bracelets from the olbia treasure

Greek bracelets from the so-called “Olbia treasure,” named for the town in what is now Ukraine where it was found. Some of the elements date to the late 2nd century BCE, while the settings date to the 1st century BCE. They are decorated with granulation, beading, inlays, and enamel cloisonne work. They include garnets, amethyst, pearl, and crysoprase jewels. From the collection of the Walters Art Museum
