bug of my heart

Have you ever found yourself wanting a metric ton of DAI music? Have you ever thought to yourself, aw man, DAI’s soundtrack was 15 hours shorter than I wanted it to be? If that sounds like you, then this is a link for you.

I’ve ripped all the music from this game - that is, all the ambient snippets of music that you hear while running around in the world, and all the music that happens in cutscenes - and it turns out there’s 16 hours (1.6 gigs) of it.

(- here’s the download link -)

So if you’ve found yourself wishing you had the heaps of music that never made it to the official soundtrack, you can now roll around in hours of it.

Okay so…I was re-watching a few episodes to study several of Paris’ buildings, but this screenshot is just??? Like, srsly, look @ these children!! Throughout their run upstairs none of them falter to smile at each other after being reunited. It’s one of the most adorable scenes ever and I cannot believe I didn’t see this ‘til now! I’M- (●´□`)ノ♡

Despite the season’s best efforts to woo me with cakes and cookies and pies (even those coming out of my own kitchen), I’ve been doggedly drawn to savories this winter. I crave soups and broths, piles of steaming veggies and stews, anything to stave off the cold (I know, I’m in Los Angeles—but these walls and windows aren’t built for 50º weather!). This weekend, though, the holiday cookie bug snuck its way into my heart. You know the urge, that longing to get cozy with your oven whilst donning your most well-worn sweats and grooving to the best holiday tunes you can find. Yup, that one.

I grew up making two kinds of holiday cookies, recipes that were my mother’s family heirlooms: raspberry linzertorte bars and pecan snowball cookies (or Russian or Mexican wedding cookies, depending who you ask). Suddenly, in the midst of my reigning savory preference, I decided it was high time to make some snowballs. Except I wanted mine laced with the fragrance of jasmine and bright with matcha green tea.

Ladyvengers AU (3/?)Agent Chloe Barton - Codename: HAWKEYE

From soldier to mercenary to spy, Chloe Barton has always worked best on her own. Rumours of her skill are whispered throughout the depths of the criminal underworld. She is as ruthless as the bird of prey whose name she adopts: Hawkeye. She has no time, no patience for a partner until a routine termination brings a dangerous redheaded assassin in her crosshairs…and into her life.

Tonight my husband told me how he likes Finn and Rey together and hopes Finnrey will be canon. He thinks something will happen in Episode VIII that will bring them into a romantic relationship. Just when I think I can’t love him any harder he finds some way to burrow deeper into my heart like a cute lil parasite.

you know, i forgot for the longest time that the monsters in the original Pac-Man game (i refuse to refer to them as “ghosts”) canonically have legs and feet under their goofy bedsheet costumes, as revealed in two of the “intermissions”:

(that’s not blood in the second picture, Blinky’s dragging his red sheet on his other leg.)

later games and the cartoons retconned this, of course, but they’re all still bug-eyed flesh horrors in my heart.

btw, the goomba-looking fellow is a Mushlin from Libble Rabble, another game by Toru Iwatani. it’s kinda like Qix, only not really.
