So apparently I ran into walls as a child...which explains a lot
It wasn’t because I didn’t see the wall.
It wasn’t because I didn’t realize it was there.
It was just in my way.
Full story: We were playing tag with friends, I was sprinting around the corner of the house, near our front stairs, and I turned my head to shout back ‘AHAHAHA’ or something my seven-year-old self would have said in triumph, and then - nothing.
I don’t remember anything else after that.
Basically I lost about twenty seconds of awareness.
Suddenly I was lying on my back, looking up from the ground at my cousin’s faces. They were looking down at me, really confused, and sort of freaked out.
I was like, “What? Why am I on the ground? Did somebody knock me over?”
Apparently I had run at a full sprint into the wall, slammed directly into the wall, rebounded, and then slammed the back of my head against the concrete patio.
No blood, no bruising, just - you know. Headache.
Looking back I probably should have gone in for an X-Ray or an MRI, but I was mostly irritated that I couldn’t play tag anymore that day.
In the darkest of times, you were my conscience. Your heart was a light, Mary, and it burned so very bright for France. No matter how far you go, that light will burn forever.
I love you, Mary Stuart. F o r e v e r.
“Herondales.“ Zachariah’s voice was a breath, half laughter, half pain. "I had almost forgotten. No other family does so much for love, or feels so much guilt for it. Don’t carry the weight of the world on you, Jace. It’s too heavy for even a Herondale to bear.”

[Brings up the privilege light skinned Jews experience as a way to lump them in with white people and erase and/or minimize their identities as Jews and the struggles they face with antisemitism]
So I decided to do an animatic of what was probably my favorite Klance moment of season 3. I was originally going to do screencap redraws but I realized that those wouldn’t do this whole scene justice lmao
