Your side eyeing why DW is getting Liam Payne exclusives? Regardless of the fandom opinion of DW he writes for a UK tabloid that has a huge readership. It's a way to keep his name in the minds of the GP rather than just going to something smaller like Sugarscape etc.

I am going to totally ignore what seems to be a super condescending tone you’ve got there and answer this! I understand The Sun’s readership is large, and I also understand the concept of keeping Liam in the  minds of the GP.  However, more times than not, he also gets his exclusives directly from Simon Cowell, and 99.9% of the time, every exclusive he’s gotten has served Simon Cowell’s agenda.

I am very gently, every so pillow softly going to tell you that tabloid is not the publication you use to break music news and garner any kind of credibility, and obviously you must be aware that media positioning is a key factor most times when you’re breaking a new artist - The Sun isn’t on that list. You’d also probably be aware that articles can become syndicated, and that article? Curiously, it wasn’t reported on by any large US publication (or any US publication at all), and the majority of the UK reportage was confined to the usual suspects (Sugarscape, Capital FM, Celebs Now, Daily Star, etc). Compare that to when  it was announced he was reported to be working with Juicy J. That news was widely reported on, and by publications like Complex, Rolling Stone, Uproxx, MTV, etc.

So yeah - sorry, but I’m going to side eye anything that comes from Dan Wootton or The Sun.
