If you havn't before, could you make a quick tutorial on how you color your art?

sure thing!! imma use the light n yunie pic i just did cause im too lazy to make another one rn a har har
OK SO. FIRST FLATS

i don’t always work like… right from the sketch without any lines beforehand but for this one i did cause everything was on one layer and i sort rushed it lol ^q^… DONT DO THAT USUALLY ITS ANNOYING AND TAKES A LONG TIME…

FINALLY i mean ok i usually i go until i have the flats the way i want em and i don’t worry about adjusting the color levels until the VERY END. BUT THIS POINT IS LIKE THE VERY END. SO HERE WE GO I USUALLY START WITH AN OVERLAY LAYER

ITS AN EASY WAY TO GET A FEW EXTRA VALUES IN THERE and also colorize it a lil BUT IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT OVERLAY IS/HOW IT WORKS ITS P SIMPLE!! I WILL SHOW YOU.

IM SURE LIKE EVERY DRAWING PROGRAM HAS SOME KINDA OVERLAY LAYER SETTING but this is just what it looks like/how it goes in photoshop ye. THE IMPORTANT THING IS you decide what kinda color accents you’re gonna add to your flats and then decide how intense you want them to be!! opacity is your friend omg

LASTLY color adjustments!! this is either the easiest part or the hardest part heh AGAIN A LOT OF DRAWING PROGRAMS HAVE THIS THIS IS JUST WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE/WHERE IT IS IN PHOTOSHOP there really is no limit to the weird shit you can get if you just play with these tools I THREW ON BUNCH ON AND USED THE BLACK LINES TO SEPARATE TO SHOW YOU so after you play a lot it’s just a matter of deciding which one looks reasonable for the picture/which one you like best!! remember you can just the opacity on these layers too!!

HOORAY
