. She blinked her eyes closed, remembering their last night together, which had been only a few weeks ago, weeks that felt so far away.

“Hey,” his lips twitched faintly.

They were rolled to their sides, facing each other, so close their noses almost touched. Isaac wore his jeans but had tossed his shirt to the floor, making it difficult for her to keep her eyes glued to his face. His honey colored curls toppled across his forehead, his blue eyes bright.

“Hey,” she smiled.

“Why are you awake?”

“Couldn’t sleep. You?”

“Same.”

“How come?”

“I guess I was just, thinking.”

“About what?”

“You.”

She snapped out of her daze, blinking down at the two bright lights that appeared in the folds of darkness. They were eyes, golden ones. She took in a sharp breath and slammed the window closed, clicking the lock shut and bounding back to her bed, diving beneath the sheets in hopes he hadn’t seen her. A rustling came from outside, and then face appeared at the window, a rasp of knuckles at the glass, but she didn’t move, her eyes slammed shut as she feigned sleep. There were a couple seconds of silence, and then-

“(Y/N)?”

His voice was soft, broken sounding, and unmistakably Isaac Lahey’s. Just the way her name sounded coming off his lips almost sent her spiraling.

“Please,” he tried again, a plea.

Her hands trembled and she tried with little luck to drown his voice out.

“I know you’re awake,” he said quietly, “I can hear the way you’re breathing.” He paused, voice breaking, “please, let me in, please.”

It wasn’t enough for her to open the window, but it was enough that she sat up, blinking at the boy outside. She could barely make him out, but was sure those golden wolf eyes could see her in crystal clear view. She turned her lamp on and faced Isaac, who’s eyes had lost their familiar glow, a heavy lack of sleep visible from his face and tousled curls.

“I messed up,” he said, his head bent in shame.

“Yeah, you did,” she tried to keep her voice steady.

“Please, let me explain.”

“You already did,” she snapped, mocking him, “it was a mistake.”

“No, no,” he shook his head, bringing a palm up to her window when she moved to her blinds. His eyes resumed their bright blue color, and it was a human hand that was pressed to her glass. She walked slowly to him, sinking down to the floorboards and hating herself for caving so easily. She raised her hand to the glass, pressing it against Isaac’s, and he bent forward so that his forehead could be against hers.

“Please,” he said again, blue eyes boring into her.

“Fine.”

She let him in, the tall boy struggling, as usual, to fit himself through. He stepped into her room, wearing black jeans and a navy shirt, eyes flickering around as if to see if she’d changed anything from the last time. He took in a deep breath, like he wanted to breathe in something familiar, to breathe her in, and for the first time, she saw clearly the purple markings that circled around his neck.

“What hap-” she began.

“I needed to see you,” he cut her off, “to say I’m sorry.”

She blinked at him with a cold expression.

“I just couldn’t stay away any longer. My dad, he found out I was sneaking out, and if he’d known I was coming to see you, he could’ve done something awful,” Isaac stumbled. “I had to keep you away so he wouldn’t find you, o-or hurt you.”

“But instead he hurt you,” she breathed, looking at the bruises on his flesh.

“It’s worth it,” he mumbled, “if you’re safe.”

“But I’m not,” she said, “not without you.”

“What do you mean?” his eyebrows arched, lips bending.

“I mean the nightmares have started again, since you left,” she whispered.

His eyes flickered sadly over her face, “mine too.”

She frowned and reached for his hand, trailing her fingertips lightly over his palms. His heart hammered obnoxiously in his chest, and he took in a sharp breath, “I can’t stay.” He pulled his hand back into his chest, distancing himself from her because he knew the smallest of touches would be enough for him to never leave.

“You can,” she said, “stay.”

“No, if I got home and my dad found out,” he began.

“Then don’t go home,” she stated, the answer so simple to her.

“What?”

“Stay,” she said again.

He stared at her, silence enveloping them as he searched for the right words to say, but finding none. She stood, closing the distance between their bodies and bringing her hand to Isaac’s sculpted cheekbones. When he tried to turn from her, she pressed her fingertips into him lightly.

“Don’t,” she begged. “Don’t do that thing where you push me away.”

“I can’t,” he looked down at her. “I can’t hurt you.”

“You won’t,” she ran her fingers along his jaw, “okay?”

He just stared at her, “how come you care so much?” His voice had dropped lower, like he was sensing something for the first time, like he was seeing her differently.

“Isaac, what were you gonna say that night, when you couldn’t sleep?” she averted the question and the tingling sensation in the pit of her stomach, “you never told me.”

“Neither did you,” he said.

Her hand dropped, and she shifted a little with discomfort.

“Was it nightmares keeping you up?” he asked.

“No, you know I don’t get them when-”

“When I’m there,” he finished.

She nodded.

“So what then?”

His words were soft and dangerous, like his next actions relied entirely upon her answer. She turned and began to pace with agitation, eyes glued to the dark floorboards, loose strands of heir toppling over her cheeks as she took in shallow breaths.

“Hey, hey,” Isaac steadied her, hands coming firmly to either side of her shoulder, “look at me.”

And she did. Her eyes flickered over those searing eyes, and gold locks, and full lips that drove her crazy. She took in a deep breath, Isaac’s dark cologne wafting into her lungs and making her dizzy.

“Will you stay?” she asked.

He brushed back her hair and ran his slender fingertips gently up to grip her face. He had to bend down to reach her, his forehead gently touching hers, breath cool and voice alluring when he answered, “as soon as you tell me, honestly.”

She stared at him, heart racing as his blue eyes devoured her, “come on sweetheart, I just need one word,” he said. “One word and I’m all yours,” he promised. “What was keeping you up?”

“You.”

And then his lips were on hers, and they became a tangled mess of body parts, her arms slinking around his neck, fingers tangled in his honey colored curls, Isaac’s hands grabbing roughly at her waist, the two going stumbling across the bedroom. She went falling to the bed, Isaac closing in over her as his lips attached hungrily back against her own, his hands crawling beneath her shirt and sending electricity through her bare skin. He nudged more forcefully into her mouth, hunger growing when she sighed and made that noise of contempt against him. His lips found her neck, and he pinned her waist down so she couldn’t wriggle as his mouth danced across her sensitive skin, tongue pressing slow into her and leaving purple marks. She tilted her head up, feeling his soft hair and hot breath against her and making Isaac go mad when she said his name the way she did. His slender fingertips went sliding down her stomach, sending shivers that made her arch her back beneath him.

He pulled hastily away, blue eyes boring into her, “you don’t know how many nights I lay here thinking about this, thinking about all the things I wanted to do to you,” he said huskily.

“So do them,” she dared.

And this time they didn’t sleep.

lapidot couldve been great if it was planned much earlier on

  • it couldve been implied that peridot was trying to help lapis by bringing her to the higher ups bc she thought theyd help a lost gem home from the war, not punish her
  • couldve been implied in jailbreak that peridot was kind to lapis but had to follow orders. jasper would yell at peridot for being soft
  • at the end of jailbreak, lapis would freak out over peridot being missing. maybe jasper says “im gonna shatter that peridot” or something and lapis fuses with her in part to protect peridot too
  • while peri is still an enemy of the cgs- have her lash out at them like “are you gonna do to me what you did to lazuli???”
  • once peri joins them, she helps garnet in the search for malachite (bTW WHY WAS THAT SO MINOR malachite was built up so much for nothing)
  • have peri angst over following orders. the gems reassure her that she wouldve been dead if she did
  • barn mates is still awkward for them bc of all the guilt they feel, but they apologize to each other for what happened
  • ok if lapises are terraformers then she mustve worked n a kindergarten on earth…peridots job is attending to them so whY is that not brought up at all?? at the very least for a parallel sorta deal
  • also made them both fat or butch so jasper hurting them has less bad connotations jeez

i walked the avenue ‘til my legs felt like stone

i heard the voice of friends vanished and gone

at night i could hear the blood in my veins

just as black and whispering as the rain

“Mulder, let’s drive to Philadelphia,” she says, gripping at his shirt with the same hand that clutches the mystery her mother has left her. Her fingernails work for traction on the slippery material, and she throws her body up against him, half begging and half demanding. “I need to work.”

“No,” he says. “No, no, no.”

“Yes. Right now.”

“No, I get it, Scully, I do. But not right now.”

She remembers, for a moment, the night his mother died. The night he asked her to cut Teena open. No, she had said, no, no, no. But she couldn’t refuse him anything, not even that, when he was so full of raw need. She would have cut herself open to soothe him.

“Mulder, right now,” she says, picking up her briefcase, putting an end to the conversation. “I need to work right now.”

She walks out of the hospital. She doesn’t look back because she knows he will follow. He’d never refuse her anything either.

"You're such a bitch" chloenette for the writing prompt please if your still taking requests

Authors note: I am so excited that I have multiple Chloenette and Ladybee promts in this challenge so I can explore so many dynamics in this relationship! For this one, I had to go with humor ^_^ (For those looking for romantic Chloenette don’t worry, it’s coming)

“Chloe, what are you doing?” Marinette asked as she stared at girl who was currently lounging in Alya’s seat.

“I’m sitting next to my best friend of course!” She smiled, patting the desk beside her, “Cesaire can sit over there. Isn’t that right Sabrina?” she called to her usual partner in crime.

“Of course! Whatever you think is best Chloe. I’m so excited we are getting new friends!” Sabrina grinned manically, giving Marinette an energetic wave.

Marinette slide into her seat. “What did you tell her?” she hissed, “I thought we were clear yesterday that a secret identity needs to be kept a secret!”

Of all the people to possibly find out about her alter ego, it had to be Chloe.

“Of course I didn’t tell her about… you know… I just told her that you and I ran into each other at a cafe and hashed out our differences,” Chloe whispered back. “So I was thinking we should go shopping together after class.”

“Why would you tell Sabrina that?” Marinette asked, praying that she could get this whole mess sorted out before Alya and Nino showed up. If she was lucky maybe today they would have one of their morning make out sessions and come racing in seconds before the bell.

“Well Sabrina is my best friend, I had to tell her something! Especially since we are going to be spending so much time together now. I didn’t want her freaking out and going all… invisible again.”

“What… time togeth… what are you talking about?”

Chloe gave her a pitying smile, “Oh silly, you don’t have to pretend anymore. I know you have to keep up the whole lame, clumsy persona so that people don’t figure out your secret, but you don’t have to hide from me! I’m your best friend!”

“No you’re really not.”

“And I know you better than anyone.”

“I seriously doubt that.”

“and just think, now you can be yourself around someone! Because we are truly together now. It’s like destiny. Me and Ladybug, just like it was always meant to be. And you know you can even act like less of a spaz and everyone will just assume that it’s because our friendship has made you that much cooler, and no one will suspect that it’s just your true self shining through.”

“Could this get any worse?”

“Chloe?” a new voice interrupted. “What are you doing in Alya’s seat?”

Apparently it could get worse, because Marinette looked up to see Adrien, looking confused, standing next to his own place in front of her. Great.

“Oh Adrikins! Marinette and I have decided to become best friends. It’s alright if I bring her with me for our monthly movie night on Thursday right?”

“Sure, I guess…” Adrien said still looking like he was expecting to wake up any second to find the whole conversation was a dream. Or maybe Marinette was projecting.

“I was thinking we could all go shopping first,” Chloe continued obliviously, “or maybe manicures because really Marinette we should do something about your poor nails. Oh! Before I forget- selfie!” She pulled out her phone, slinging an arm around Marinette shoulder and giving the camera a brilliant grin. Marinette scowled, then flushed self consciously when she noticed Adrien staring at them both with a strange, searching expression.

“Sorry!” Adrien said, shaking his head when he realized he had been caught staring, “deja vu… anyways I am glad you two are getting along now, it will be fun to all hang out together.” He gave them both an encouraging smile and slipped into his own seat, pulling out his phone.

Marinette sighed, slumping down in her chair. At least something good might come out of this. It seemed that Chloe was finally going to stop trying to ruin her already disastrous attempts to spend time with Adrien.

“So where should be go for lunch?” Chloe asked.

“Chloe, we are not going to lunch together,” Marinette said trying to channel her mother’s firm but quiet tone. “We are not best friends, and you need to go back to your seat, preferably before Alya gets here.”

“But you’re Ladybug.”

“Yes, but I am also Marinette. You know, the girl you picked on mercilessly for the last 5 years?”

“I know and I forgive you for that.”

“Chloe,” Marinette growled, “get out of that seat.”

“God, you’re such a bitch. So anyways I was thinking seafood…”

Pre note: I will not leave you in suspense any longer. The next chapter of Convergence. Enjoy!

A/N: There’s an ominous feeling lurking.

“Can we talk in private?”

“There’s not much to say.” I answered.

“Please, I know how betrayed you must feel.”

“You don’t know what the fuck I’m feeling.” I say walking towards Nat. “What do you know about betrayal? You’re an assassin, you thrive off of this.”

Bucky grabs my wrist. “Doll, calm down.”

I twist my wrist out of his grasp and slapped her. Natasha didn’t defend herself, she didn’t react, she stood there and took the expletives that I threw at her.

“How could you, Nat? I’m pregnant with his child, your goddaughter.” I say slowly hoping the words would sink in. “How could you sleep with him?” I turned to face Bucky.” How could you sleep with her?”

She knits her brows. “I didn’t sleep with him.”

“Liar!”

“He said you did.”

“We kissed…I kissed him, but I didn’t sleep with him.”

Bucky shakes his head. “Doll, like me, you have jumped and dove into the cliff of conclusions. Natasha and I slept together during my hydra days.”

I was stunned. “What?”

“Back then we were never in a romantic relationship, but we did everything else in between.”

“So you were fuck partners?”

Bucky hesitates then nods and Nat cringed slightly, steeling herself.

“But that was all in the past, unlike you and Loki.”

“What’s that supposed to mean? I told you there’s nothing going on between Lo and I.”

Lo stepped forward to defend me, but Thor held him back. “No. Let them work it out.”

“You don’t trust me, do you?”

“With him, no.” Bucky says bluntly.

Nat spoke breaking the silence. “I love him.”

“No, shit.” I say thinking back on all the situations and missions where Natasha’s innocent concern and attentiveness was much more than I observed it to be. All of this happening under my nose and I didn’t suspect for one second that there was something there besides friendship.

“Natasha, I’m not in love with you and I never will be. We both knew what it was back then, I wasn’t in the right frame of my mind to give you or anyone anything stable. I told you this and you were fine with what we were.”

She nods. “I know, but it doesn’t make me love you any less.”

“Fuck this shit.” I say.

“Doll.”

“Bucky, no. You and Nat need to figure out what the hell this is because she is deeply in love you. Don’t you see that?”

He glanced at her then gazed at me. “You are all I see, Dollface. I love you, I am deeply in love with you.”

My eyes slowly met his and the vulnerability in his eyes almost caused me to rush into his arms and repeat those same three words, but another three words left my lips.“It’s not enough.”

I brushed pass Clint as I entered the house.

Days later…

I don’t know what it was about the day, but everything felt a bit off, I didn’t find comfort in the sun’s rays like I normally do and the energy in the house was thick and charged that the slightest criticism triggered an argument.

Loki has kept his distance and so has Thor, who hasn’t had a beer since my outburst with Natasha. Him and Loki have been watching me, whispering to each other as if they knew something and it made me a bit uneasy. They abruptly left and went back to Asgard I assumed, not saying when they would return. I don’t know if Natasha and Bucky spoke and at this point I was too exhausted to care. With Clint she went in search of Vision and Wanda to let them know about Bucky. Tony and Bruce left for Switzerland for a geek convention as Sam called it and Steve was out on a mission. As for Bucky and I nothing has resolved itself, I’m still angry and he doesn’t know what to say, so we move around in silence until one of us can find our voice.

I writhed as the icy and bony fingers of a hooded figure reached out and touched my stomach. I woke up violently drenched in sweat. I pulled back the covers and looked down at my belly, half delirious, thinking I would see the handprint of the hooded figure on my round belly.

“Doll.” He says groggily as his sleepy blues flashed opened.

“I’m fine.” I say. “Just had a nightmare.”

“I love you.” he says sleepily as his eyes fluttered before he was dragged back into sleeps’ clutches.

I padded downstairs to the kitchen, I felt ravenous. I opened the refrigerator and pulled out a platter that crashed to the floor as I felt the sharp pain in my stomach I doubled over in pain, hitting my head on the counter as I went down. Another shock of pain ripped through my vocal chords numbing my body. I screamed, but all that came out was an inaudible and low whisper, “Bucky.” The third stab of pain brought tears to my eyes and flayed my flesh from my bones as I succumbed to the depths of unconsciousness.

Post note: The next few chapters are going to get dark in every possible way. But I promise you the ending of the series, which I’ve already written will be well worth it.
