Do you know that on March 17th there will be The BPG Awards in London and the crown and PM are nominated? If GA goes I will lose everything, really, enough is enough!!!!

Aaaaaaand…. Here we go again! We’d better get ready, then. She hasn’t anything scheduled in NY after March 15th, so I can see the drama coming full speed one more time. I’m confident nothing else will happen that we’ve already seen, though. So buckle up, bite the bullet, and it’ll be fine.

War and Peace is nominated too, by the way.

Aidan won the Broadcasting Press Guild Breakthrough Award! :D He was not present at the ceremony, so he gave his speech in a video.  The video has not been released (yet!) but they have shown us this screencap, which I edited to see Aidan better ;)

Benedict Cumberbatch wins at the Broadcasting Press Guild Awards 2013

Sherlock has won a single award from a possible three nominations at the Broadcasting Press Guild Awards at a ceremony in Central London this lunchtime, with Benedict Cumberbatch winning for Best Actor.

The series featured in three categories - Best Drama Series, Best Actor (Benedict Cumberbatch) and the BPG Writer’s Award (Steven Moffat).

Benedict shared his win with Parade’s End, which led the pack with a total of five nominations across all categories. The World War I drama series took away four awards itself - Best Drama Series, Best Actor (Benedict Cumberbatch), Best Actress (Rebecca Hall) and the BPG Writer’s Award (Tom Stoppard)

The BPG awards are highly prized by programme-makers because they are selected independently by journalists who write about TV and radio - correspondents, critics and previewers. The awards lunch was attended by the winners, BPG members and leading broadcasting executives.
