Y/N piled the last box into the moving truck, brushing a few
strands of hair away from her perspiring forehead. She heaved a sigh, looking down at the latch.
“Babe, do you have the lock,” she called over her
shoulder. “I can’t believe you talked me
into moving to Kansas.” She propped her
leg onto the bumper, stretching the growing pain in her back from carrying
boxes of text books. An arm wrapped
around her waist, and she straightened.
“I was hoping I could talk you into one more thing,” Sam
said, pressing a kiss to her cheek. A velvety
black box appeared in front of her face.
She spun in his arms.
“Sam, oh my god!” She
covered her astounded expression, while he stooped down to one knee, which
still made them almost eye level. He
opened the box with a smile.
Springfield Armory M1A variant with a 16″ long barrel and factory designed muzzle brake. This one appears to have the Ultimak M8 Forward Optic Mount upper Handguard. The SOCOM 16 is a great compact bush/brush/truck gun but don’t expect too much accuracy. It’s front sight is wider than on a standard M1A and can make iron sight shots a bit tricky at longer ranges.
