ok update me what do you exactly do?
I’m a graphic designer by trade for over 8 years now. I also hold a fairly strong skillset as a front end developer (the coding behind what makes a website a website). Primarily though, I’m a designer by default and do things like create branding/identity, print materials, all marketing collateral, e-marketing, web design, digital design, advertisements, etc.
My full time position is with NJ’s leading commercial brokerage firm and I am their Creative Marketing Director. I rebuilt their entire brand when I came on board here including overseeing their entire website overhaul in addition to recreating all of their associated marketing collateral. At first this was very exciting but after I was done rebuilding all of their graphic, digital and e-marketing materials, the ship pretty much runs itself and I merely maintain and readjust things to suit each brokers needs depending on the properties. The boring parts of my job though are around providing executive level assistance to my 3 bosses, writing press releases, and being everyones go-to person for IT needs before having to contact our IT vendor.
I freelance on the side though and that’s where more of my creativity is stimulated. You can check out my website by going to http://jvdesigns.net for my full portfolio of work.
