Being able to climb as much as I am doing at the moment is very nice, but it also comes with a price. After a couple weeks in the “grotto” as we call it, one of my fingers have caved in, and decided that I am climbing too much at the moment. It has swollen up, and it just seems like a typical sprain. I am not stopping because of that though, and have been climbing easier routes the last days, but with fewer fingers on my left hand.
Hopefully I’ll be able to get better again soon!
As a general overview of my climbing so far I am sad to say that I haven’t gotten that much better lately. But I am sure that in a while my climbing skills will improve. I have just gone through a course in climbing lead at my club as well, which can make it easier for me to get a lot of different climbing done every week.
