Bo continues to try to win over Cherie's love but she won't fall for it. By the end Cheri falls in love with Bo. The film was directed by Joshua Logan who Marilyn was excited to work with. In this film, Marilyn speaks with a southern accent to authenticate her character. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her work in Bus Stop.
