These are pictures of the village of Burdujeni today. There are two Jewish cemeteries which are relatively well-maintained. In honor of International Women’s Day, we feature tombstones of women in the photographs above.
None of the Burdujeni synagogues remain. Many of the Jewish residents owned small shops on the main street and some of these buildings are still standing.
