Only of three things is Harry Styles certain of. First, that this is his first summer in the large city and he must make the most of it. Second, that his parents are pledging to have him married off to a wealthy benefactor by the end of the summer. Third, and this is the most important of all, Harry doesn’t particularly care for the notion. In fact, he rather has his eye on a very different sort of prospect.
The one where Louis wants to go away to college to get away from everything having to do with his hometown. So when he finds out his roommate will be Harry Styles, perfect school athelete and the exact opposite of what Louis wants in a roommate, he’s not happy about it.
And i know ive rec’ed this before but i just reread it for the first time in a long time and the writing still amazes me!! if you’re in the mood for a poetic like fic, DEFINITELY check this out (though it is quite angsty and check the tags)
Good morning all! We’ve got pretty gloomy weather today, so I thought it would be apt to post a sea of blue books! I own too many blue books tbh. 😂💙💙💙 #seaofbooks tag tagged by @albumsbooksandfilm and #thebluechallenge tag tagged by @paperfury, thanks lovelies! 😊💙📚
15.05, the gift that keeps on giving: blocking edition.
look, everyone knows where my priorities lie with this new season, but even objectively speaking, this shot is awesome. you don’t need the context of the story to see that dylan is an intruder that tucker, wash and carolina are all united to defend against if necessary, at varying levels of readiness: tucker is armed but here to listen, wash is prepared to engage if he has to, and carolina will shoot dylan if she so much as twitches threateningly.
only seconds pass between this shot and one that i didn’t even think was going to make it into the episode:
like. damn. joe understands his fucking visuals. once again, you don’t have to hear what they’ve been up to to know that they’re okay: you see it the moment they form up.
everybody’s place around this table isn’t an accident, either. (and i love that caboose and tucker’s preferred red is over on their side. that’s a nice touch.) even if you don’t consciously notice it, the positioning of the characters in “previously on” suggests unity and balance at multiple points throughout the episode.
sure would be unfortunate if something happened to throw this off…
who else out here enjoying carwash’s story of people who are horrifically taken advantage of, lash out at the wrong individuals, are forgiven by those same individuals, and have since vowed to protect them with their literal goddamn lives
“He isn’t the same. His eyes have grown cold and hard, like ice. He’s lost his spark. He’s lost who he was. He doesn’t know who he’s supposed to be anymore. A brother? A lover? A best friend? A soldier? A flirt? A son? He doesn’t know. He feels lost, and confused, and forgotten. He no longer knows the warmth of a family. He’s doesn’t remember his mother’s voice and it terrifies him. He misses his mother. He misses you all dearly. He misses what we used to be. Defenders of the universe sounded so cool at first, but then…” There was an inner sigh, and the paladins could feel her sorrow. “Help my cub, please. Help him find what he’s forgotten. He isn’t happy anymore. He is not the boy I picked up on earth, he’s not the friend you had at the garrison, and God knows he’s not the soldier he thinks you want him to be. He’s your comrade. He’s family. He’s blood. Save him.”
(I don’t know why I wrote this?? Too much time in the langst tag.)
(This is blue speaking btw)
