GUN CRAZY!: 2015 – The Bardo National Museum in Tunisia is attacked by gunmen. 23 people, almost all tourists, are killed, and at least 50 other people are wounded. 1994 - After swearing that he didn’t have a gun in 1991, four guns and 25 boxes of ammo were confiscated from Kurt Cobain after his wife, Courtney Love, called police fearing he was going to commit suicide. He did commit suicide about 3 weeks later.

Nowadays we elect tax evaders President of the United States. 1992 – In a national referendum white South Africans vote overwhelmingly in favour of ending apartheid. 1990 - Security guards at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, Massachusetts, let in two men disguised as police officers who claimed they were responding to a disturbance call. Once inside, the pair revealed their true intentions, tied up the guards, and spent over an hour stealing art from the museum’s collection, which they loaded into their vehicle. It was found that they had taken 13 works of art, valued at $500 million, making it the largest private property theft in history. Despite efforts by the FBI and multiple probes across the world, no arrests have been made and no artwork has yet been recovered. The case remains open and unsolved, with the museum offering a reward of $5 million for information leading to recovery of the art. 1982 - Teddy Pendergrass was severely injured in a car accident in Philadelphia resulting in him being paralyzed from the waist down. 1965 - Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Bill Wyman were arrested for “insulting behavior” in London. The act was urinating on the wall of the Francis Garage. 1965 - Soviet cosmonaut Aleksei Leonov went on the first spacewalk. 1892 – Former Governor General Lord Stanley pledges to donate a silver challenge cup, later named after him, as an award for the best hockey team in Canada the Stanley Cup.
