but i went with this one

I think I have finally defeated this enemy of my life

I have finally cut off its hand that still held me

I have finally shed its embrace that surrounded me

I have finally burst through its shadow that kept me from growing

I no longer crave it

I no longer need it

I no longer want it

I no longer have it

I can finally sleep soundly again.

Has anyone already spoken about the reason why Julian can walk in broad daylight over the markt or sit in the Rowdy Raven without the people running to the guards and report him?
I doubt they have forgotten him. My theory is they actually don’t care that he (supposedly) had killed Lucio, because the count was very unpopular among the citizen of Vesuvia.

And why was Lucio unpopular?
Since neither he or Nadia are born ruler of Vesuvia and Lucio a former Mercenary, I can imagine he invaded that city and took control over it, proclaiming himself Count. Due to various hints I’m very sure that he wasn’t a kind ruler, collected a lot of taxes and had strict rules.
In Nadia’s route Valerius seemed very surprised when she called Lucio “beloved husband”, indicating that they hadn’t a good relationship. Makes me think that Nadia maybe was some kind of ‘gift’, so that Lucio wouldn’t invade her kingdom too or something along that line. Definitely an arranged marriage.

So in the end, Lucio’s death was more a thing to be happy about for the Vesuvian people. Still hard to tell what the council thought about him, but I guess they and the guards simply do their job, what they are supposed to do when a ruler gets killed: Find the murderer, punish them and make sure it wouldn’t happen again in the future.

I grew an extra bone in my face. They had to biopsy it, and it was all clear just extra bone. The doctor said we didn’t need to look into it further really unless it grows back again and it totally did but I think it’s just because my body wants to keep its extra bone, it went through all the trouble to grow it

It’s really interesting to me that what is arguably Lance’s greatest strength is also his biggest source of insecurity.

Like, this boy is so adaptable. You can throw him into space, into a war, into a new lion, and he’ll essentially shrug his shoulders and slot himself into place. What makes the kid a powerhouse is that you can put him in any circumstance and he’ll find out where he fits and pretty much be able to hold his own there. He can integrate himself into basically any group dynamic (see: rebel mermaids, Hunk + Lance + BoM, and Team Voltron after Shiro). What Lance brings to the table is an ability to do what’s needed, to fill roles that need filling, and to mesh with anyone.

But, for someone who values standing out, that would be seen as a negative trait. Lance wants to carve out his own place in the group– it’s why he’s so attached to the idea of being the “sharpshooter” (though, that does appear to be a niche of his!!). To him, it seems like everyone else around him has this “thing” that makes them special and unique– and, since he doesn’t (or, at least, he thinks other people don’t think he does) he feels sort of average and unskilled by comparison.

The creators have said before that Lance’s character is about “providing what’s needed at the time” and like. Exactly. His “thing” is that he can essentially take on any “thing” you need him to and do it at least decently. That’s what makes him unique, and I can’t wait to see him realize it.
