Verandah of Memories… by Sheikh Shahriar Ahmed
Via Flickr:
For the last five years, this verandah observed countless chitchats, laughs, anger, desperation. And it’ll keep observing the emotions, it’s the people who’ll come and go. I was there, I am not anymore. BUET, 2015

They Call it - Rag Corner by Sheikh Shahriar Ahmed
Via Flickr:
I don’t know the history, but it is a place where the students of seniormost batch hang out.

I have 10 ISHA points…with 4 shows left in the season. That leaves me with about 22 points to earn. I’m not trying to put pressure on myself because I know that if I don’t go to Regionals this semester, I’ll be able to go next year. Someday, though, I really want to make it to Nationals.

A View worth being Gazed upon… by Sheikh Shahriar Ahmed
Via Flickr:
Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology(BUET) is one of the public universities of Bangladesh with (probably) the smallest campus area. Though the campus is small, it can be said that it is one of the cleanest areas in entire country. Authority puts a lot of effort to keep the campus neat and clean. But as usual, if the students are not willing to keep their own campus clean, at the end of the day, the cleanliness as seen in early morning vanishes like magic. Cleanliness is a sense which Bengali (North Indian Belt, to be precise) people simply don’t possess. It’s a shame.

Practical Surveying is ON… by Sheikh Shahriar Ahmed
Via Flickr:
Civil Engineering students need to attend a practical surveying course as per requirement. It is infamous for is notoriously tough outline. For 15 straight days, from 6:30 A.M. to 3 P.M. , students need to perform field work. After one hours of gap, they need to produce output of their work in drawing sheets. Though physically very challenging, usually this course turns out to be the most memorable one. Strong bonding and understanding is developed between classmates, which has an everlasting effect.
