[ jb (im jaebum) x cafe!au ]

you can see the golden, pink sunrise peaking up from the city skyline from the view inside your grandmother’s cafe. a yawn escaped your lips without your permission and you lightly smacked your cheeks to get you to wake a bit more.

with all the chairs turned over and placed on the ground from their night’s rest on the tables, you dragged your feet behind the counter to start up the coffee makers and to check the timers on the pastries that were baking in the back.

as you filled one of the machines with your favorite blends to make your own cup of coffee to fully wake you before the cafe actually opened, a light tap on the glass doors distracted you. your eyes quickly meet a pair of dark, chocolate brown orbs that were slightly hidden behind his messy fringe. even with more than half of his face being covered by a black mask and his dark hair, you felt yourself blush as he gave you a gentle wave to open the door.

(1) Hi, so about your acne question: For products, I would recommend CeraVe if you're looking for something cheap. If you would like to splurge, I would recommend any of the major Korean brands (Etude house, TonyMoly, SkinFood, Laneige, etc). You can just type in "Korean skin care" and search around for products that match your symptoms. Products typically range from $5-$40 and can be found on amazon.

(2) Personally I use a multi step process and I’ve seen amazing results. I start with an oil cleanser, then a foam cleanser, then exfoliate, then a toner, then essence, then a sheet mask, then moisturize and spf. Body acne is helped best by exfoliation (but of course this is a generalization)

(3) Products I use are: CeraVe Hydrating cleanser Wonder Pore foaming cleanser by etude house Tony moly moisture foam cleanser Tony moly rice smooth toner Tony moly the cherry blossom essence Tony moly strawberry mushroom sugar scrub Ponds facial lotion

(4) and finally, about the rose water: Roses have many properties that lend to anti inflammatory and brightening results. So yes, rose water does help clear skin. Other similar options would be aloe, cucumber, pomegranate, mint, blueberry, and most teas. Now, you can ingest these foods, or you can buy products containing essences of the foods. But remember, water is about all else. A glass of water and a good bar of soap can go a long way in terms of acne. Also, pls take care and destress often!

wow this is so informative and thorough, thank you !! I’ll definitely be keeping this for reference ✨ 👌

I’ve been working on a pond over the weekend. The ground here always appeared wet. So when I dug it I might have found an natural spring I am not too sure yet, time will tell. I built up the ground using old clothes of natural material, paper, wood, old bricks and rocks. Then covered it all with the earth dug up from the pond. Above it I planted a small oak tree, hawthorn, hedge cuttings, broadbeans, wild garlic, wild mustard and water mint. Around it I have put in some blueberries. Hidden underneath the stones is an overflow pipe.
