“I’ll always be by your side” (Ethan)

Request: You saw Ethan with another girl whilst you were hanging out with your best friend Grayson. You became distant from Ethan because of this, because you have always had feelings for him. At Lisa and Seans bbq he admits his true feelings for you. I love your writting!! If this is possible to write i will forever love you. (Anon)

A/N: Thanks, love you! I hope this is what you wanted❤

It was a calmed Friday evening and you were walking trough the mall with your best friend Grayson.

“That movie was amazing!” he said.

“Yeah, it was super funny and I-” you stopped talking and walking when you saw Ethan, Graysons twin brother and your current crush, hugging with some girl. Your eyes watered but you held back your tears.

“Oh no, Y/N are you okay? I’m sure she is just a friend” he hugged her tighter and Grayson bited his lip.

“No, it’s fine. You know that I like him since we were little but he doesn’t know and he can do whatever he wants” you said turning around.

“Let’s go to Starbucks, I know that makes you feel better” you smiled and nodded.

After a few more hours, you and Gray decided to go to your house.

“Hey, would you mind staying tonight?” You asked

“Of course not, we can sleepover” he said

“Thanks” his phone buzzed and he said.

“Mom says that we are having a bbq tomorrow, want to come?” he asked

“It’s going your brother’s girlfriend?” you asked

“No, it’s only family. Well, you are like my sister so… And I don’t know if she’s her girlfriend” he said

“Okay, I’ll go”

*Next day*

You decided you were going to be wearing a white crop top, a baby pink skirt and low block heeled nude sandals. Your makeup was natural and you were ready to go.

The house was in the same street so you walked. When you arrived, you saw Lisa walking to you and hugging you tight.

“Y/N! Thanks for coming sweetie, you look gorgeous” she said

“Thanks Lisa, you too. I brought cookies I cooked yesterday”

“Yes! I love your cookies. Hello Y/N, you’re beautiful” Sean said

“Thanks!”

You walked to the back yard where there were the twins.

“Hi guys!” You said not looking at Ethan. They came for a hug.

You started talking with Gray, ignoring Ethan and you noticed he was getting a little angry.

“Y/N, can we talk for a second? In private” he asked, you nodded and follow him to his room. He closed the door and stared into you eyes.

“First off all, you’re stunning” he said and you blushed “Look I don’t know why are you ignoring me, but I can’t take it” he looked at you.

“What do you mean?”

“You know what I mean, but you know what? It’s fine, I bought you this but I guess you don’t want it” he said and opened a little velvet box with a moon necklace inside. The moon said ‘Always’

“Why?” you asked surprised

“Because I love you Y/N, I loved you since we were little kids and I wantes to tell you that I’ll always be by your side” he looked so sad, but you held his cheek.

“But yesterday you were with a girl at the mall and Gray and I saw you guys I just-”

“She was helping me because I wasn’t sure if I should told you or not and she made me call down. She’s my friend Lila” you were now in tears and hugged him.

“I love you since we were kids too, Ethan” you said and he smiled, kissing you.

“I bought a ring that matches your necklace” he said and showed you his hand. It said ‘Always’ just like yours.

“Would you be my girlfriend?” He asked kissing your nose

“Of course” you two walked out and everyone was staring at you.

“We’re together!” Ethan said and everyone cheered.

“I love you” you said laughing

“I love you too Y/N”

hi deb! i need three outfits for my three day trip to paris from mondag till wednesday! do you think you can help me out? i kinda need them to last a whole day from like to go out for breakfast till after dinner and drinks when i need to go to the hotel to get ready for bed! thanks in advance love!

Hi! Jeans, white tee, oversized blazer, baker boy hat/hoop earrings, mid block heeled sandals; or white blouse, denim skirt, leather jacket, sneakers, add a red lip and straw bag; or slip dress , cream sweater at the waist, pendant necklace, bucket bag and flat mules

Hey. If you could have only essential clothes for a minimalist wardrobe, what would your choices be? sorry for this question, I'm just trying to dress better.

Hi! Shall we aim for Parisian chic? I think the ideal goal is for a wardrobe that is wearable in all occasions (save fancy dress balls), in a neutral palate (no patterns), and suitable for all seasons.

outerwear

  • slim silk bomber jacket
  • sweaters in shades of navy, moss green and camel
  • heavy wool coat for winter
  • (vegan / faux) leather jacket
  • faux fur coat or trench coat as a statement!

tops/dresses/skirts

  • the lbd and her sister, the little white dress
  • long-sleeved black velvet dress
  • fitted t-shirts
  • long-sleeved shirts in black, stripped navy and white lace
  • flared a-line or layered skirts in various lengths
  • off shoulder “bardot” tops/dresses
  • button-up blouses in sheer, lace, and black
  • sheer tights in nude and black

shoes

  • ballet flats (think repetto lookalikes)
  • glossy chelsea boots
  • suede kneelength or ankle boots
  • the classic 3.5″ pump
  • nike tennis classic or adidas stan smiths
  • flat or block heel sandals (no wedges)

As you can see, I feel that clothing material like lace, velvet and silk can replace often-clashing patterns for a more complex yet elegant look to wear than plain colours. Hope this helps!

Hi! So I'm in my junior year of college and I realized half of my closet is from high school. What are some basics I should have to start upping my wardrobe game? I'm a very casual dresser and I love neutrals and earth tones. I have long legs but a short torso. Any help?

Hi there! Below is a list of basics that I’d recommend for getting for your wardrobe to a more mature style. A good tip is to buy pieces which you can mix and match for several different outfits.

  • Shirts ― Plaid and denim shirts are perfect for any outfit or as just another layer in the winter weather. Paired with a statement necklace these pieces can add a chic twist to an outfit. You can see here that Jessica Alba does it!
  • Blouses ― Chiffon are one of my favourite items. They can glam up an outfit for an occasion or add a classy twist to a causal outfit. Blouses are also great for job interviews. Some examples are here as a business casual look, here as a casual day look and here.
  • Leather jackets ― The ultimate jacket for every outfit. I class this as a necessity. It’s perfect with pretty much everything and can never go out of style. A good leather jacket is an investment piece and can be worn for casual looks, nights out and parties. Here is an example of a going out outfit and here as a casual day look.
  • Blazers ― The ultimate way to smarten up a casual outfit. Easy to style for job interview, dinner dates and parties, there is no reason not to have one. Topshop sell some blazers which mix trendy and formal!
  • Jumpsuits ― A great piece which can be dressed up for a night time or down on a casual outing. Here and here are two good examples of jumpsuits catered for day and night!
  • Little black dress ― Needed for those formal occasions and never goes out of style. Asos has some great party style dresses. Missguided, Boohoo, Showpo and PepperMayo have some at a cheaper price.
  • Brogues ― Great for dressing up a casual outfit and wearing for a job interview.
  • Heels ― Necessity for those formal occasions and gatherings. Some styles that would be good include skinny strapped heels, block heel sandals, simple black heels (I bought these for my year 12 formal!) and heeled boots.
  • Handbag ― I’d recommend to handbags - a large one for every day and a small crossbody bag (or clutch). Investing in a good quality bag is a great way to up your wardrobe.
  • Jewellery ― Accessorising can really improve your overall outfit. Pairing clothes with a statement necklace, a selection of rings or a bracelet can make a real difference. A watch can also be an on-trend piece. Here is a list of watch makers that I personally like.

Hope this helps. Best of luck with improving your wardrobe! x

That 70’s Skirt

By Karissa Marie

This post is for those minimal but trendy ladies out there. I always love adding easy, breezy outfits to my blog because it’s very likely that you own similar pieces in your own closets. I’m sure you have a grey crop top and denim skirt… and if you don’t, you should because they are all the rage right now. The 70’s styled denim skirt is so popular at the moment, every store has recently came out with their own versions of it. I also see them every single time I check my Instagram. I feel like I belong on a modern day version of “That 70’s Show.”

One thing I do recommend if you choose to be inspired by this outfit post is to LEAVE THE LEATHER JACKET AT HOME. It was 80 something degrees outside and I was close to having a heat stroke while taking these pictures. I just wanted the jacket for dramatic effect but I nearly died. (Exaggeration is my specialty, can you tell?)

Have a fabulous day! See you next time!

With Love,
