((Message to thy artist: You seem to have too many compliments! But here's another, I really do like your art and your personal character. (Not referring to Bendy) They look so gosh darn cute!)) Hi. Its me again. Found some markers on my own no thanks to you. Anyways! What do you think about Betty Boop? Have you ever heard of her? This is the only time I'll bother you again.

(( Thank you so much!! ;w; If anyone wants to they can follow my personal/art blog @pippop-art ))

Betty? Oh gosh, she’s a doll face. I adore her~.

I haven’t seen her in ages.

I really want to just take a day and play around with makeup. Like I know that will sound silly to some of you but I’ve never really tried to experiment that much? I just slap on some crap and go “well that doesn’t look like a total mess” but what I’d really like to do is find a style where I can say “yes, I love how this makes me look.”

I don’t just want to follow tutorials, I want to try a bunch of different things and see what works for my own individual face. I really admire people who have that definitive look that brings out their features in an amazing way and I want that too.

I’ll probably just end up getting frustrated and giving up though.

It’s just Jason’s bad luck that – in the middle of his training as Red Hood – they take him, too.

Things in my own life aren't amazing right now. I look to entertainment like The 100 as an escape. In this fandom, it's easy to get caught up in ship wars & BTS actor woes & all sorts of arguments about race/ethnicity/gender/disability/representation, etc. But tonight, regardless of whether the show gives me exactly what I want to see, I'm going to sit back, let it go Frozen style, and just enjoy the Bellamy/Jasper dynamic. ;) Because it'll be a month before we see these lovely actors again. xo

Baby, me too.

Me too.

Do you have tips for people with sensory issues who struggle to brush their teeth? The sound and feeling really make it hard, but not brushing is bad and I want nice teeth!

I’m not very experienced in this area I’m afraid but I’ve had a look at a few sources for ideas to try. I do have my own issues with brushing my teeth due to sensitivity and dental issues. I’ve found that avoiding powerful minty toothpastes can help. I go for mild mint or other flavours and it makes everything else a little easier to deal with. You can also get toothpastes that foam less although I haven’t tried this. I’ve heard of people using just baking soda too.

Also it could be worth trying out silicone brushes? They could help with the way it feels. You can get regular brushes with softer or harder bristles and different shapes so experimenting here is worth a try.

Using hot/warm water rather than cold when wetting your brush and rinsing can help some. It’s a small thing but it’s a little less of a shock to your mouth. Heat relaxes and can also soften brush bristles.

I’ve had a look around and apparently some find that managing other senses can help. Like minimising smells, or plugging ears. Or some play music. You could see if your other senses play a role that could help.

I think this problem would affect people differently so it is best to try out different things and see what works for you. And when things are bad, think about what you could do when brushing isn’t easy. Some people use their fingers with some paste or mouthwash.

I hope this helps but if not, try looking into groups for sensory issues. I know facebook has quite a few support groups with thousands of members where you can ask questions and get a lot of responses.

I think a fundamental part of online friendships that people ‘outside’ fail to understand is how comforting it is to have friends right there in your pocket who will keep you company in good times and bad, listen to your rants, let you vent, be supportive whilst offering outsider perspective…

  • Need to be alone but need support too? Pocket friends.
  • Something awful just happened and there’s nobody around for you to tell? Pocket friends.
  • Need to let your feelings out but don’t want people to see you ugly-cry? Pocket friends.

Keep being amazing, pocket friends. You couldn’t possibly imagine how important you are.

Patrick Stewart applying for US citizenship so he can ‘fight’ Trump

“You know, we have our own problems. We have Brexit. But I’m not a (US) citizen. However, there is, maybe it’s the only good thing as the result of this election, I am now applying for citizenship. Because I want to be an American, too.” The “X-Men” star continued: “Because all of my friends in Washington said there’s only one thing you can do: fight, fight, oppose, oppose. But I can’t do it because I’m not a citizen.”

Ok i’m kind of a huge loser and needed to draw this stuff to get it out of my system and I feel like I put enough time into it to… post it to my main blog.

I imagine Tom and Janna would have a great friendship where Janna is constantly giving Tom near heart-attacks. I actually want to draw more just general interaction stuff for them for fun, so I’ll do that later. I figured I’d post these on their own though.

Can I just talk about how important this press conference is to me. He just got back from Afghanistan after months of torture. He refused to go to the hospital and instead immediately went to a press conference. He could barely stand, and instead had everybody sit with him, but he showed up.

“We have become comfortable with a system of zero accountability” Tony’s first thought when he arrived home, now aware that bad people were using his weapons was to stop it. He didn’t go to the hospital or to his own home. He went to the public and told them.

‘Hey bad shit happened because of me, so I’m going to hold me accountable, and I’m gonna tell you what I’m going to do so you can hold me accountable too.’

Now when I get home from vacation the only thing I want to do is go home, and I don’t generally have emotionally scarring things happen during my vacations. I just miss my home. After months in Afghanistan I’m sure Tony did too. Yet he prioritized shutting down weapons to that. Which he should have, but it shows incredible strength of character.

I’m just so proud of him as a character. Like good for you Tony.

My roommate just walked in the door and asked if I have pants on because her parents are with her… so then this happened

“Stiles do you have pants on?” Derek yelled into the apartment as he unlocked the door.

“Yeah but I can take them off if there’s sexytime in my future,” Stiles yelled back and Derek’s ears burned red.

“My mom’s with me,” Derek said, avoiding eye contact with his mother.

Talia laughed, “Hi Stiles.”

“Hi Mrs. Hale,” Stiles said, coming out of the bedroom, face red and voice a little higher than usual, “I didn’t know you were coming by.”

“I can go if you two have big plans,” Talia said and Stiles blushed harder. Derek felt his own cheeks flush too, “I just wanted to come see the new place.”

“Well here it is,” Derek said, “Stiles don’t you have something to do not here.”

“Yep,” Stiles said, “Um, something somewhere else.”

“Oh don’t leave, I’m going,” Talia said, kissing Derek on the cheek and hugging Stiles, “I’m glad you had pants on.”

“Me too.”

She left with another laugh, “Don’t just bring you mom over without warning! What if I hadn’t had pants on!”

“I didn’t think that far,” Derek said, tugging Stiles closer.

“I’ll ditch my pants now if you want,” Stiles said as Derek nipped at his ear, “Right now.”

“Do it,” Derek whispered, voice rough, all their embarrassment forgotten as they made their way to the bedroom leaving a trail of clothes behind them.
