You were generally a humble person. You didn’t like going out of your way to flaunt what you had and you were typically modest about your accomplishments. You pride yourself on being patient and you think it’s with good reason because not everyone can survive young adulthood with people like Kim Dahyun. You could consider yourself one in a million.

Which is exactly why you think you were being reasonable when you stare Dahyun down in the entryway of your apartment, wordless, motionless.

She’s helped him more than anyone has ever has in his entire life. He didn’t has so many people close to him. But I’m happy that he let her in. Sve never fail to slap him in the face with reality when I need or deserve it, nor does she hesitate to give him a helping hand when it’s obvious that I can’t do it on my own. I don’t know what he would do without her.

And just because they don’t talk anymore, doesn’t mean they forgotten about each other, it doesn’t mean that they no longer care. Truth is they still do. Bonnie does her best to check up on him, to see how he’s doing. To see if he’s okay. But I think that everytime Damon has the urge to talk to her, it suddenly hits him that, they become strangers, he thinks that she doesn’t want him in her life. Enzo, Sybil and even Elena are the reason he’s no longer a part of her. But even though everything’s changed; I just want you to know guys, they’re still here and still hope for their friendship to come back. I JUST MISS THEM SO DAMN MUCH, I MISS THEM BEING BEST FRIENDS, AND DAMON’S STUPID JOKES, I JUST MISSED THEM. I don’t know why JP suddenly decided to drift them apart. I want them to be friends again, the way they used to be.

honestly we could have had such a good peith-ish interaction alone if they had shown more of what happened immediately after keith was revealed as a galra. like- pidge was obviously okay with it! she wasn't angry or anything like allura even though, to quote allura, they both had their father's taken by zarkon. she had every reason to be a little miffed (not allura levels though jesus) about it but she wasn't because /it's keith/ and she cares about him.

GOD RIGHT!! i think EVERYBODY (excluding allura) had a bad, lackluster reaction to the galra reveal, ESPECIALLY pidge. and even hunk!! i enjoyed how light-hearted he was about it but what happened to season 1 during the balmera arc when it all finally hit him JUST HOW BAD the galra are?? did all that just go away in place of bad food jokes? lol

but god yeah pidge was fucking robbed. in order of people who should have been the most pissed about it, it should have gone 1. allura (which was the case, so i’m happy about this at least), 2. shiro (come on he should of had SOME conflicted feelings at least), and 3. pidge. i think you’re defnitely right, she shouldn’t have been AS angry as allura was about it, but she definitely should have been shown to be more not-okay with it. the galra has had her family captive for over a year and they almost murdered her brother purely for their own entertainment. IN GENERAL pidge should be shown hating the galra more than she is, but ESPECIALLY in this case tbh

Based on all the comments and questions I'm seeing, last night was contentious. I really enjoyed Stefan this episode, and I don't really know what people were expecting from him, but I saw exactly what I expected. Caroline is adopting interesting tactics on putting the burden on Stefan. She isn't going to chase him; Stefan is going to have to be worthy of her. I loved that because an obsessive guy like Stefan won't be able to stay away. By playing hard to get, Stefan is more likely to come back.

I think the reason some people are getting so frustrated with Caroline is because they don’t fully understand stand her plan. It’s far more nuanced than we have seen before, and her powerful statement about fun vs. happiness and tossing the ring is all apart of her plan to make him feel. She wasn’t going for the home run, but going from base to base. On the surface it does look like she is giving up, but the plan (in all its subtly) is being executed perfectly: make the ripper play your game.

I think the main issue is what it always is that people think antis can use the angst against us so people are on edge because everything wasn’t fluff and Stefan was an asshole (like he is every single damn time he’s turned it off in the past.) I completely agree with both statements above about how there’s much more to Caroline’s tactics than anyone who believes she gave up is seeing. Look at how Stefan tried to reach out to Caroline in 6x16 to get her to turn her humanity back on and it completely backfired on him, Caroline remembers that and she knows Stefan is even more of a sadistic mind fuck than she is without his humanity.

She wasn’t going for the home run, but going from base to base.

I love this analogy because that’s exactly what she’s doing, she’s playing “small ball” with him (for those who understand baseball strategy) and she’s slowly going to wear him down. But most importantly Caroline is going to let Stefan destroy himself by making him lose at his own game. Its extremely smart and Caroline is trying to do one of the hardest you can do on this show out-manipulate Ripper Stefan, his downfall in S6 was that he wanted to follow her around and now she’s doing the same thing making him come to her. She knew he was going to pocket that ring.

Had a psychological assessment today for reasons and I’ll probs talk more about it on my trauma blog when I get the draft report but I just had to get one thing out

She tried to tell me that it’s impossible to have avpd if you’re autistic, because apparently all the symptoms are already explained by autism?? Which is the same thing another psychologist said about social anxiety??

What the fuck is up with everyone thinking autism revolves around social difficulties, and that having those kinds of comorbidities is just a natural part of autism?? Like, I’m not terrified of doing things wrong in a social setting because I’m autistic, I’m terrified because the world is ableist and abusive when you do things “wrong”

My avpd symptoms are not “better explained by autism”. I wasn’t born with these symptoms, I developed them in response to life kicking my ass repeatedly and having to deal with that mostly on my own.

Ok so I think the pedophile thing came about because 1) he's friends with creepy uncle Terry who has been accused multiple times of sexually assaulting models. 2) he has a tendency to date women who are a lot younger than he is, starting with Kemp Muhl who he dated before she was of legal age. And then 3) for me personally I find it really creepy that two of the girls he's dated recently look like they're about 15 years old but I have my own theory as to why he dates girls who are so young.

those are some good points i bet those are reasons why people are thinking/ saying that about him

emilysshook  asked:

Thank you so much! Also the reason I don't talk to her anymore is because she was abusive and I stood up for myself and now she's like even worse. I have blocked her, I just find it funny how she hates me so much when I should hate her but I don't

people like this should fuck off tbh like why the hell would u hate someone for no reason at all????¿ it makes no sense??? i think the best thing to do is to try and ignore her existence and live ur life without worrying about if shes talking shit about u!! cause ur amazing and u dont deserve toxic people in ur life!!!

  • what she says: i'm fine
  • what she really means: in season 9 episode 21 of Friends "The One With the Fertility Test" Chandler tells Monica they are both incapable of having a baby, due to low sperm motility and an inhospitable environment. I always assumed Chandler lied to Monica about his low sperm motility so Monica wouldn't find out she was the reason they couldn't conceive. (Even though there was no way to prove it). However, when the doctor calls and Chandler answers, he asks to speak to Monica...if something was wrong with Chandler, the doctor would've told him because he was already on the phone. And when Monica asked Chandler if there was a problem with him or with her, before answering, Chandler hesitates and looks off to the side a little before saying "actually it's both of us."
  • so basically all I'm ever going to think about is how Chandler probably did lie to Monica to protect her from knowing that she is the reason they cannot naturally have a child, the one thing she has wanted since the beginning of season 1, and now i have to cry for eternity

i dunno if this is going to be weirdly worded but i think part of the reason why these “alex is bi” headcanons upset me so much is because lesbians and bisexual women have such different experiences when it comes to discovering and understanding their sexuality.

lesbians and bisexual women both share the same experience of realising that they’re attracted to women, of course, but a big part of my journey as a lesbian was understanding my lack of attraction to men.

alex talked specifically about how she was never comfortable being intimate with men and how she thought that there was something wrong with her- i understand that, i relate to that on every level and i hate seeing that specific aspect of her journey disregarded to fit into a certain headcanon.

I think I will only accept a lion shuffle if it’s literally everyone ends up with a different lion.

Like, oops, Allura was actually TOTALLY FUCKING WRONG about EVERYONE because she had literally just met them 20 minutes ago.

Black - Lance (sure okay why not let’s give it a shot I’m down to clown, develops leadership qualities, this is reminding me of the pirate captain from Stardust for some reason, ‘the heart of the team’, Will listen to everyone and make the right call (eventually))

Yellow - Keith (Really works with his impulsiveness tbh?, The yellow lion makes him slow down and think b/c he can’t just bolt in, Will pull back and make everyone think twice, Sees the Big Picture better than everyone else on the team, No your family/Allura are not more important than the rest of the entire universe guys)

Green - Hunk (nosy, interested in learning, wants to touch EVERYTHING, will steal and read your diary and go through your files, crazy smart and eager to question)

Red - Pidge (I’m gunna BREAK INTO THE GG and SIT AT YOUR COMPUTER AND READ YOUR FILES then SCREAM AT YOU, openly impulsive and quick to temper, often takes the bullheaded approach, Will do her own thing regardless of what others think)

Blue - Shiro (The one that keeps the group together and calm, Moral support and there to listen, Will encourage you and make you feel like you can do anything)

Sansa, Smart

So. Sansa. I hear some people think she’s not very clever. This is a view shared by several characters in the books.

But there’s no reason the readership should share those views. Sansa is a very clever individual who makes increasingly good use of several skills she started the series with, and develops greatly as an observer and an actor over the course of the story.

Putting everything under a cut, for reasons of four books of brainpower.

  • couldn’t bring himself to kill Galen and went against orders because he actually believed and trusted Jyn
  • looks good in fur
  • has lost a lot, but isn’t afraid to keep loving

  • has one (1) friend, and he’s a droid who’s a giant asshole

I said this before but I’ll say it again. Why do you think Sherlock said “Mary and I think seven”? Why did Sherlock say “she doesn’t” when John insists she likes his mustache? Sherlock is NOT asking her behind John’s back — he’s deducing. We are told through John’s blog that Sherlock can recognize the signs a woman exhibits when she’s attracted to someone. SHERLOCK DOES NOT SEE THOSE SIGNS FROM MARY (TOWARD JOHN) WHEN HE FIRST MEETS HER. Sherlock jumps to the wrong conclusion – he assumes she doesn’t like the mustache because HE doesn’t like the mustache. Any other reason for a lack of attraction doesn’t make any sense, so it *has* to be the mustache. This is John Watson they’re talking about – Sherlock can’t think of any other reason someone might not find John attractive. This exact same faulty logic is applied in HLV when Sherlock deduces that Mary believes John has gained seven pounds. Sherlock sees a lack of attraction from Mary and assumes Mary has noticed the weight gain. She hasn’t. SHERLOCK is the one who notices and assumed Mary thinks like him. She does not – and this is the problem.

Sherlock assumes there’s a reason for Mary to act like she does around John. He does not think for one second that she does not love him. That is not an option. But this is his biggest mistake! His own feelings clouded his judgement. He couldn’t see her for what she was because even his giant brain couldn’t wrap around the possibility of someone not being attracted to John Hamish Watson.

This is the heart of the problem, the one so many people ignore because we saw a woman plead to keep her husband from leaving her. We, like Sherlock, give her the benefit of the doubt because she’s engaged to John. She must love him. That’s what women *do*. The reason a woman wants to keep her husband from leaving is because she *loves* him. Keep in mind we have no reason to believe that other than our preconceived notion of what every woman’s motivation happens to be (loving men).

****We are wrong just like Sherlock was****

Mary never says she loves John – because she doesn’t. She’s never been attracted to John and we’ve ignored all the signs because we think we know how the story always goes. There is a reason she’s in John’s life and it’s not love. The minute AGRA revealed herself is the minute Sherlock realized that.

She is a plant, a tool (hence her role in TAB).

“Said you were out, insisted on waiting”

***Sherlock wonders what the woman (Mary) is doing in their sitting room (life)***

***Instead of asking, he guesses she’s there because she loves John and wants to make things work with him***

This is him doing things wrong TWICE. He assumes her to be motivated by love TWICE. Because HE is always motivated by love. But in TAB he realizes she’s an agent for hire (who leads him to Moriarty) and that’s what’s most important.

Mary has never loved John Watson.

After the carousel of emotions that provoked me the winter finale and the pre infarct that I suffered after seeing the kiss between marco and jackie I conclude that I loved the line of events, not because I¨m jarco team  One of the main reasons I saw the serie was shipping marco and star,  It was just a pleasure to see how star who is a girl who only thinks about going through great adventures and having fun with a smile on her face act so emotional and sensitive, She showed so many expressions that she had never shown before and that leave her usual character, it was so beautiful, While the red moon be in the sky will act as the red thread of fate sealing the fate of two souls who are destined to love each other, I am exciting to see how star shows us more expressions of a normal teenager who is not willing to let herself snatch what is hers

This is really important guys !

Like you may have read in my META about episode 2x06, Maggie isn’t sure of Alex’s feelings for her. She just thinks she’s Alex first gay crush, that Alex doesn’t really love her for who she is but that she’s her first real experience in the “gay world”. She thinks if she allows herself to fully love Alex, she would end up hurt because eventually, Alex would see her for who she is and she would leave her for someone better. After all, she’s obsessed with work and borderline sociopathic. She doesn’t do well with relationships. There must be a reason why her previous girlfriend broke up with her. She’s not good enough. She thinks she still isn’t good enough for Alex. That they both would end up hurt. And she can’t do that to Alex she can’t hurt her because she cares about her deeply. More than she would like to admit.

When Alex says to her “I was sure of one thing. And that was my feelings for you.”, Maggie can’t believe it. She can’t believe Alex is really in love with her, that she isn’t just a crush that Alex will soon forget. She understands at that exact moment that Alex isn’t experiencing things for herself, that the world isn’t shiny to her, that she really hurt her. This is a look of pure surprise guys ! Maggie is astonished that Alex confesses her feelings to her. She isn’t used of being loved for who she really is.

Then, Alex continues with her feelings … Her feelings for her, Maggie, for this amazing woman. And that’s where you can see in Maggie’s eyes that she doesn’t believe Alex for a second … She isn’t amazing. She hurt Alex, she detroys every person she lays her hands on. She isn’t good. That’s the moment Maggie begins to tell herself that maybe, just maybe, she is enough, she can be loved for who she is …

And that … friends … is the beginning of an amazing journey.

‘those relationships never work out’

alright let’s talk about this. let’s talk about how that is the reason maggie can’t do this. like, essentially in this moment, maggie is saying that she can’t get involved with her because they would end and then they would get hurt and she doesn’t want that. she doesn’t want to hurt her (which she inadvertently did anyway but she did it because it was the right thing). she’s doing this because alex means too much to her for her to lose her because of a failed relationship attempt. maggie cares so deeply about alex, and i think right now she’s kind of thrown about what way that is, and she doesn’t want to lose her because they don’t work because maybe alex decides that she only wanted maggie because she was ‘shiny’. alex is too important to maggie for her to say ‘yeah sure let’s do this now’. and i think that’s really really important.

Being McGonagall's daughter and having a crush on Snape would include:
  • Okay let’s do it like this
  • You’re almost the same age as Snape
  • And you’d be the new DADA teacher
  • Because your mom had begged you to take the job
  • “why?”
  • “Albus can’t find a decent teacher and we all know you’d be better than Lockhart”
  • Introducing yourself to every teacher/College
  • Who all love the idea of McGonagall daughter to teach the students
  • Being great friends with Sprout
  • And always glancing towards Snape in the teacher’s lounge
  • Which doesn’t go unnoticed by your mom
  • “are you having a crush on Severus”
  • Blushing like crazy
  • stuttering
  • “What makes you think that?”
  • McGonagall smirking, shaking her head
  • She would be against it at first because Snape isn’t always the nicest person
  • but eventually she is the reason why you got together
  • “how about you two spend some time together huh?”
  • You’d try to talk to him
  • And he’d be secretly enjoying finally being alone with you
  • You and Severus actually getting together
  • Secretly sending notes to each other
  • Quick  kisses
  • Wanting to keep it a secret for the students
  • Till Harry and Ron find the two of you snogging
  • “How does it come that Snape gets such a hot girlfriend and we don’t?”
  • Dates to Hogsmeade
  • And eventually most of the students found out what was going on
  • Because Snape would be a lot less moody
  • And he’d be somehow nicer to Harry and all Gryffindors/Hufflepuffs/Ravenclaws.
  • Slytherin students liking you a bit more
  • Severus would be the kind of person that hugs you from behind
  • And surprises you with stupid little gifts
  • He’d always give you little compliments
  • “don’t you look dashing”
  • “You look amazing”
  • Eye fucking each other from across the Great Hall
  • Which doesn’t go unnoticed by the students
I think Newt sees that potential in her. That’s a lot of what falling in love is, you feel someone else recognizing what you have to offer. As their relationship evolves, she sees what’s motivating him, and then you start to notice they are both very passionate about what they do, they are both a little stunted, not very good at expressing themselves, and you start to see the reasons why they have become that way. He’s very isolated in his work. She is taking care of her sister because they lost their parents when they were young. They’re two people who really haven’t had too much time to have a good time. In contrast to Jacob and Queenie who are much freer.
—  Katherine Waterston, The Case of Beasts

Just wanted to make something quick and stupid.

The dude is Gulddreng, meaning Golden Boy. He’s been having a few hits in Denmark, but a lot of people don’t seem to realize he is parodying self centered musicians and mocking the kind of people who think attitudes like that is cool. He name drops famous people constantly, sings about how easy it is to be famous, and all the models he sleeps with, mixed with weird stuff like “I respect you and your wife because she’s delicious just like me”. How people can think he’s serious is beyond me.

His first hit was “Er du model” (“Are you a model”) and was a compilation of stupid things men say to hit on women. The reason why I drew this was because I got his song “Ked af det” (“Sad”) stuck in my head https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HeujBVrHjNQ where he jumps back and forth between saying “I’m so sorry that I’ve hurt so many people’s feelings” (he hasn’t) to “Actually, screw your feelings” and back again.

Her Return

Let’s not beat around the bush here. We know Bismuth is coming back at some point. She still has make amends with Lapis, learn from her mistakes and ultimately rejoin the crystal gems as a mentally stable member of the team.

There are a lot of things Bismuth needs to do, but in order for her to come back, Steven and the gems are going to need to find a reason to let her out of her bubble, and as a fan theorist It’s high time I talk about how I think that’s going to happen.

Bismuth’s return can go one of a few different ways, but if she’s going to come back on her own, we need to stop thinking for a moment about WHO she is and start focusing on what she is: A weaponsmith, and a damned good one at that.

If bismuth’s coming back it’s going to be because someone needs a new weapon, and there are really only two cases we have a chance of predicting

The first is Rose’s sword, which Bismuth herself crafted. Unlike ordinary gem weapons, Rose’s sword is a real, permanent object that can’t be summoned endlessly or replaced if lost or broken.

Being a legendary sword, there’s a very decent chance that at some point, for some reason or another that sword is going to get shattered, as so many heroes swords do. If that happens, it would need to be reforged and Bismuth is the only gem we know who could do it (unless garnet uses her future vision to gain years of blacksmithing experience instantly by practicing in a bunch of alternate timelines).

Unfortunately this scenario is still fairly unlikely for the simple fact that we don’t know anyone with a sword strong enough to cut through it (Ronaldo’s nippon steel notwithstanding)

No, if there’s one way to drag bismuth back, there’s really only one good hook

Let’s look at the facts here. Peridot may have metalbending skills, but her being able to use it depends on her having a piece of metal that’s light enough for her to lift and pointy enough to do damage but isn’t embedded in the wall or ground.

Unless people in Beach City leave piles of rebar lying around, Peridot is going to need some sort of weapon, and as luck has it we might be just be coming up on the topic within the next two episodes

While we’ve been following the crystal gems on a rescue mission to the human zoo, Garnet left Lapis and Peridot (and Connie) in charge of protecting beach city in her absence. If this was an implicit thing I wouldn’t be talking about it, but because they gave us more than a few seconds to focus on their task I am going to go ahead and assume that something is going to come up while they’re gone

Now, I don’t have any doubt that Lapis can handle any problem that comes up, and if Connie is in the picture she’d be able to do something or other with her months of sword training and perplexing superhuman strength, but Peridot is going to contribute nothing to the party, and the realization would crush her tiny spirit.

Now, while we’re treated to a flashback of what happened (in the narrative frame of Lapis or Peridot describing the events to Steven) Peridot would be struggling to cope with the fact that being a nerd isn’t enough to protect earth. She needs some kind of combat training, and more importantly, she needs a weapon, and who do you think they’d turn to under those circumstances?

Guess who?

Bismuth coming back into the picture with peridot has an added bonus, because now that they’re roommates and teammates, if you’re getting a peridot Lapis will probably be there too, leaving us all the setup we need for a bismuth/lapis confrontation.

I just love it when everything comes together, even it’s only in my imagination
