Illamasqua’s New Collection ‘Once’…

It was such a pleasure meeting up with the Illamasqua PR girls & other beauty bloggers a few weeks ago for afternoon tea in London. It was a chance to be introduced to the new Once collection over tea and scones as well as having a chance to ask questions about the new collection, future collections and what products Illamasqua will be keeping in the near future and what will be discontinuing.Thankfully they informed me they will always have their amazing Skin bases in their range, my favourite foundation in my kit!

On Friday, Illamasqua released the NEW collection called Once online.

“Once is the beauty of the burnished, eroded and erudite. A palette inspired by the gentle and exquisite point when a flower starts to fade and becomes impossibly beautiful in its complex decline. Combined with the subtle opulence of faded gilt layers that reveal themselves the more you blend and search. She is an incandescent moment, a poem alive and a light within a pallet of decaying decadence.” Alex Box, Creative Director for Illamasqua

What’s in the NEW Once Collection?

  • Three shades of NEW Vintage Metallix Eye Shadow, £16.50 each (Courtier - dusky rose, Embellish - rich cocoa, Bibelot - rustic golden teal)

  • Two new shades of Sheer Gloss, £16.50 each (Exquisite - pink oyster, Opulent - rainbow beige)

Delilah Cosmetics

My new Delilah Blusher in shade Opera has been sat on my make-up table for a while now. I figured it looked too pretty to swatch or even use, however this weekend I finally used it at my Karla Cosmetics campaign photo-shoot ready for new images to launch my new product in July.

I am super excited for this release, especially as I have been designing them for over a year now. I will be revealing some teasers soon to give away some more clues what it might be! Delilah colour blushers have a silky texture which applies with a natural satin finish (no shimmer).

I love the fact that they are buildable and are super pigmented. Here I used shade Opera on top of a cream based foundation achieving the desired shade I planned for. There are currently three shades available in the range retailing at £26.00 each from www.delilahcosmetics.com
