Imagine being in very poor health, too sick to work regularly, but still managing to produce something this beautiful just in time for the boxset… tumblr squishes it, so you really can’t appreciate all the details, I absolutely recommend full-viewing this, it’s stunning. Look, I even tried to toss in some detail shots, because it’s just so pretty.

Apparently, Takeda’s art was so incredible, the author Sakuraba felt she had to write better to live up to Takeda’s illustrations and still felt Takeda’s art exceeded her writing in quality.
