Albus Potter ::
“So what would you like me to do? Magic myself popular? Conjure myself into a new house? Transfigure myself into a better student? Just cast a spell, Dad, and change me into what you want me to be, okay? It’ll work better for both of us.”
I have a terrible horrible theory that I really hope is not true but I feel like I need to share. You know how JK has a thing for unrequited love? Like so much that the plot seems to hinge on it? Merope’s unrequited love for Tom Riddle Sr. created Voldemort, Snape’s love for Lily and jealousy of James is literally what motivates him and affects Harry, Dumbledore’s love for Grindelwald, well I’m not sure how that really effects the plot but it’s there. Sure there are other forms of love that shape the series. Lily’s love for Harry being the strongest. But both Snape and Dumbledore felt unrequited love for their best friends and Albus Severus Potter is named after both of them… What if Albus ends up pining away for Scorpius but Scorpius is straight. See? Absolutely horrible! I need some Scorbus fluff right now!
I think one of the funniest, one of the most beautiful symbols in the QaFverse is the wedge of orange that Brian meticulously stuffs full of cocktail paraphernalia, to the extent that it defies the laws of physics, when he meets up with Ted at Woody's in 1.12. Have you ever seen a more perfect, wordless expression to epitomise boredom? — Gale force anon, speeding through the re-watch but also savouring it like it's the tastiest meal ever.
