I think my fascination with mid-century greasers stems from the fact that my father, to some degree, was one.  For real.  Knife fights.  Drag racing.  Kicked out of his high school.  He was so cool.  Hell, even at seventy seven years old, he still is.  Best. Dad.  Ever.
