The almost "I love you" scene in season 4 finale where Emma tackles Killian to the bed.
OH MY GOD, HIS FACE. His face is so expressive, and you can just see how supportive and patient he’s being, but also how absolutely eager and hopeful he is that she mightmightmight say the magic words… and then she doesn’t, and you can see his disappointment, but also his determination to be there for her and be patient until she’s ready to say the words he knows she wanted to say but couldn’t just yet.
So my unpopular opinion / confession? I wanted to fucking throttle Emma for not saying those words. It was like dangling a tennis ball in front of a Golden Retriever’s nose, watching it get so adorably excited because “You’re gonna throw it! OH MY GOD it’s a tennis ball and you’re gonna THROW IT ohboy ohboy ohboy!!!!” and then being like, “Haha, shit no, I’m not throwing it.”
BITCH, I WILL CUT YOU. And then she went and said it anyway, like 30 fucking seconds later, in the middle of a super angsty moment, like taking that adorable Retriever to the vet and then being like, “But I’ll throw the ball now, okay boy?” Like, “That’s nice, human, but couldn’t we have done this before? When I was so happy and wanted it so much… and we weren’t at the vet?”
