Through the powers of a Retweet I landed a project to help muirhoward on a pitch for a potential new financial client.

breathingjuice quickly put together a motion graphics sequence to showcase an animated version of a new branding concept. Gotta love a pitch process — full on for a few days but sometimes it’s great to work under that kind of pressure. If only there was the ability to fit two days into one…

breathingjuice is creating a motion graphics intro and title sequence for the Refugee Support Network.

Refugee Support Network exists to resource, enable and work with refugees, asylum seekers and other vulnerable migrants in London and the wider world.  We specialise in providing education support to separated children and those affected by conflict.

There’s some final edits to be made but I’ll post up the finished video asap.

A busy few months at breathingjuice continues with a recent colaboration with Earth Creative Strategies for the Big Society Network.

This animation was displayed (without audio) during the Big Society Network launch event on a plasma / tablet devices — strategy and design by Earth Creative.

I’ve recently finished working with Ogilvy & Mather to create some animations for a new Ad campaign for one of their financial clients. Really great people to work with and definitely the most (dare I say it) corporate of agencies I’ve worked at — maybe it’s just the fact that in the Canary Wharf office alone they have about 800 people on just two floors. Wowsers.

breathingjuice // Gumtree Car Ad

Whilst the majority of the hard work was already completed at Airside on the first version of the Ad I was asked to comp in some cars to shift the messaging. What a nice little job it was and the advert will be coming to a TV screen near you very soon.

breathingjuice has been invited to be a guest animator for this years Smile for London moving image exhibition Word in Motion — the poem that I’m animating has been written by the very talented Hollie Mcnish.

A bit more info from Smile for London

The pieces are being transformed by leading motion artists into 20-second-typographic-films, to be screened on the Underground platform screens for two weeks from 16th January 2012

It’s great to be part of this again — breathingjuice was selected as top 20 competition entry in 2011 with Smiling is also contagious

The illustrations used within the final 20 second animation have been created by the brilliant illustrator Jessica Nash. Can’t wait to see all the other animations at next week’s launch party and I’ll post more info on my completed animation sequence once the exhibition is live.

breathingjuice // Airside - Showreel 2011

At the end of last year I worked with Airside to update their online showreel which has now been updated on their website. As ever they have an amazing range of projects so comping them together in Final Cut Pro was great fun — keeping lots of different Art Directors happy was the only tough bit.
