Back to the normal routine and it felt so good to jump into that water today.  While mentally last week took a little bit of a toll on me as the exercise keeps me happier.  Physically I think the break might have been good for me as I felt a lot better in the water today than I have in a few months.  Granted the coach said she is starting back up easier so everyone can focus on technique this week after some really tough practices over the summer.  So that also helped but yeah, my body felt good.

Yesterday was the coaches birthday so today’s swim was all based on that - which just makes things more fun and interesting!

700 swim/pull warmup before practice started

    • start at the flags treading water, drop and do 8 dolphin kicks fast, then good technique to the other side.
