56th Street - Peter Parker

request -  Hey, could you do a story where the reader (who doesn’t really know Peter but maybe they go to the same school?) finds one of Peter’s backpacks that he left behind and tries to find him to give it back to him? And maybe that happens more than one time and reader tries to solve this backpack mystery? Hope you can work with this messy idea, your blog’s name somehow gave me the idea.

a/n - this idea made me so happy!!!! (for obvious reasons LMAO) i tried to show his more dorky side in this fic and i’m sorry if it failed, but don’t forget to request a peter parker/spider-man fic if you’d like and follow!

I was walking down 53rd street, headphones in and heading home straight from work. I decided to take the short way home through a small alleyway, but was stopped when I almost tripped over something.

What the hell-” I thought to myself, looking down to see a small backpack. It seemed as if it was left here since the sun was going down and everyone was starting to head home for the day. My eyes then caught onto the zipper was broken from the side down.

Parker.” I huffed in my mind, recognizing the faulty zipper. This had marked the third time that I’ve found his backpack within the last month. Peter and I had never spoken to one another outside of Chemistry, and I never understood why he would be rushing out of school so quickly. Every time I found his backpack it would also be in the same place too, which I found odd.

I zipped his backpack up and looked at the tag on one of its straps.

20 Ingram Street.” I typed into my phone, slinging the backpack around my shoulder and following the directions that radiated off of the screen, luckily not being longer than a 10 minute walk.

MASTERLIST   <———–

__________________________________________________________________

All you wanted to do on this late Tuesday night was go down to the twenty-four hour shop and buy some gummy worms. Your hunger had been eating you up by the minute as you paced across your floor, debating your thoughts. You finally gave in to your grumbling stomach and hopped off your bed and out the door. Did your parents know you were out this late? No, because they were out this late at a work function, trusting you to be a good child and stay at home. But, did you listen? Of course not. Because your mind tended to flip from topic to topic, your sneaky thoughts always giving in.

So, you made the seven minute walk to the store. Seven minutes, that’s it. You would walk your hungry ass down happily all the way to the store, using your phone’s flashlight occasionally when approaching darkened areas on the streets, and walk in and buy your beloved gummy worms.

But now, you were certainly regretting that action. Once you turned the corner to continue your trek to your venture of a full stomach, you felt a presence take place quietly behind you. You didn’t dare turn around, an uneasy feeling filled your residence as you heard each footstep creep daringly behind you. Your pace quickened slightly as if on instinct, but you still stared dead on forward, continuing your now hopefully brisk walk to the store without company.

The deep breaths of the person slowed down, creeping closer and closer to your ear. Your blood began to run cold, fear hitting you suddenly like a truck as you thought to yourself, “Fuck, fuck, fuck, what do I do? Do I approach the seemingly creepy stranger, or do I pick my pace up as fast as I can and run my ass all the way there?”

Before your conscience decided what your heavily debated decision would be, you felt two hefty arms wrap themselves around your frame, yanking you off the ground.  Fear filled your eyes quickly, your heart beating at a rapid rate as you realized the situation you were in.

Your arms were being held tightly against your body, movement being stagnant at this point. Your legs flailed from your body as you felt a sweaty, dirty hand clamp itself over your mouth to hide your yet to be heard screams.

“Shh, shh. Stay quiet and give me all the fucking money you have or this won’t end well at all,” the stranger’s voice muttered in close proximity to your right ear, his breath hitting the side of your face as if a snake slithered along your jaw bone. You attempted to kick your legs back and forth, trying to wriggle out of his tight and horrid grasp on you, failing completely.

Running wasn’t option because you couldn’t. Yelling, screaming bloody murder for help wasn’t an option because you couldn’t. You couldn’t do anything. This psycho mugger was going to do god knows what to you and you had no fucking idea what to do.

In a split second, the mugger reached behind him, almost as if he was pulling out something to hold you down with while he stole every penny you had. Your eyes weren’t even filled with fear anymore, they were dazed with every frightful emotion you could possibly think of in the book.

But, before he could complete the task of pulling out some kind of weapon to scare you with, his grasp around you loosened completely as his body suddenly flew back, slamming into a pole. You immediately responded to the relieved feeling throughout your body, heaving a huge breath of air.

“Hey, buddy! Better think twice before attempting to mug someone in the middle of the night again!”

Your head snapped behind you, eyes widening to the size of saucers as the man who a just a few seconds ago had you in a death hold, was now trapped against the street-light, a spider-like web holding him in place. As he struggled to get out of his now death hold, your head moved in the the direction of a new presence taking place near you. Your eyes land on a red and blue suit standing on the building above you, mouth opening wide open at the person standing, well above you.

Spider-Man. He saved you.

Your stomach did a flip as the superhero stood clear as day, right in front of you. His black and white eyes looked down at your form, standing underneath the dim street-light and he smiled in his mask at your presence. He leaped down from the building, landing on the sidewalk in front of you. Your stature stood entirely still as he walked closer to you, shock filling your insides.

His lanky body walked towards you, his mask moving slightly as he asked you, “Are you okay?”

His concerned voice hit your heart and you melted, hating that someone could affect you like that. You just nodded your head slightly as you moved closer to the hero.

“Need a lift?”

__

“Thank you so much for saving me,” you spoke to him as soon as you gained composure after everything that’s happened. But, nervousness still rubbed your voice as you stood before him, outside your room on the fire escape.

He leaned against your bedroom window, folding his arms across his chest, “You’re welcome.”

Your face tinged pink at his casual yet sultry attitude towards the matter. You breathed a huge sigh before sitting on the small bench, your mind still running with thoughts of tonight’s previous events. Your head popped up at the sound of him moving from leaning against your window to walking towards you, “Can I just ask why you were out this late on a Tuesday night?” his voice scratchy and suspicious as his head tilted to the side almost trying to be amusing.

A slight smile spread across your face at his actions, chucking a little before responding, trying your best not to sound like a complete dumb ass, “I was hungry. Like, really hungry,” you emphasized the word really before continuing. p>

“I just wanted some gummy worms from that twenty-four hour store seven blocks away. Which obviously wasn’t the best idea.”

You finished, realizing that your attempt to not sound stupid completely failed you as Spider-Man leaned his head back, emitting a deep chuckle at your story.

“Obviously,” he muttered slyly, resting his hands on his hips.

Holy fuck.

“Hey Peter, you know that using the ‘Stark Internship’ card can’t get you away from everything, right?” you questioned your once again late lab partner in the middle of sixth period.

He sighed, rolling his eyes and sitting down next to you, “Obviously.”

You knew you’d heard that unrecognizable voice from somewhere. The scratchy yet slightly high voice rang in your ears so evidently it was almost as if someone had blown a bull horn in your ear.

Your eyes enlarged as the realization slapped you in the face. You didn’t think twice before shooting straight up from your spot, hands by your sides before yelling in exasperation, “PETER?”

“What?” he questioned, darting your way at the sudden sound of his name, not realizing he’d been caught. Once he saw your mouth agape like a fish, his eyes widened behind his mask, defeat taking over.

Your finger immediately shot up, pointing at him as you got closer to him. He saw your actions and backed away quickly, you two moving in circles for minutes before you shouted, “Oh my god it is you!”

He ripped his mask off and ran closer to you, both hands set on your shoulders as he began to shake your entire frame from shock, “Y/N you have to promise me won’t say anything to anyone!”

His wispy brown hair fell in front of his forehead, bright brown eyes staring directly into your Y/E/C ones. The fear and guilt radiated off his body you could sense it against you, your cheeks tinting pink at his sudden vulnerable state.

“I promise, Peter. I won’t,” you swore, truth flooded his ears and he began to felt somewhat ease with the you wide eyes standing in front of him.

He let you go and walked to stand next to you, arms leaning against the railing, a sigh emitting from his figure. You followed his actions your body becoming tired from all of tonight’s happenings.

Wait, why did this make him even cuter than before?

You laughed to yourself your weariness getting the best of you, causing you to think exceedingly truthful all of the sudden. You leaned over and saw his exhausted expression, knowing he never meant to let his secret let go so easily.

You nudged him with your shoulder, turning towards him, “If it makes you feel any better, having Peter Parker save me from a mugger was at the top of my bucket list.”

He looked in your direction, a smile spreading his pink lips, eyes smiling with it as he realized that as of right now, Peter was greater than Spider-Man.

And you knew it too.

Marichat May Day 21: Akuma Marinette

Oh welp, this sucks, but whatever.

Chat suck in a breath as he watched the scene unfolding before his eyes. The many people caught in the akuma’s trance were quickly engulfed by flames and turned into soldiers kneeling down and swearing loyalty to her. So far he gathered she had mind control powers along with this trick of making a personal army.

Marinette.

He clenched his jaw. Where in the world was Ladybug? He had waited for her for half an hour now and it was driving him insane. She must have had seen n akuma was on the loose and a strong one at that. His tail twitches anxiously as he took another glance down. He couldn’t wait anymore. This was Marinette, he had to do something. He took a deep breath and jumped off the building, landing gracefully in the middle of the street. The many soldiers were ignoring him, not even looking in his direction. But the akuma stopped walking.

“Marinette.” he called, his voice echoing through the dead silent street.

He heard a snort. When she turned around, Chat bit his tongue to keep from gasping. She didn’t even have a mask on like other akumas. The only visible difference was that she was paler than usual. But that aside, one would never guess there was an akuma before them. Just Marinette in a beautiful red and golden dress.

“I have a title, Chat Noir. It is Princesse Phénix. Marinette is no longer here.”

Oh, I doubt that, Chat thought as he began walking towards her, slowly.

“Are you going to fight me?” the akuma asked, the red and black cape of her dress floating in the wind, making it look almost like she had wings. She was breathtaking, but he didn’t have time to write an ode to her beauty right now. She needed his help.

“I’m not here to fight you, Princess.” she raised an eyebrow as Chat got closer and made a curt bow. “I am here to declare my loyalty. After all, I was your first knight.” he got on one knee and bowed his head, hoping this plan will work. He tried to not tense up very much as she walked towards him, stopping only centimeters away.

“Stand up.”

He did as she ordered, not quite sure what to expect. He certainly didn’t expect the loving look. She cupped his face gently and began stroking his cheeks.

“Minou. My loyal kitten.”

There was a tenderness in her voice that surprised him even further. That was Marinette. Not Princesse Phénix. He needed to help her. His eyes scanned her fastly, trying to figure out where the akuma could be. Not the dress for sure. And she had no jewelry on, besides her signature earrings. Could those be? They didn’t look different at all. His eyes locked on the golden phoenix headpiece. More specifically, on a ribbon that had no place being there. He returned his gaze to her eyes, still glancing at him lovingly and he put on his best smile.

“Can this loyal kitty get a kiss, ma princesse?”

He tried to not get distracted when Marinette lips touched his. She tasted like vanilla and strawberries and he wondered for a second if that was the case when she wasn’t an akuma as well. But he didn’t have time for that. He wrapped his right arm around her waist, pulling her closer as he lifted his left to her hair, untying the ribbon as well as he could. She didn’t seem to notice, as she still kissed him. Bringing the ribbon behind her back, he broke the kiss.

“Chat?” she asked in pure confusion. He could have sworn it was as if the akuma effect wore off.

He snapped the ribbon open and to his surprise, a white butterfly flew out and a swarm of ladybugs engulfed Marinette, making her outfit and complexion return to normal before going along the street and turning everyone else back to normal. What in the world was that? How could this happen?

“Chat?”

He glanced down to see Marinette frowning and looking around confused and even a little bit dizzy. She was back! He grasped her shoulders, making sure she won’t fall over. He gave her what could possibly be the biggest smile ever before pulling her into a tight hug.

“Welcome back, Marinette.”

“I’m connecting to your phone, now.” Karen’s robotic voice filled my ears. “Playing video footage.”

My vision was filled with Y/N’s smiling face as we walked in the park. Her hair was blowing in the wind and the light that was hitting her face made her look like an angel.

“Peter! Put that away! I look hideous right now.” She exclaimed in the video. As if she could ever look hideous.

Not Again Part 1 [Peter Parker x Reader]

Summary: When Peter Parker is called in by the Avengers, the last thing he expects is to come face to face with his first love who disappeared five years ago. The question is: What happened to [Y/N]?

Word Count: 1086

Warnings: Mentions of kidnapping and torture, badly-written angst

15 year old Peter Parker was lying in his bed, surrounded by pages of Algebra homework. The day had taken its toll on him, so he had fallen asleep halfway through his work. His head was resting on his pillow, his curls falling down his face as he snored lightly.

Ring.

Ring.

“AH!” Peter jumped up, startled by his phone. He quickly rubbed his eyes and reached over to his desk where his phone was buzzing. Without looking at the number, Peter picked up and answered.

“Hello?” he said groggily.

“Peter!” The voice was male and energetic. It was also familiar.

“M-Mr. Stark?” Peter asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

“The one and only,” Tony replied. “Now, we have a bit of a situation over at Avengers tower and we could use your help.”

“We?” Peter said, his eyes widening.

“Yep. The Avengers. Now get here ASAP.”

“Yes! Of course Mr. Stark, I’ll be right there!” Peter said, but Tony had already hung up.

“The Avengers need me,” Peter whispered to himself, a smile growing on his face. He jumped out of his bed, tripping on a pair of shoes, and ran to his closet. In the back of his closet was a lockbox with his suit in it. Peter dug to the back of his closet, pulled out the box, and got his suit. He was so excited that he accidentally put it on inside out.

“Crap.” When he finally got it on, he ran to his window and jumped out of it, shooting a web to the building across the street.

“Woohoo!” Peter exclaimed, swinging through the streets of Queens. It took him five minutes to reach Avengers tower. He stopped on the roof of a building across the street from the tower.

“Do I swing up to the top or go in through the front door?” Peter contemplated. “I guess through the front door since it would weird if they had to unlock a window to let me in.” Peter carefully climbed down the building, landing on the concrete sidewalk. He walked to the edge of the sidewalk before stopping because the light was red. He whistled to pass time, ignoring the stares he was attracting from pedestrians. When the light turned green he look both ways, crossed the street, and walked into the tower. He saw Tony in the lobby, waiting for him.

“Oh hey Mr. Stark!” Peter waved at him.

“Spider-man!” said Tony. “Welcome to Avengers tower.”

“Awesome,” Peter said to himself.

“We’ll do a tour later, right now we have business to attend to.” They took the elevator up to the fifteenth floor where the Avengers were waiting for them. Peter took off his mask in the elevator so the team could meet him face to face.

“Nervous?” Tony asked.

“Well I’ve met some of them before. Not officially, but it counts. But yeah,” Peter rambled.

“Alright, kid,” Tony said, patting Peter on the back. “Showtime.” They reached the fifteenth floor and the doors of the elevator opened. Peter stepped out and saw eight people standing in front of him. Black Widow, Hulk, Thor, Vision, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, and Captain America.

“Good to see you again, kid,” Captain America said, stepping forward and reaching out his hand. Peter’s eyes widened and he quickly grabbed Steve’s hand and shook it.

“C-Captain America,” Peter said.

“Call me Steve.” A huge smile broke out on Peter’s face.

“I-I’m Peter man- I mean Spider parker- I mean-”

“His name is Peter Parker,” Tony jumped in. Peter’s cheeks tinted red and he scratched the back of his neck.

“Peter,” Steve said. “This is Natasha, Bruce, Thor, Vision, Sam, Wanda, and Clint.” Steve pointed to the rest of the team behind him. The Avengers wore kind smiles and waved at him welcomingly.

“Hey everyone,” Peter said, shyly.

“As much as we want to chat with you,” Natasha said, “we have her in the other room.”

“Who?” Peter asked, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion.

“You’ll see,” Tony said, leading Peter into the next room. In the middle of it was a glass cage. She was sitting in the corner of the cage, curled up in a ball so small that Peter almost hadn’t noticed her. She lifted her head only slightly, but Peter caught a glimpse of her face.
“[Y/N]?” Her head fully snapped up and they locked eyes.

“Peter?” She whispered. Peter ran over to the cage, putting his hand on the glass. She stood up and walked over to him. Peter looked at her closely, taking the cuts and bruises scattered across her face. Her hair was frizzy and all over the place, and her clothes were ripped.

“[Y/N] what happened to you?” Peter asked, his eyes full of sorrow.

“You two know each other?” A voice piped in from behind them. It was Wanda. “We just brought you here because you were the same age. We thought you might get through to her.” Peter turned around to face her.

“We were best friends in elementary school, but the first day of sixth grade, she disappeared.” He paused. “What do you mean get through to her?” From behind the glass, [Y/N] started to laugh. But it wasn’t the laugh Peter used to love, it was something darker, something evil.

“[Y/N]?” Peter asked, his voice a mix of worry and fear. [Y/N]’s eyes slowly turned dark black. The laughter continued as she sank to her knees, banging her fists on the floor.

“[Y/N] stop!” Peter yelled, but he was pulled back by Tony.

“I’m going to kill you all!” She screamed. “I’m going to kill you all!” She began to bang on the glass. A single tear ran down Peter’s cheek as he saw her state. He loved her. And he never got to tell her before she disappeared. He thought he was going to get a second chance, but this wasn’t his [Y/N].

“It was Hydra,” Bruce spoke up. “They kidnapped her, killed her parents, and experimented on her. She’s a weapon.”

“Is any part of her still in there?” Peter asked hopefully.
“We don’t know,” said Natasha. “We knew you’re her age, so we thought maybe she would feel less threatened when we tried to talk to her with you in the room.”

“We have to keep trying.” Peter stated firmly.

“Peter-” Tony began.

“If there’s even a one percent chance she’s in there we have to keep trying,” Peter said. “I’m not losing her, not again.”

Part 2

Sleeping on the Couch

Ok, so this one is full of fluff. I felt like that was necessary after that first one.

This is another Peter Parker x reader, and again, I’ve left it open to avoid the use of [Y/N.]

Summary: Both reader and Peter have been friends for many years. As time has passed and they’ve matured, so have their feelings for one another. Those feelings come to fruition in the midst of a storm.

The friggin’ amazing @killaren made me this beautiful moodboard to go with this story and I need you all to see it:

As you pulled out your phone and found his number in your contacts list, you walked down the busy sidewalk, looking at the sky above you, watching as it darkened; the wind beginning to shift, blowing a few loose pieces of hair into your face. You remembered vaguely hearing something about a line of severe storms set to blow through over the weekend. The people around you began to hustle, picking up the pace as the first sound of rumbling from overhead disturbed the air.

After four rings, he picked up, “Hello?” You couldn’t help but to smile at the sound of his voice.

“Hey, Peter, what time do you want me to head over?” Another clap of thunder sounded above you, the wind beginning to really whip up; you dodged a swirling clump of trash as it tore past you along the curb. You spat a particularly irritating chunk of hair from between your lips.

Day Three | Part 3

Summary: You have a crush on Peter, but Peter has eyes for someone else. Will you ever get the boy of your dreams or will you have to remain friends and move on?

Characters: Peter Parker (Tom Holland) x Reader

Warnings: None

Word Count: 1,274

A/N: I’m on a roll guys!! I would also like to thank every single one of you for sending me feedback and loving everything so far. I haven’t been this excited to write, in a really long time, so thank you! Part two can be found here.

It was Twin Day at school today and you had coordinated with Michelle to be punk rockers. Typical theme, but it got the job done. In the morning, you both pestered Ned to take pictures of the both of you. Ned, however, was missing his twin, Peter, who hadn’t shown up to school yet. You didn’t see him leave the building this morning or the train. You thought he would be here with all the excitement that happened yesterday with him. It wasn’t also typical for Peter Parker to be skipping school, maybe Tony Stark had just kept him for the day, and the school excused him.

As the warning bell rang to get to class, Liz out of all people approached you.

“(Y/N)! Do you know where Peter is? I want to talk to him about Homecoming,” she said.

“No, I haven’t seen him this morning. None of us had. You should try ringing him,” you said.

“I did, he didn’t pick up. Oh well. Thanks,” and with that Liz was on her way to homeroom and so were you and Michelle.

Getaway near Moreni, Romania

Contributed by Dragos

I built this cabin with my dad during the summer days of 2016. I wanted so much to have a place where I can spend a night with my friends, so I’ve bought a piece of land on the hillside. I’m so grateful that I had the possibility of buying the land and building the cabin with my father in those hot summer days. It was beautiful :) Every time I get home, that place is my peace of heart place.

like flying, like falling

I got the loveliest @edendaphne as a part of a little gift exchange! I wanted to do something for sidekick!Adrien au, especially based off a few of her wonderful drawings! Thank you @powerdragonmoon for your help, and thank you @baneismydragon for pulling this together!

“It’s just like flying, I swear.”

Ladybug eyes the motorcycle purring quietly away beneath Chat’s hands with doubt.

“When you said I was going to be entertained, this isn’t what I imagined,” she says, hands on her hips. Her eyes follow the blades of silver light running along the polished, black metal of the motorcycle’s solid frame, up to the point where Chat’s leather-clad leg bisects the view as he braces his feet against the ground. Her gaze travels up, instead, to the sleek leather of his tight pants, to the tailored, fitted cut of his bulletproof jacket.

The thing about leather is that it leaves little to the imagination- little, but just enough…

“Want to ride me?” Chat offers.

Ladybug can see the way her jaw drops open at the suggestion, reflected in the mirror-clean visor of Chat’s helmet. The visor slides up with a sharp click in the next second, revealing his green eyes, acid-bright in the night and comically wide in panic.

“Ride with me, with me,” he squeaks, voice cracking in his haste to correct himself. He coughs, and hurriedly adds, “It’s super safe, I promise.”

Except that Chat’s definition of safe is often way off base from her own. Ladybug still vividly remembers the one time he leaped off a building and landed on his moving motorcycle with a wild, exhilarated whoop that did not match the rush of sheer terror that jammed her heart up her throat at the time. She’s pretty sure he knocked off at least five years off her lifespan in that single moment.

Still, when his hand unfolds out toward her, she takes it without a second thought.

“Like flying, you said?”

“Hey, you’ve got your magical supersuit,” he laughs. “These are my wings.”

Ladybug can feel the moment she gives in as his eyes sparkle at her. She swings a leg over the motorcycle and settles in snugly behind Chat, wriggling until her front is pressed to his back. Her hands take their time ghosting up his hips and around his lean waist; even through the leather, she can feel his pulse quicken, can see when his breath hitches in his throat even as he slides his visor back down.

“Alright handsome boy,” she purrs into his ear, underscoring the heavy beat of his thundering heart. “Show me what you’ve got.”

The motorcycle stirs beneath them before awakening with a roar. Chat kicks off, and then only the wind catches Ladybug’s delighted shrieks as they race down the empty city streets.

Riding his motorcycle always fills Chat’s veins with adrenaline, but Ladybug’s exhilarated laughter and warm, possessive hold around him makes him feel positively electric. The city passes by them in flashes as they travel along the lightning of the moment.

“Enjoying yourself?” Chat yells back at her.

Her grip around him tightens, and the way her hands splay over his chest is not entirely necessary for her safety, but is utterly capable of producing a flush that shudders over his whole body.

“Definitely!” she yells against the wind, the teasing grin audible in her voice. “But if you wanted flying, then I can do one better.”

- - -

“This is falling,” Adrien argues. His helmet and motorcycle rest in a tucked away alleyway, safe from any curious passerby and woefully far from the high rooftop he and Ladybug stand on.

“You coming, chaton?” Her yoyo swings in lazy circles as she beckons him over to her with her free hand. He comes, irresistibly drawn to her like a magnet.

“My turn to show you how it’s done,” Ladybug laughs. Her yoyo snaps back to her hip before she turns around and offers her back, gesturing clearly for him to hop on.

He slowly steps right up behind her, savouring the way her muscles tense at his proximity. His breath ghosts along her neck, raising goosebumps, before he murmurs, “Ready?”

Before she can answer, he jumps up and wraps himself around her back, hooking his legs over her hips and slinging his arms over her shoulders. He laughs, a shit-eating grin on his face, as Ladybug curses and stumbles at the sudden weight. She quickly finds her balance again and straightens up, turning her head to the side so he can see the unimpressed look on her face. Mischief glitters bright in her the sky of her eyes though, betraying her amusement.

“Dirty trick,” Ladybug comments.

“Nothing dirty about it,” Adrien assures her with a wink. He chuckles against her neck as she turns to face the front again with a huff, a blush rising from the high collar of her suit. His hold around her tightens as she braces a hand under one of his legs and unhooks her yoyo from her hip with the other.

“Don’t scream,” she reminds him.

“Not a problem.” Then, as her yoyo begins spinning before them, he asks, “Do I even weigh anything to you?”

“Nah, it’s like holding a couple of grapes,” Ladybug laughs. Despite the levity of her answer, heat pools at the bottom of Adrien’s stomach as he marvels at her strength, at the way she effortlessly, easily holds him up. Before he can worry about the unexpected turn of his thoughts, her yoyo whips out, hooks onto a nearby rooftop, and launches them into the air, saving him from himself.

He’s watched her fly over the cityscape dozens, hundreds of times, through camera feeds he’s hacked into from his computer, and through the dark visor of his helmet when he rides out into the streets to help her. Ladybug is nothing but purposeful and sure in her every move, her every step. He’s seen it, over, and over, and over again.

But feeling it is something else entirely. Even with his added weight, she lands and leaps with total control, with an ease and confidence to be envied. They soar up into the clear night air, high enough until they seem like the only two people in the world with all the city laid before them.

The wind flying by on the long drop down claims Adrien’s wild, ecstatic whoop. When his eyes begin to water from the speed, he buries his head into the crook of Ladybug’s neck, laughter still spilling over in his giddiness.

“I still don’t know if I’d call this flying,” he says, his lips tracing her skin. He can feel her swallow as his words press on her neck, can feel the way she falters ever so slightly as she swings them both down to land on the solid ground of a rooftop. Emboldened, he gives a little nip, smiling at her quiet gasp, before humming, “It’s falling.”

Ladybug stills, her muscles tense, her breaths coming in quick and hot. That can be blamed on adrenaline and exertion- but not entirely.

Adrien murmurs, “I’m still falling.”

His steel-toed boots hit the ground and Ladybug turns on him like fire unleashed, grabbing his collar and pulling him down into a deep kiss that has him not flying, not falling, but floating and seeing stars. He wastes no time in winding his hands around her slim waist, his fingers tracing the curved red pattern of her suit.

“That was so cheesy,” Ladybug groans breathlessly as they break apart.

“It worked,” he grins as she pulls the zipper of his jacket down.

“If you’re free enough to talk, you’re free enough to make good on your promise to me earlier,” she reminds him, her hands diving beneath his jacket to trace hard muscle beneath the thin black turtleneck. Her fingers rake over his stomach and she grins as she feels him gasp at her touch.

Instead of coming onto her strong like she expects, Adrien lifts her chin up with a hand and captures her lips in a soft, slow kiss. The unexpected tenderness completely wipes her mind blank as she sinks into him, heat simmering low in her belly. His hand tangles into her hair and just as she begins to relax, he gives a sharp, authoritative tug, pulling a moan from her throat as her head rears back.

Ladybug’s hands bunch the bottom of his turtleneck up in frustration, but she gives as good as she gets as she hooks her fingers into his belt loops and pulls his hips flush against hers, startling a groan from Adrien.

Undeterred, his head dips down, lavishing attention onto whatever bare skin he can reach. He leaves a necklace of kisses and hickeys around her throat for her to wear. His grip on her hair tightens when she tries to lean forwards to kiss him again, leaving him free to take his time planting kisses along her cheeks, her forehead, the corners of her mouth, everywhere but where she wants it most.

He gets closer and closer then always denies her, until a frustrated whine finally escapes her.

With Ladybug’s short hair and long ribbons hopelessly tousled from his hands, her cheeks flushed a bright red, and her eyes burning fever bright in excitement and want, Adrien grins as he leans forward to purr into her ear.

“How’s that for entertainment?”

Dear archy. I've noticed in most of North American architecture we tend to carve the land to fit the building, instead of designing a building to fit the land. Do you have any good examples of North American architecture that conforms to the landscape instead of cutting into it? I'm kind of a huge fan of yours and I've used your posts and asks as inspiration for more than a few of my projects. Thanks!

PART [1] [3] [4] [5] [6]

It was a long ride to New York and you were awakened around the afternoon to find the owner of the bus tapping you.

“Miss, this is the last stop.”

You groaned and hoisted, nodding at the old man and resumed on walking out of the bus. The city of New York was eventful, and you couldn’t help but gawk at how optimistic the people are here. In Gotham, people feared for their lives but here you could see children moving around freely, stands that aren’t broken and everything that is the opposite of Gotham.

You separated the hood that was covering your face off. People here don’t really know much about Gotham so why bother cover up like some paparazzi would start taking picture of you. The rumbling of your stomach disturbed your fantasy, and you started to find some restaurant or whatever eatery that could provide you food for your hunger. Your luck remained beside for you as you found a hotdog stand in a distant. You paid for the hotdog that was on a stick with ketchup that accessorized it. You sat on a bench that was shaded by a tree and started to eat the food. While eating you brought out your cellphone.

And to your fear he texted you.

“Shit, now he would start find me. Better keep a low profile now,” you winced at the thought. You always loved attention and just having a low profile is hard for the formal serial killer.  You threw the phone at the earth and started stomping on it, which made some civilians gaze at you with oddness. You just wanted to stare back at the people and threat but you reminded yourself that you’re trying a new life as a rational person once again.

“There, no tracing me.” You muttered but then you grasped at the reality. “Fuck, now I don’t have a phone…”

You heaved a sigh and clutched your bag and roamed around for a while, trying to find a cheap hotel before you get a job. But then life teases you so much as you made another turn and saw a Mall with an Apple Shop.  You smirked, “Maybe stealing for a second wouldn’t hurt.”

Dragging the hood and is now covering your face, you arrived at the mall in silence. You passed the security with a little trick that Jerome taught you once, just thinking about that name made you wince. As you passed, the guards nod and you’re now almost free to steal hundreds of things in this mall but an IPhone is the only thing you needed for now. Maybe a MacBook too, it was a good decision so you included it at the list to steal in your head.

You entered the shop, and examined for any security cameras. “Of course there would be,” you murmured as you sighted three.

You then went to a laptop, which was not occupied and sneakingly hacked the system and deactivated the cameras one by one. Now your next plan, which you weren’t proud, had, consist of aiming a pistol towards the cashier.

“I need a phone dear, the latest one. And if you don’t hand it over to me I’ll—” you shot one person at the head that was trying to escape.  “Do that to you,” you spoke. Aiming once again to the cashier. “Y-yes sir!” she complied and proceeded to give you an IPhone, “Also give me one of the MacBook Air.” The cashier once again nodded and gave you the bag of the laptop. You proceeded to put the box to your backpack but then heard the girl calling 911. You rolled your eyes then shot her but then you heard the speakers of the mall alarming people.

You took your time but then you heard someone behind you. “Whoa man, stop right there.”

Turning back you saw a man dressed up in a spider suit which was odd because spiders couldn’t possible have red and blue color at the same time, right?

“The fuck is this, child’s play?” you thought out loud. “I wouldn’t think of that if I were you sir.” He then proceeded to shoot some web trying to get the gun but you managed to toss it and catch it with your other hand, you were completely surprised. People in New York have supernatural abilities? This will probably be harder than you thought it would be. You then shot the glass wall and dived in and continued on running, gripping the two bags tightly. The spider boy continued to chase you, you tried to lose him but he was too fast. You started to climb a ladder of a building. You were really talented on gymnastics and parkour because of your job in the circus with Jerome.

When you were now at the rooftop spider boy was there, stretching.

Mister you need to give that back!” you could almost imagine him beaming in triumph. You grumbled then sprint towards him, which made him, shock for a moment but then recovered back, you proceeded to engage a fight with him. You swing some punches to him and tried to kick him, which he kept dodging. Unfortunately, he was too quick and when you avoided one of his fists your hood fell and revealed your ponytailed/hair.

Y-You’re a girl?!” he gasped but then you managed to kick him on the chest and made a run for it. But when you were about to jump off the building and land to another one with such a great distance. Spider boy achieved to fire some webs on your leg when you jumped and tugged you towards him and proceeded to shoot some webs on all of your limbs, straining you. Preventing you to flee. You wriggled frustration is getting you.

“LET ME GO YOU FUCKING HERO WANNA BE SPIDER!”

“W-whoa! Calm down ma’am.” He brought out both of his hand and raised it beside him in a mocking manner. “If you didn’t stole, you wouldn’t been in this situation.”

The man in spider suit advanced picked the bag and the other bag, which has the laptop in it, hopefully it didn’t broke “Let me just get this and call the police—“

JEROME! PLEASE DON’T DO THIS TO ME!”

The man stared at you as you started to cry and shout he was confused on why you were acting like that. A trick? No, it seems genuine.

JEROME!”

The cops dragged you at the station while you were crying and freaking out. “Madam, that man is a psychopath. He could never love you, he brought you in this situation and you chose to believe him and now this is the punishment.”

NoJ loves me he loves me! He wouldn’t leave me in this son of a bitch jail…. JEROME!” you said, struggling. Some of your faith was vanished when the police said those words. No, he couldn’t possibly abandon you here. Isolated. Few ticks ago, you and Jerome slaughtered most of the children and some parents in a birthday party. One of the neighbors overheard it and called the police leaving you unalert but Jerome knew this. So when you started to blow a punch on one of the children on the face, Jerome said that he would be back with a surprise. This is the second time both of you had a murder spree, so you could call yourself novice. You nodded, grinning at him and heard the door shut.  You continued on punching, stomping, having the time of your life and releasing all of the stress that was buckled up inside you.

You heard someone unlocked the door and you turned back smiling, “Jerome! This is fun!”

But it wasn’t Jerome you saw. It was three cops raising their guns at you. Now, you could easily escape this now but you weren’t witty back then. And that lead to the condition you were, in a cold prison. How did you get out? An acquaintance of Jerome and you from the circus helped you abscond. It was successful but when she said that you shouldn’t do it again and that Jerome is a bad deal you didn’t consider her advice. The next day you went to the circus to find Jerome with a brunette playing some games.

Mr. J!” you called out, they both turned around. The girl was angelic looking but had an aura around her that you didn’t like, when you glanced at Jerome. You swore he looked disappointed but rapidly covered it up. “Oh hey (Y/N)!” No sweet calls, no welcome back. As if he didn’t care you getting sealed up in the dungeon of a jail for five months, no hugs, no anything. Your heart stopped; this was the first time your heart broke due to love. “Who’s she?” the girl inquired Jerome.

“She’s a close friend of mine, hun.” You stared at him, eyes like saucer. “Please excuse us for a moment.”

You were about to speak up for yourself when he held your hand and dragged you in a well dim place. He looked at you, smiled. “I’m happy you’re out darling.” This gave you hope, a small smile managed to creep on to your face. “Don’t worry about her, bug.  She is just my new play toy, I still love you so much. Now be quiet of our relationship darling, it will ruin the fun.” He whispered and pecked your lips, it was quick which you were disappointed about but at least he gave some of his attention.

Right?

After that, he continued to do that same act again. Making you trust him, but smash it, then having an affair with another woman but claims that the female is another toy to him and you’re his soul mate.

“Jerome, don’t leave me…. I’m sorry for being a pain in the ass, I’m sorry for disturbing your torture, I’m sorry for asking too many question about the different girls you brought in the house! I just want you to stay Jerome…”

Spiderman looked at you confused but gloomy at the same time.  He wondered what happened to your past life that made your life so miserable. He assumed it was this “Jerome” person you were confessing about. He started to believe that you didn’t seem to be a bad person at all. Well being a homicidal person is unhealthy and awful but you seemed just mentally ill and had a hard time on your life. He couldn’t believe it but he is actually convinced that you can be cured. He pondered to whether give you to the police or just probably help you cope up and have a sane life. He felt sympathy. You seemed really afraid of being in jail; all people are but you in different case.

He sighed, “I’m going to regret this.”

Spiderman!” he heard the cops call out. He then proceeded to slide down the building, landing gracefully on top of the car of the police. “Did you manage to capture the burglar?” the fat police said, while the other police searched for the robber.

“Sorry o-officer…” he gulped. He wasn’t really a good liar; he just hoped they bought it. “The thief escaped. I’m really sorry.”

The policeman sighed, “Well… It happens, not all heroes could do their job perfectly.” He winced, his reputation decreasing.

“Alright, I’ll just go…” he answered back, swinging and jumping back at the building. He saw you passed out, in exhaustion probably.

“Spiderman, helping a criminal. What a news, I just hope I wouldn’t get caught…” He anticipated, detaching his mask. He wiped his sweat and looked at the sunset, then back to you. “What was I thinking?…” Peter walked towards you and kneels down. “Well… Off we go miss criminal, I guess?” he questioned to himself before putting his mask on and picking you up then going back to his and his Aunt May’s apartment.  He was just thankful that Aunt May was on a vacation the one and only Tony Stark.

Two people have been asking me to tag them if the new part is out so: @adidabach @peppermint-17

If you want to be tagged at the next part (including the people I just tagged now.) Just comment!

so there are a lot of hornets around my town right now and im not sure why but they were everywhere at my school. i go to large, college campus sized highschool so basically you have to walk to every class, and i swear theres a hornets nest on every building. it started off being a minor issue, i only saw about two or three a day, but about a month ago it started to get out of hand. i was walking to the busses and all i heard was people yelling and the distant buzzing of hornets flying around. it was like that for a few weeks and nothing was being done about it. they were on campus and in classrooms. you couldnt walk to a building without a hornet landing on someones bag or hearing screams of freshmen running from them. its finally cold, so theyre gone now, but it was surreal to see teachers walk around and do nothing about the demon hornets buzzing around the school.
