So I finished spray painting my Meenah cuffs, but I’m still not sure how to approach the whole deal of getting the gems on them.
I was going to buy some fuchsia polymer clay, make little circles and glue them onto the cuffs since I’ve seen a few other cosplayers do that. I could also go hunting for some gems at a place like Michaels. I did see some pretty ones earlier but the only problem is that they sold them in packs of four with 2 round and two square for $8 each. I was thinking either get the polymer clay or go out and buy 4 packs of those $8 sets and just use the rounds gems.
my wicked bro james would have either candy red or lime blood. as for his lusus, i’m thinking something like a tiger or a tiger shark. and when i say tiger shark, i mean like top half is that of a tiger, bottom half is a shark (it can even have back legs and a shark tail).
i’ve had my Terezi wig and horns on since I’ve been home. I just walked into the kitchen to fix a bowl of cereal when my grandmother confronted me about it: “Girl, for God’s sake! It’s been 6 hours! Take the wig and horns off already!”
So now I’m finally able to make a post about the wonderful time I had this past Saturday at the Valentinestuck meet up. It was simply wonderful and I managed to make some new friends, too! I went as Meenah without the horns and makeup.
I hope I wasn’t too quiet as Meenah for some people but just know that I’m just a really shy person is all. It was my second meet up and I had just as much fun as I did at the Winterstuck one.
A lot of you might remember me as “the one with the shell phone” and “the one who kept laughing with her face covered.” I also gave out some choice Valentine’s that read “Property of Peixes” (which I printed off from the ever glorious askcr0nus askblog) and wrote some sweet things in them.
I suggest that everyone should watch the sales papers and check online for any deals going on for the 3DS. I managed to get mine for basically $70.
Target had a deal going on where you could get a $50 gift card with purchase of a 3DS, and I printed a coupon for a $10 gift card when you spent over $50, as well as another coupon for $40 when you spent over $100 on anything from the electronics department.
I had my own Extreme Couponing moment when I walked in to buy that 3DS.
