plus!sized reader x Luke Alvez

Title : Plus, she’s amazing !

Pairing : Luke Alvez x reader

POV : Reader’s

Word count : 2718 (I have been deprived of feelings okay don’t judge me)

A/n - I literally went wild with this and tried to write a more positive story because most plus!sized reader fics are kind of depressing. I still touch upon insecurities, but it’s far more light hearted. This will also be a multi chapter fic if you guys want :)

Thank’s to @madamredwrites for the title, you are amazing <3 and @lostdreamsanddeadroses for beta reading this piece of fan trash :)

Also thanks to @happilygubler, @sassygeek77 and @zugzwangxo who encouraged me to write Luke Alvez fics. WE NEED MORE!!!

This had to go well. Andi left the unit under you, you had to do this right. You were familiar with the BAU. Garcia and you were good friends but you hadn’t met the team at all and it was frustrating. “You’ve got this Y/N, the force is one with you.” you mumbled, playing with your necklace. The elevator doors dinged open and you stepped out, heading straight for the doors where a group of people stood crowded around a few desks in the bullpen. You recognized the lanky tall one to be Spencer from Penelope’s polaroid wall. He looked quite different with the 4th doctor get up. You also recognized Prentiss, the new unit chief, who seemed to be in the middle of a briefing.

Not Your Fault// Josh Dun

Requested: Hey, I was wondering if you could write a Josh dun imagine where you and Josh get in a fight and you’re young daughter walks in on the fight and is really upset and confused and you leave and take you’re daughter with you and Josh is like crying and stuff when you leave and you go to you’re moms house and he comes the next day and apologizes

Xx

You were used to Josh being busy whenever a new album was in the making, or when a tour was being planned. You had gotten used to his rushed goodbyes and promises of being back home later. As everyone tells you though; life changes with a child.

“Mommy.” Your daughter sobbed, clutching her stuffed kitten Josh had won her from the carnival last month. “Where’s daddy?” She missed Josh so much when he was gone; no matter how much time the two spent together, she would always break down when he was off to work. It broke your heart to see her cry.

“He’s at work sweetie. Dad and Uncle Tyler are really busy right now. They’re making a new CD.” You hoped the idea of hearing her dad’s new music when it came out would raise her spirit, but for this 5 year old that was no such thing. Her pout grew as she clung to your legs, sobbing harder. It was times like these when you got frustrated that Josh suddenly left without a reason. Tonight is was right after supper, the two were playing drums together when Josh had gotten the call. It broke her heart for her dad to leave during their drum session. To those 2, drumming sessions were life.

“Why can’t he come home? I want to see him before I gotta sleep!” It was 10 minutes to her bedtime, and you knew Josh wouldn’t be home by then unless he left 20 minutes ago. “Can I please stay up until daddy comes home?” You couldn’t say no to her in this state, she wasn’t trying anything bratty. She just really missed her dad.

“If you can stay up that long.” You forced a smile for her, poking her nose lightly. Your heart lifted a little as she gave you a smile back, running over to her little table in the living room. Pulling out her colouring book and colours. You loved how creative your daughter was, she would tell stories that nobody would ever think of. Draw pictures like it took to effort at all, it was amazing to see her at work. Your attention was only pulled away from your daughter when you went to your room, calling Josh to see when he would be heading home. You put your phone on speaker and sat on the bed, waiting for him to pick up.

“Hello?” He finally answered after 4 rings, he sounded exhausted and irritated. “What’s wrong?” He asked before you could say anything.

“Nothing is really wrong.” You started, hearing a groan from his side. He was obviously not happy that you called him while he was working. “Besides our daughter sobbing earlier wondering when her daddy would be home.” Your tone suddenly angry, he had no right to act like this when he was always leaving at random.

“Tell her I’m sorry! This is how we get an income for the house. It’s not like I want to work all the time.” You pinched the bridge of your nose, his attitude about this was pissing you off.

“Or how about you apologize to her yourself when you get home tonight. She’s forcing herself to stay awake until you’re home.” When you were met by silence, you knew he would be at the studio all night. This happened in the past before you had Y/D/N, it wasn’t the best feeling but you lived through it. Right now though; it made you livid. “Are you serious?!” You screamed, blinded by rage. “You leave your daughter randomly, not telling her where you’re going and now you aren’t even coming home tonight?”

“I am so fucking sorry. We’re stressed out over here. We’re trying to finish this for the deadline.” Josh snapped back, you felt your jaw clench as you listened. He was impossible.

“So you finish the album then leave for god knows how long on tour. Leaving me to explain to Y/D/N why her daddy is gone. Telling her that you love her, that you didn’t abandon us. God you’re fucking impossible. If you love the band so much, marry them. Have kids with them. You shouldn’t have even wasted our time.” You felt tears going down your cheeks as you spoke. “I’ll be at my mom’s house with Y/D/N. Don’t be surprised when you don’t get a single text or call about when we’ll be back.” With that you hung up. Head falling into your hands as you sobbed. This was all so straining on you, and your daughter and Josh acted like it was no big deal. Yes you felt bad for being rude about this; being a drummer for Tyler’s band was his dream. He even quit a job just to play with him back in the day, but you didn’t care about that right now.

“I’m sorry mommy.” You heard a small voice sob from the doorway. You tensed; how long was she there for? “So I’ll pack my stuff for grandma’s house.” She ran away sobbing, causing you to fall back on your bed groaning. You felt horrible, you never wanted your daughter to hear any of that. None of this was her fault and the poor thing though it was probably all caused by her.

Xx

The two of you had been staying with your mom for a couple days now; Josh had been texting and calling you like no tomorrow. Though you’ve been ignoring him, your heart was completely broken and he just stood by and watched it break.

“You know he’s worried sick about you two. He feels horrible.” Your mother started, the two of you were currently having tea in the kitchen together; your daughter fast asleep in your mother’s lap. She had been crying for most of these days, thinking you and Josh had divorced and were never going to see one another again (despite your various protests that you two were still happily married). “He wants to come over and talk but doesn’t want to push you away.” You knew he was talking to your mother, trying to find a time to come and talk.

“I know, I just can’t bear the thought of seeing him right now. You see how Y/D/N is acting, it was caused by his stupid schedule and our stupid fight.” You closed your eyes, willing away the tears that were threatening to pool up. “I don’t know how it would go if he just showed up here.” If the look on your mother’s face wasn’t enough, the knock at the door signalled that Josh had showed up. “Mom did you seriously invite him over?” You whispered, getting a sympathetic look from her.

“You two need to talk this out. It’s not healthy for anyone involved.” She stood, still holding your daughter in her arms as she walked to go answer the door. You ran your fingers through your hair as you heard his voice in the livingroom; saying something to your mother that you didn’t pick up. You were too caught up in your thoughts, your fears.

“Y/N” Josh whispered, walking into the kitchen, rubbing the back of his neck. “We really need to talk.” You fought the urge to roll your eyes, knowing it would only make things worse. “I know things have changed, going to the studio at random times isn’t working. When it was only you and I, we got through it.” You felt tears prickle in your eyes again as you stared forward. “But with Y/D/N here, we need to figure something out.” You felt tears streak down your face, and Josh’s calloused thumb gently wiping them away. “I talked to everyone, they understand the situation. There will be no more random calls in. They’re working on a schedule, and if I do randomly get called for some reason..” Josh took a breath, grabbing your hands. “Y/D/N will be coming with me. I can’t stand the thought of spending more time away from her than I need to.” You stood from your seat and pulled your arms around Josh’s middle, sobbing into his chest. All the emotions you’ve been storing up this whole time came out in one big wave.

“She, she blamed herself for us fighting. I can’t tell her otherwise that it isn’t. She’s been crying so much Josh. I’m a horrible mom.” You felt his arms tighten around you, as he soothed you.

“I’ll talk to her. None of this is primarily your fault. We both found ourselves in this situation.” He whispered into your hair, holding you closely. “But right now, let’s go home. It’s empty without my two favorite girls there with me.”
