but great memory

Yoga or Pilates? Strawberries or watermelon? Taco Tuesdays or take out Chinese food Fridays? Snuggling under a blanket watching old movies or making memories with great friends out on the town? Farmers markets on a Saturday morning or sipping coffee in a cozy café?

shoutout to ND people with Weird memory

- to the people who can remember every aspect of a situation from a random wednesday in 2013 but regularly forget their families’ faces
- to the people with great short term memory but awful long term memory
- to the people with that the other way round
- to the people who hear “if its important to you, you’ll remember it” when the only things u remember are completely unimportant
- to the people who’s brain seems to flip a coin on whether information they’re taking in will stick or not
- to the people who hear “your memory cant be bad because you remember [X], so you must be lying when you say you cant remember [Y]”
- to the people who cant retain information on their hyperfixation/special interest even though they really want to, and even though they “should” be able to
- to the people who can remember that there’s something they want to remember, but not what that thing is

shoutout to the people with simultaneously good and bad memories; you guys dont get enough recognition (feel free to add on)

so I saw this post earlier that theorised that barry saying “I’m barry bluejeans” at the end of every sentence in the first arc was because of the voidfish and he was suffering with a lesser version of what davenport was going through and it just occurred to me that “magnus rushes in” and “I’m taako, from TV” / “taako’s good out here” are maybe caused by the same thing ???

I would like to know your opinion in a possible Langst topic that my mind suddenly created. Lance having memory problems. Opinion?

Lance has memory problems, always has, always will. When he was young it was less noticeable, but now that he’s older, its very very very noticable if he doesn’t take medicine. He takes his medicine bottle with him everywhere, because he needs to know exactly where they are ( the inside pocket of his jacket) but now that hes in space, he doesnt have a system too go too when he gets particularly bad days. He doesn’t have people to go to anymore. No one on the ship knows, not even Hunk. But then… he runs out of medicine and he panics. He ends up going to Coran about it, and Coran is like “Okay we got some medicine for that, we might have to alter it though” and Lance is like “Yessss” because he doesn’t wanna bother anyone else. Thing is though, the medicine takes a week or two to alter, and Lance starts forgetting things. Of course the team notices, and one day he forgets where he is, and starts racing down the halls screaming in Spanish (I hc this as his first language) and Hunk has to talk too him, confused as all hell, and Coran explains while Lance regains some of his memories.

The whole team are like, “Why wouldn’t he tell us?” Hunk especially and then when he gets back on medication, they ask. He doesn’t tell them everything, just saying it was personal, but Hunk and Keith corner him later, and he spills his guts about not wanting to be a burden. Again. To which both of them are shocked because Lance had never said anything, never even implied he wasn’t okay. So they become Lance protection squad and basically protect him, the smol beans.

The Lizzie Bennet Diaries 5 Year Anniversary - Bing Lee and his 500 Teenage Prostitutes - Ep: 4   (April 19th 2012)

Bing Lee is currently on his way to the airport to return with an entire harem of women.

How To (properly) Visit The Columbine Memorial

SO, you’re thinking about making a trip to the Columbine memorial? That’s great! Here are just a few tips (from a local and from someone who isn’t deficient in empathy) on how to make the most out of your visit. 👍

Dress Appropriately. I chose to wear my favorite black dress and feather belt. please leave your natural selection, wrath, AOL Here KewLz HaXORz ArE shirts, trench coats, or other Columbine Killer Costumes at home. Those clothes just scream, “I’ve never been laid and won’t ever move outta my mom’s basement” Save em for Halloween plz.

AH! we’ve made it to Clement Park! There’s parking right off of Bowles Ave. Just pull in by the Library. It’s super easy to spot.

You can bring flowers if you’d like! I opted for yellow roses. I would suggest leaving any candles you want to light for eric and dylan at home. You can worship those pasty losers anywhere else in the ENTIRE WORLD besides the COUPLE OF SQUARE FEET THAT IS THE MEMORIAL. (show some self control)

take a second to glance at the posted rules. If you don’t speak english (only reason i can come up with for not understanding them) there is a great new website called google.com. You can go there and translate any word you don’t know. Like: no smoking, no fumar, 喫煙禁止, ne pas fumer, Vietato fumare,

WE’RE HERE!! No finger guns, water guns, or mock weapons within the memorial grounds. i’m not trying to TELL you what to do per se, just want to make sure you have the best experience, and mock shooting something makes you look infantile. Now you can take in the tranquility of the memorial.

In case nature calls during your visit, don’t fret! There are plenty of places to relieve yourself besides Rachel’s placard. There are many facilities within clement park. Just turn around, stroll out of the memorial grounds, and head for these plastic blue houses, you can’t miss it. 😃

if ya see someone desecrating the memorial, just flag down one of these guys, police are constantly patroling Clement Park. If none are around, call this number: 303-794-1551. That’s the Littleton Police Department. I would suggest not to ask if they’ll release the Basement Tapes. I have a hunch they’re gonna say no. (sorry guys)

GREAT JOB! YOU DID IT! You get a gold star. We managed to visit the memorial and keep our dignity in tact! Feel free to stroll by the school, all I ask is to leave those attending alone and to stay respectful to the area. Colorado thanks you.  Saying shit like, no one remembers or cares anymore is SUCH A COP OUT. Anyone with a heart cares. Colorado cares. So many people were somber, visiting the memorial alongside me. I care and I will never EVER forget the THIRTEEN VICTIMS of the Columbine Massacre.

Now matter how hard I try, I just can’t get the cold open out of my head. Twelve doesn’t deserve to regenerate alone, screaming in the snow. I can’t help but to notice how much of a contrast it is to Eleven’s regeneration.

Eleven was with Clara, in the comfort of the TARDIS with his clean-cut and tidy appearance.

Twelve is alone, out in the harsh cold with torn up clothes and broken appearance.

I just really hope that this isn’t what his regeneration will be like. Cold, broken, alone.

These People Were Working So Hard To Create Something. And When You See It From Above It’s Just Incredible.

All of our most impressive achievements in human history - the pyramids of Giza, the lighthouse of Alexandria, and the hanging gardens of Babylon - are the result of tireless effort and collaboration.

This gorgeous, monumental effort was no different.

It took 60 volunteers from around the world along with 500 residents to create.

They painstakingly etched the bodies of 9,000 fallen soldiers from D-Day into the sand.

The effort was led by the artists Jamie Wardley and Andy Moss to commemorate those who sacrificed dearly on June 6, 1944.

The work is titled The Fallen 9000.

Everyone threw themselves into the effort, even though they knew with the tide it couldn’t last forever.

Here those who served in the D-Day landings will be remembered.

It includes all those civilians, Germans, and allied forces who died during the D-Day beach landings.

The original team was just a few volunteers.

But as word spread of what they were trying to accomplish nearly 500 residents pitched in too, and built this beautiful memorial together.

D-Day was one of the most significant days in our world and forever changed the course of history. These men were all a part of it, and this memorial stands as a stark reminder of how costly war can be. Share this important memory with your friends by clicking below.
