"I can't believe I agreed to get a fucking tattoo for you... So, we're actually going through with this?"

“I mean, if you don’t wanna go through with it I can call Sean and cancel our appointment. We were both pretty drunk when we agreed…”

Luna hummed to herself as she rifled through her hamper for something to wear. “He wouldn’t be mad or anything if we cancelled.”

My gf was in the navy and now has some scars from fighting in the wars, has another one that covers her entire lower belly from surgery when she was a teen, and also suffers from PTSD and Bipolar II. At the beginning she feared that I wouldn't find her attractive or that I will find her scars repulsive, but to me, her scars are a sign of her strength, proof of having to carry a fight and getting on the other side (1/2)

Scars are not ugly, not the physical ones, nor the mental ones. Body marks are not necessarily ugly. We all have things we don’t like about ourselves, but despite that there are people out there who love those things, and love us despite them. So, anon, it might not be easy to get comfortable enough to share your mark with someone, but when you’ll find the right person, it won’t make her turn her eyes away. You are beautiful just the way you are (2/2).

You are absolutely right. Thank you for sharing your story with us !
