The birds of Cuba are spectacular. This year, we enjoyed some exceptional experiences and encounters with some of the most sought-after species in the world. Of particular note, Zapata Wren put on an incredible show for our groups!

Q is for the Blue-headed Quail-dove 🕊️
These fluffy birds are very shy and prefer to run instead of flying!

Only found in Cuba, these quail-doves were common birds but are now endangered due to excessive hunting and habitat loss.
