Beast!Jumin x Beauty!MC: The Dance Part 1

so i just watched the movie…and this idea brilliant came up..(REALLY BUSY NOW BUT I TOT I SHOULD JUST UPLOAD A PART OF IT FIRST AND CONTINUE LATER SRY)…….enjoy ;))

Jumin helped his burly lower body and ego sink into the fluffy white foams of the tub, spilling some out of the periphery. “I can’t believed she agreed on this,” he exclaimed, a little coy than usual, with his eyes staring through the soapy water as if he could see the molecules of it, and with a lopsided, satisfactory smile.

“Don’t you worry, Jumin. We’ll transform you into a handsome, young prince that will daze mademoiselle’s heart!” Luciel bantered nonchalently, shoving his candles in every direction.

“But, if this dance did not go well, Mr Han, you’ll get cold tea for life, I’m afraid,” Jaehee sighed, reminding the beast of their deal. “This might be our last chance…so please don’t screw it up…for Yoosung and I.”

Jumin grund slightly as a levitating brush combed him.

Zen was buffing his stern visage with white powder and blotted his cheeks with a potent red rouge with his pristine white feathers, snickering away quietly. Jumin stared at himself in the mirror while Zen draped a ludicrous wig on the beast. “There, you’re done, mista trust fund kid!” “Do you think…she’ll like it…?” Jumin’s voice slightly quivered with innocence and pure curiousity. “Zenny, it’s not the time to joke around….*sigh* Miss Vanderwood can you please clean his face up?” Luciel hit his right candle onto the middle one. “Hey…! Stop calling me a Miss! Or I’ll hit you with my hand….real hand!!” The clock grunted in disapproval, the candle gave a questioning look on his hand-stache.

What do you keep in your carry along makeup bag? For touch ups throughout the day

Hello! xo

Depending on the day i’ll bring different things. If it’s super cold and windy outside i’ll usually bring some sort of facial mist so my skin doesn’t look cracked and dry, something like Mario Badescu Facial Rose Water Spray or the Aesop Immediate Moisture Facial Hydrosol. If it’s super warm and I know my makeup is going to melt off i’ll bring a translucent powder compact. Translucent powder is my favorite blotting powder because it doesn’t cake up over oils or already oxidizing foundation. Translucent powder will make everything look softer, more airbrushed while getting rid of any shine and preventing shine. My favorite travel translucent powder is the NARS Light Reflecting Translucent Pressed Powder but Revlon makes a great one, too! A new brand I love Ilia makes a travel translucent powder with a brush + powder in one product that i’m dying to try for long makeup days. Supergoop also makes a travel powder that has SPF, this would be amazing for summer days because you always want to reapply SPF.

For non face products i’ll keep easy to apply lipsticks and chapsticks in my purse. Something I can put on without looking in a mirror or something that’s hydrating but still looks nice on the lips. I’ll usually do the whole lip liner + lipstick thing in the morning but mid day I don’t reapply that whole lip, i’ll put on an easier lip to last the rest of the day.

My favorite easy to apply mid day lipsticks are

  • Glossier Balm Dot Coms in the tinted shades like Rose and Cherry. These will give color as well as hydrate.
  • Fresh Tinted Lip Balm, same as the Glossier balms these are hydrating yet pack a lot of color, more than the Glossier!
  • Glossier Generation G Lipsticks, these are feather light and start off semi sheer so i’ll pop them off mid day.
  • Dior Addict Lip Glow, this gives your lips a doll like pink flush, doesnt really look like lipstick but hydrates + adds color. These also come in a few shades now, but I have the classic rosy pink shade.
  • NYX Butter Gloss. Non sticky and looks pretty, easy to apply!

Lastly i’ll usually touch up my brows with some brow gel to keep them looking fluffy yet tamed. I’ll also occasionally add more highlight and my favorite on the go one is Glossier Haloscope in Moonstone (more dewy, less shimmery) or the Sonia Kashuk Stick Highlighter.

I’m only a million years late for this oops.

Also I inked things. I inked too many things. The pain train is real. ;__;

I start school tomorrow and I was wondering if you could give me something like a survival kit I could put in my backpack?

a couple lip balms, hand sanitizer, pads/tampons, makeup wipes, a mini hairbrush, gum, hair ties, mini perfume/body spray, a few dollars in cash, your essential makeup (mascara, powder, etc.), blotting papers, a portable charger or extra phone charger, and a mini lotion

quote-beauties-blog  asked:

How do you use blotting papers?

In my opinion, blotting papers are one of the most unappreciated and under hyped beauty essentials out there, if you’re wanting to touch up or refresh your makeup in the middle of the day then oil blotting papers are your savior!

We help you survive sweltering graduations, teary-eyed weddings, and the dog days to come.

It’s officially summer—and with the start of the new season comes rising temperatures and event invites. You name it: weddings, graduations, college reunions—the list goes on. The truth is, we’re excited to get gussied up for these sentimental moments, but we also want to take the proper precautions for the weather, emotions, and cameras we’ll be facing. Below, we list our top beauty tips to complement your warm-weather social schedule. KELLEY HOFFMAN

When it comes to foundation in the summer, either people want their foundation to last all day or they take a light, minimalist approach to their complexion makeup.

If you want a flawless finish you don’t have to think about for 10 hours, go for a long-wearing formula.

Try: SEPHORA COLLECTION 10 HR Wear Perfection Foundation

Pairing your summer foundation with a silicone-free primer not only will help it last, but it also won’t feel as heavy as other primers. In addition, for some people who tend to have oily skin, foundation color can change slightly throughout a hot summer day because of oxidization—it mixes with the air outside, as well as your own natural oils—and a primer can help keep your color true.

Try: Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water

If you want light and easy coverage, serum foundations are your friends.

When controlling shine, you don’t want to touch up with a powder foundation because it can get cakey when mixed with perspiration and settle into lines. A better way to do this is with a face-blotting powder. It won’t add color, but it will help mattify.

Try: MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Pressed Powder

Blot in your hot spots—the sides of the nose, the center of the forehead, and the inner corner of the eyes. Don’t blot your center of the nose, chin area, or the tops of your cheeks—this way, you’ll look glowy, but not greasy. Disposable blotting papers are easy to throw in your purse when you’re on the go.

Try: SEPHORA COLLECTION Mattifying Blotting Films

Yes, we can get teary at once-in-a-lifetime events—but even just during summer in general, we squint at the sun more, and waterproof mascara can help keep your lashes from smudging.

Try: tarte Lights, Camera, Splashes Waterproof Mascara

Waterproof eyeliner should also be on your list for the same reasons as above. However, while you can do your typical black or brown, adding a waterproof colorful eyeliner in blue is also a worry-free, on-trend way to bring some fun to your look.

Try: SEPHORA COLLECTION Colorful Waterproof Eyeliner 24 HR Wear

Brows are a great way to add a bit of polish to your look. And if you happen to be wearing a graduation cap, they’ll be more front and center than ever.

If you’re a brow beginner, and don’t feel the need to have the Most Instagram Eyebrows Ever, a good way to start is with a pencil that has a built-in spoolie. Just fill in any spots in your tails and brush it through for a natural effect.

Try: Marc Jacobs Beauty Brow Wow Defining Longwear Pencil

If your eyebrow experience is more advanced, try a pen that doesn’t deposit a huge amount of color, but can help you be more precise and build the brow for a fuller look.

Try: Kat Von D Tattoo Brow

If you tend to be oily, sometimes brow color can shift under the humidity of summer. A good way to keep it in place is by using a primer, and you can easily just use any eye shadow primer on your brows as well.

Try: Too Faced Shadow Insurance

Many of us want a long-wearing lip color in the summer. For special events, we suggest using a red lip with a blue undertone to help make your teeth look whiter.

Try: stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Beso

However, if your skintone has more of a yellow undertone, look for less of a true red color, and find a berry hue with a blue undertone.

Try: Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bauhau5

For an easy day in the sun—perhaps at a pool or at the beach—you might not want to look overly done, but you still get some light color and moisture. Tinted oils are a good way to get your fix.

Try: YVES SAINT LAURENT Volupté Tint-In-Oil

An easy way to take off your stubborn summer makeup is with this innovative cloth. You only need to add water, and it works for a thousand washes.

Try: Makeup Eraser The Original MakeUp Eraser

Whenever you’re working with waterproof eye makeup, it’s important to also get a remover. It’s a fragile area, and you don’t want to be rubbing or pulling—you should be gentle.

Try: Fresh Soy Conditioning Eye Makeup Remover

Perfect your beauty game with 10 lip tips from Gilbert Soliz, Global Artist for Marc Jacobs Beauty.

Lipstick is a girl’s best accessory, and we’re always looking for ways to wear it better. To celebrate the launch of the new Marc Jacobs Beauty luxury lipstick, Le Marc Lip Crème, we asked Gilbert Soliz, Sephora PRO Artist-turned-Marc Jacobs Beauty Global Artist, to deliver some lip service. BECKY PEDERSON

1. EXFOLIATE FIRST. “A gentle exfoliator will smooth over rough texture that is often exacerbated by the cold winter months.”

2. MOISTURIZE. “I always prep and prime the lip using Lip Lock Moisture Balm in Makeout. The buttery balm locks in hydration and goes on clear, so it won’t affect the lip color being applied over it.”

3. NEUTRALIZE. “Apply a tiny amount of concealer or foundation over your lips to create a really great base for color. This makes it easier to guide the lipstick ‘bullet’ and allows you to create your own lip line.”

4. BLOT. “Make your lipstick budge-proof by applying your favorite shade of Le Marc Lip Crème—which already has an incredible 10-hour wear—then blot with a single-ply piece of tissue. Repeat the application with another swipe followed by another blot. Before removing the tissue from your second blot, pat Perfection Powder in Translucent over the tissue to set lips and create a gorgeous, color-saturated, matte finish.”

5. MIND THE EDGES. “One of my favorite tricks to ensuring that lip color doesn’t feather or bleed—especially when wearing reds—is to utilize The Conceal—Full Cover Correcting Brush No.14 and swipe the perimeter of the mouth with Perfection Powder in one shade lighter than your natural skin tone.”

6. DON’T BE (P)OUTDATED. “Matching your lip color to your lip liner is a trend that isn’t as popular as it has been in decades past! To create a more modern lip, use a neutral-based (P)outliner Longwear Lip Pencil. These shades were designed to be your perfect natural lip color and create the ideal, longwearing canvas for lipstick. I use (P)outliner to outline, define, and fill in lips before applying color.”

7. CLEAN UP. “If you’re using a light-toned lipstick, sometimes it helps to apply the lipstick first and then define your lips with a nude lip liner. I love to do this with (P)outliner Longwear Lip Pencil in (Nude)ist.”

8. DON’T BE AFRAID OF COLOR. “If you’re wary of wearing something bold, like a bright red, start by lightly applying lipstick using your index finger. Gently pat it on for a soft, beautiful, stained effect.”

9. STAY COOL. “If you have a cool undertone, you’d look great in pinks or strong reds—both have a blue undertone. For a great pink, I love Le Marc Lip Crème in Je T’aime. For reds, I adore Goddess.”

10. WARM UP. “If you have a warm undertone, you can get away with great corals or reds with a brown or orange undertone. Le Marc Lip Crème in Rei of Light was inspired by Comme des Garçons founder Rei Kawakubo. It’s this incredible, sophisticated shade of red with an infusion of rust. It complements warm tones perfectly!”

MOTD - Pop of Color

Hey, glam friends! My MOTD is inspired by two of my favorite colors which are purple and gold. I created a natural look with a little pop of gold in the inner corner of my eyes, and purple on my lips. I love a bold lip color! It uplifts my mood and it’s always fun to wear any day of the week.
