but i never actually looked up a picture of him until recently

What about the RFA and Unknown and V finding out that MC has a career in the arts (author, artist, actor or something like that?) @saeranlover

Lol it’s been like 5,000 years since I’ve done a request, here you go bbies

Yoosung:

  • It was always a lingering thought in Yoosung’s mind
  • The thought always came randomly, but sometimes he swore that he  recognized your voice
  • Like the one time you yelled “Come at me!” at a friend who was teasing you and he just froze for a second to think about why it sounded familiar
  • It wasn’t until one day he was testing out a LOLOL character he’s never played before and she screamed out a line of dialogue before her attack
  • And suddenly he heard your voice behind him perfectly recreate the line
  • He turned around to see you cheekily grinning from your place on the bed
  • But it was wiped off your face soon enough because baby boi just pounced you into a big hug
  • “MC WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME YOU VOICED A CHARACTER IN LOLOL I WOULD’VE PLAYED AS HER MORE OFTEN IF I KNEW.”
  • You giggled as he rapidly asked you other things you voice acted in and gawked when he recognized the other characters you’ve voiced in games and cartoons
  • He’ll shyly ask you to reenact his favorite lines or scenes and his inner fanboy will show
  • Yoosung’s never really been into the behind the scenes stuff but he already somewhat was a fan of yours before so he’s basically dating his favorite VA
  • Silly lil’ peanut is gonna ask for your autograph on his merch of the characters you’ve voiced

Jaehee:

  • She found out during one of your nights in
  • You were in the kitchen preparing the snacks while Jaehee sorted through the set of musicals the two of you had rented for tonight (you finally convinced her that watching ‘Promiscuous Jalapeno’ for the 8th time in a row was a little much)
  • Once that was all said and done, you cuddled up to Jaehee while the movie started as she fed you popcorn
  • Oh crap, you recognized this movie
  • You actually got the part of the main dancer in this film (it was your typical dance batte film)
  • You somewhat never wanted her to find out  that you were an actor/dancer in fear of always being compared to Zen
  • Once your character was introduced, Jaehee’s eyes squinted a little at the screen before gasping and shaking your shoulders
  • “MC, MC, IS THAT YOU?”
  • “U-uhm nooooo…?”
  • “Wait, why would you keep this secret from me?”
  • After explaining your reasoning as to why, she just pulled you into a tight hug
  • “I’d never compare you anyone else, I love you just the way you are, famous or not!”
  • After watching the movie, she put aside the time to scour the internet for every performance you’ve been in and is about to be the proud owner of all your merch
  • jaehee please no that was our grocery money

Zen:

  • “lolol zen have you seen mc’s latest cover?”
  • “Cover? What’re you talking about?”
  • “the one on her youtube channel???”
  • “…”
  • “you do know what she does for a living, right??”
  • After Seven endlessly mocked Zen for not knowing what his own girlfriend did for a living, Seven graciously provided the link to your Youtube channel
  • Zen then proceeded to spend the next 3 hours of his life going through
  • your entire channel
  • He knew that you liked to sing and sounded like an angel but this
  • This is something extraordinary
  • You actually made a living doing this and he never even knew!
  •  He finally made his way up to your latest cover (which was uploaded about a week ago), and HO L Y  C R A P
  • It was the song he’s practiced at home for months on end for a musical he recently just starred in!
  • When you get home that night, you’re bombarded with compliments and questions (mostly compliments)
  • You explained that you never recorded around him because you were afraid that he might’ve thought you were going to use him for popularity
  • “Babe, I know you would never do that NOW WILL YOU PLEASE DUET WITH ME–”
  • Guess who has the best mashup cover of ‘Butterfly’ now

Jumin:

  • Coming home a few hours early was indeed a rare occurrence for Jumin
  • Usually when he came home, you were instantly there to greet him with a hug and kiss
  • He called your name, but there was no response, just a faint typing sound
  • After hanging his coat on the coat hanger, he began walking towards the noise, his hands already working on loosening his tie
  • “Ah, here you are, my love,” he said upon entering the officeroom
  • “Jumin, you’re home early,” you smiled, letting your husband wrap his arms around your shoulders and resting his chin atop your head
  • “The office had to close early for some renovations,” Jumin explained, “but I’m more interested in what you’re working on.”
  • “I’m working on my next book!”
  • The surprised look on his face made you remember that you never brought it up to him before, but now is as good as time as any to explain
  • Jumin seemed genuinely intrigued as he listened to your explanation on your book series, which was apparently very popular
  • When you finished, he asked if you could lend him the first addition, as he did enjoy reading in his spare time
  • And soon enough, he was hooked
  • He’d have long talks with you over dinner on how he wasn’t expecting a plot twist or how well you wrote your characters
  • Or about how you should hurry and finish the next book because you left him on a cliffhanger

707:

  • He’s known since the background check that you had a job in digital art but he tucked that away in the back of his head because there were too many other things happening at the time (eg the hacker, your sudden appearance, his emotions and job…)
  • It isn’t until one day where he’s been able to work for a few hours straight without you lecturing him about how he should take a break
  • So he got up from his chair, slapped his right leg a few times to wake it up, and ventured outside his office to find you
  • To no surprise, you were huddled inside in the bedroom, but this time with your drawing tablet in hand
  • “Hey Saeyoung,” you tiredly muttered, eyes still glued to the laptop screen
  • His eyes trailed to where you were looking and a look of mock hurt morphed on his face, “MC, how dare you draw a picture of another man!”
  • You stifled a laugh at your boyfriend’s dramatic tone, “Zen just asked me to draw some things for his website so I’m–”
  • You should me drawing me instead! Here, I’ll even pose for you!”
  • You regret even looking behind you, because Saeyoung was already stripping down to his boxers, need I remind you the pair with cat faces on them
  • “DRAW ME LIKE ONE OF YOUR FRENCH GIRLS.”
  • “SAEYOUNG PUT YOUR CLOTHES BACK ON AND GET TO BACK TO WORK!”

V:

  • Usually you were making some sort of noise in the house, but today you were oddly quiet
  • “MC? Where are you?”
  • “I’m in the living room,” you hollered back as he started making his way over, “Be careful not to bump my arm though.”
  • “What’re you doing?” he asked, taking a seat on the floor next to you
  • You explained that you liked paint and used it as a way to make some extra pocket money
  • V was very happy and excited to hear that you had an artistic career just like him
  • You were always delighted to describe the paintings to him, and you always did it with such passion
  • After awhile, he started to miss photography and he so badly wanted to see your work for himself
  • So he decided to get the eye surgery
  • Once he did, he was shocked at how much he can see your heart poured onto the canvas
  • You often went out into nature together and sit there together for hours to photograph/paint and enjoy one another’s company
  • You also loved painting some of V’s older photographs and he loved it and every single one is framed in the house
  • #artsycouple
  • The day you painted a picture of the sun and gave it to him, he cried

Unknown:

  • The first time Saeran ever walked into your room, his eyes immediately darted to the big, colorful collection of sticky note pads on your desk
  • He picked one up, noting that every one had a slightly different drawing than the others, “What’re these for?”
  • “Oh, I’m an animator! I like to use these sticky notes when I’m bored.”
  • He never got to watch cartoons as a child so this was all new to him
  • Watching you peacefully work is very, very soothing to him, to just watch the lines fill with color so smoothly
  • You even let him have some of your already drawn-on sticky note pads and he likes to flip through them when he’s nervous or needs to calm down when something’s bothering him
  • His favorite is the one you made for him where it goes “I love you, Saeran!” with a cute little doodle of a cartoony-looking you kissing his cheek on it
  • As mentioned before, he never got to watch cartoons or movies as a kid and he’s willing to watch the ones you’ve worked on
  • It always amazes him that you made what was on the screen and he loves it (he’s never said it out loud but it shows on his face)
  • He really enjoys the ones that are story-based rather than the nonsense slapstick ones (which is what Saeyoung enjoys, much to his dismay)
  • Seeing the childlike innocence in his eyes is heartwarming and you wouldn’t trade it for the world

A/N: Adele believes in trilogies, I believe in pentalogies. This is the fifth and final installment to Rotation (I mean it this time).

// Another Man’s Treasure // Mind on a Mission // Take the Lead // Worth the Pain //

Who knew the South of France could be boring?

Neither the wine nor the men, either the beaches or the crystal clear water could interest you. Your family knew something was up with you, your brother even attempting a heart-to-heart one night to pry deep into the corners of your mind to understand why you weren’t your happy, bubbly self. Even Harry’s family had taken notice, his sister struggling to get more than three word answers from you, either via text or in person, over the last few months.

But you stayed mum. You hadn’t much to say anyway. You’d done a lot of growing, a lot of thinking, since Harry had left you all alone.

If life were divided into chapters, the night he came round and the morning he left made for a very distinct Ending and Beginning.

Harry hadn’t been able to ignore you for much longer than a week. Not because of your persistence—no, you hadn’t reached out to him again since the day he all but vanished from your bed—but because guilt kept gnawing at his conscious every time he looked at his phone. He’d read all the texts—and saved them, too—stared at the missed call notifications, but he hadn’t brought himself to listen to the voicemail you’d left late that evening. He hadn’t mustered up the courage, and he was disgusted with himself for it.

So, with a deep breath, he listened to the message. Better a week late than never, right?

You were crying; well, sobbing was more accurate. You didn’t say anything at first, probably not realizing the recording had clicked on as you choked in search of air. Once you settled down, you laid into him with a few choice words—all of which he agreed with—but it wasn’t the name calling that stuck with him or the way you hoped to never see him again that plagued him with regret. It was your final word, your final question, that haunted him.

Why?

Because there were a million reasons why and none of them excused him for being such a dickhead. And that made him angry, very angry, because there weren’t many situations he found himself completely lost in, unable to navigate the waters, yet here he was drowning in your tears without a buoy or damn life preserver in sight.

So he called.

And, despite being in the library studying for an exam, you answered. You hesitated at first, the stitches holding together your heart pulling at the seams with the sight of his name and his face across your screen, but answered nonetheless.

“Hello?”

Heeey! Can you do a reaction about jealous BTS?

Sure thing! I’m gonna make it a “reaction to BTS’s girlfriends getting hit on” I’m so excited about these requests I’m getting from y’all  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I hope you like it!!

BTS: Reaction to their girlfriends getting hit on~Jealousy

♥ Jin: He thought today was the perfect day. No practice, no performing, just a beautiful day with his girlfriend whom he loved so much. You were all dressed up for him. He adored how beautiful you were, and he thought that he’d want to show you off to the world! That is, until people started looking. He heard the talking and he wasn’t gonna stand for that.

“(Y/n), let’s just go home. We’ll order to go.” Jin was clenching his fists and frowning. You looked in his eyes and giggled.

“Jinnie, I didn’t get ready for nothing. Plus, I haven’t been on an actual date with you in forever.” You gave him a pout he couldn’t resist. He took in a deep breath and sighed heavily.

“Whatever you say, beautiful girlfriend of mine.” He said loudly, causing the whole crowd to look at you.

♥ Yoongi: You needed to go shopping today, and your boyfriend who preferred sleep over shopping, decided to go with you. Why? Because he knew just how beautiful you were. He knew damn well other guys looked at you and tried to talk to you. He wouldn’t stand for it.

“Yoongi, I need underwear.” You stopped in front of Victoria’s Secret.

“No way, I’m not going in there.” He said while crossing his arms. He loved to see what you buy and what you wear for him, but he felt embarrassed about going in such a place.

“Fine, wait here.” You were a little gloomy about him not coming in with you. You walked in, and Yoongi heard boys talking next to him.

“Wow what a hottie. Let’s go get her.”

Yoongi quickly walked in after you. No wAy was he letting some other boy come close to you. He hugged you from behind, watching as your hands shifted through lingerie.

“Yoongi?” You tilted your head back to look at him. “You ok?”

“You’re never leaving the house again, that’s final.”

♥ Namjoon: You recently posted a picture of yourself on Instagram. It was a picture that made you feel confident. Not revealing, but Namjoon saw the end of the world when he thought of the comments that you would receive for being so cute. And shit was he right. He stalked that picture of yours (screen shotting it and setting it as his lock screen, of course). Suddenly, a comment popped up, saying “DM me.” He got heated and yelled at you in the kitchen from the living room.

“(Y/N)!!” He set his phone down and huffed heavily. You ran in, thinking something was wrong. Spatula in hand, and cute frilly apron on. His eyes grew soft when he saw you, and his voice got gentle. “Don’t listen to him. Don’t listen to boys. Look at me and only me. Delete your Instagram!” He pouted the cutest pout in the world. You loved his jealousy, it made you feel secure.

“Who are you talking about Namjoon?” You wondered what got him all started up.

“That boy… He commented on your picture…” He mumbled.

♥ Hoseok: His girlfriend was a model. (Y/n) was stunning, and she was the most beautiful girl in his eyes. He never thought he’d have an issue with jealousy, until he saw other male models and singers go after her. He kept quiet about it for a while, because he trusted you. And he did the right thing to trust you. You turned down any man that tried to talk to you because you were loyal to Hobi, and he was grateful for that.

But when you got the lead part of a drama, and you were told you had a kiss scene, he lost his shit. He stood in front of the guy you’d be kissing, giving all the attitude he contained.

“That’s my princess. If your filthy lips touch hers I’ll make sure you’re never able to kiss anyone again.” He said with no hesitation.

♥ Jimin: He angrily watched as his best friends hands touched all over his girls body. Why was this happening? It was all for show. For the MV they were working on. The producers thought it would be fun if (Y/n) ended up with someone that wasn’t her actual boyfriend, and oh boy did Jimin hate it. He’s never wanted to strangle Taehyung so badly. He knew it wasn’t his fault but he couldn’t help the way he felt.

When the scene was over, you walked over to Jimin with a smile. “Are you ok? You look really mad…” You couldn’t stop smiling because you knew he was jealous, and it was super cute to you.

“Ok? Ok?!” He spoke in his accent, a turn on for you. “I don’t like this. (Y/n), you’re not gonna be in the MV anymore. We’ll get another girl to play the part.” He watched for your reaction with intense, dangerous eyes that wouldn’t allow you to reject.

♥ Taehyung: He knew it was just work. Taehyung has been dealing with this crap for over 2 years now and he reached his peek. He came to meetings with you even if he was busy, because he knew there was a man with hungry eyes, watching your every move.

Taehyung was very calm when it came to his jealousy. He was very afraid to lose you though. As he sat with you in your meeting, he eyed the man shamelessly, embarrassing you a little. You asked him to stop but he’d just brush you off. When the meeting was over, you grabbed Tae’s cheeks and kissed him gently.

“Do you think I’d go for a jerk like that. Look at me, I love YOU TaeTae.” You smiled gently. He licked his lips nervously and looked down, biting his lip gently after.

“I hope so…”

♥ Jungkook: Jungkook knew his jealousy was getting the best of him, but he couldn’t help but take it out on you. Your ex from many years back decided to text you to ask you out on a coffee date to catch up. “How does he have your number?”

“Jungkookie, I haven’t changed my number since I was 14, of course he still has it.” You whined softly. You were on the brink of tears. “He texted me Kookie, don’t be mad at me. I didn’t even text him back…”

Jungkook heavily sighed and clenched his fists. He held his hand out. “Phone.” He demanded, and you gave it to him. He started furiously typing away, telling that boy off. He handed it back to you and tried to stay calm. “If he replies, block him.”

Long Lost Love

Pairing: Kai x Reader

Warnings: None

Word Count: 1423

PART TWO | PART THREE (coming soon!)

Malachai Parker.

The sociopath that all of your friends despise. He has manipulated and killed a handful of people here and there, but there was this one person on earth that tamed him after all of this time. You.

You basically had him wrapped around your finger the day he fell for you. At first, you weren’t attracted to him at all because your group of friends drew him out as a murderer, which he technically was, but overtime, he grew on you. Kai knew he had to have you when he first met you and that’s exactly what he accomplished.

You and your boyfriend had a talk and agreed on leaving Mystic Falls to start a new life together. You felt that a going away party wasn’t needed, although Caroline would love to plan it. So your plan was to just leave this godforsaken town and text your friends about it once you were miles away.

Alaric & Jo’s wedding day is today, but you chose to skip it since it made things complicating since you’re with Kai. Not to mention, Kai’s even attempted to kill Jo once or twice.

You had a few personal items left to pack, which wasn’t going to take more than an hour. Kai said he had to take care of a few things before the two of you head out on the road to your new beginning.

An hour passes and you’re now wondering where your boyfriend is. He said it wouldn’t take long, so you took his word for it. After 5 unanswered calls you started to get worried so you tracked his phone and drove to wherever it is located.

After driving around for 15 minutes, you arrive at a chapel. “What the hell?” You questioned as you parked, looking back and forth from your phone and the front of the chapel. Then finally, it came to you and you felt nothing but hurt and disgust. Kai is here to kill Jo.

“Oh my god.” You threw your phone on the passenger seat and hurried out of the car. You noticed the shattered glass surrounding the building.

There was an ounce of hope that you could get to your boyfriend on time to stop him. “Kai!” You screamed his name as tears streamed down your cheeks. Your hopes for starting a better life with your boyfriend was instantly crushed thanks to him. He just couldn’t help himself.

“Kai!” You called his name once again. Arriving inside the chapel, you see nothing but dead bodies and destruction everywhere. This was obviously Kai’s doing. “No no no no. This can’t be happening.” You we’re so close to having a panic attack.

Finally, you find Kai with blood on his face and all over his clothes. There was a devilish smile plastered all over his face from the evil he has done.

You also noticed that he was talking to Bonnie who was laying on the floor, looking as if she is fighting for her life. Normally, you would run to your friend to help her, but you were so distraught about everything that happened that your feet were glued to the floor.

“Kai! What have you done?!” You cried out, cutting Kai off from whatever he was saying to Bonnie.

You immediately got Kai’s attention, but Bonnie was still struggling on the floor that she slowly turned her head to look at you. Kai’s devilish smile was instantly gone and it turned into guilt. He had high hopes that he was going to get away with this. “Shit.” He mouthed to himself.

“Baby. I can explain.” Kai pleaded, slowly putting his hands up in defense.

“Explain?!” You yelled out in frustration.

Out of the blue, you see Damon vampire speed up to Kai and chops of his head with his bare hand.

And that’s when everything around you just stops. “Oh my god.” You said, then ran over to your boyfriend’s dead body. “Damon why?!” Even though Kai is responsible for all of these deaths and destruction, you couldn’t help but ask.

“You’re kidding me, Y/N?” Damon asked after he fed vampire blood to Bonnie.

You laid your head on Kai’s chest and just cried. Damon felt no remorse for you and left with Bonnie.

“You fucking bastard. How could you?!” You yelled at Kai even though you were aware that he’s 100% dead. After everything that you have been through with him and the assumptions that he was a changed man, he had to throw it all away. You didn’t even bother giving Kai and the other dead bodies a proper burial. Instead, you lit the entire building on fire.

(Days later…)

Pain. Pain is all you’ve felt these past few days. So many unanswered questions had flooded your mind.

You couldn’t live with the pain any longer and all Mystic Falls did was remind you of your dead boyfriend. Damon even offered to compel you to forget about Kai, but you didn’t want to cheat, you just couldn’t. So instead, you moved away to live with your relatives in New Orleans.

It didn’t occur to you at first that New Orleans is where Klaus and Elijah had moved to. You also recently found out that Tyler’s friend, Hayley had a baby with Klaus and supposedly has a thing with Elijah. But as complicating as the Mikaelson family is, you surprisingly grew close to them, especially to Kol, who you thought was dead at first, but he informed you that his best friend, Davina helped bring him back.

Aside from being reunited with his family, Kol felt like he had no real purpose after he was brought back to life, until he eventually connected with you. It’s ironic because your very own friends killed him in the first place, but you even informed him that you had nothing to do with his death and actually had no idea that Elena and Jeremy planned it. “What’s done is done, dear Y/N. All that matters now is being here with you.” Kol had once told you. Luckily, time heals all wounds.

Since you were far far away from Mystic Falls and have no intentions on going back, you didn’t care to update your friends that you and Kol Mikaelson are now an item. Your ex boyfriend, Kai did cross your mind every now and then, but as time went on, you thought about him less and less.

(Years later…)

The longer you were away from Mystic Falls, the less often you and your friends kept in touch. It was fine with you because they have their own lives going on and you have yours being utterly happy with the life you have with Kol.

Something you weren’t aware of was the madness going on in Mystic Falls about the devil in the flesh named, Cade terrorizing the souls of Damon and Stefan.

There also had been all sorts of nonsense going on with Kol’s siblings and the patrons of New Orleans, but the two of you always stayed out of it. Even Rebekah kept her distance from it all.

You and your boyfriend spent your years together traveling around the world. Since he has been around for over 1000 years, money was never the issue.

Although traveling was simply amazing, you made sure to make stops and stick around New Orleans for a few weeks because the constant flying made you miss being on land.

*Meanwhile in Mystic Falls*

Damon and Alaric were inside the cave so that Damon could show Alaric the weapon that could possibly destroy Cade. As Damon was chit chatting about all of his knowledge and suggesting to exchange half-assed apologizes, a very familiar figure disrupts. That very figure was the heretic himself, Malachai Parker.

“Yeah sorry to interrupt, but someone please tell me where my baby girl is.” Kai announced. Alaric looked like he’d seen a ghost and Damon shot him a glare.

Supposedly, Kai was released from hell after the 11th bell was rung and all he could think about was getting to you. His feelings for you never changed. What he didn’t know is that you’ve already moved on with someone else.

There was no way your friends dared to tell Kai your exact whereabouts because they’d rather see you continue your life without Kai in the picture, no matter how happy he used to make you.

But since Kai is a heretic and all, he used a locator spell to come and find you, no matter the distance.

Tae and Jimin in “Spring day”

You can take this as a theory or as an AU

According to Blood Sweat and Tears, Tae shouldn’t be human. So we know, he’s probably not really there with bts and that the whole motel scene is probably just a memory.

Now I don’t exactly know what Taehyung is, but he’s different from the rest of the boys. And so is Jimin.

I want to go out on a limb here and say that since Jimin’s character seems a lot more gentle and reassuring, then maybe Jimin is an angel. That’s describing his natural nature. (If you scratch out when he was “tempted” in Lie.) He’s a creature like Tae but also not the same. They could possibly be beings that linger around bts.

~I saw Gray post this on his snapchat (graysondolan) and got inspired to write a cute lil blurb. This is the first thing I’ve written about Grayson, so I’m pretty excited. It’s just off the top of my head. I hope you enjoy!! :)

As always, please forgive any mistakes you might see.

**(No warnings. Just a lil fluff is all. xx)**

I’m actually gonna kill him,” you mumbled to yourself as you swatted another mosquito invading your personal space. All you wanted was to locate your best friend and get to the bottom of his weird behavior without being attacked by insects every thirty seconds.

He’d been acting so strange the past couple days and neither you, nor his twin brother could pinpoint exactly why. He seemed too far lodged in his head; alone with his cyclone of thoughts. Grayson was never one to wear his heart on his sleeve per say, but he never did develop the toxic habit of shutting you or Ethan out when he wasn’t feeling one hundred percent himself. You desperately wanted to help your best friend, which is why you immediately jumped in the car to find him when you saw the recent addition to his Snapchat story captioned, “Thinkin spot”. You knew exactly where it was, having been there yourself many times.

Parallel Lines Who Meet, LMM/Reader

Prompt: Loosely based off of Stephen Sondheim’s musical ‘Company’.

Words: 2,042

Author’s Note: With a midnight re-watch of my first favorite musical, Company, I was inspired to write something loosely inspired by it. Lin is Bobby in this scenario. Ish. If you don’t have the time to sit and watch this lovely production (which includes great stars, like Stephen Colbert!), I recommend at the very least listening to ‘Being Alive’ and ‘Someone is Waiting’’.

Warnings: Negative talk of marriage, divorce. 2k words of me rambling and nothing really happening.

Happy birthday, Lin!” The group cheered in unison.

The man of the hour stood at the entrance of his apartment, looking on at the scattered party guests, each holding the hand of their significant other. He had been running late for the party in his honor - something that had been intended as a surprise but that he had known about for weeks.

“Thirty-five! You don’t look it!” Pippa cried, lingering by the gift table. She placed a pristine, wrapped box next to the dozen others, “You can return it. I mean, what do you get for the man that has everything?”

“Maybe a wife?” Teased Steven by her side, a giggle escaping his fiancee. Her ring glittered in the dimly lit room as she moved to cover her mouth.

“I better-” Lin pointed the guests all anxiously waiting for their turn with the birthday boy.

“Go, we won’t keep you.”

He was delivered boxed compliments all night, perfectly prepared ahead of time. Thirty-five and you’ve accomplished so much! Thirty-five and you look thirty-two! Thirty-five and look at where you are!

Where he was indeed.

You never liked hospitals so you tried to stay far away from them as possible. If you did get sick you would suck it up for a few days until your illness passed. Though, as fate would have it, you ended up in the building you hated. You were taking a cab home when a car pulled out too quickly hitting your side of the cab. No major injuries but you needed surgery to repair a ligament in your leg that tore in the crash.

Your mom, however, didn’t have that kind of money or at least you though she didn’t. When she instantly had enough money, you grew curious. Your mom could never hold a job for long and the jobs she did find weren’t high paying. When you asked her, she just brushed you off telling you that this was a discussion for later. You knew too well that she wasn’t going to bring it up unless she had to.

So now, here you were sitting in your hospital room alone while your mom goes out and parties with of few of her friends. Ever since you could remember, your mom always put partying before you. She rather get drunk or high with a few of her stoner friends than ever care about your well being. You couldn’t just leave even if you wanted to. Though she was a pain in the ass, you had nowhere to go. You never met your dad and he was probably just as bad as her.

What dampened your mood, even more, was that fact that you had to keep off your leg which meant you were trapped with your mother. You sighed sadly flipping through tv channels wishing you didn’t get in that cab so you wouldn’t be in this situation. Zoning out a bit, you didn’t notice someone was knocking on your door until you saw someone pop their head it.

“Miss (Y/L/N)?” A woman said as you sat up if your hospital bed.

“Yes,” You answered quietly trying to figure out who this lady was.

“I’m Mrs. Reynolds and I work with social services. I wanted to talk to you privately, your mother has already been informed.” She said as your blood ran cold. They were going to take you away and put you in the foster care system - something you did not want to end up in. “Miss?”

“O-Oh that’s fine,” You began clearing your throat, “What do you need to talk about?”

“Your mother recently reached out to your father when you needed surgery and he would like to meet you. He’s a persistent man so he’s currently waiting outside of your room. I wanted to make sure you were ok with this before I send him in.”

You stared at the women blankly as you tried to wrap your head around what was happening. Your father after fourteen years wanted to meet you. You always wondered what he looked like but your mom never kept any pictures of him. She didn’t even tell you his name after asking her many times. But here you were about to meet the man you always thought about. Nodding quietly you prepare yourself for the worst as Mrs. Reynolds leaned out into the hall summoning him in.

You expected a nobody, someone who either had no idea you existed or just now realized he made a mistake. But your were dead wrong, instead walked in someone you immediately recognized. It was Tony Stark, Tony freaking Stark. Your mouth dropped in shock as you stared at the man claiming to be your father.

“So (Y/N) right?” He said sticking his hands in his pockets unsure what to do next.

“Wait is this a joke? How? I mean, I know how but it’s been-”

“I know fourteen years. To be honest I didn’t know you existed until your mother randomly called me asking me for money.”

“Oh,” You quietly said trying to process everything.

“How’s the leg? I heard it wasn’t serious but surgery is surgery.”

“It’s ok,” You answered unsure how to act around Tony.

Watching him sigh, he walked closer to bed trying to think what to say next. He seemed just unsure of you as you were of him. You didn’t know why he even bothered to come, he missed most of your life already and now after one phone call, he’s here. Still, you were grateful he actually was a good person than some druggy who couldn’t get his life together.

“Look I know this is awkward,” He sighed looking at your uncomfortable posture. “But I don’t want to leave this room and not see you again.”

“Me too.”

“Well then let’s start this off right,” He spoke excitedly extending his hand out to you. “I’m Tony and your name is?”

“(Y/N),” You replied with a small smile on your face.

And that was a start to a new beginning.

Three months later you were still visiting your father often but instead of taking a cab there, he made his driver Happy take you to him. After the cab incident, he made sure you didn’t have to ride with anyone else but Happy. Life was good for the most part, your mother was the same but you could tell she didn’t like you hanging around your dad.

He was pretty clear that she wouldn’t get a dime out of him unless it was for you. Once she heard that, she started taking her anger out on you. Your mom still had full custody and every night she would threaten to stop you from seeing your father. You had to beg her just to go see him even if it was an hour or two, just to get out of the house and away from her.

You wanted to tell your dad what your mom was like but you knew he didn’t want to fully adopt you. He was an Avenger and billionaire, he didn’t want some kid ruining his style. So you kept your mouth shut and enjoyed the time you had with him. That, of course, didn’t make this easier on you at all.

“W-Where are you going?!” Your mother slurred as her friends started to snort random drugs. “You know I don’t like you leaving when we have guests!” She was definitely high from whatever she was smoking. Your mom couldn’t function like an actual person when she was like this and that scared you.

“D-Dad’s,” You whispered as her face turned to rage. “I-I’m sorry I-I’ll go back to my room.” You ran quickly as your mother continued to scream from behind you. Slamming the door, you quickly locked it as she banged loudly against it.

Sending your father a text that you couldn’t make it because of homework, you slid down to the floor trying to calm your breathing. Eventually, the banging stopped but you were too afraid to move from your spot.

Tony sighed reading the text you just send as he ate a handful of blueberries. He had a bad feeling that something else was happening back at your place. He knew your mother and she wasn’t as stable as she thought she was. Though he couldn’t just take you away from her, she still had full custody. This was something that he was going change.

He called a lawyer down beforehand to try to get custody and today he was going to ask you if you were ok with him proceeding with it. Tony was going to try and ask your mother first before trying to take this to court. He was even ready to offer her some form of money just to get you away from her.

You never mentioned how horrible your mother was to him but he had a feeling when you kept showing up with a few bruises every now and then. So when you said you couldn’t make it, he knew something was definitely wrong. Without even thinking, he was out the door with his lawyer ready to finally get you away from that hellhole.

Even after three months, he never actually saw where you lived. Happy always picked you up a corner farther away from your house. Your apartment was definitely not what he expected it to look like when he pulled out front. Some windows were boarded over while some were just broken. The roof looked old along with the cracked brick covering the apartment complex. Walking into the building was whole other story.

The smell was awful and you could hear bricking a few doors down. The wallpaper was peeling and the ceiling was littered with water stains. Tony knew more than ever, that he needed to get you out of here. When he arrived at your door, he knocked only for the door to slightly open. Pushing the door open and walking into the apartment, he called out to your mom.

When he got no answer, Tony walked further into the room, only to find your mom and her friends passed out surrounded by empty beer bottles and drugs. Without even glancing at his lawyer, Tony watched as his friend pulled out his cell phone to contact the police. Now all was left to do was find you and get you out of here. Stepping over a few bottles, he made his way over to the hall where he heard a few sobs coming from behind a door. Realizing that was you, he tried to open it only to find that it was locked.

“Leave me alone,” You whimpered.

“(Y/N), it’s me. Open the door,” He said hoping nothing happened to you.

Tony heard shuffling behind the door before he heard the lock quickly turning. Then the door flew open as you jump straight into his arms. You started crying harder finally letting out all the emotions you bottled up. Wrapping his arms tightly around you, he made sure you felt safe.

“Shhh, I got you, I got you.”

Once your breathing calmed down, you wiped your tears away before hugging your dad once more. “M-My mom,” You hiccuped as tears started to form again.

“Don’t worry, I got her taken care of. Let’s go back to my place ok?” He said as you nodded following his lead.

Once the two of you were back at the tower you were still shaken up but you managed to calm yourself enough to explain what happened to your father. He knew you didn’t want to cause any trouble but you were clearly not in a good environment.

“You’re not going back there,” Tony said feeling the anger boil in him. “I won’t let you, that women will not be coming near you again.”

“But she still has full-”

“Not for long. I have my best lawyers working on it, she won’t come near you again. And after than stunt she pulled today she won’t have a case.”

“Really?” You asked as he nodded. You smiled widely as you jumped up from your spot and hugged him tightly. “Thank you, dad. I glad I tore a ligament that day.”

“Me too kid, me too.”

At the end of the day, you knew your father was there for you and would project you no matter what. After fourteen years with your mother, you finally felt safe and found a place where you could call home.

Summary: For the seven months following your breakup, you’ve kept your pregnancy a secret from Spencer, unsure of how he would react. But when the two of you are unexpectedly forced to see each other again, it doesn’t take long for your growing secret to reveal itself. Requested by a lovely anon!

A/N: This is based around season 6 and 7, so there may be some spoilers if you haven’t seen those seaons yet. Other than that, I hope you enjoy and let me know what you think!

For the first time in three hours, a calm silence had fallen over your apartment.

The fraying copy of “Goodnight Moon” that Henry had picked out was long forgotten as his blue eyes finally gave into the sleep that he had been fighting for so long.

Reveling in your ability to lull the rambunctious toddler to sleep, you placed a gentle kiss on his forehead before carefully removing yourself from the guest bed where he lay — all the while making a mental note to give JJ kudos on how she manages to do it every single night.

Leaving the bedroom door open just a crack, you took a moment to enjoy the still of the atmosphere and out of habit, placed a hand on your ever-growing baby bump.

All night long you had found yourself laughing right along with every little giggle that Henry exuded, and adoring the many colorful drawings that he had created for your refrigerator door. The seemingly permanent smile you wore was in part due to the inherent joy that came with babysitting Henry, and the other half due to the thought that one day, you would be going through the exact same motions with your own child.

But yet, with every bright vision of the future you had, came with it a storm of anxious thoughts.

Seven months ago, the home you had built within the bounds of Spencer’s love began to crumble.

With his rising panic of developing schizophrenia and then the grief he was overcome with after the death of Emily, you watched in agony as Spencer did his best to conceal the crumbling state of his mind from you. It wasn’t until one night, when the demons of his mind became too much to bear, that he confessed to you his contemplation of relapsing. That night ended in heartache, as Spencer’s broken voice ended your relationship, only wanting to protect you from the danger he believed to potentially possess.

But unbeknownst to either you or Spencer at the time, you were not the only ones left in the wake of your fallen love.

How about NDRV3 boys making their s/o laugh so hard tears come out? Like, what would they do to make them laugh? Thank you!

Sorry this took so long, friendo. But I know for a fact that you’ll enjoy it.

Korekiyo Shinguuji

  • He stands in front of you with his voice as even and calming as ever
  • He’s telling you about youkai that are basically objects that come to life after neglect
  • The stories about the sentient futon and lantern are pretty cool
  • Then he tells you a youkai that’s basically a dude with a lute for a head
  • You start holding back a laugh
  • Then he tells you about umbrellas that come to life with a completely straight face
  • All they do is hop around and try to scare people
  • You start giggling and ask if he has any pictures of them
  • Surprisingly, he pulls out a little black notebook
  • On the corners of note pages, you occasionally see silly and crudely drawn umbrellas with single eyes and a tongue sticking out at you
  • Just the mental image of Shinguuji drawing these…
  • You burst out laughing
  • He looks incredibly confused and asks you what’s so funny
  • This only causes you to laugh harder every time he asks
  • He eventually gets you a phone charm that looks like one

Rantarou Amami

  • Now Amami may seem smooth
  • But you’ve witnessed those far and few between moments where he messes up
  • One time in particular, he offered to show you a movie
  • When you asked him what kind, he started listing them out
  • Action, comedy, drama, horra-

  • “Excuse me,” he said, “ho-were-
  • …That’s not it either.
  • He spends the next eight minutes trying to say it correctly
  • But the longer he goes on, the less like a word it becomes
  • You were already laughing after the first attempt but now you’re struggling for breath
  • His face is bright red nearly the whole time
  • Eventually he just gives up and blurts out “A scary movie, okay? A scary movie.
  • You two never really talk about it but it just sort of became an inside joke
  • Now you occasionally mispronounce the word “horror” on purpose just to see the look on his face

Kokichi Ouma

  • Now, he’s always cracks jokes at you so you’re used to his humor
  • But recently he’s started this little habit of naming things
  • It was something cutesy that made you giggle so he kept doing it
  • It reached a peak one day while the two of you were sitting on the couch
  • One second he’s eating grapes
  • The next you hear an overdramatic “JUNIOR NO”
  • Your head snaps over to see Ouma almost jump off the couch to catch the grapes that somehow slipped from his grasp
  • You just burst out laughing
  • Your boyfriend, a supreme leader, is fumbling to make sure his grapes don’t hit the floor
  • When they do, he has exaggerated tears
  • And you start laughing harder until you have tears in your eyes too
  • He looks almost offended
  • How dare you laugh over the death of Junior, you monster
  • You pause in your laughter long enough to remind him that he was going to eat “Junior” anyways
  • He just kinda goes “Oh yeah”, remembers the five second rule, and eats the grapes

Shuuichi Saihara

  • Now, your boyfriend isn’t really one to yell
  • He gets easily exasperated, sure, but he rarely gets angry
  • So you weren’t expecting much when you decided to show him this terrible movie
  • He did his usual routine he did when he watched movies
  • He deduced them and snarked at them to the point where even a three-year-old could tell who the villain was
  • But then the actual reveal happened
  • He paused the movie and got up
  • He took in a deep breath
  • WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!
  • He flew into a rant that had him pacing around the room and flailing his hands
  • Because that is not how you mystery, movie, that is not
  • You barely register a word of it because you’re on the floor laughing

Kaito Momota

  • Seeing him with bedhead is still, hands down, the funniest thing you’ve ever seen.

Kiibo

  • You two still aren’t quite sure of how it happened
  • You were just taking a walk
  • Then Kiibo tripped over air and fell face-first into the ground
  • His whole posture was stiff and his feet were still up in the air
  • You feel bad about it but you burst out laughing
  • Because when’s the next time you’re going to see a robot faceplant directly into the grass
  • He gets up on his hands and knees to get off the ground
  • You notice the flowers stuck to his hair and start laughing harder
  • He almost pouts at you and tells you that it’s not funny!
  • But eventually your laughter infects him and he starts chuckling along with you
  • He’s a bit more cautious on walks now

Gonta Gokuhara

  • Gonta isn’t quite sure how he ended up like this???
  • Gonta was sure that he was running late
  • And now he’s locked in the room an hour early?
  • While Gonta’s glad that he can see you through the glass
  • And he’s really glad that he could make you laugh this hard…
  • Could you please stop laughing long enough to help Gonta get out?

Ryouma Hoshi

  • You were just playing Metal Gear Solid when he came in
  • He sat down beside you and said something
  • Then Snake said something
  • That’s when you notice and giggle
  • He starts blushing and asks
  • “What? Did I say something funny?”
  • Almost immediately after, you hear another voice clip from Snake
  • You laugh harder
  • He starts getting frustrated until it finally clicks
  • Wow does he sound like Snake
  • He says one of Snake’s lines with as much enthusiasm as he can for you
  • He’s still not over it either

The library was quiet. Not that you minded; being around noise all the time tired you out. If you weren’t surrounded by Jungkook’s incessant enthusiasm, you had Hoseok and Yoongi squabbling in your ear. If Taehyung stopped talking for two seconds, Jin and Namjoon managed to fill up the silence just by being in the same room together. Even your home wasn’t quiet, as although Yeona and Jiwon still weren’t talkative, Mijung made it up for the both of them. You’d decided to visit the library on campus while classes were running, so you were certain that there would be only a few people in there.

Scanning through the books, you pulled out a hefty volume that was written in English, the gold lettering on the spine attracting you. However, you were not prepared to see a very familiar face staring at you on the other side of the bookshelf, and in shock, you dropped the large book onto the floor. Wincing at the noise, you gave Jungkook a disapproving look, ignoring the funny face he was pulling to make you laugh.

“Y/N!” he sang happily. “What a surprise to see you-”

Not missing a beat, you picked up the fallen book and shoved it back into place, cutting off his words and blocking him from view. You heard him whine disappointingly, causing a small smile of satisfaction to tug at your lips.  Continuing to scan the books as if nothing happened, you walked further down the aisle, trying to find the exact title you had been instructed to reference for a report due in the next week. You were so concentrated that you failed to notice a book at eye level slipping off the shelf of its own accord until it was too late. As another heavy hardback clapped onto the floor, you jumped backwards in fright.

Looking through the gap that had been created, you came face-to-face Jungkook once more, who still made the same stupid expression that was supposed to make you laugh, but you still didn’t crack a smile.

“Jungkook!” you scolded, aware of the inquisitive looks you were receiving from the other people in the library.

“We need to talk.”

You let yourself consider his words, trying to come up with a nice way of turning him down, but you couldn’t think of anything. A serious chat was not on your itinerary that day.

“Talk about what?” you asked innocently, batting your eyelids at the brown-haired boy.

“About getting over Taehyung. I think…”

Bending down again, you picked up the second book and shoved it back into place. Jungkook was too eager for you to ‘move on’, and although you accepted his help, you didn’t realise how persistent he was going to be.

“You need to distract yourself!” came Jungkook’s voice from the other side of the shelf.

“I’ve already tried that,” you said louder than you had intended, causing everyone in the vicinity to turn around and stare in your direction. “I’ve already tried that,” you repeated, quieter this time, but gritting your teeth in exasperation.

Jungkook went quiet again, and you could picture him biting his lip as he chose his next words. Despite his big plans of helping you, he’d not brought up the Taehyung topic for a few days, letting your mind wonder what sort of bizarre ideas Jungkook was conjuring up. “But you have me this time,” he eventually called out softly.

“Great.”

Turning away to the shelf behind you and shuffling your feet to signal that the conversation was over, you ran your fingers along the spines, although you knew the book you were looking for wasn’t even on that shelf. It’s not as if you didn’t appreciate Jungkook’s efforts; in fact, you were touched that he was willing to go to that much trouble to make you feel better. But your heart and mind still remained loyal to Taehyung. Jungkook made you laugh and was a gentleman towards you, but you connected with Taehyung on a deeper level. He’d seen you when you were screaming and crying and angry and terrified, yet somehow, he still managed to make you forget all about it after five minutes. There was an understanding that you didn’t have with anyone else.

Jungkook, however, was unaware of this, and before you knew it, he’d come down your aisle and tried again with the funny face, his head appearing in front of the random book you had begun to read. This time, you couldn’t help giggling at the way his mouth twisted and his eyes rolled upwards, but you shook your head at the same time to show your objections.

“You’re so lame,” you muttered, pushing him away and pretending to swat him with a book.

Yah, I’m trying to do you a favour!”

You bristled a little at his tone. “Jungkook, I’m trying to get some work done. Tell me what you want to say before I actually hit you.”

“You need to wean yourself off Taehyung,” he said proudly, as if he’d come up with the perfect solution to all your problems. Was that the best he could do?

“Wean?” you choked out. “Wean? I’m not a puppy!”

Jungkook ignored your protests. “Put your time into other things until this whole thing has calmed down. You don’t have to completely get him out your life, but slowly detach yourself until you can spend time away from him without overthinking.”

“Whole thing, as in why-Yeji-is-actually-dating-Taehyung thing? Plus, you’re making it sound like I have a problem. Which I don’t, by the way,” you grumbled, “so stop with the ‘weaning’ talk.”

“Well, you clearly haven’t said anything to him about Yeji, so I guess you’re not planning to ever tell him.”

“Their relationship isn’t my business. I also made it sound like I had no idea Taehyung went to the market, so I’m not supposed to have talked to Jimin either.”

“Exactly,” beamed Jungkook, flicking his hair out of his eyes and giving you a toothy grin. “His business is his business. Therefore, focus on your own business.”

Jungkook was like Taehyung in many ways, because they both liked to wind you up and push your buttons. But one key difference was that Taehyung knew when you were in the right mood for a bit of teasing, whereas Jungkook didn’t. And you weren’t in the mood.

“Jungkook, you’re not making any sense,” you hissed, and this time someone shushed you in annoyance at your growing volume. You both looked round at the disruption, but when you turned back, you quietened your voice in consideration. “So, what are you suggesting I do? I don’t want you to get hurt in this, either.”

He looked taken aback that you were considering his emotions, but he didn’t make you elaborate. Jungkook never talked about his feelings, which is why you always believed he was closed off and secretive. Instead of questioning why, you simply forced yourself to get used to it. “Just… put your focus in other things. The first round of the dance competition is in a few days, do you remember?”

Of course you remembered. On top of everything else, the audition for the competition was looming closer, and you’d been practising every day with or without Jungkook and getting your strength up while trying to remain flexible. The first round was so that you could take part in the show, as there were a lot of entrants and only a few spaces available in the actual performance. This was the make or break round, because if you didn’t make it into the show, all your hard work would’ve been for nothing. The prize money still looked appealing, but the competition meant something more than that now. It would prove that sometimes, hard work does pay off and you’re not always trying when there’s only false hope. Like when you try for Taehyung.

But you didn’t tell Jungkook of your worries. He had complete confidence in his dancing abilities, so you allowed that courage and self-assurance to leech into you as you spoke. “Don’t worry, we’ve got this in the bag,” you nodded confidently.

“We need to practice more,” Jungkook replied bluntly, giving you a hard look.

You simply frowned. “What? But we’ve been practicing so much this week! I think my legs are about to fall off because I’ve been jumping around so much. Also, I barely have time to study because of this, so I couldn’t practice more if I tried.” You were aware that your whispering was getting louder, but Jungkook was fuelling your irritation. More and more people were turning around at the pair of you, their pens hovering above paper as they watched the drama unfold.

“Y/N, there’s always room for-”

Luckily, Jungkook didn’t get to finish his sentence, because if he did, you were certain you would’ve knocked him out with a book. But unfortunately, it was the sound of your phones ringing that cut him off, both your ringtones echoing loudly around the library. You felt dread form in the pit of your stomach and you saw one of the librarians appear at the end of your aisle, their face stony.

“Run,” muttered Jungkook, and he grabbed your hand and pulled you in the opposite direction of the librarian. You heard her shout angrily, but Jungkook was fast and, half dragging you behind him, and you were out of the library in no time, your phones still going off. There was something exhilarating about running away from the various staff members, and you caught yourself grinning at the absurdness of it all. Jungkook, too, was smiling widely.

Checking the caller ID of your phones, neither of you were surprised to see Hoseok and Yoongi’s names flashing up on the screen.

With the embarrassment fading as well as your annoyance, you evened out your breathing before answering Hoseok’s call. “Hoseok, everything okay?”

“Y/N! I thought you would never answer,” came his panicked voice, far from his usual bouncy tone. “Can you do me a massive favour and come over to the shop? I need your help.”

You looked up at Jungkook who was on the phone to Yoongi, and it seemed that Yoongi was also delivering the same distressed message, as Jungkook’s eyebrows had disappeared into his hairline in bewilderment.

“Okay, I’ll be right there.”

“I’ll start walking now,” said Jungkook, also ending his call.

Arriving at Cake Corner, you immediately understood why Hosoek was so worried. Every inch of the place was covered in sponge and cream, from the windows to the stained cushions. It looked like a bomb had gone off, but you couldn’t help noticing how the pastel colours added highlights to the café. However, you didn’t tell Hoseok or Yoongi of your observations, because their faces looked stricken and frail as they gaped at the mess, and telling them it looked pretty wasn’t going to help the situation.

“What happened here?” questioned Jungkook, his eyes wide.

“Kids,” was all Yoongi said, using a dustpan and brush to get rid of the remains of cake.

“Some parents decided to bring the children’s birthday party in here,” Hoseok explained, “and there were only two parents supervising. Yoongi and I were in the storage room for a couple of minutes, but when we came back, they were already in the middle of a food fight.”

“Scared all the customers away,” Yoongi grumbled, ruffling his black hair as he glanced around, overwhelmed by the mess. “We’ve got our manager coming around at 8pm to do some stock checking, so this has got to be gone by the time he gets here, otherwise we’ll be sacked.”

“There’s always supposed to be one of us on the till at all times, and if he checks the cameras, he’ll know that neither of us were there.”

You and Jungkook nodded, still slightly in awe at how much devastation a few kids could make. “Don’t worry, we’ll help,” you assured, nudging Jungkook out of his stupor with your elbow, urging him to agree.

Hoseok bounded over and gave you a firm hug in gratitude, with Yoongi sighing in relief. Quickly getting to work, Hoseok paired up with you to work on getting the cushions the right colour, while Jungkook and Yoongi were on the other side of the room sorting out the windows and floor. However, Hoseok must have regretted his decision pretty quickly, as you leapt at the chance to complain about your earlier conversation with Jungkook.

“…it’s not like I need to stay away from Taehyung, he just wants me to. That’s not the same thing, right? I know I’m taking this way too far but I can keep my distance from him when I want to, and I don’t need to be trained, like a dog may I add, to do so. Plus, he was going on about having more practice for the first audition? You’ve seen me in that dance room. I practically live there now. I’m perfectly good at dancing, thank you very much, and I’ve got this routine down.”

The older boy giggled throughout your rant, and by the amount of concentration put into cleaning the soft fabrics told you that he’d barely listened to anything you told him. “Take it seriously, Hoseok,” swatting him with a tea towel.

“I am!” he replied defensively, plonking down on his butt so that he was no longer squatting, and then stretching out his legs with a satisfied sigh.

You can dance, but you can’t lie,” you mumbled in English, half tempted to tickle his socked feet in petty revenge.

“Yah, I understood that!”

“Y/N, can you help me with something in the storeroom?” Yoongi came up to the two of you, shoving one hand in his pocket as he looked down at the collapsed Hoseok. Hoseok’s eyes shot open, giving Yoongi questioning looks, but he must have received some sort of signal from his friend as a flash of understanding crossed his features.

“Yeah, good idea Yoongs. Go on, Y/N.”

You knew something was up; you weren’t oblivious, and Hoseok definitely wasn’t subtle. But seeing as you couldn’t figure out why Yoongi needed you in the storeroom, you went along with his plan anyway, throwing a quick look over your shoulder to see Hoseok slip down further until he was lying flat out on the floor.

Laughing to yourself, you followed Yoongi behind the tills and into the back room. You sincerely hoped it wasn’t to do with organising shelves, because that would create more damage than there was to begin with. However, once you stepped in, you saw Jungkook sitting down on a cardboard box just as you heard the lock click behind you.

“Wait, what?” stammered Jungkook, seemingly also unaware of why he was in there. “Why did you lock us in?”

“Sort out your problems between you!” came Yoongi’s voice through the wood. “If I have to hear another complaint, I’m going to go mad!”

Spinning round, you cast an accusatory scowl at your dance partner. “Have you been complaining about me?”

“Have you?” he shot back.

“Yoongi, let us out!”

“Not until you stop fighting!”

In a sulk, you strode down the room and threw yourself down on a box, crossing your arms in protest. Although it wasn’t a serious fight, you were stubborn and Jungkook was hot-headed, so neither of you spoke or even looked at each other for several minutes. Hearing Yoongi’s footsteps fade as he walked off, you had the sinking realisation that you were going to have to come to an agreement about Taehyung. You understood why Jungkook was so anxious to get you away from him, but he wasn’t taking into consideration what sort of friendship you had with Taehyung. Sitting there while throwing a strop, you pondered why Jungkook hadn’t figured out why you were so reluctant to ‘move on’. You’d told him enough times why Taehyung was your best friend, but he didn’t seem to accept that fact. On top of that, because he refused to talk about himself, it was hard to pinpoint the reason behind his actions. Maybe he’d never had a best friend before, could that be it?

“Y/N, I’m sorry for making you sound like a dog,” he said weakly, barely loud enough for you to hear. You huffed out a small laugh, but he shuffled on his seat restlessly. “No, seriously. I’m jealous, can’t you see?”

You could. After feeling jealous for so many months, watching Taehyung laugh and smile and love someone else, the way Jungkook behaved was all too familiar.

“I hate myself for it,” he sighed, hiding his head in his hands and looking completely dejected. This was enough to shake you out of your grump and sit down next to him, rubbing his back in repetitive motions with the ball of your palm. However, you stayed quiet, knowing that if he was having trouble talking, then coaxing him was going to be the opposite of helpful. This had happened many times with Taehyung, as he’d always clam up more if you tried asking questions.

“You like Taehyung, and not me, I get that. But I don’t want you to think that I want you to stop obsessing over him just so you can spend more time with me. I want you to learn that if someone doesn’t appreciate that a beautiful person has a crush on them, then that person needs to move on. Find someone who does appreciate them.”

“I know where you’re coming from,” you said truthfully, trying not to blush about being called beautiful, even if it was an indirect compliment. “Although Taehyung doesn’t see me in that way, he still cherishes our friendship. Don’t you cherish ours?”

Jungkook didn’t reply, his mouth forming a thin line. You mentally kicked yourself, realising how your words could’ve come across as inconsiderate as you reaffirmed the fact that you were only friends.

“It’ll stop me worrying that you’re crying over him,” he swallowed, his expression subdued and his eyes hazy. You were already hurting him, and you hadn’t even begun to let him help you.

The idea of Jungkook liking you had only crossed your mind briefly, as you didn’t want to get yourself caught up in emotions. But you had still thought about it, and you couldn’t lie: it felt nice knowing that someone took an interest in you. Especially Jungkook, who was sweet and humble and had been a great friend to you the past couple of months.

Hesitatingly, you tried to explain yourself. “I can’t admit that I like you in that way, too,” you mumbled, “because I’ve been fixated on Taehyung for so long now. I’m sorry, Guk. I’ve been doing to you what Taehyung’s been doing to me. I’ve been ignoring your feelings because it felt like the easiest thing to do, all because I don’t want to cause you any pain. From first-hand experience, I know that I’d much rather have someone tell me they don’t like me than keep me in the dark.” You grabbed one of his hands and pulled it away from his face, squeezing his fingers.

“If you want me to leave you alone because you feel uncomfortable, I will, and I’ll understand,” he nodded.

“You’re a good person, Jungkook. But… I guess you are quite cute, so who knows.”

It was a lame attempt to lighten up the mood, but it worked, as Jungkook muffled a laugh with his hand. “Only quite? Wow, that’s harsh, but I’ll take it.”

He took your hands in his as he smiled, making your heart jolt slightly. You weren’t sure whether it was because you knew it was intended as a romantic gesture, or due to the shock of his forwardness. “Would you ever consider dating me?” he asked you gingerly.

Your breath hitched. Biting your lip and forcing yourself to keep eye contact, your mind reeled for something to say. How come in movies it looked so easy? In reality, your gut was twisting, not wanting to lie and fake your feelings.

“I’m not sure, Guk,” you admitted.

He nodded, the smile he wore not quite reaching his eyes. “At least think about it.”

You went home just before 8pm, your back aching and your limbs exhausted from cleaning. Hoseok demanded to walk you home, linking arms with you and happily telling you stories about Yoongi’s sleep talking habits. After he’d left, you dragged your body through the house until you reached the door to your dorm, your mind focused on grabbing some food and going to bed early. However, what you weren’t planning on was seeing Taehyung slumped against the front door, dozing with his arms crossed against his chest and his mouth slightly open.

“Tae? What are you doing here?”

Taehyung cracked open an eye, but when he realised where he was and who was standing there, he leaped up, straightening his jacket and muttering apologies.

“I didn’t mean to come this late, I’m sorry,” he said, his eyes open wide. “I really wanted to see you and I should’ve checked to see if you were here, but I thought a nap sounded like a better idea.”

So much for spending less time with Taehyung. “How did you get in the building?” you asked incredulously.

The familiar mischievous glint appeared in his eye. “I found the spare key.”

“Taehyung!”

“Are you going to let me in or not?”

There was no point in arguing with Taehyung. If you ever came close to having a falling out, Taehyung would always change the topic or apologise, just to stop the conversation from entering dangerous waters. A cheeky grin stretched across his face, knowing that he’d won.

You sighed wearily. “No boys are allowed in, including carrot heads.”

“Not even cute carrot heads?” He puffed out his cheeks and poked them with his fingers, hoping his charm would be enough to persuade you.

Not even bothering with a reply, you pushed him out the way of the door and let yourself in, motioning for him to stay where he was. Going around the house quietly, you knocked on all the bedroom doors and looked inside, checking to see if anyone was home. Luck seemed to be on Taehyung’s side, as the coast was clear.

“Okay, you can come in, but if any of my housemates find out that you’re here, you’re coming to my funeral and you’d better cry.”

The first thing Taehyung did was explore every nook and cranny of your home. He examined the bathroom, the fridge, the cupboards, and every food packet and every flyer stuck on the pin board, while you sat on the sofa and watched the inquisitive boy poke around. Although Taehyung had never been there before, it didn’t feel strange to see his slim frame plodding around your house barefooted. No matter how much pain Taehyung put you through, the joy and comfort he brought always outweighed the negatives.

Eventually, you showed him your bedroom, and observed as he picked up a photo frame of the two of you with a tender smile on his face, rubbing your frozen grins with his thumb. The picture was taken when your families went to Japan together on holiday, and you and Taehyung had decided to go up the Tokyo Skytree at night. Taehyung had his eyes closed in the photo, and it was also slightly blurry, but it brought back a lot of good memories that the quality didn’t matter.

“I was so happy back then,” said Taehyung slowly, gently placing the frame back in its place. “We didn’t have a care in the world.”

“Aren’t you happy now?” you asked softly, trying to not let the sudden feeling of worry enter your voice.

“I am, I really am. It’s just… things are a lot more complicated now.” He turned around to face you, but his expression was blank and you failed to grasp the true meaning behind his words. Taehyung refused to meet your eyes and instead peered around your room, and you knew he wasn’t going to open up easily. Whatever was bothering him he obviously found hard to talk about.

Looking around your room for something to say, your gaze fell upon the pile of blankets on your bed. With an idea forming, you began pulling out each blanket and draped them between your desk and your bed, creating a makeshift shelter. Taehyung quickly figured out what you were doing and helped you build your blanket tent, setting pillows and cushions on the floor to sit on and plugging in a lamp in the corner to provide light.

When you got the idea, you weren’t sure whether Taehyung would join in on your plan, as the last time you created a blanket tent was during middle school. It was originally Taehyung’s idea; in the tent, you could talk about all your secrets and problems, with nothing being off limits and no judgements about whatever was spoken. Usually you were the one doing most of the talking, as Taehyung’s friendly and sociable nature ensured an easy ride through his school years. But he seemed to think it was a good idea as you both crawled in to your newly resurrected tent.

“So, Kim Taehyung, what’s troubling you?” you began, grabbing a blanket and sitting down next to your friend, watching him fiddle with his fingers.

He licked his lips but didn’t say anything, and you could practically see his mind looking for the right words to say. “It’s hard to explain,” he breathed. “It’s probably just me overthinking things, and it’s probably not even true, but… I feel like something’s up with Yeji, you know? Everything’s going fine, there’s nothing wrong, but there’s something missing.”

Forcing yourself to breathe regularly, you asked, “Missing, how?”

“I’m not sure. She’s always been lovely to me, but the other day I saw her with Jimin and they were having an argument. Yeji walked away upset, and when I asked her what was wrong, she wouldn’t tell me. Ever since then, she’s been acting different. So, I asked Jimin, and he said it was nothing to worry about. But I am worrying. Yeji doesn’t treat me how she used to. She’s still wonderful, but it’s not the same anymore, and I don’t know why.”

Guilt was clogging your lungs and punching your heart, but there was nothing you could do. If you told Taehyung what you knew, he would be broken, and it would take a massive toll on your friendship. What could’ve Jimin said that would upset Yeji? Should you tell him now, while you still had the chance?

“I might just be paranoid,” Taehyung continued, not sounding entirely convinced, “but it’s just been getting me down. I wanted to see you because you always cheer me up somehow. Even if you don’t think my carrot hair is cute.”

You snorted, nudging his knee with yours, but your heartstrings tugged as he spoke, knowing that Taehyung’s presence made you feel the same way. Taehyung laughed, looking brighter and more relaxed than he had earlier.

“You don’t need to give me advice. Thanks for, you know… letting me talk,” he said shiftily, his neck going slightly red in embarrassment. “It’s silly, I know. But enough about me. There’s something I want to know, too.” A panic rose in your chest, wondering what dark secret he wanted to unearth. “Y/N, what do you do with Jungkook every morning?”

There was a moment’s silence where you let Taehyung’s question settle in the air, but all thoughts of Jungkook faded as you heard the electronic beep of the front door as someone entered. One of your housemates was home.

“Quick, we need to get you out of here,” you hissed, pushing Taehyung from behind as he scrambled out of the tent.

Luck still on your side, as the bedroom door that opened and closed was in the distance, meaning Jiwon was home. If it was Mijung or Yeona, getting Taehyung past their shared room that lay opposite yours would’ve been difficult.

Putting a finger to your lips, you entered the main area of your dorm, taking off your slippers so you could tiptoe quietly across the wooden floor. Taehyung had a death grip on your hand, not wanting to be left behind as you led him through your house and down the steps, inching past Jiwon’s room where you could hear her taking off her raincoat. Your heart was in your mouth, praying that she couldn’t hear the slight squeak of one of the steps down into the foyer. Slowly and painfully, you slipped on your shoes and made your way to the front door, freedom in your sights, but at this point, your luck ran out.

As soon as you heard Jiwon come out of her bedroom, you bolted, flinging open the front door and yanking Taehyung along.

“Y/N!” you heard her shout behind you, but you were gone, racing past your landlady’s door and out into the cold night air.

The rain was coming down heavily as you stood outside panting, slowly getting soaked as your heart pumped furiously.

Taehyung, on the other hand, let out a small chuckle. “Your face,” he spluttered, and soon he was doubling over as he laughed and laughed. It caught on, both of you in stitches as you shakily recovered from your dramatic exit.

You could feel the rain drowning your skin and clothes, your hair sticking to your face in clumps, but Taehyung still gave you a beaming smile. “You’ve got to go and face her some time,” he pointed out.

“Let me live for a few more minutes.”

He paused his shivering briefly, looking slightly unsure about something. However, it must have been the night to bring back old traditions, as he stretched out his hand for you to take in yours. “Care to join me for a dance?”

“In the rain? How cheesy.”

But you took his hand all the same, and before long you were spinning and twirling in the puddles, getting more and more wet by the minute. Taehyung’s hair deepened to a burnt orange colour, but his smile remained constant and ever-glowing. Not once did he let go of your hand as you threw your head back in delight, feeling the water splash onto your eyelids. Taehyung continued to giggle, pulling his familiar dance moves with added sound effects to accompany them.

It was just like the night at the Tokyo Skytree; a moment where you felt on top of the world, and no one was going to take that away from you.

Seokjin (Jin)

A/N: tteok-bokki are stir-fried rice cakes. It’s a popular Korean street food.

Seokjin chewed happily, face mask shoved down past his chin, and chopsticks in hand. He made a deep, throatily noise of content and smiled into his Styrofoam bowl. “Wahhh, it’s been ages since I’ve hade tteok-beokki!” he exclaimed happily, mouth full of rice cake.

Seokjin went to take another bite from his bowl, but felt his arm being jerked roughly back, pulling him back a couple feet and jumped at the unexpected contact. The sound of a car horn blarring past ripped his attention from his snack back to his surroundings. He looked from the street filled with traffic to just behind him where you stood, chest heaving from adrenaline.

Your cheeks flushed with his gaze directly on you and your hands immediately left his forearm, cradling each other across your chest. “I-I’m sorry, it just kind of happened. I didn’t mean to pull you so hard,” you stammered, your gaze falling anywhere but the man standing before you. Your eyes fell on the splattered tteok-beokki now all over the cement in front of him and your cheeks reddened further. “I’m really sorry, I can buy you another, I swear.”

Seokjin ducked his head lower to catch your gaze and smiled sweetly when your wide eyes finally met his. “Really, don’t worry about it! You just saved my life! I should be the one buying you tteok-beokki. Come, let me get you some.”

Yoongi (Suga)

Headlights flew by as Yoongi waited for the light to turn, allowing him to safely cross the busy street. He stood, hands in his jacket, hood up and face mask protecting his identity. Being this close to the company building, there were always fans wondering about, hoping to catch a glimpse of their favorite member. Taking out his phone to send a quick message to Namjoon, he heard a faint ding he assumed to be the light signaling it’s change. Keeping his eyes trained to the light on his phone, he stepped out to cross the street.

“HEY! What are you, crazy?!”

Yoongi heard your shouting before he could see you, and felt himself be dragged back by a pair of unfamiliar hands. The feeling of being alone and of hands on his upper arm sent panic coursing through him from bad airport experiences as he immediately severed where your bodies touched, jerking away and turning to face you. His chest heaved from the adrenaline, as he took in your face, eyebrows screwed together in confusion.

Your breath hitched when you looked at his barely visible face, his eyes being the only thing giving him away. Those eyes. You knew those eyes well. Staring at you unknowingly for days on end until your mind was filled with only him, his lyrics, the deep timber of his voice.

Your mind ran a marathon in the 3 seconds of awkward silence that settled between you. You swallowed thickly. “Are you okay?” you managed out.

Yoongi’s cat-like eyes blinked at you as you watched his brain process what had just taken place. Finally, a small chuckle escaped through his face mask and you couldn’t help but smiling softly at the ground at the sound so close to you, something you had only heard through speakers that did the beautiful sound nothing justice.

“Thank you,” came the almost familiarity of his voice. His eyes crinkled in that tell-tale sign of his gummy smile and your heart soared. You bit your bottom lip to keep your smile from spreading too widely.

“No problem,” you breathed and you could only hope the dark night was hiding your blush well. Your attention was brought back to your surroundings, people pushing past you to cross the street.

Yoongi turned to make his way across the street and only stopped briefly when he heard the small, uttered “Fighting!” only loud enough for him to hear. He smiled under his mask, and lifted a hand in a wave as he made his way across the street.

Hoseok (J-Hope)

Hoseok bobbed his head to the low bass that filtered through his headphones. He tapped the side of them, pausing the song and looking both ways before he trotted across the cross walk.

“J-HOPE!”

An unfamiliar, high-pitched voice screamed out his stage name before he met the sidewalk, and he immediately turned around to see a small group of girls crowded at the street corner he had just left, waving and smiling brightly. Hoseok smiled and nodded his head in acknowledgement.

The group thankfully moved on, giggling and smiling to one another. Hoseok turned to finish crossing the street and a hand reached out to his collar, pulling him roughly to the sidewalk just as a refrigerated truck blared its horn as it sailed by.

Hoseok’s chest rose and fell as he looked from your concerned face back to the now busy street. “Did you just-”

“You should pay more attention,” you lightly scolded, brows furrowed. You hands came to your hips and you tilted your head.

“I- Yeah.” he laughed. “Thanks. A lot.” Hoseok looked down to the ground, steadying his racing heart. “Did that just happen? I almost died! That means you saved my life.” He looked up at you, and you couldn’t help the shy smile that now filled your lips.

“Really, it was nothing.” An embarrassed chuckle left your throat before you continued. “You should get going before someone else recognizes you, Mr. Bigshot.” A genuine smile took place of your shy one and you hoped last minute that the nickname didn’t offend him. You opened your mouth to try and take back your last comment, but his wide smile quieted your thoughts.

“Right. Thanks again. Seriously,” His wide smile gave way to his signature toothy grin and you had to bite your bottom lip to not return the smile in a fit of giggles. “That could have been so bad. I don’t want to think about what would have happened if you hadn’t been here. But you sa-”

“Take care, J-Hope,” you smiled and gave a small bow before you made to turn away before you could mess up this rare encounter with one of your favorite idols. You were pleased that your heart wasn’t beating too loudly in your ears and hoping the blush that dusted your cheeks wasn’t too noticeable.

“Hoseok,” He stated, head moving to catch your gaze before you could turn away. “You can call me Hoseok, if you want.” His eyes searched yours for any sign of discomfort, before that disarming smirk was aimed solely at you.

It had never ben so hard to breathe before. All you could hear was the sound of his voice, quickly being taken over by the blood rushing in your ears and you knew your face was as red as the chili pepper paste you had gone to get, the only reason you were actually out right now.

Your lips parted, an unconscious gesture to make breathing easier and you licked your dry lips. “Y-yeah,” you stammered out, another shy laugh leaving you as you pulled out your phone, the screen immediately lighting up to the picture of BTS at the BBMA’s recently. You coughed violently at the embarrassment that filled your chest and quickly covered your mouth while trying to pull up your contacts list.

Hoseok chuckled and held out his phone, bumping it with yours to exchange information. He watched as your information splayed across his screen. “(Y/N),” he tried the name out on his tongue and your giddiness replaced the overwhelming embarrassment that was there just before. You couldn’t help the smile plastered to your face.

“I’ll see you around, (Y/N),” Hoseok waved and turned to head in the direction you had just come from.

“Yeah,” you breathed. You looked around to the people closest to you, and your smile only widened. That just happened, you thought. That really just happened.

Namjoon (Rap Monster)

You sat quietly towards the front of the bus, phone resting in your hand as you stared out the dark window. You knew Seoul wasn’t the safest place at night, but you couldn’t sit still at home anymore. The silence was deafening and you craved for the mindless chatter of strangers to fill up your mind, to block out the unwanted thoughts. You were headed to Hongdae, to people watch, or window shop, you weren’t sure which yet.

You looked back to the only other soul on the bus, aside from the driver and watched as he concentrated solely on a small black notebook and pen in his hands. You watched as his brow furrowed, his lips moving with unsaid words.

You studied his handsome face, a strong set of brows and prominent lips with strangely colored hair, and you wondered idly if he was an idol. You focused your attention back to the black scenery outside and decided here was far enough. Your legs ached to move, to keep them busy. You reached up to pull the string to let the driver know to stop, but the only other passanger beat you to it, his tall frame and long arms easily reaching the string first.

The bus halted slowly and you made your way to stand, picking up your small backpack and slinging it over your shoulder. The other passanger walked past you, notebook still in his hand, and thanked the driver politely as he exited the bus.

You muttered a quick thank you as well and exited after him, watching the bus drive off. You watched as the handsome man made to cross the street, and chuckled as he stumbled lightly, dropping his notebook to the cement.

Your smile fell as you watched him bent down to pick it up, you eyes darting between him and an oncoming car that wasn’t slowing down. Panic filled your chest and your legs moved before you gave consent, closing the ten foot gap between you.

Your hand reached out and grabbed the back of his jacket, yanking him roughly back as the car zoomed past. The man snapped his head to look at you, plump lips parted, his heavy panting making little clouds in the chilly night air.

“Thank you.”

His voice was much deeper than you expected. You swallowed thickly and you chastised yourself for the full 30 seconds it took you to respond.

“O-of course. No problem.” Your eyes fell to the ground and you had no idea why this complete stranger had so much of an effect on you. Sure, he was handsome, but you weren’t the type to fall for someone just for their looks. You willed yourself to look him in the eyes, but the dimpled smile that settled on his beautiful face caught you off guard. “You should be more careful,” you managed out.

A soft, deep chuckle left his lips. “You sound like Jin-hyung.

Your brows furrowed in confusion. “I’m sorry, who?” Should I know who he was? you thought. The way he spoke his name so casually with you made you feel like you were already friends with the two, had known them for years. Your eyes scanned his face in the dim street light for any sign of recognition but none came.

The man’s eyes widened, a bit taken aback. “I’m really sorry, I thought you were a fan.” He tried hiding his flustered face, bowing deeply, glasses almost falling off when he came back up. “Thank you for saving me. I should go,” he said quickly, and turned to walk in the opposite direction he was headed before.

A fan? So he must be an idol, you thought. You smiled, glad to not be the only one flustered. Your eyes traced his quickly leaving silhouette and fell on the notebook still laying on the ground.

“Wait!” you called out, proud that your voice was steadier with distance between you. You walked over to the notebook, and picked it up, brushing off the rocks and dust that had gathered in the small amount of time.

You heard his footsteps approach behind you and turned, handing it to him. He took the small notebook in both hands, an apologetic yet dimpled smile on his lips. “Thank you, again. I owe you.”

“May I at least have your name?” you asked, your voice sounding a little more hopeful than you would like.

“Rap Monster,” he replied almost instantly and you shook your head.

“No, your real name,” you smiled and you couldn’t help the teasing toned laced with your words.

A deep, genuine chuckle rang in your ears and the sound was gone too soon. He smiled. “My name is Namjoon.”

Taehyung (V)

“Look how cute! Taehyung-ah, look!” you called out excitedly, pointing at the small puppies for sale. You knelt down and began to pet the closest one in the pin, Taehyung smiling adoringly at you. He stood beside you and leaned down picking up one of the puppies, hugging it close. The puppy began showering Taehyung in puppy kisses, and a laugh escaped his throat. You beamed up at him at the sound.

“Can I have her?” Taehyung smiled at the older woman, and nodded. She handed you a leash, collar and a small bag of puppy food. You bounced excitedly in your place beside him, cooing at the puppy.

You placed the collar and leash on the puppy and Taehyung set her down to walk beside you eagerly. You smiled down at the puppy, keeping the leash close while walking on the sidewalk.

“What should we call her?” You asked, staring in admiration at the puppy. Taehyung looked back to the puppy and smiled wide. Your eyes met for only a split second before the street in front of you catching your attention. You eyes widened as you grabbed Taehyung’s hand and harshly pulled him back just as a car tore by. The driver let out a string of curse words out his opened window but was muffled by the rush of blood in your ears. Adrenaline pumped through you almost painfully as you eyed Taehyung with concern.

A nervous laugh left his lips and you could tell he was trying to make light of the situation. He licked his lips. “Did you just save me?” He asked playfully. You pulled him into a tight embrace, arms locking above his neck, head resting against his solid chest.

“Just be careful, dork,” you breathed into his t-shirt. You could hear the pounding of his heart, as you willed yours to calm down.

Jimin

“What are you saying?” you breathed. Tears streamed down your face, and you prayed that in the dark of the night, the street lamp hid your tears well. You watched as Jimin, eyes full sadness and pain, mouthed words that wouldn’t make sense to you, no matter how hard you tried to string them together.

“(Y/N), we can’t do this anymore,” he wouldn’t meet your eyes. “My company threatened my contract because I was hiding this relationship. They said if don’t get rid of my distraction, then I might not debut.”

You couldn’t help it. The tears fell from your face harder, sobs threatening to break through your lips. You shook your head, too many thoughts flooding your mind at once. He’s worked too hard for this. He’s sacrificed so much for this relationship that it’s hurting his dreams. You willed your voice to be steady.

“Okay.” It was a simple acknowledgement, but one word had your whole world crumbling. You had built a tower out of hope and future plans with the man standing in front of you, only for one support beam to be taken out from the bottom, your whole future collapsing with it.

Jimin looked away from you, eyes glassed over with tears. This was it. No fighting for the relationship, no harsh words of unkept promises. He swallowed thickly.

You watched as he backed away from you, stepping off the curb to cross the street back to the dorms. He sighed, running a hand through his newly dyed hair and turned around.

Through your muffled mind, you recognized the sound of a bicycle approaching fast, causing you to look away from Jimin just in time to react. You yanked his forearm back onto the curb, narrowly missing the path of the bicyclist.

He looked from you to the retreating form of the bike and sighed for what felt like the tenth time in your short meeting. “Thanks,” he muttered, sparing you one last glance before heading in the direction of the dorms, head hung low.

Jeongguk (Jungkook)

Oppa! Oppa, wait up!”

You heard the high shrills of screaming teenage girls before you could actually see them from your place on the corner of the bust stop, and were sure some poor idol was having a bad night. You looked over and eyed the edge of the crowd of the busy street filled with vendors and independent street shops.

Your brow furrowed when a tall frame brushed past the crowd and sprinted towards the safety of the open sidewalk, in your direction. His black face mask was pushed as far up as his chin would let it, hair a mess as if he had been wearing a hat and lost it in his struggle to leave.

You sighed and felt sorry for the boy, a strange pang of wanting nothing more than to protect him washed over you. You pushed the unwanted feeling down. You had no idea who he was, and certainly no reason to protect him. From his broad back and large muscles (that you definitely didn’t notice), he was more than capable of protecting himself.

The boy ran past you, head still looking back towards the crowd for any sign of being followed. Panic filled your chest has he stepped out onto the busy street and you immediately grabbed the back of his striped shirt and pulled him back to the sidewalk, yanking him as hard as you could behind the view of the brick building just as a group of teenagers emerged from the crowd.

They eyed you suspiciously, standing just beside the brick building near the bust stop. “He went that way,” and quickly pointed to an ally leading to another busy street in the opposite direction of you and the boy. The girls took of at a run down the ally, and when the coast was clear, you turned to see the boy leaning against the wall, eyes closed.

“Tough night?” you called. You almost thought the boy hadn’t heard you, giving no sign of answering until he bounced off the wall and aimed his gaze at you.

Wow. Okay, you thought. The boy was definitely attractive, his shy bunny-toothed smile only enhancing how cute he was.

“Thank you so much,” he muttered and gave a polite bow. He nervously scratched the back of his hand and looked at anything other than your face. “Just don’t mention to anyone you saw me. I’m not supposed to be out by myself.”

You laughed at that, how young it made him sound, and his smile faltered at the sound. You smiled genuinely at him. “Don’t worry. I’m not even sure who you are.”

He blushed furiously and the shy smile returned. “You should probably go. They’ll be back for murder when they realize I sent them on a wild goose chase.”

He laughed at this, a hearty sound that was every bit real, and pride blossomed in your chest at causing the sound. He bowed again, smile still on his face. “Thanks again.”

“No problem, kid,” you smiled.

Victor never meant to retire

It’s been a little over a month since episode 12 of Yuri!!! On Ice aired and every time I rewatch the whole series, I find new things worth talking about. I know many people in the YOI fandom were upset because they considered that Victor making a comeback to competitive figure skating was against the narrative. However, I think the series was heading that way since the very beginning. Victor never wanted to retire, and those who think that way completely misunderstood Victor’s character. I’m sure this is going to get really long, so I’ll put it under the cut.

Title: Sleep With Me

Pairing: Sherlolly

Word Count: 1880

Rating: K/G

Summary: When Sherlock offered the sleepy pathologist his bed he really hadn’t intended on joining her…

[On Ao3] [On FF.Net]

An amused smirk twitched at one corner of Sherlock’s lips as he watched Molly fail in her attempt to stifle a yawn.

“Why don’t you just stop fighting it and go to sleep?”

“’m fine,” Molly mumbled around another uncontainable yawn.

“I’m not Rosie, you know,” Sherlock snapped mildly. “I’m not an infant. You do not have to keep an eye on me every second.”

Molly caught her bottom lip between her teeth, either in contemplation or to bite back a retort, Sherlock wasn’t entirely sure.

“Well, maybe… Maybe I will just kip here for a bit.” She put aside the book she had been reading and stretched out on the sofa, wriggling around for a moment to find a comfortable position.

“You can use my bed,” Sherlock offered, distractedly plucking at the strings of his violin. “You’ll be much more comfortable.”

Molly’s head popped up, her eyes slightly wide. “W-what about you?”

Sherlock huffed. “I highly doubt I will be doing any sleeping tonight.”

“Oh. Then maybe I should stay up and keep you company,” Molly purposed, looking unsure about leaving Sherlock on his own even if she would just be in the next room.

“Don’t be ridiculous,” Sherlock dismissed. “There’s no need for the both of us to lose sleep. Especially when you’re tired and I’m not. I’ll be fine.”

Molly sighed. “Okay. If you’re certain.”

“I am.”

Molly hauled herself up from the sofa and crossed the room. “Don’t hesitate to wake me if you feel any urges.”

Sherlock arched his brows at her.

“Oh you know what I mean,” Molly huffed, rolling her eyes, trying to appear exasperated, but the touch of pink tinting the tips of her ears gave away her embarrassment.

Sherlock smiled. “Yes. Will do, Molly. Goodnight.”

Molly sighed. “Night, Sherlock.”

You should do sth of harry with a family friend! Like a friend of his from kindergarden or sth!

Hi, I absolutely love your blog :) I was wondering if you could write a blurb about you graduating from University/College and then your ‘famous’ boyfriend Harry turns up. Maybe him like ‘rewarding’ you for doing well. A little bit sweet and smutty if you could :) xx

Joined these.  It’s a bit long.  But well worth it.  Enjoy.

“Don’t forget your hat.”  I heard my mother yell as I tore out of the car.  I was late.  So late.  Who the hell is late for their college graduation?   Me.  That’s who.

I didn’t start out late.  I woke up early.  I took my shower.  I even did my hair and makeup.  But my dad was insistent on getting pictures and video.  And my sister was in one of her “I’m a senior in high school and everything in the world is stupid” moments.  So by the time we actually left my house, I was late.

I told my friends, Shelby and Anna to go on without me since both looked entirely exasperated that we hadn’t left yet.  Looking back on it now, I should have just left with them.

I made it just in time to take my spot in front of Shelby before we walked out onto the green grass.  Shelby shook her head,

“And she makes it…”

I turned to look at her,

“Help me!”  I whisper/yelled as I tried desperately to get my hat on so it looked decent.

Shelby finally snatched the hat out of my hand and fixed it before placing it on my head,

“There…would you calm down?”

“Calm down?  I can’t calm down.  I’m supposed to make a speech.”

Shelby nodded,

“Yes.  As valedictorian of the class that’s your job.”  She said under her breath as we walked out onto the stage to face our fellow students.

“It sucks.  I should have left out the joke.”

Shelby rolled her eyes,

“Would you stop.  It doesn’t suck.  It’s fine.  As class President, I’m ordering you to make the speech.”

I looked at her, horrified, as we sat in our chairs,

“Can you do that?”

She shook her head,

“Oh my God…”  She said through giggles as she walked to the podium.
