I remember the very first time they announced Alive Tour I was so heartbroken because I wasn’t going to be in Singapore at the time and I’d really wanted to watch them live because I’d been crazy over them for close to 2 years. But months later, it turned out they were heading to London and I miraculously got the privilege to watch Big Bang perform in a city they’d never performed in before.
When I first arrived at the venue, I was in awe because I saw that so many people had gathered together and were dancing the Bad Boy choreo flawlessly. The girl sitting next to me was from Spain and she said she’d flown down just for the concert, just like I had flown from another European city. Everyone was from a myriad places, from all walks of life, all kinds of nationalities, ethnicities and age groups imaginable.
When Big Bang finally came out, though I was far in the back, I promptly burst into tears (squeezed my friend’s arm so hard too) because it was just magical. And by some sheer luck, I happened to be in the section that my bias TOP had been assigned to. So every time he waved up at us, I’d wave back like an idiot even though I knew I was too far back to be noticed anyway. My pictures were shitty and most of the time, I snapped shots of the screen instead because they were too far. But still, when they did their acoustic version of Haru Haru, every single person in the audience sang it word for word and my heart swelled because that’s the kind of experience you can’t replicate anywhere. And you could see that even BB was pleasantly surprised (probably even touched) that people so far from home knew words to their song too.
For all those of you who are getting to watch Big Bang for the first time this MADE tour, it’ll be fucking phenomenal, trust me. I’m just so excited and immensely happy to know that even more VIPs are going to have the wonderful opportunity to watch them. ♡♡♡ /yay
