The thing that has carried on with me the whole way through this is, Why me? And I don’t know. I honestly don’t. But when you are doing a job and people believe in you and they listen to what you say and they care about how you feel—I felt like I became the best version of myself on set. When I’m playing Rey, it just feels right. It feels…fucking amazing. When I’m her, I’m like, ‘Yeah, I got this.

Happy Birthday to Seventeen’s maknae and high school senior, Lee Chan! We watched you grow up and go from middle school to high school. You’ve choreographed, sang, and rapped your way into my heart and so many other people’s heart. The one person capable some days working hard and sometimes hardly working. I hope you always stay happy and healthy because your smile is the brightest and you never be ashamed of what you love because Michael Chanson never fails to make me smile.

“I’ve written a few songs. I don’t know if they’re going to be on the album, I might change my mind. I have a rough idea of what I want the next album to be like, but I still haven’t really dove deep enough into it to really say that it’s exactly what I’m doing. So far what I’ve been writing is a lot more, it’s a little bit more wordy, and a little bit more lyrical, and almost hip hop-ish. Still within the sound as Cry Baby, but it’s a little bit more dirty.”
