but all the drugs in this world

Personal recap Autumn Classic 2017 Men SP

What to say???? One word: OMG!!!! 😱😱😱😍😍😍

YUZU WAS PERFECTION AND GOT A NEW WORLD RECORD!!!!! ❤❤❤ (Yuzu do you realize that we are in September start of the season?)

Yuzu did a masterpiece with a watered down program, so imagine this with the realy layout, so I see another WR coming! I am so pleased and happy I have no words. (Besides who needs drugs when there is Yuzu?)

But ok let’s not forget some other skaters!

Nam started the competition with a BANG! He was good like never before! I never heard this version of Over the rainbow but I liked it a lot👏!

Javi’s Chaplin is also gorgeous 😊! (His 2013 Worlds FS was always my fav program of Javi ever) This suits him so well! And it is different from the previous FS, so all my doubts washed away!

MISHA welcome back🙌! So good you decided to stay! Enjoy your last season! Misha’s interpretation is wonderful( he should get higher marks in IN btw)!

And then two other veterans who are back on the scene after an injury.

Daisuke Murakami with some mistakes in his program, but still he is back!

Peter Liebers with a very good SP! (Remember he was 8th last Olympics!)(Some national pride too and he is from my hometown!)😊

(And again thank you Autumn Classic for this excellent stream and lovely fair commentary and good camera work!)

(Btw sorry I skipped the last group, but it is nearly 4am here and I thought I should sleep)

What You Don’t Know About the Moon Signs

ARIES: They are fighters, they go through so much turmoil and still manage to rise above it. They have so much passion and love for their family and loved ones, they tend to hurt these people the most, as Aries is emotional and can go through a range of emotions in such a short span of time. They tend to beat themselves up a lot for all the shit they do. They just need the love and attention they may not have received in early life.

TAURUS: Family and home are very important to Taurus moons. They strive for long term relationships and are generally loyal to their significant others. They can come off as needy, clingy, and obsessive leaving them heartbroken many times in their life. This may stem from a family who suffocated them or were distant. They think they are boring and typical, they need someone who will love them for all their faults and see the life in them that others do not.

GEMINI: Gemini moons have a rep for being emotionless, cold, and a total heartbreaker. This isn’t true by any means. Gemini moons feel a range of emotions, so overwhelming that they shut it down completely and focus more on their mind than their heart. They don’t know how to feel sometimes, leading to depression and anxiety. It’s not that they don’t want anyone to love, they are actively searching for someone who understands they need space, they want to take things slow, which can be hard to understand because of how open they are. Gemini moons are full of love, wit, and enthusiasm.

CANCER: Known for being clingy cry babies. But, really you guys?? Cancer moons are your best bet and probably the most misunderstood. These people would do ANYTHING for those they love. I’m talking like, giving you their last dollar so you can get something you want. They put the needs of their loved ones before themselves. They just want to nurture you and love you and want that back from you. They don’t want anything else. The “mom” friend, even if they’re male. These people are so fucking sweet. (Issues with the father are noted)

LEO: Okay, so they can be dramatic, but it’s because they feel so deeply and just want attention. They have a tendency to be conceited and arrogant but truthfully, they are very insecure about themselves and this stems from harsh parents who were very concerned with their status and their children’s looks. They just want you to pay attention to their rants, their stories, their generous acts. Thank and compliment a Leo moon today (unless they’re genuinely being an ass)

VIRGO: Virgo moons put a huge wall between their feelings and others, from fear of rejection, general anxiety about love, and not being well developed in their feelings. Because of this huge amount of baggage they put on themselves, they can love deeply one second and become critical and harsh the next. They need someone who will understand this and calm them down when things get too rough.

LIBRA: These beauties are some sweet talkers. And super generous, too. They’re usually the ones to not take sides during an argument between their friends, they talk to each one individually and attempt to work out a solution. Arguments, confrontation, and fighting are a huge fear for them, they can’t ever seem to say no to favors or stand up for themselves. Libra moons put their loved ones before themselves all the time. They need someone who will speak up for them or break them out of their shell and reassure them they’re allowed to say no if they want.

SCORPIO: Scorpio Moons have intensified emotions and lead very private lives. Scorpio Moons are harder to get through than Scorpio Suns, actually. They fear others taking advantage of them or controlling their lives, so they don’t get involved in relationships very often but when they do, they’re likely to leave fast. They like the idea of love instead of love itself. Scorpio moons want so much to be in love, but they’re just too scared. The mother of the Scorpio moon was likely full of turmoil, leading to their trust issues. A constant with her leaving her child, or possibly having passed away.  They need someone who will be patient and understanding of the issues they have.

SAGITTARIUS: Impulsive, rapidly changing emotions are a constant for Sagittarius moons. There’s a pattern of reckless behavior / emotions and often being blunt and direct, which obviously hurts the feelings of others. Deep down, Sagittarius moons are very loving and affectionate. They just need someone who will understand they don’t always mean the things they say. They need someone who can keep up with their active mind, changeable emotions, and wild spirit.

CAPRICORN: Most likely of them all to have issues with the father, 2nd being Cancer Moons. Often, childhood trauma has effected them, making them take on responsibility for themselves early on, out of fear that no one can take care of them but themselves. They’re overly protective of their emotions and attempt to show no signs of actually being fragile. Once in love, they are committed and true. They need someone who will not be afraid to work hard for them. It’s not that they mean to be complicated, they’ve just been through a lot.

AQUARIUS: Freedom and individuality are absolutely important to Aquarius moons. They need space to breathe in, they need to be fully themselves, and they need times where they can be on their own. This doesn’t mean they’ll flake on everyone, this just means that people can be too much for them at times, even if they’re extraverted. They are friends to everyone they know, having friends from many different backgrounds. Their mother may have been distant, not giving the love and attention that should be given. This can make Aquarius moons adopt the same persona, distant and cold with their emotions. But when they truly open up to someone, they love with all their heart.

PISCES: Literally the most romantic of all the moon signs, and a huge flirt. Affairs are likely with this placement. Pisces moons have a strong intuition and immense creativity. Sometimes they get lost in their own world and lose sight of reality. They can make people out to be something they’re not which is dangerous if that person is actually toxic. It’s likely their mother had a drug addiction, and it’s likely Pisces moon will also have an addiction. They need someone who can ground them and bring them back to earth before they become too oblivious to their surroundings.

Lives and Aesthetics of the Signs

Aries: Cannon ball diving into the pool, splashing everyone with water, and laughing. Yells obscenities at other drivers that piss them off. Always gets in trouble for being too loud in class. Will take any dare. Refuses to be told what to do and argues even when wrong. The life of the party.

Taurus: Sitting at the dinner table, eating, while reading a book on local edible plants. Goes for walks and puts random things he finds in his mouth. Will take any eating-related dare. Has tried just about every “strange” food known to man. Isn’t afraid of the “30-second” rule.

Gemini: Makes silly puns. Watches YouTube videos of baby animals and shows them to all of her friends. Full of questions. Constantly raises her hand in class, and can elaborate on a subject for an infinite amount of time. The one to start every conversation and the first to make friends in a new environment. Her laughter sounds like bubbles.

Cancer: Watches Disney movies way too much and probably cries during most of them. Shy. Avoids big responsibilities, often for fear of letting others down. Prefers to stay indoors and at home. Their “happy place” is inside, reading a good book, while wrapped in a cozy blanket on a rainy day. Very good at making up stories. Has vivid dreams and daydreams. Pretty good at baking.

Leo: Spends a lot of money on music festival tickets. Owns an entire shelf of different hair care products. Wears “loud” clothes and accessories to stand out. The friendliest jock you will ever meet. Great taste in the people they surround themselves with; they have no tolerance for bullies. Parties harder than anyone they know, and always posts photos of what they’re doing on social media. Probably invented beer pong.

Virgo: Owns several calendars. Maybe even a label maker. Has a blog about “Planners”. Finds pleasure in ritualistic cleaning and organizing. Great at planning events. Always prepared. Carries everything they think they might need in the purse they take with them everywhere (“Mary Poppins Bag”). Loves to write, and keeps around a dozen half-filled notebooks in her room. Very good at problem solving. Prefers to work alone.

Libra: Messy. Owns at least one exploding bin of art supplies. Creates everything that decorates her room. Verbally comments to appreciate the beauty surrounding her as she sees it. Stares into your eyes when listening to you. Can make up a conversation about anything. Talks constantly until she forgets that she’s still speaking and trails off. Reads people like books, and uses humor to explore boundaries and learn about others. Avoids confrontation. Good at lying. Can’t own a white shirt because she spills everything on it (food, paint).

Scorpio: Perpetual “emo phase”, internally or externally. Rarely talks about themselves. Can walk into a room and immediately understand the intentions and personality of each person in it, just by looking. Hard shell, soft insides. Their eyes are the only ones that light up and shine in gloomy weather. They can stare into your soul. Only sees things in black or white. Usually has great taste in music. Deeply loyal friends and partners to those they trust. Keeps a lot of secrets, both their own and of those they love.

Sagittarius: Fascinated by other cultures. Has or wants to travel to many different countries. Speaks at least three languages. Either deeply spiritual or religious. Ritualistic. Isn’t afraid to try new things. Loves mystery and adventure books. Very independent, and doesnt like feeling trapped. Has some sort of self-expressive medium that allows them to free their wings (art, music, dance, writing). Self-sufficient.

Capricorn: “Work hard, play hard” mentality. Typically very serious in nature. Always seems much more wise and mature than his peers. Has probably tried hard drugs at one point in his life. Firm in practices and beliefs. Good at keeping their word. Has one big obsession/hobby, like playing a certain game, collecting something, or working on something.

Aquarius: Has a very unique sense of humor that others don’t usually understand. Conspiracy theorist. Loves all helpless creatures and wants to protect them from the world. Activist and rebellious humanitarian. Insanely intelligent, but refuses to apply themselves to the school system. Learns very quickly. Good at public speaking. Probably the “class clown”.

Pisces: Stays home on weekends to sleep in. Has a dream diary. Typically pretty creative and may enjoy abstract painting. Musically gifted. Has been told that they “live in another world”. Slips easily into daydreams, and enjoys indulging in the fantasy worlds of books and stories that they read.

“My mother wasn’t the best person in the world.  She was hooked on heroin for most of my life.  She sold our childhood home for drug money.  She left me alone to raise my brother and disabled nephew.  I used to wake up every night to feed him and change his diapers.  I supported us all on the $5.15 an hour that I earned from the grocery store.  My mother passed away a few months ago, and I think I’m just now coming to terms with how awful she made my life.  This is the most stable I’ve ever been.  I have a permanent address.  I have someone who legitimately loves me.  But my anxiety has never been worse.  I’ve been having panic attacks recently.  I think I’ve never had to deal with the trauma because things were always coming at me.  And now I’m not sure how to handle the quiet.”

I came across this poster on Queen St. West in Toronto and I couldn’t look away. Posters such as these, strategically placed around the city are pushing people to question Canada’s dark, colonial history, as is the incredibly critical art being produced by Indigenous artists such as Kent Monkman and Rebecca Belmore. These artists, activists, thinkers and interventionists are destabilizing and dismantling biased, historical Canadian narratives.

In the decade or more of being in Canada, I have recently had the opportunity to establish close allyships with Indigenous friends. Through their research and lived experiences, I am learning about a side of Canada that I was not initially aware of. While the Canadian Citizenship book discusses our shameful history of residential schools, it presents a watered down version, summarized in undignified, short lines, mostly ending with, “Canada has since apologized.”

The abuse that was carried out on Indigenous children at these schools (the last residential school closed in 1996) was horrific and conveniently left out of textbooks. With more awareness around the topic, Canada’s internationally positive reputation is being challenged. Canada’s deputy minister of Indian Affairs Duncan Campbell Scott was quoted in 1920 to have said: “Our object is to continue until there is not a single Indian in Canada that has not been absorbed into the body politic.”

While an apology by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is a start, it is not enough. After all, actions speak louder than words. Grave injustices have been committed against Indigenous people. Erasure of language, culture and customs so as to benefit and serve colonial systems of oppression, unsolved cases of thousands of missing, murdered Indigenous women, increased likelihood of sexual assault on Indigenous women, an alarmingly high suicide rate amongst Indigenous youth and deplorable living conditions in some parts of Canada where Indigenous people reside. By deplorable I mean run down schools and homes and no access to clean, drinking water. How can we justify this while being one of the wealthiest countries in the world with a global reputation for excellence in living standards and human rights?

Far too often I hear fellow immigrants from my own community refer to Indigenous people as “drunks” and “criminals.”

“Oh these natives, they’re such a menace to Canadian society.”

“They get so much funding from the government. All their schooling is paid for.”

“They should be grateful and move on from the past. Look at the state of poor people in the third world countries we come from.”

“These people don’t know the first thing about oppression. They take all the money the government gives them and waste it on drugs and alcohol.”

It is ironic to see new immigrants settle on Canadian land while demonizing and othering the original custodians of this land.

Indigenous people have been dealing with institutionalized racism, discriminatory legislation and federal under-funding for over 100 years. As we mark our 150th birthday as a nation today, I hope that we can work toward addressing these important and urgent issues. Indigenous people are bearing the brunt of genocidal, colonial policies while the rest of us immigrating to Canada are reaping immense benefits such as world class healthcare and education, services that many of our Indigenous communities lack full access to. Our indifference and lack of awareness around these pressing matters has dire consequences for First Nations, Metis and Inuit people of Canada.

Today, on Canada’s 150th, I am stating a land acknowledgment for the first time in all these years of living, working, giving to and taking from Canadian land.

***I wish to acknowledge this land on which I currently reside and work. For thousands of years it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people and I am grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land. (Please correct me if I have stated this land acknowledgment inaccurately)

As a tribal daughter of the Indigenous Magsi clan in Balochistan, Pakistan, I stand in solidarity with my Indigenous brothers and sisters in Canada.

I wish you a safe, peaceful and more informed #Canada150 long weekend.

I screwed up my first year of high school. To some people, it doesn’t look like it. But with a combination of mental illness, not amazing friends and a lack of discipline, I’m glad I barely remember that. But that screw up of a year taught me more than any high school teacher could. Now let me share these things with you. Just a warning, this will most likely be a chaotic rambling of everything in my head.

Mental illness is a legitimate thing do not accuse someone of lying about their mental illness. Don’t do it. You can blame a lot of things on how you were young and stupid, but the question is, are you still being what you call ‘young and stupid’? Now is that a good thing or a bad thing? Learn to laugh at yourself. You do that by putting yourself in weird situations. Walking around the city in a onesie and bright pink vans was a great time. It made me more comfortable in my skin. Own yourself. Simplicity is beautiful. Trust me. You don’t need to get smashed at a party when you’re underage to have fun, trust me on this, I’ve seen way too many incredible people screw up such a great part of their lives by getting smashed at parties and doing drugs when they’re barely 13. Don’t. Beauty isn’t everything, you’ve got a brain. Use it. Such a unique mind shouldn’t go to waste due to societal expectations. You’ve got a heart that’ll melt even the coldest of minds. Find your escape. Books, music, painting, whatever. The world can be overbearing, don’t let it get to you.

Put your all into everything. Don’t half arse anything. If you think you’ve done enough, do it three more times. Check out three more websites. Go through your flashcards three more times. Three is a magical number. What do you enjoy? Okay good, do it often. Who cares if you can’t exactly put it on your resume. Sexuality is a thing, respect other people’s and don’t be ashamed of yours. Do things, but for the right reason. Don’t do a certain co curricular only because it’ll look good on your resume, do it because you enjoy it. Don’t stop doing something because you think other people are better than you. Maybe they are, but that doesn’t mean you can’t improve.

You’re going to change. You’ll never be the same person again. And that’s not a bad thing. But always remember, your mind is a compass pointing you to your final destination. And your final destination is the place where you draw your final breath. And you can ignore it all you want, but you’re going to die at some point. So stop wasting today being someone who you don’t want to be or not growing into the person you want to be, because life is dynamic. To the point where it will end but we have no idea when.

—  I found this in notes, I wrote this a year ago and it still stands.
Ray Theory

*SPOILERS FOR THE V ROUTE AND RAY’S REAL NAME BELOW YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED*

*Hey guys! Please give me feedback on my Ray Theory if you would like! Also please send a message if you have any theories about his case as well! I love conspiracy theories so I would love to hear from you all!

I would also like to stay that this is just a theory! If you suffer from any sot of mental disorder or DID please do not take any offense to this at all! If I am wrong about something please correct me! Thank you!*

Part 2 Here!

So, I just finished the V route and man do I have theories on this! I’m very hopeful that Ray will get a route as well and from what I’ve seen I think it’s inevitable that soon enough there will be. But, let’s get on with the theory.

So, I think it’s obvious from the dialogue that Ray has some… mental issues. Most likely due to extreme brainwashing, the elixir Mint-Eye provided, and trauma. He has a lot of extreme issues. But let’s talk about an interesting moment I discovered.

So in this moment, Ray claims to be in pain. When the MC asks what happened, he replies that he drank the elixir Rika gave him. He says that he logged on to forget the pain.

Later on the pain becomes overbearing and this is where it gets interesting.

He claims that “he” is here. Who you might ask, well none other than the one and only Unknown!

This is what got me thinking. We all know what Unknown looks like since he appears in the casual and deep stories. Ray and him are supposed to be one person, Saeran. But oddly, instead of being on entity, they appear to be two different personalities. Unknown claims that they take turns ”sleeping” and that he sleeps more often than Ray.

He also claims that he can hear Ray even when he’s asleep, so they both share the same mind and memories.

While Ray is the sweet and obsessive kind, he may show how he cares a little oddly but he has a soft spot for the MC and feels for her. But Unknown, he, like Ray, believes in everything the Savior has done for him but to an extreme extent. He has no deep feelings for the MC other than wanting her as his “assistant” to get his revenge on the RFA. He also is rougher and insults Ray. He seems to not care about anything other than the Mint-Eye.’

I mean even their appearances are completely different.

Ray has a more soft look to him, frilly even. It shows how he has a more caring and upbeat personality.

Unknown (Edgelord™) has an edgy style. It shows he’s rougher on the edges and has an “i don’t care” personality.

This is what brought me to my final conclusion that most of you have probably come to. Saran has a split personality disorder.

Cheritz, you really went all out in this route. So many questions about Saran were answered! Although not all, we got a new insight into him.

So, from what I can deter, Saeran suffers from a disorder more formally known as Dissociative Identity Disorder. Now this is only a theory, but could this game get any deeper? We all were aware that the people of Mint-Eye had many mental issues. Especially Saeran since he’s been exposed to this from a young age. When will we ever get to help him?

Now, for the information part of this theory. Dissociative Identity Disorder is very rare. it only affects approximately 1% of the population of the world. But studies show that children tend to have more cases than adults. This is usually caused by extreme trauma and the such.

This is where Rika comes into play. Rika, whether it be the drug, brainwashing, or something along those lines, also seems to have a type of personality issue. Though, hers is not to the extreme point of Saeran’s.

This DID case for Saeran most likely came to light from the so called elixir Rika had been making him take for years, since it triggers his other personality.

We saw Unknown in the common and deep stories, but it you look closely and reread, You can also point out some Ray aspects in Unknown’s personality, especially in Seven’s route.

Saran was put under the Ray persona due to Rika and her influence on him. He believes every word she says and due to this, he has not only gotten DID, but has also forgotten himself.

In conclusion, I hope that Cheritz considers making an Unknown route if they already don’t have one planned or in the works. I want to understand his mental disorders and learn how he came to be the way he is. What was his breaking point? When did Ray and Unknown make an appearance? How will his happy ending come? For now, let’s enjoy V’s route and cheer on Cheritz to make a Saeran route in the near future! Go give them some love!

I am a millennial. Generation Y. Born between the birth of Aids and 9/11, give or take. They call us the global generation. We are known for our entitlement and narcissism. Some say it’s because we’re the first generation where every kid gets a trophy just for showing up. Others think it’s because social media allows us to post every time we fart or have a sandwich for all the world to see. But it seems that our one defining trait is a numbness to the world; an indifference to suffering. I know I did anything I could to not feel: sex, drugs, booze. Just take away the pain. Take away my mother, my asshole father, the press, and all the boys I loved who wouldn’t love me back. Hell, I was gang raped. Two days later, I was back in class like nothing happened. I mean that must’ve hurt like hell, right? Most people never get over stuff like that and I was like, “let’s go for Jamba Juice”. I would give everything I have, or will ever have, just to feel pain again. To hurt.
