Bruno Mars, 31, stopped by to chat about his third studio album, 24K Magic, set to hit iTunes on November 18th. His lead single of the same name has already been topping charts, hitting #5 on the Hot 100 since its release on October 7th.
This is his first album since 2012’s Unorthodox Jukebox, which nabbed him the Grammy for ‘Best Pop Vocal Album’ in 2014.
In 2015, Bruno stayed-on-top with “Uptown Funk,” which he recorded with Mark Ronson for Ronson’s album Uptown Special. The single spent 14 consecutive weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and the music video is YouTube’s 4th most watched video of all time, clocking in at 1.9 billion views. 🎤 🏆
Bruno has expressed his desire for people to listen to 24K Magic in its entirety as one continuous wave. Working singularly, without any collaborations, Mars has said that this 9-track album is his best yet.
Rumors have been circling about Bruno following-up his 2016 Super Bowl Halftime Show performance with a cameo in Lady Gaga’s 2017 set. “Are you going to show up this year with Gaga?,” our Danielle Monaro asked Bruno. He jokingly responded, “I’m doing every year!”
