Note: This doesn’t represent the final configuration for the game’s levels, I just tossed some stuff on an empty floor and played it for a bit.

Dark Trance Django’s biting animation loop both with and without sprite boxes.

Below are the sprites that create the biting attack. Just like the Dragohoho before, there’s not a whole lot going on here, just the head sprites are changing. I never noticed that his scarf turns into the lower jaw of a monsterous face when he attacks. That’s super cool!
